My gfr is approx 55 and my creatinine is 1.3 no other bad readings in my lipid panel. I take 2 tablespoons of ground flax seeds a day in my drinks. Is that a risk?
There is a need for Medicine to confer with Naturopaths. I am tired of this Red vs Blues in every type of discipline. They too have double blind studies. Yes Journals. So do Nutrition sciences. They too are intelligent. They too care. Foundations too. Stop this notion you know best and that your studies are superior. Some of us do not have diabetes nor obese nor high blood pressure. We are drinking bad water. Or not enough. Not moving enough. Eating too much sodium. We have to become ourselves our own monitors.
Amazing and very informative I’m going get mine tomorrow. Thank you a bunch
Hi one of my friend have CKD since last 6 years can we give spiritual and ganoderma in food supplements
Mayo should discuss Lee Hull’s book.. Stopping Kidney Disease. Many people seem to have success with it.
I recently was prescribed Magnesium Citrate Calcium as well as 1 tsp of ground flax seed.
A day to help my osteoporosis. And chronic constipation. I have a history of kidney stones. Are the above dietary supplements dangerous for me?
many drs. are totally against any form of supplement, unless it’s a drug where they make a profit…but the fact is, there are supplements proven in studies to be highly beneficial for kidney disease…coq10 for example…there are others…
here’s several ideas to try drink lots of water. eat watermelon this helps prevent kidney disease. try taking vitamin A and drink coconut water these can reduce kidney disease naturally. avoid meat, cucumber, radish and fizzy drinks. (I discovered these and the reasons they work on Jaylands Kidney Kit website )
Any update for stem cell cure kidney diesese are you listing
it’s not so much the foods or supplements that hurt the kidneys rather the 3 or 4 meals a day. eat one meal every 24 hours or 48 and give your body time to heal and recover and you will be fine.
Do you guys really take the time to do research why some get disease n some don’t.
In looking for info for my wife that has kidney problems i found this video to be absolutely useless. They talk around in circles and give no useful info other than the fact that you should stay away from potassium and phosphorous. Waste of time
I didn’t see any results from chitosan using so far. I had take it 3 weeks no improvement:/
The issue that is not discussed is the BS fillers and flow agents that is used in OTC, Rx, Supplement products. It’s the additives that I believe build “sediment” in your body. Do your research. Don’t buy mass produced supplements or OTC drugs, because this garbage is already in Rx that you can not avoid. Examples of items on the bottle that are simply filers, bleach, flow agents, synthetic or just the cheapest most reduced form of a vitamin: Food Coloring (FD&C Red has been tied to cancer), Silicon Dioxide, synthetic version of Vitamin E denoted by dl-alpha tocpheryl, Cupric Oxide, (downright HORRIBLE), Zinc Oxide (useless), ascorbic acid is NOT vitamin C (it;s also useless), folic acid (can’t be used by the body, get folate), titanium dioxide (yeah, that’s in there too!), soribitran, sorbitrol, mannitol which are all sugar alcohols all to be avoided. There are good supplements read labels!!!!!
Would you suggest to use this if you have Candida overgrowth/fungal infection?
I can’t speak for anyone else but the Chitosan I used it worked better than anything I’ve ever tried while losing weight.
It won’t have the same results for someone who just sits on their ass and is looking for a magic pill, a be-all-end-all weight loss miracle.
Who is the speaker and how is the chitosan prepared? I’m very interested to try oligochitosan but there’s nowhere to buy it.
