Lol “herbs are recently gaining attention for their medical properties”. Uh, it was only until relatively recently that people stopped using herbs and food as medicine more and relying on mainstream medicine.

dill, anise, fennel, cumin, etc are not in the labiatae or the lamiaceae family, they’re in the Apiaceae family. Marjoram is in the Lamiaceae (mint family )
I could be wrong but i believe Marjoram is in the mint family (Lamiaceae). dill anise, fennel and cumin are in the Parsley or celery family (Apiaceae). They are totally different plants.
