0:50 Those aren’t kicks. It’s just moving your leg. Those aren’t even leg raises.
Hey just wondering what level your injury is. I’m a T3 and was hoping to do some of these exercises. I guess I should just get out and try. I’ve just been injured 2 years and I really need to lose quite a bit.
THANK YOU!!!! For helping us seniors who need exercise but have very limited mobility. PLEASE-MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My mom went into nursing home in March 2018 due to falls at home and after a year and a half nursing home staff has made her stuck to the wheelchair and it’s so hard for her to even stand. I want her to walk again.
Thanks. I”ve still not managed to take off.
I need to strengthen my lats and rhomboids. What do you recommend?
Just wondering if you could design a workout for weight loss for wheelchair users? These are great for very severe disabilities but won’t work for weight loss. It’d be great if you had any ideas for cardio work outs.
Great vid! Thank you from the states on behalf of my family!!
I really hope you see this but is there any exercise that a person who is paralysed and can’t straighten their legs can do?
Great video:) My mother had several strokes and it has left her unable to walk, so im going to start practicing some of these in hopes she can walk again:)
Love it! I was in the hospital for 4 months last year and have been unable to walk since. Not getting anywhere with my insurance recommended therapists nor did I with a month in a local physical rehabilitation hospital so I am seeking my own alternate methods. Best of luck to you all.✌❤️
Hi. In wheelchair have big thighs need to rid this what can I do
Yeah! Fantastic! I’ve been trying to find something like this for ages!
Just…. Can you edit it to put the theme tune on…
I’m so happy that I found this video! I found out a few minutes ago that I have osteoporosis and I love the chair leg exercises seeing as though I am paralyzed. So thank you so much for posting this. I’m looking forward to doing these exercises every day from now on.
my dad’s vastus medialis on both leg keeps on twitching whenever he forces to move. what could that be? he had a stroke a year ago.
C-4 quad this is useless! Do some REAL therapy for REAL problems………
If you’re in a wheelchair and can’t move them because of paralysis then how do you do them exercises?? Absolute jokers
Hey Andrew, great video however full neck rotation is not healthy for your C-spine and is no longer recommended. Do half rotations instead.
I made it through this whole video today. this is a good video. thank you.
I like this very much as suffer from arthritis and have become very stiff, going to try this everyday, thank you Bob & Brad
Is there a diet that will help also that you know of? Thanks
When you live in bed or a wheelchair many years it’s easy to get stiff muscles that become contracture. Stretching doesn’t seem to help, but is there any way to slowly reverse it?
i cant up mu hand i muscular distrophy patent..you can help me sir
Anybody have neuropathy in legs and back that makes exercise more challenging?
Hello I found this video whilst searching to help my elderly wheelchair bound Aunt. She has shoulder impingement issues do you have a video posted that could perhaps help her please?
Thanks in advance.
I have suffered this disability that kept me in the bed a lot, and seated a lot.. now I suffer from low energy and tightness.
I’m glad I found your videos I’m sure it’s going to help me thank you.
Great workout. Looks simple and is, but it hits the spot and challenges you. I have a form of muscular dystrophy and this is a good workout that you can gauge your own ability levels but still push yourself. Thanks for sharing.
cant do it.. i dont have balance if im not leaning my back on anything.. and i cant anchor my feet to the floor..
That’s great for people in his condition but what about those there are paralyzed from the chest down what do we do?
I am a quadriplegic. Peace. I am looking for quadriplegic exercise for belly tone. I believe talking about diet is a good topic too. I like helping everyone too. Unable to do most things I can see how others can get physically fit if they are willing. I am a Christian too. It is like preaching and teaching. As I help others I try to practice it as well. I find it most difficult when the diet is not healthy. Life is not easy nor health. I can’t wait till Jesus returns, but as I wait I work out to keep my vitals strong.
this is wonderful! I have spina bifida and I have struggled with keeping weight off and strengthening my core. I do have a question. How much does the ball weigh? How much resistance is the band?
I don’t have hand function and can’t really grip…how would I hold the kettle ball in the first exercise…or what would I improvise with?
Nice I really like these! I had broken hip surgery a month ago and was looking for ab work to do from my wheelchair. Can’t exactly do crunches right now and I’m feeling pretty pudgy. Thank you for sharing!
Awesome and greatly appreciated during isolation time. I usually go to the Lazarus house in Houston (a.org) for disabled exercise (everyone dealing with a chronic debilitating issue). We have a web exercise plan, but this adds to that and goes deeper for my situation. Thank you so so much
Thank you for doing this! I am paralyzed from the waist down and this is at the top of what I can do.
