Brianna I’m so sorry for your loss of your father, I lost my mom not long ago, but I’m glad your eating healthy and this is a good start to eating life style, but also check put Netflix movie documentary “what the fork? Also others about foods, you see it is not low fat foods, is a myth and they are not bad for you, actually good for your brain, and beneficial for our bodies, and italians, still do eat fats… So adjust this diet to what is in the best interest for your health plus I battle with anxiety, as well, eating fat helps our brains in so many was mays, I suggest a supplement 5HTP it is to help us feel more positive and happy, also helps with relaxing, our brain, look into this…. joy is one thing I was lacki g for awhile after my mother passed, but with time and prayer, and a good diet taking walks, I felt like I can cope better for myself and my kids at home.

I love your food hauls, you should definitely do food hauls more often!! I was a bit surprised, though, that at least 50% (probably rather 60% or so) of the haul are processed foods…since you were saying in the beginning that you are trying to avoid processed foods.

I cut out caffeine from my diet last year and I feel so much better (it was rough going through the withdrawals the first week though), and I’ve never drank alcohol. The studies that have come out recently on red wine are not good, but I don’t believe anything taken in moderation can be all bad.

I love how you planned this out. I’m also very visual. The meal plan doesn’t really follow the Mediterranean diet though. The Med diet is heavy on grains and produce as well as olive oil, nuts, and seeds(as much as 40% of your calories from fat) also it is very light on red meat(3 or less times per month). It seems this is a traditional food pyramid diet to me with the exception of not much grains.I suggest looking up the med diet pyramid, very different.
I do not follow the Mediterranean Diet but your meals sound very similar to how I eat. Would love to see how you make your Mediterranean chicken in the crock pot, I make one but it’s in the oven and I am always on the hunt for crock pot meals because it is summer and I don’t always want to be in the kitchen cooking. <3 Do you think brown rice pasta would be fine on the Mediterranean diet? I would watch beaned pastas, they tend to be more processed then you realize and it’s sooo much cheaper to make your own chickpea salad and it makes more that way as well.

The best way to get the nutrition value from Flax is in the powder form. I buy mine already ground at GNC. Check it out on the internet. I add the powder to salads and other receipes. Not to be critical, just a suggestion. I enjoy you and your mom’s channel.

Yes, I too am guilty of jumping from weight loss plan to others as well, I think that I need to have tested every single weight-loss system that was available, but eventually not one of them made it easier for me to lose and keep the weight off. I ended up trying for the very last time with the Custokebon Secrets because my friend who told me great things about it and so far to date I’ve successfully dropped 16 pounds within 4 weeks!
