OK, here’s a Youtube vid that gives some info around NMN & methylation (this guys has some good vid’s on this so watch them)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cVGO8hMACTg
And here’s another where someone explains NMN & methylation
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z7lyGJg0DnU
Now as an additional note, maybe I am reading you wrong but I think you need a little something in addition. Try taking between 600-900mg of Ashwagandha daily. It will take a few weeks but you just might find your spirit and energy improving.
One other comment to your vid mentioned your age being a bit young for this stuff which is rather true unless you’re say 40+. You can still benefit at a lesser age but not so noticeably. Plus the younger you are the less you should take. 500mg at 50 seems for the people I now to be about the average of what works. and like 300mg for 40.. 45 comes in around 450mg… but these numbers are somewhat arbitrary where the people I know have tried multiple dose amounts multiple ways until they finally settle on the mg numbers I jjust gave you. Also, for say a 50 year old, it would be say 3 separate doses that add up to a total of 500mg and the lest dose definitely no later than 3 PM. or preferably before 3 PM or you’ll mess up your sleep… And if you have watched the videos I gave you, you’ll want to take 500-1000mg TMG (or methyl folate & methyl B12) for cautionary purposes…and let that NMN dissolve under the tongue..
i am loving the color you are wearing. You look fresh and pretty
Thanks for your video. I took nmn and resveratrol and experienced a pain in my liver which led me to do more research. Eventually I stopped taking the supplements. Be careful and pay attention to the way your body reacts to supplements.
anazing…this is huge…one product i saw in INDIA along with this was simply wow on health…BOVINE COLOSTRUM
I wish, some would give more info. About the srituons,sp, didnt know sirt1, what it did, what do the others do,??
It’s not a paradox. Industry hires lobbyists to bribe the politicians that appoint the heads of the FDA and USDA that set the medical guidelines that your doctor has to follow to keep from getting sued and losing his license so that industry can make more money to hire more lobbyists… to brainwash Americans into believing that saturated fats are bad for you, when it’s actually the Mazola, Crisco, margarine and all the other artificial crap we can food that is weakening your arteries that cholesterol has to patch.
So true! that’s why here in Philippines we have a Lean n’ green resveratrol juice…really good for our immune system and had a lot of health benefits..my baby drinks it too…that’s why…am selling it too
I alternate between alpha lipoic acid and resveratrol, during the week.
Hi Naomi. I love your channel. Taking your advice and looking at the trans-resveratrol I bought to see how it stacks up… It is Trans with added polyphenols, like green tea and grape seed extract. But, most concerning was the source, which is “Polygonum cuspidatum root extract standardized to 50%.” After looking up the scientific name for Japanese Knotweed, I’m pleased to see it’s a match. Not sure what the standardization part means though. I think your video is valuable, but I’m not sure what to conclude. My product is from Purest Vantage. What product have you found and would you think it’s substantially different? Thank you ;-).
I resveratrol 2000mg a day and feel fantastic, but I am not sure which one of the supplements/drugs I am taking is doing it I am kind of like a human lab rat. I take NMN, NR, DHEA, Metformin (I do not have diabetes) and resveratrol plus I do an hour intense training. It definitely works, but which one I am not so sure about, and I do not want to isolate each item because that would mean I would feel less well for a period.
Ms Whittel, any benefits for hypothyroidism ;Grape Seed and Resveratrol? Thank you.
Hi Where can i find it? Or how can i order it cause i live in kuwait? Thank you
Reduce your drug dependence, start taking resveratrol daily.
My health are improving with Resveratrol and i am buying on Amazon for $24.99 180 capsules and it taste really good https://amzn.to/2LOdptR
It sounds a little bit weird for me because Japanese studies say that NMN is safe for usage. Also, Resveratrol has been tested many times for safety reason. Neither me nor my wife had no issue with this stuff, however, I would be more confident if there were more trials of usage NMN + Resveratrol
I am wondering why you wouldn’t speak about red wine vinegar. I recently started taking it, and I am feeling so much better than a few months ago. I don’t have a cold neither the flu.thank you
High marks for set design including YOU, Naomi. Nice direction, too, with use of narrow focus and framing. Your lighting director did an excellent job, too. Someone obviously knows their cinema.
found very interesting your video. I would like to know where to buy a reliable Reverastrol. My name is Xiomara
If not for Americans the French would be speaking German, fuck France
ONe of the people you interviewed, James Chestnut says we should NEVER eat a peanut. I know you do not agree. He says they are toxic.
David Sinclair takes 500mg of TRANS Resveratrol. Heh if he takes it…why not you n me?