A change I make if my back is hurting is I scoot out then lean back. That way it’s still a good workout but I don’t annoy my arthiritis.
i do believe high paras and quads have some stomach muscles as I have done some recents SCI studies, even found out i had some working pelvic floor muscles, Had I known this back in 1985 when i was injured i would of worked on this. It’s not too late though, when i do try to work core muscles i also do some visualization, picture all the core muscles working, you should or could do this for all muscle groups, i do believe it helps. really am enjoying your workout videos during this pandemic thanks alot Ben
I’m not in a wheelchair but I just got surgery on my foot and can’t walk so I need to stay fit thank you
Thank you for helping me feel in control of my body. I’m doing them tonight.
Any ab exercises for an incomplete C4/C5 quad? I understand we don’t have muscle there but this quad belly is driving me crazy. Lol
After I hurt my knee I was so sad because I thought I wouldn’t find any fun excercise videos, but I believers that someone out there must have made a great seated workout… And then I found yours!! Thank you so much, you’ve really changed my attitude! You’ve changed at least this life.
This is amazing. I only lasted 17 minutes but I loved every second of it. I haven’t worked out since I found out I was going to be a double amputee. Today is 2 weeks since my amputation and I’ve been so depressed. But not anymore. Thank you Paul.
notice how the man showing the exercises get his legs out of the wheelchair to stabilize himself for the exercise.
I don’t feel these in my core I mostly feel them in my shoulder am I doing it wrong?
I have SB and I am 50% wheelchair and 50% walk with cane/AFO’s what workouts are helpful for losing the belly?
So what if you have a higher level injury I’m a t 6 incomplete?
great job Ben,,,,,,,,,ANYONE can do these…while seated………..build muscle strength with Ben:)
I have ridiculously active muscle spasms, is there anything I can do about them not trying to do Kung fu kicks while doing these workouts lol?

Thank you!! I have a spinal cord injury and this is what I’ve been needing. Keep up the good work.
I’m a t11 complete paraplegic. Will these exercises help get my tummy flat.?
How heavy was the ball in the vid? I’m going to buy myself a medicine ball bu wondering what weight…
There need to be more video & content creators like you. The very few Videos I’ve seen on fitness+disability have been made by non-disabled people, typically characterize them as a weird self-sacrificing burden to deal with or inspiration porn—(your problems ain’t so bad, look at them!) both of which are super harmful to actual disabled people. And do Nothing to look at the realities disabled people contend with. So rock on, awesome, fitness is More important for disabled people & theres a Major lack of access. Having a disability is an Asset & it makes you think way more creatively & not give up after one tiny thing doesn’t go perfectly/easily, like many people do. /fellow disabled person.
Glad I found this channel, after spending 4 years in and out of hospital, I want to get my fitness back on track. Glad to find thia
I’m so glad I found your video. I broke my ankle in July and I have been very depressed…I’m overweight and eating like crap on top of it. In just a very short time I have gained quite a bit of weight. While watching your video, I did the exercises at 1:42am but without weights and balls…let me tell you, I am so out of shape after 25 of pretending I was throwing the ball against the wall I was breathing heavy. So, thanks because tomorrow I start taking better care of myself
Oh then thats a good weight, just do alot of reps especially to fatigue. These will get your muscles more defines/cut, but dont think its going to be effective in losing weight. For effective weight loss, its about some form of cardio and proper diet
I do this stuff all the time. I’ll get 1000 steps in 10 minutes by moving arms. Great videos…
My 86 year old Mom is sidelined from her usual dancing and singing by bone on bone hip deterioration, waiting at this uncertain time for her hip replacement. One must exercise. We found your workouts online and she loves them. I join in too because I have a problem rotator cuff and can gently do these exercises also. Thank you so much! I took a photo of her working out to your videos but can’t post it here. Cheers.
Not done any exercise since my neuro rehab last year (May 2019), really glad I found a place to start off again. Thanks dude!
This was hard for me but I feel great after. Im so grateful I found you. I needed this!
I have been a quadriplegic since 1996. You are pretty fit. I’d like to see you work with them that are out of condition as quads. It is not easy to lose weight or muscle tension. I think I have a routine but need to cut back on technology and unhealthy diets. I work out and listen to the Bible. I try to get out and workout and meditate to get fresh air. The Father God and Lord Jesus watches us. God bless!
