The Diane WoD consists of: Complete one round of 21-15-9 reps for time: Score: Diane is scored “for time,” which means you complete the workout as fast as possible. As a beginner, you should aim to complete Diane in under 10 minutes. As you improve on this WOD, set your goal to complete in under 7 minutes. This is a fast-paced workout that should be done unbroken, or non-stop.

You have to be very fit for that. To get time under 7 minutes, you have to be fast on the rower. You should try to hold at least pace of 1:45/500m and about 1:35/500m if you aim for under 6 minutes.
Thrusters should be the most comfortable movement for you.

I don’t agree that DL and HSPU are TOTALLY different movements. DL gives us a strong kick in our lower back and it really can make HSPU hurts that area, if You arch your back while kipping 😉
Also on doing singles od DL a think that better idea is to do doubles. We can use some “bouncing” to make the second lift a bit easier 😉
This men is for sure powerfull, but the range of motion is near 0 on push-up, and the deadlift is incomplete. His arm are short, and the push-up are like 5cm for him compare to others.
i don`t think someone can do this faster!? Where can you win some time?

worst hspu I have ever seen, my god I practice crossfit but watching this just feels wrong
Coach Ben, for scaling the HSPU in this workout, do you have an opinion as to which scaling option is most efficient? I’ve been doing CrossFit for a year, and I still can only string up to three regular pushups together on my toes. For HSPUs, some coaches have me scale sitting on a box with only the upper body working to simulate a HSPU, others say it’s better to just do strict press with dumbbells. Maybe one doesn’t even matter over the other, I’m just always looking for a way to scale, but still have a good pace and not go over time domains.

Incredible speed by Dan but it seems like he didnt fully straighten out at the top for any if his deadlift reps. Atleast some if not all of those should have been no reps. Shame on his judge

To me the only reason I don’t do “official” crossfit is the cultish mentality of some practitioners.
I really liked that instead of bashing Crossfit he explained why it has a bad rep.. and explained that it’s not terrible unless you are uneducated, and if you don’t listen to a professional/ coach you will injure yourself.
they slowed down all of his reps, every rep that was taken away (which he had six failed reps) was taken away and the rest of his reps met full hip ext.
Only one more month for me to start going to gym. Now im just trying to lose weight and reach my goals.