Metformin or berberine, which is better, safer or about the same?
Hi Naomi! For how long should we keep taking resveratrol to have best effect?
low sugar high fat diet. that being said wine, coffee, dark chocolate in moderation have some health properties.
I’m up to a gram a day of each for 4-5 months. Never had any side effects. But I can’t say I feel improved either. But I wouldn’t expect a short-term energy boost from them. As someone who has suffered with food sensitivities, I think that’s your main issue. I’m keto now, and enjoy my salads and such, but in your position I’d be tempted to go straight carnivore for a month. Plants have all sorts of substances that can make their predators feel bad. Animal/fish meat do not.
The highest content of recervatrol in natur is in Japanese itadori tea which is a Japanese knotweed and considered an invasive species in US, Canada and Europe. The plant is very invasive and grow in harsh weather conditions. I see it everywhere in Canada. It will grow in a pot also.
You should go to the doctor’s and get a blood test to find out if you’re low on vitamins. I found out I was low on vitamin D. After my doctor told me I started taking vitamin D3 and I could feel the difference right away, I have more energy and my hair stopped falling out. You may be low on electrolytes, you could check out Genius electrolyte powder, I think everyone’s one’s bodies are different so what works for one person may be dangerous to you. I wish you well.
I would love to imbibe in a lot of your products, Naomi. But I have difficulty swallowing pills. My esophagus is very small all the way down from the opening in my throat to my stomach. Do you think there might be a chance that you would start providing your products in powder form, especially the resveratrol? I take my vitamins and turmeric in liquid and powder form and it would be so great if I could find somewhere that sells the health products in this easy to swallow form. I only put organic products into my body. I wish that we could make pesticides illegal; I think we would all feel a lot better. Thank you so much for all that you do to guide us on this journey we are traveling in search of healthier and better living.
Just read this article: Resveratrol: Twenty Years of Growth, Development and Controversy. I´m kind of confused… Anyone?

This is wonderful but where can we buy high grade trans rev at?
Wikipedia just has nothing good to say about this. Is it perhaps that it may be because its natural pharmaceutical companies generally downplay naturals because they don’t make them billions or is it really because it has no benefits to really speak of?
Loved loved this beautiful
I’m taking this capsule, I learning
From youthank you so much
My dad is 68 and hes willing to take 1g a day. Ill update you all!
You should get the genetic tests from 23andme, and check the results for methylation genetic issues. Also you should take TMG 500mg twice a day, morning and night, which adds methyl groups using a different set of enzymes. Your body can deal with only 20 mg of niacin, or niacin-like compounds per day, and will dispose of the rest. This disposal just consumes tons of methyl groups.
Naomi I am taking 1600 mg of organic Resveratrol..I also have been listening to David Sinclair..However, beside eating foods with Resveratrol, how much should we really take as a supplement? Thanks! Love your YouTube! Marlene D.
Physical Side Effects using Trans-Resveratrol 500mg consistently for a couple months:
1. My circulation seems to be better, and that effects a lot of things
2. I have noticed my hair gets thicker, but there isn’t more of it.
3. I get really easily aroused, insatiably so in fact, with very hard erections intermittently throughout the day
4. more energy after a period of adjustment. It can re-regulate your biorhythms, and that can make you very tired at first.
5. it seems to prevent me from going into Ketosis even when limiting my carbs to < 20g; thus, it could interfere with Keto. I also use b12 for added concentration, and d3 because I live in Canada and we don’t see the sun as often, but that’s about it. I would like to try NMN; yet, it is very pricey, and I don’t really know which suppliers are best. Anybody have a suggestion?
I use resveretrol with pterostilbene, and I take them with a little oil like avacado oil for absorption.
So does resveratrol cause breast cancer??? Cuz my mom had breast cancer and I’m taking resveratrol for a long time already but still have confusions and concerns
I alternate, weekly, between alpha lipoic acid and resveratrol.
I tried Spring Valley Resveratrol from Walmart (250 Mg ()1capsule) and it made me dizzy, gave me nausea, and a headache. Do Not use Resveratrol
All the resveratol ive seen is brown….where is the good stuff??
Great video, sorry to hear the side effects.
do you take R with yogurt/fat as David does?
is it Trans and 98% or more pure as it should? Impurities might mess you up / your allergy or other unknown interaction
is your product independently lab tested and/or peer reviewed? Rhonda Patrick says that some products contain nothing near to what they claim…
I only take R and like you better muscle tension. Was your tight muscle tension caused by anxiety / lack of sleep or so like mine?