Cool I’m definitely going to try these exercises in my power wheelchair
Thank you Paul with big smile ..I have MS.. Day1 of exercise session done by following your video..had fun working out..it’s rejuvenating
I’ve just discovered this video and I love it! It’s really good for me (spinal cord injury paraplegic). Love the spirit and the smile factor, too. Thanks a zillion!
I’m smiling and hurting at the same time trying to keep up. I’m so glad I found you. This is better than my physical therapy.
when you’re lifting your arms you should say “caw!” “caw!” like a raven. Just kidding, it’s a great workout! Especially considering that you don’t require any equipment and it can be done anywhere. Thanks!
Value added. I have tried all different YouTube exercises for physical challenged without any sense of future commitment. This exercises are well explained and excellent presented. This will become part of my daily exercise regime
I got hurt at the gym 2 weeks ago when I wasn’t able to work out and the doctor told me to stay off my nee so I bumped into your video and I was really impressed and I liked it and God bless you my friend thank you
This was an awesome workout! And such amazing energy! Thank you ☺️
I have a very rare disease and lost the ability to walk and I have a product. It can do multiple things from riding and handbike and turning it over and peddling a bike and then be used for many things like use for a labtop, working out, and you can use as a regular table for playing games or eating. And it is portable for inside or out, Please reach out to me and it is the only one like it. It is patent protected and I have a design patent my email is [email protected] gmail.com thank you
These workouts are great, ive been working out from the chair for years and figured most of it out already, but I wish i had this when I was like 15! good work:)
Great videos man! I have recently been finding my way back to the gym and your videos have helped. Do you mind me asking what level your injury is?
Thank you for your kindness and doing this for people in wheelchairs I’m 60 this year Iv be disabled since I was 51 and have been semi house bound for 9 years I get out of breath so much more now I’m older because I’m not doing anything but I can do this and it might not be much to some but it is a lot to me lol how many times a day can I do it ie morning and night or is that to much thanks anyway brother good on you I will speak your name on to all I can good on you Ben very grateful to be honest I’d rather do mine with you ie this video on u tube otherwise I’ll cheat lol lol
Been stuck without equipment since hurricane Irma. Was Looking for something to adapt. This is great. I should have known (30+ years in chair) but with everything going on forgot. Anyone can do these! Even me with 3 tears in my rotator cuff. Thank you!

I have MS and I can’t walk anymore.. This is the first workout that I’ve found that I actually enjoy doing, that gets my heart pumping and doesn’t have exercises that I can’t do. At the moment I have to take a break halfway through but it makes me feel good. Thank you so much for this.
I love you, you are sooo full of energy, I love that! Keep it up!
I’ve been in a wheel chair sunset June 2015 after a trip to Walmart where I stood too long in line. I was using a cane since 3/2015 when I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis. I just woke up one morning and my legs wouldn’t support my body weight. After physical therapy lots of Bloodwork and many exrays I was given physical therapy and by June 2015 I was walking slower without the cane until I went to Walmart. One Dr told me to just WALK! Another doctor said I needed more confidence and none of them could tell me why the lower right side of my back my right leg and right buttocks hurt and trembled and went weak when I try to put my body weight on it. They all looked at the Xrays and look at me as if I am faking. Then I received a phone call from a woman selling back braces and I told her my situation wondering if a brace would even help and after listening to me she said the reason it doesn’t show up on the Xrays is because siatica doesn’t show up on Xrays it’s the nerves and she described exactly what I goe through just like the pictures online points them out. This video is very helpful when I move my head back and forth it feels like a bunch of tight sore muscles on the right side of my back. Thank you so much for this video
I wasn’t sure how I was going to workout, after finding out I needed a wheelchair few days months ago. Till i stumbled across your page I wanted to say thank you so much for your content. Makes me feel more normal again
This is so much fun i have MS and found these exercises easy to do. It left me tired but with a smile on my face as i felt i had achieved something
Great I am in a wheelchair and looking to do the same. I do clubbercise and hiit seated work but these look fab. What are the balls and is it kettlebells? How often do you go to the gym?
Your energy is amazing! Thank you for showing us this!
I’m lucky to not be forever in a wheelchair, but my current disability restricts me to laying down and sitting most of the day. I need to get out of my head, that I can get a good workout in without using my legs and I don’t have to swim for every cardio workout either!
Did this today with some 1.5 kg dumbells my god it almost killed me
Been looking for a legit workout due to me not being able to stand long. Love this guys energy and workout!!!!!
