Ive heard that our metabolism depends on our fat ratio, I mean for different types of activity. For example: for speed we need
60% saturated fat
30% monounsaturated
10% polyunsaturated

Also keto helps to make the tummy look smaller but it doesn’t make the wrong fat go away from my belly. I’m depresse because of it. I’m so so ashamed of my ugly belly.

I went to a weightloss clinic and was told to eat every 2 hrs. I lost weight but after 2 months I can’t digest food that well. Idk if it’s all the water I had to drink or protein but it feels like I don’t have enough stomach juice to breakdown food

the things you mentioned at first (drinking water, coffee, chewing gum)… I know these things don’t burn /that/ many calories (somewhere between 20-100 extra throughout the day probably), but i’m glad I did them when I started trying to lose weight. It helped me while intermittent fasting and trying not to eat high calorie foods because it makes you a lot less hungry to chew gum, drink water, and have some caffeine.
I never eat more than 1000 a day if i do i freak out and excersise the extra calories off but i don’t have an eating disorder

i got from 92kg to 77kg since January just with a diet, just eating healthy and avoiding sugar and only eating complex carbs,(vegetables) and walking with 6kg lost in the first 30 days, i was walking for something between 3 to 5 h a day due to the job i was doing back there. now i walk between 1 to 2 h per day but i have more time so i add some more intense training, the problem is that i do not have access to a gym to do something serious but overall are some good results

This is definitely very helpful and I think muscle mass does play a huge role and how much calories you burn I am still a little bit overweight but I’ve also been putting on a little bit of muscle and I think that’s been helping me lose more weight combined with a more active job that I have now which I work in a very hard warehouse job like I’m eating 2000 calories more than is recommended for my body weight and that’s at the highest activity level than that calculator had I’m eating about 4000 to 5000 calories a day I’m also doing the ketogenic diet and I’m still losing some weight at least eight pounds a month or more eating this amount of calories which according to the calculator I used I should be gaining weight that’s why I don’t depend on these calculators they don’t factor in a lot of things like your lean body mass and how active you actually are

Furthermore, and commonly misunderstood, your metabolism has no link between your fat loss, people are fat because they eat too much, so stop blaming your metabolism because it has no impact on weight gain/ loss.

For anyone wanting to increase their metabolism and get much healthier in the process, I would suggest that they try doing some exercise and also stop spending their lives sat in overly hot artificially heated homes, offices and cars. Try spending time doing exercise, especially outdoors. If more people did this then maybe buildings (such as office workplaces) wouldn’t need to be heated to sauna-like temperatures for the benefit of the lazy unhealthy majority, which causes people with a healthy metabolism to suffer.

Hi there! I like your videos they are helpful and educational! I am an endomorph female! So as you probably know I store a lot of fat on my thighs…. I am trying my best to ‘sculpt’ and ‘tone’ but I want to ask about you advice… You suggest we should all lift HEAVY and do sets of 8-10 reps. I don’t I use moderate weight and I do sets of 15-20 as many endomorph targeted videos suggest this. I feel this is because endomorphs build muscle quickly but shed fat a low slower. So by doing HEAVY weights I will increase the size of the muscles I already have but I will still have the fat layer on top. However, I totally get the science behind lifting heavy. you said 1,200 calories a day was too little, to me it was way too much so i used to eat 100-700 calories as a maximum or else i would just feel horrible and think of it as a binge and i would also gain weight by eating more than 700 calories which to me was frustrating, i stayed like that for 6 months, this year in the third week of march i decided that it was enough, so i decided i would try to eat “normally”, but i was frustrated because i rebounded back to 48 kg, and don’t get me wrong, i’m quite petite for my age(4’9 to be exact and no i’m not a child) so my ideal weight should be like 44-46 kilos, i was aiming to be 42kg but i just reached 44. in about half a month i rebounded, and right now i’m in the 1,200 calorie rate, i don’t know if i want to keep going since i really really don’t want to gain any weight but i do want to live a more free healthy lifestyle. away from counting and overthinking and jumping on the scale everyday and night, i still can’t stop doing that last thing tho. i hope my comment doesn’t get ignored i just wanted to share my progress so far.

I have a doubt about intermittent fasting for a person suffering from gallbladder /liver malfunction and bile build up and high concentration bile.. sometimes it feels like you need to eat something like a piece of healthy fat or even a piece of dark choc to help get your gallbladder empty and it is not like you are hungry. It depends also on your meal and I cannot find a right combination which would speed up the bile secretion without overloading your gallbladder..

that’s really devastating. cz i’m usually a healthy food lover; i eat vegetables and fruits a lot.. i hate sugar and i never use it in my drinks.. i drink black coffee bcz that’s what i love.. i move a lot cz i help taking care of the house and before quarantine going to university everyday and walking with friends. still i’m overweight and can’t lose any dammit:'(