Cheers?
Not sure how well humans will do on all this resesrch, but mice are gonna be living for decades.
Thanks for sharing your experience. My wife and I have been taking NMN and resveratrol for three months now. For NMN we started with 125mg on the first day. I do recall that we were both very sleepy after taking it. But felt much better on the following days and quickly ramped up to 600 mg. So far I don’t have any side effects but my wife had headaches when she increased the dosage to 750mg. We are interested in your experience resveratrol as we did not see an immediate effect like you describe.
Please find below link for more detail if you are interested.

Watch more videos about nmn and David Sinclair, eat mostly vegetables and a little bit of meat only.
My health are improving with Resveratrol and i am buying on Amazon for $24.99 for 180 capsules and it taste really good https://amzn.to/2LOdptR
What colour should it be? The ones are on sale are all brown. What is the best source please? Thanks for the video.
Sorry if this has been answered before. But what do you mean by binders and fillers? I’m sure they wouldn’t appear on the label like that. What ingredients should we make sure to avoid?
how to get fresh Resveratrol?, all i see from online sources are brown and he says brown won’t day any good!!
“I haven’t seen any downside” He said.
Resveratrol: A Double-Edged Sword in Health Benefits.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6164842/
[4. Negative Effects of Resveratrol: Some studies have documented that it may behave as a pro-oxidizing agent [112]; thus, paradoxically, it may also have implication in pathology of several diseases].
Research by Sinclair and others helped spark interest in resveratrol for its potential anti-aging properties. In 2004, Sinclair co-founded a company, Sirtris, to test resveratrol’s potential benefits and declared in an interview with the journal Science it was “as close to a miraculous molecule as you can find.” GlaxoSmithKline bought the company in 2008 for $720 million. By the time Glaxo halted the research in 2010 because of underwhelming results with possible side effects, Sinclair had already received $8 million from the sale, according to Securities and Exchange Commission documents. He also had earned $297,000 a year in consulting fees from the company, according to The Wall Street Journal. https://khn.org/news/a-fountain-of-youth-pill-sure-if-youre-a-mouse/ Sinclair is involved either as a founder, an investor, an equity holder, a consultant or a board member with 28 companies, according to a list of his financial interests. At least 18 are involved in anti-aging in some way, including studying or commercializing NAD boosters. The interests range from longevity research startups aimed at humans and even pets to developing a product for a French skin care company, https://us.caudalie.com/story-ethics/ingredients-and-patents/resveratrol.html#patent-yourskin-content https://us.caudalie.com/collections/resveratrol-lift.html, to advising a longevity investment fund.
Thank you for allowing comments. I like yor channel and have been wanting to say thanks.
Anyone experience insomnia?.. I’m 48 and wired in the evening. I mean 2:00 AM in the morning.
very informative with good background information thank you for sharing your knowledge:) keep up the good work, thank you
Medicine places too much emphasis on coronary disease and diet without respecting the obvious fact that sunshine is directly related
I just watched your video on Resveratrol. I find it really interesting, and I’ve been researching Dr. David Sinclair’s findings as well. My question is this. What age is ideal to start taking or using Resveratrol? I am 36 years old going on 37.
Thanks Naomi! I’m also browsing your other content now:) How do you suggest taking the 250 mg? With or without food? With or without certain other supplements? Day versus evening? For the max benefits!?!
I have not had side effects but do have more energy and think more clearly.
I think the French paradox is simply the fact that consuming fat does not give you heart disease. I still drink red wine.
The Life Extention Resveratrol has ingredients like ‘maltodextrin’, which are fillers made from corn. Worser than sugar, affecting blood sugars, gut bacteria….
It recommend to use ‘Trans’ Resveratrol: Japanese Knot weed and consume with fats or oils for bioavailability. Take lower dose at 1st with food.
According to Sinclair, Resveratrol activates SERT2, but only in the presence of an increased amount of something called NAD.
Next time you take them check to see if your blood sugar is too low. I know they’re both good at treating insulin resistance.
Thank you so much… i love your research n also the sincerity tht u portray it…
In my experience, feeling tired for the first hour after taking NMN is quite common. After the body gets used to it doesn’t happen again. I can tell you about the incident when my 70 year old father took a gram of NMN and Resveratrol for the first time. Blood started running from his nose and he was so tired for an hour that he couldn’t do anything but lie in the bed. After repeatedly taking a gram he never had the same incident again and he feels great now after taking it. I would suggest that you start with a small dose and work your way up to a gram. Looks like body develops a tolerance to NMN just like with some other medicine body develops tolerance. That’s why I take a gram for 5 days straight then skip taking it for a day or two.