I’m very happy to find the wheel chair work out it’s pretty amazing thank you.
This has been fantastic during lockdown for a member for my family who is paraplegic. Thank you!
I have a rotator cuff injury and SPMS thanks for sharing bud
Thank you! I’m not in a wheelchair but am limited to mostly sitting and laying down most of the day. I need this.
I’m 40 and been in a wheelchair for 6 years due to herniated discs, compression fractures, and spinal cancer. This is great! Wish I found this years ago. It’s a little hard for me because I also have shoulder issues but don’t give up easy. Thank you for a much needed video.
Hi Mary Ann! thank you for the video! It helps to see other people in chairs, living life!
Thanks for this. We’re in the UK and my mum is self isolating due to covid19 and is a wheelchair user. She’s missing the gym so this looks perfect.
I’m healing from a shattered kneecap and this workout is helping me prepare my core for physical therapy. Thank you so much, keep up the hard work!
Hello I’m also in a wheelchair and I’m trying to lose weight any tips on what I can do far as eating and exercising my?
I am in a wheelchair and love this workout. My heart is pumping and I feel really energized even after a little of the workout. Thank you so much, Mr. Eugene.
This has been absolutely fantastic for me while recovering from a lower body surgery. Thanks so much!! Amy
This is AWESOME. I only did 50% my first try and man do I feel it. I’m going to implement this workout into my weekly schedule. Thank you so much for this boss.
I’ve got siatica in my leg and I’m not in a wheel chair all the time but I cant always stand up as my leg will just go. I’m so happy I cam across this and to know I can still workout even if some days I can’t stand. thank you
Could you send me your email addresss, to discuss some issues with you.
I can’t get myself to enter the gym but looks like I can do most of these at home
I’m a T5 para, no way I can sit that straight and lift ball without falling over. It doesn’t look like the guy performing the exercise is really paralyzed. Don’t think this would work for most paras or quads.
First of all congratulations first on getting active and the weight loss. Second, fantastic video. Love your energy and happiness. I don’t use a wheel chair as of now but have friends that do. I do have gout and need to use crutches. I was tired and bored believing I could not exercise. Then I thought… daaaah just modify exercises so I can. I found your video and can hardly wait to share it with my friends in wheel chairs and maybe do some workout sessions with them. In the mean time it’s time to get to my gym (garage) and get creative, active, and kill the excuses! Thank you!!!!!
I am absolutely living for this video!!! I’m an athlete and i recently broke both my tibia and and fibula rendering me unable to train for rugby or lift heavy. This video is saving me. Your positive energy makes my heart so happy and is making recovery bearable.
Great workout! I broke my leg and had to have surgery and a bone graft. I am off my feet for a good 9 weeks. This workout got the blood pumping and your personality made it fun. Thank you!
These exercises have really helped my core! But my Phisio would like me to stretch my ecentric quads to assist in my follow through in my walking training. I have a problem between T10 & T12. Thank you for any exercise recommendations and please keep the videos coming they really help! Helen

I did some of the work out and I think its great, had surgery on my right foot, and must stay off of it and can only work out one arm. so ya these are pretty good, I can use my other arm is it is not to hard.
Your workout session was really enjoyable I appreciated every bit of it tbh
This is so inspiring. About a couple of years ago, I lost almost all mobility in my legs, and I have just let myself go. I was so active but with the loss of mobility I’ve become so depressed. I decided its time for a life change, and watching this gets me so pumped and ready to start getting back in the game and losing all this weight I’ve gained! Thank you so much.
I’ve looked for and tried a lot of wheelchair workouts, but yours are probably my favorite. They’ve become a weekly (that is, one video for almost every day of the week) routine for me!
Hello Mary, this video has really struck my interest. Im overweight and have been basically the majority of my life so i find this very helpful and i shall start doing this workout thanks so much!
Hello,
Your session is incredible. I don’t understand English, but that doesn’t stop me from following all the exercises. Finally someone who offers a full session, thank you for the energy and the good mood you bring.
Am t6 complete n i dont have the balance for any of these workouts any ideas
I HATE the term: Wheelchair Bound! I am not Wheelchair Bound. I use a Wheelchair. I am not Wheelchair Bound. I can transfer in and out of my Wheelchair. I can go wherever I please, in my Wheelchair. If you can leave your Wheelchair, in any way, you are not Wheelchair Bound! You just use a Wheelchair. So, please stop saying that!
