Funny didnt even hear anything about fatty liver 30 to 40 yrs ago!! How much of fatty liver is due to GMO goods??

I wish you had mentioned lecithin. Lecithin provides choline and functions to clean the liver even better than straight choline because it is amphiphilic.

You would need to eat more than 30 servings of broccoli to get the choline benefits of an egg. It’s probably true that vegans and vegetarians would require supplementation in order to get enough.

Great video. Like you I am a recovering alcoholic. I recently started taking a Choline/Inositol combo because I read somewhere it was good for social anxiety. I don’t know whether it’s a coincidence but I’ve been feeling a lot calmer. I also seem to be less depressed.

Bought choline and inositol in one. Took it today for first time for brain fog etc. I developed an eye twitch an hour or so after. Maybe Its nothing. Idk

There is a concern about Choline being converted into TMAO by our gut bacteria.
TMAO is thought to be a cancer causing agent.

I use at this moment a lot of supplements. I wonder of thát can cause problems in my liver? All these capsules or outsides they are made of? I got hypotyoroid issues. Heard earlier by making a scan my liver was a bit fatty. Maybe i gained weight 12 kg. I could’nt get rid of it with sport or atkinsdiet. I ear 2x a day between 12 and 1900. Because of the hypothyoroid sleep long. I am most busy 12 till 20.00. Try eat healthy, so much as possible walking outside, houskeeping etc. Have ti go back to sportschool. (Before inflammation feet caused by sport?). I am waiting for results ct scan my upperbally. Have pains when i walk or stand for a while by my right ribs. Often i said to doctors it feels like i havent space enough for my organs. Like 9 months pregnant. Use 4 weeks applecider vinager. And see results atlast!!! Stomach area is flatter! Start to feel like before a bit again. So i keep using it. Have to take more, cause i use only 2x a teaspoon. Maybe i do have bileproblems? Si dr. I have at least 20% of all bad unexplained symptoms being reduced, when I started to add raw Leek ( I have no idea if it has the same name in the States) and spring onions to my daily meals, I add them to salads, stir fries, and even shredded, to my home baked bread.

Since 2008 most of soy in USA is GMO…(soy lecithin) I stopped consuming soy products.
Doc.. had me all excited to learn about Choline and some other trace minerals and vitamins… outside of getting them from foods in a natural way.. it would be incredibly helpful if you could suggest specifics regarding which brands or types are absorbed better, work better, etc. The worst is wasting money on brands that aren’t credible and God knows google is full of millions of opinions. I read from another source that excess choline raises levels of a bacteria-produced compound called trimethylamine N-oxide (TMAO). Excess TMAO can increase risk of heart disease including heart attacks and strokes.

Hello Dr. Berg, the most recent research seems to point to a high correlation between choline and cancer, especially prostate cancer. Are you aware of such? Does it change your high regard for eggs? My PSA is going up and I have lost 35 pounds and all my other numbers have improved but I had started eating hard boiled eggs every day. Now hard stop! Please share your opinion however you would like.
I am here to report I was hospitalized in March and April, with one foot in the grave. The meds to save me weren’t because the cause wasn’t my heart but A FATTY LIVER! Finding Dr. Berg has been a blessing. The pharmacist told me she’s never seen anyone get off Xarelto and Metoprolol. Just watch me! Since May I’ve lost 6 inches, and the pain in my guts is almost totally gone. And I am not being THAT strict. I started with the fasting, and that has led me to a totally healthy eating like I thought I was before but was not. It seemed like last year my metabolism was totally shot. I was gaining weight and could not stop it. Now I am losing weight in a very healthy way, and my energy is improving everyday. Today truly felt like the first day of the rest of my life, as I spent the entire day outside in the garden, and then into the evening cleaning the garage for creating a potting area. I cannot believe I am getting back my life. I am telling everyone, truly, in March I had one foot in the grave. A fib, and they had to do a cardio version. And because my organs were so ill, so toxic, the meds only made me feel good for about a week, and then I was declining again. I knew I was going to die. Everything felt like it was shutting down. Lungs, gall bladder (stones), kidneys (stones), HEART. And the cardiologist was not addressing any of that. Neither was the G.P. So there you have it. THANK YOU FOR SAVING MY LIFE DR BERG!!!

Chicken livers and hearts are super great.
But make sure you eat only from chickens that are kept free range, non toxic areas. If fed grains, & fish meals and if kept in tight chemically sprayed areas do not eat these. It is wholly important that only healthy chickens are used for health. Remember you are what you eat. If you eat healthy you will be healthier. If you consume sprays, grains & fish meal, hormone injected hormones…. through your chickens this becomes a part of you.

Hi, Interesting. series. I’ve been following along. Can you tell us how much and when you take it and are you taking it with all the other supplements you’ve talked about. I’ve been on the niacin protocol for 3months and believe I have found the balance. I’ve also added d3 in the morning and the night time tryptophan. Sleep is still spotty and my energy level is still low. I know I have liver problems, so will add the choline if I knew how much and when. Thanks for your help.
