You people need to get Raw Non GMO capsules, not products that contain a lot of chemicals. NON GMO is very fresh n raw from real fruits

Beta Carotene does not increase cancer risk. However the methodology of the study was flawed for a few reasons. They used a low quality synthetic version of Beta Carotene and the amount of people in the study group was too large.
When there are too many people in a study group it leaves too much room for skewed and exaggerated results.
when i first became a vegan, i bought into the calcium deficiency myth and took calcium suppliments. started having angina, and immediately discontiued them. not surprised that other suppliments are harmful.

Supplements are always a bad option if you can get it in food instead.
Why is it that papaya products should not be used on the skin for up to roughly 2 hours before going into the sun (for some type of adverse reaction to the sunlight)? Is this an oddity with papaya? After all, shouldn’t I be able to smear beta-carotene oils over my skin as a type of sunblock?

Great message for health, eat a varied, balanced diet of whole plant foods rather than relying on supplements. My understanding is that the supplement industry is even more poorly regulated than the processed food industry.:-)
I am a vegan, but didn’t Dr Barnard just commit the appeal to nature fallacy? What exactly is natural given carrots nowadays may be very different to carrots many centuries ago due to selective breeding.