I’ll recently fall in my bathroom and disclocated my spine,I am so sad that I cant do simple exercise until I find your video,Its So fun when you laugh i’ll laugh too.Thank youu
If a person cannot balance herself without support, how does she do this? If she sits forward, she will lose balance and fall. Please advise
Execekent video Paul. I support people with Acquired Brsin Injury. Many of my residents are Wheelchair Bound and they love your exercise. You area blessing.
WOW I need to practice my (air, I would never punch a living being unless 100% needed in self defense) punches!
you need “heavy hands” and therabands. This is for slow pokes.
Hello
I am a new subscriber and do to a fall in July am unable to walk so I definitely need to exercise.
Paul! Awesome workout! I’m going to add weights to some of these moves? I notice you are going non-stop. Should we rest somewhere between sets?
Paul, thank you so much for this fun and energetic workout. I’m temporarily w/c bound and this is just what I needed. Love your energy. Really appreciated here inValrico Florida.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! That was fun! Please do more!
Thank you very much! I’ve been looking for some workout routine for my dad and this is very helpful. Please make more videos like this. X
For a paraplegic like me T9, T10 injury point and sensory level at T7 this is something I already do every day is cardio pushing my own weight up inclines and way more active than most I guess. Not for me I guess.
I have MS and can not walk anymore and this workout took me back to the good old days!!! Thank you so much for your energy, spirit, and SMILE:)! This routine is a great way to start the day.
I am at C-7 quadriplegic in a wheelchair due to an car accident. I really enjoy this wheelchair fitness exercise workout. I try to workout every day. I can’t wait for your second wheelchair fitness exercise workout.
Brilliant workout. I feel energised and enthusiastic about exercise for the first time in a while
I have a question. I have some 2/3 and 5 pound weights that I use for my exercises that I do at home because I only go to therapy once a week can I use those I mean can I use those for these exercises because it’s almost like the same thing and I also have some tension bands
Ok fuck of I have small brittle bones and extreme muscle weakness so yes an exuse
Rhank u im not in a wheelchair but I can’t stand for long periods of this really helped
You are a very positive person. I am very happy. I have done these exercises from today but I want to ask you. I have fat arms. Do these exercises help in their weakness? How many times a day do these exercises and every day or what?????
Thank you so much I see you from Iraq and aim disabled because of spinal cord injury I cannot move my feet i need more exercise from you please for my case
You’re awesome. You’re an inspiration. Thank you for this workout. I may steal bits of it, if you don’t mind:)
Great work out! I love this guy and his energy. He gets me pumped!
Great video. I like these guys because they pay attention to the patient and how much he can do (or not do). By the way, I am presently in a wheelchair and have weak legs. I also have a YouTube channel of my rehabilitation videos at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCU-YeV-Pb8HRXG9a9pgKMkA?view_as=subscriber
Paul, this video has helped me get my heart rate up and experience a new kind of work out as a c5-7 quad. My core is getting stronger, my arms are getting stronger, and my endurance has improved vastly. Please make another. I am on a weight loss journey, and you are making a difference. I feel better about myself already.
I needed this workout so much. When I exercise standing I get weak and have to quit after just a few mins. Did the entire routine and feel great. Love your spirit. Keep up the good work
Brilliant workout, had a huge smile on my face all the way through and I’m filled with the feel great factor.
Thanks Paul your a star!! ✨
Thanks so much for this. I’m T9, middle aged and not very fit but I can do this and will work up to your harder work outs in time. It is so hard to find decent exercise videos for people in wheelchairs so thanks for making a real difference!
Thanks for using the only Dea5maus song I know. But it seems to me that you have working stomach muscles

Ehh you can fuck right off with the ‘no excuses’ crap. How dare you try to make disabled people feel even more terrible about themselves. I’ve no idea why you’re in a wheelchair but my limbs pop out and other joints any chance they get. Not everyone is making excuses you utter dick of a person.
Thanks, i tore my left thigh and was sad because the doctor said i can’t exercise in 2 weeks, but we with this now i can at least work with my upper body till i recover
You motivate a lot! Thanks!!! You’re so great and strong! Putting a mirror in front of you could be even better for you, couldn’t they? Go on, please you’re inspriational, so, so much! Be blessed! You’re a gift for us! Watch this, too, if you like:

! lt’s great, too!
I just completed this energizing workout. I thought it’d be sort of slow paced….the lie detector determined that was a lie!!! This was one of the best chair workouts I have ever done and I’ve done loads of them. To increase the burn, I used weights without hyper-extending my arms, fantastic. Keep doing you thing Paul Eugene!! Remain a blessing.