Thank you for doing this research Naomi, I have been interested to start supplementing Resveratrol but was wondering best sources and this will help. Keep up the great work and thanks for keeping us informed!
Try again, and take both supplements in the morning. I recommend starting at 250mg of resveratrol and increase to 500mg after a week. I take NR not NMN. I had the same side effects as you have described for taking them later in the day. Since I started taking them in the morning {50mg of NR and 500mg of resveratrol} in my yogurt I feel fine, no more side effects. Can definitely feel a higher level of energy. This does wonders to your skin too
Thanku so much..I wanna know tht if your book glow 15 has full keto diet in it?? And if it has keto plan for vegetarians..
You look too young to worry about any of this….if you are 40 maybe take a low dose….yeag TMG.
Hi Naomi, very informative video!, going to start taking it daily, could you also tell us the benefits of niacin for anti aging, Thanks again David
Thank you for this video…I had this same thing happen too me; at first i thought it was my glasses…and stopped wearing them. I have continued taking nmn and the fainting symptoms has faded…
Potential for increased cancer with NMN
https://youtu.be/H5lgJ1EhlkQ
The only thing that doesn’t tie up for me is where you say the French are so healthy due to the resveratrol they get from the wine etc but then later on in the video you say it has to come through a supplement as the normal intake of wine or chocolate wont provide the amount we need? How do the French do so well without a supplement then?
Any advice on taking it with food or ‘it does not matter’?
I am asking because I am a ‘one meal a day’ person and I eat at about noon. So, would it be safe to take Resveratrol in the morning with ‘nothing’ other than water?
David Sinclair said in his experiment a low dose was found to not having any beneficial results in mice.
There is a study on human saying that it is perfetly safe: https://www.jstage.jst.go.jp/article/endocrj/advpub/0/advpub_EJ19-0313/_article
We don’t have your health background so it is really hard to say something about your experience.
One thing important, it seems that Dr. Sinclair, as the same time he is doing his experiment on himself, he takes great care of his health: fasting, lots of vegetables, avoid carbs and sugar, limiting meat intake, exercice and more…
First day I needed a nap, second day of 150 mg I had clarity of thought, focus and energy.I work 70 hours a week and have a son at home that’s 1 this product helped a lot.
Thanks for the insight. As a phytoestrogen does Resveratrol block or mimic estrogen? What is your view on the effect of phytoestrogens on males in general?
Solgar Resveratrol 500mg once a day is okay or not?
You’ve mentioned per gram that you are taking in powder form. Where did you get your source from? Are NMN available online like in Amazon are authentic NMN?
Pls advice.
Thank you Dr.Sinclair
Probably nothing to do with the supplements as you have been feeling tired for years, there is probably something else happening to you. Get checked out
I heard somone mention nmn could deplete your atp levels and to me it sounded kind of reasonable. I therefore combine nmn with kreatin. Maybe worth a try?
Disclaimer! Im a nobody in the health and medical area.
Thank you so much! My dad is very far into his fight with Dementia. I am going to try this both for him and me!
It’s funny how he says he doesn’t feel he has been negatively affected cardiovascular wise but if you look at his tedtalk you will see that he jokes about running out of breath after climbing the steps to the stage in which he is noticeably short of breath.
You might be too young to feel any benefit. I am in my sixties and NMN at 500mg out the gate three weeks ago was like turning on the lights. I felt warmer all over have tons more energy and quicker thinking. Don’t take it after noon though or you won’t sleep. Sometimes I feel a tad dizzy a few minutes after I take it but it goes away. Maybe something to do with improved circulation.
I had the same reaction from resveratrol. I went thru it couple of days and now I feel great with it. 125mg morning, 125 mg evening. So take it slow and let your body get used to it.
Hey you better make a vedio on benefits of resvaretrol as you found it to be good.
Take a look at the Resveratrol articles in NutritionFacts.org and Peoples Pharmacy website. My experiment with NMN and R was a minor disaster. My spinal stenosis pain returned and I got a chronic runny nose with sneezing and coughing. On Peoples Pharmacy many people reported joint pains and other problems. Remember all the publicity for these supplements flogged by David Sinclair are based SOLELY on mice studies. They are notorious for not being duplicated when tested on humans. These “natural” supplements, unregulated by the FDA are powerful drugs. I feel conned by Sinclair, professor at prestigious Harvard. He should preface all the countless interviews he has given by saying he is only talking about mice and is only guessing on what NMN and R can do to humans. It is telling that in the past dozen years he has been beating the drum for NMN and R he has produced ZERO human studies. Each body is different and some may benefit. For me it was negative.