I’m in wheel chair and i can pull up myself and the chair attached to my back:)
I am thanking Jesus He found you for me, I have been getting depressed because my knee is in so much pain, I haven’t been able to do chair exercises because they use the legs, it’s so painful…I was praying about it and I know the Holy Spirit sent you to me…this was a better workout then the chair ones!! You have me sweating, and I never sweat like this with the chair workouts…keeping my stomach and thighs tight the whole time…thank you so much!!! My spirit has been lifted…I will see you tomorrow!!
Why you messing with your phone will you drive it kills people ffs
Ghaha.. well there is still an excuse:
I have a disorder called EDS, which causes me to rip muscles/tendons with every movement I make. So yeah, exercize is not for everyone…
I love you! I hurt my leg and can’t do my usual routine. I was pretty bummed. This cheered me RIGHT up! You don’t have to walk to dance!
Thank you for putting this up, being in a wheelchair is hard enough, but finding exercises is even harder. These exercise are they to lose weight exercises or just fitness exercises? either i am happy with
I m a 54 year old woman from east Asia. Have been in depression for so long. Thank you Allah for showing me this video. Luv this girl. You are such a beautiful girl, body and soul. I have no excuses to wallow in my depression and let my body rot to death. May Allah bless u, girl, always.

Mary Ann you go girl that’s what’s up!!!! You keep encouraging and inspiring other people to do the same you look good you’re blessed keep moving forward every single day I am my 56 year I’ve been wheelchair-bound for 12 years my life change 12 years ago walking all my life and then becoming hate this work disabled but I’m nothing like that word when your life changes overnight there’s only two options lay down and die or keep it moving!!!! The blessing in my situation I’m not paralyzed so that gives me a lot more leverage to do more trust me I had my pity parties but once I seen myself gaining weight looked in the mirror one day and didn’t like what I was seeing because of atrophy laws if you don’t use it he will definitely lose it so with that said I’ve been working out at Planet Fitness since 2015 Faithfully 3 days a week sometimes 4 days a week Faithfully I’ve owned my situation and I’ve mastered it now I’m Beast loved your video I will definitely be working out with you
These look like ideal exercise to even do at home huge thanks for making the vids! One question that I have, is: are there any tips you have for keeping a flat back? I have a kyphotic deformity (because I didn’t have fixation surgery following breaking my back, which in turn has meant that I’ve developed lordosis/anterior pelvic tilt, thins I’d like to keep my eye on/reverse if possible…but; I do have to be careful with my back. For reference I am in the region of T10 complete.
Question. I was in a wheelchair after breaking my ankle. it seems I lost core strength. now I have back problems after being out of the chair.I can;t walk for very long before my back will cramp. is this the core ore the way I walk now because of the ankle?
Please make. More. Of them.
. I really want to. Learn and do… Them. For. Myself.
i only have 2kg weights, i dont have anything lighter, do i still inrease the repetitions if i want to lose weight as well

Anyone have any ideas 4 me 2 do?
Please post more workout vids! You look amazing and these are so much more attainable workouts than the WBCC videos!! Thank you so much for making this channel!
THANK YOU…I see that in later years as your popularity increased wheelchair, limited mobility videos decreased. SAD!
too bad you have very little vidoes on workouts, would have loved to see more.
I have been searching & searching for a video I could exercise to without a lot of adjustments. Thank you so much! ♥ Do you have just the 2 wheelchair videos?
Great video you may want to try a rower with concept2 that you can buy a piece so legs stay but you exercise your core back and arms.
I become wheelchair bound and unable to walk I am 28yrs after having my gallbladder removed April 14th I woke up unable to walk since I became wheelchair bound and unable to walk I have ganied 40lbs I am going to try and do these it’s hard to do much living in a nursing home
I can’t do the rotation exercises, but I can do the others. You’re an inspiration to all of us in w/chs. Thanks, for motivating me!!!
Nice. Thanks for the tips. I’m in a wheelchair as well. Trying to get/stay in shape.
@ 4:11, He is starting off with 8, and counting down. However, He is counting every OTHER lift. like 2,4,6. INSTEAD OF 1 2 3 4. So, you are actually doing DOUBLE than what he is counting! I noticed this right away. =)
I’m not in a wheelchair, but I do suffer from scoliosis-related pain. Thanks for encouraging me to find alternative ways to get healthy!
You have an awesome vibe! Keep up the good work like this
You video is really inspiring. I work for WooGlobe, UK based video licensing company. Please visit our website to submit this video or email us at sell (.at. ) wooglobe (.dot. )com, we have a great proposition for your video we’d like to discuss. Thanks.
No seatbelt on in the car? No amount of gym work will save you if you smash through the windscreen.
I’m a BKA amputee in a wheelchair. Yes its my fault that I’ve lying in bed all this time not being active. I get easily motivated with 20th Century power music like KISS-Calling Dr. Love, Wings-Listen To What the Man Said, Helen Wheels, along with Instrumentally motivating music and the like etc. I hope someday, I could move to the next level of using the walker to get around. Still looking!
Hey thank you for some great workout tips! Ive neglected the medicine ball for years. Im gonna give this a shot for sure!
Absolutely fantastic! Uv given me motivation to get back to the gym after 14yrs of just sitting around. I’m Claire n i’m a 43yr old n T4 complete but it’s time to change to wen I was a fit 25yr old. Thank you u look fabulous xx
Hey, I’m also a paraplegic.. I’m T7. I was a huge athlete. I always worked out! Seeing you do what your doing makes me see that I should be able to do it as well. Hopefully we can continue conversation because you are a inspiration. Thank you!!

Not para but hope it’s ok to watch and learn. Planning long-awaited ankle surgery for a congenital ligament situation that’s kept me off my feet like I used to be, and wanting to get back ripped again. This was inspiring! It’s like you say… no excuses!

Hi there! I wanted to give you props on your hard work.. I need to find motivation to get out to a gym but wondered where u live?? If geographically possible r u open to taking on someone to accompany u to a workout?
The work you guys are doing is really amazing. I work for WooGlobe, UK based video licensing company. Please visit our website to submit this video or email us at sell (.at. ) wooglobe (.dot. )com, we have a great proposition for your video we’d like to discuss. Thanks.
I’m also in a wheelchair and I’m a college student. I just started going to the gym last semester because I felt like, well, I’m paying for it. The hardest thing was feeling like everyone was looking at me thinking “what’s she doing here?”. I kind of get weird looks from the townies but never from fellow students. One of my friends even went with me once to teach me how to use the rowing machine. I’ve gotten so into it, I had no idea how much I would enjoy working out and how good it makes me feel. Not only does it make me feel good physically, I live for that hour each day that is 100% about me and no one else. It’s so relaxing and just such a great thing to do. I encourage anyone to start working out no matter what your abilities are.
OMG, I have an imbalance problem and I use a wheelchair, I just did 8 min of this to see what this is all about. This is absolutely awesome! Paul Eugene, I think I love you! Thank you so much.
I’m so glad I came across this video i’m a T6 para and I want to get out more and drop a few pounds but I’ve been intimidated about going to the gym cause I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to use any of the equipment besides free weights
This workout has been the highlight of my morning in recovery from foot surgery. Thank you!
Thank you! thank you! Paul for these wheelchair user workouts… I’m in a wheelchair and I’ve been searching for exercises to stay fit and active.
Thanks so much! I’ve been searching for this video, but it seemed to have found me! Lol
Just found your video. My patient is in a wheelchair and loves your video. Thank you for doing this type of video.
Good video, i have spina bifida and also use a wheelchair, and I’m getting a bit overweight, I’m probably not for an able bodied man, but being a short arse the weight shows more lol. I’m at about 160 pounds now and want to get down to around 140, or preferably turn the fat into muscle and do the best I can to make myself look like a wheelchair version of Arrows Stephen Amell lol.. I do have a problem doing it though, and that is that as well as spina bifida I have a condition called Arnold Chiari Malformation which basically means that the fluid around my brain doesn’t move around as much as it should and builds up, a result of it is that if I move too fast or strain, as you would when doing weight training etc it can give me severe headaches for a minute or two each time, sometimes worse, I got one just from coughing not long ago and it was really bad. so I would have to disagree a bit, sometimes there are excuses.
Great video. You are so inspiring. Hope you are still working out so hard.
Thanks for Being calm a lot of people put horrible music on their videos and then claim it’s wheel chair exercises and add moving legs.