Sunshine and a butter rich diet is the reason the resveratrol sticks in the french diet.
Have you heard of Methyl groups depletion? you should take TMG or methyl folate + methyl form of vitamin B12
Lion’s Mane & Cordyceps are exercise mimetics that improve mitochondrial health via similar pathways. A smooth boost in energy. Highly recommend:)
problem is resveratrol can, to use mr. Sinclairs word, “supercharge” estrogen dependant brest cancer. im confuded why they dont talk about risks, only benefits. im affraid they hold patents or have some financial gain from people using this molecules.
dont get me wrong id love to be proven wrong but if you get to reading it isnt all so great as they are saying.
This presentation calls for a background in extensive human physiology which I do not presently have. Thank you.
However, resveratrol dose requires to achieve what have mentioned is too much higher than any available in the market!
Since the study ran on mice not human

Is it still beneficial when you eat about 10 mg with natural food?
I have been taking it for years, have to check my label now, make sure it is the good stuff
All the scientists at the bordeaux university are drunk 24/7/365!
I do I know: I’m the chief scientist of bordeaux university, Hips!
Super love your comments. Straight to the point… 1.. 2.. 3… With super clear explanation.
It looks like is working great.
Naomi you are absolutely beautiful!! Keep the great work. Thanks!
So the weed I spent over a decade trying to keep from taking over my back yard is the best source of trans-resveratrol…
What time should you take resveratrol? What do you advise? After reading GLOW15 I started taking it every morning with Curcuma trying to get the “4 Fabs” every morning, but then I saw some studies talking about timing for resveratrol, that it might not be good in the morning opposite to night, being oxidant during the day and I got confused to the point I stopped taking it, so what do you recommend? WHAT IS THE BEST TIME to take Resveratrol supplementation? AM OR PM?
Hey Naomi, you said take 250, 500, or a 1000 mg depending on what you are trying to achieve. What will each dose achieve? Thanks:)
The French also have one of the highest levels of liver disease
I really enjoy your energy and the autophagy interviews you’ve done, and am looking forward to reading your blog. That being said, I have to debunk the French paradox which is bad science based on correlation, not causation. At the time of the studies, the French diet was a Mediterranean diet which consists largely of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, olive oil, and limited amounts of fish and poultry. We all know that the Mediterranean diet is good for cardiovascular health. The french living off butter and fat is exaggerated. When they have a proper dinner, it is indeed rich, but they consume child like portions. I’d be more inclined to believe caloric restriction was the main factor when they could boast about great cardiovascular health. I swear my friends try to starve me every time I visit,. Thankfully I’m usually coming from or going to Italy where they love to eat. Have you been to a house party in France? A house warming for instance. Plenty of booze, they can certainly drink. At a party for 30 you can expect snacks for about 10 toddlers. I’ve traveled all over the world and France takes the award for the most anorexic country. It’s ironic because they are foodies and foodies generally feast. Not the French, they do not eat, they graze and nibble really nice food. Spain isn’t too far behind.
These days CHD (Coronary Heart Disease) is the #1 cause of death in France, so much for that wine theory. The 500mg resveratrol doses used in most human studies equals about 40 litres of wine. Pretty sure not even the French would not be able to keep up that type of wine habit for life. David Sinclair takes a gram of the purest/best quality resveratrol and admits very little is absorbed which is why he takes such a high dose. He also takes metformin. I’ll save my money for now and get my resveratrol from food, and use fasting and broccoli sprouts for the anti-aging and endless health benefits.
We all want to know which resveratrol do you take??? That’ll be a big help! Love your channel!
Interesting that PeterAttia does not believe the Resveratrol results from David’s lab, hence the possible positive effects of it… any feedback on that would be very interesting
Hi Naomi, I was also taking a look at your web, can we find those qualities of the trans resveratrol you talk about in the products you sell? Also why not make a 500mg capsule, so we can take 1 a day instead of 2? Is it heavy on the stomach? Thank you!! Love your videos
1:30
David Sinclair is just thinking “THATS WHAT IVE BEEN SAYING FOR OVER A DECADE”
Hi Naomi, how do I buy your products to Australia? It seems you only ship to within the US and Canada.
Hmmm. I’ve been on the same protocol for about 9 months now w zero side effects.
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge, and to read between the lines
Can you do a video on all the supplements you take and what you eat in a typical day or week perhaps? Great vid btw!