Thank you Andrew, this is exactly what you called it, JUMPSTART!! There are circumstances that don’t allow people to go to the gym and it does not have anything to do with having $10 or whatever the cost maybe, some people cannot go because of transportation issues etc. and for the person who thinks this is wacked….I disagree, you lift what you can ad let others do what they can. Thanks again Andrew for posting this video that I believe can be helpful to many, you pace these exercises very well and it fits the needs of beginners!!
hi i started this yesterday and i love it i have ms and obese so this is great for me is there any exercise for my balance please as very unbalanced when standing even with my rotaltor is there any sitting down that could help strengthen my legs thanks so much dee
To all those that strive for mobility despite limitations, you are amazing. You are dealing with shit hardcore awesome!
For people with Less movement try!

To all those saying it’s super hard to exercise from a wheelchair I disagree, I’m a T6-T7 para of 20 years and I go the gym and use the nautilus machines there. I know the video is motivating but people with a high level injury can’t just grab barbells up and start pushing them over their head unless they weight like 5lbs or less, we just don’t have the stability or balance…most of us would fall flat on our face if we was trying to build any real muscle and tried to curl anything over 25-35lbs without being strapped in. (unless you get onto the sit down preacher curl) This guy can obviously lock his body into place by using his legs and his core, something paras and quads don’t have the luxury of. Get into a gym, strap yourself onto a bench and have a friend hand you the weights, the straps will keep you from falling forward, or leaning to the left or right. Do some cable rows, use the lat machine…I understand that this is for people at home, I just wanted to get the information out there that not all chair users will benefit from this, but kudos to those that do.
Gymboss app really made a difference for me.
Weighted vests are good for training.
Love your gripping gloves! Swinging hooks are useful too if you want to lift more without crushing your fingers:)
Your videos are absolutely amazing and entertaining!!!! I don’t even need to put my headphones on. Your videos transmit so much energy it makes makes me happy. THANK YOU SO MUCH Eugene:)
Hey, I am a wheelchair bound teen and I am borned like this….so I was looking for some fitness..
And it really helped me…THANKS ALOT
Thank you Paul Eugene! My favorite workout yet…you got my heart racing!!
I have been searching You Tube for a video on strength training. I have painful neuropathy in my feet and need to stay seated while exercising. Your video is perfect! It follows what I have read and learned about weight training and doing it properly. Your video not only benefits people in wheelchairs but others as well. Thanks, I hope you do more videos.
Thanks so much,I will exercise to this video every other day.
this is helping a lot i just started doing this today. my mom was happy to see me exercise. thank u for putting this up to help us who r in wheelchairs.
Thanks fot posting this video! I’ve been in a wheelchair for a few years npt haven’t done alot of excercising. My goal is to watch this video everyday till I can do the whole 29 minutes video. Today I was pn;y able to get to the 12:47 before burning out!
I haven’t been able to walk for 6 months. I can do these exercises without weights, so I’ll just increase every day. Do you have an out of the chair series? These are a big help.
THANK U for this video. I have have been put in a wheelchair due to a back injury and can’t have surgery till I lose some weight but I’m on a steroid and it causes weight gain plus no moment doesn’t help either. But I’ve been given a go ahead to do any exercises sitting in my chair as long as I don’t twist. I can do these! Thank u!
Thank you for this. While we’re in the house, I really need to be working out.
Thank you!!!! I was wanting a trainer just like you with your motivating energy. I’ve been injured and appreciate this so much. Thank you!!! You’re amazing, and motivating, and I’m a new subscriber!!
the weights i am using are approx 2kg. i dont have any smaller. if i still increase the number of repittions will i still lose weight as well as fitness?
Hey no problem, you’re very welcome. To respond to your question, this was designed just for fitness. However, if you want to lose weight with these exercises you can decrease the weight amount, and increase the number of repetitions/time to really get sweating and toned.
Thanks for the inspiration I’m in a wheelchair my self since birth
tnx alot for long and easy exercises for wheelchair users, ive bow legs, so i cant walk until the recovery after proceeding the surgery, so now im practicing some wheelchair exercises, and i found your video is really great, keep it up the good works
Thank you so much for doing these videos. im wheelchair bound, im not able to move my legs. Im desperate to lose weight and having to exercise with you will help, so thank you.
Yea its the same video, but I dubbed over the original audio, so that it would be easier and clearer to hear. I hope its not too out of sync
@megamale1000
Im going to make more videos, but just exercise in general. Even if its not focused on people in wheelchairs, they can still do some workouts with the upper body videos I make
Good job, Mary Ann! I’m going to add these to my wheelchair workout! You are right! No excuses!
Awesome. Thank you so much for doing these. It is super hard to find exercise workouts for chair users.
