Balega!! Is my fave but i also like feetures, swiftwick and sockwells all for different times and places
I used to get blisters all the time. I started wearing injinji socks when I ran. I no longer get blisters.
I have mostly Drymax socks at the moment, which are fine, but I want to try some other brands.
Stance is in a similar price range and I just use them as my main socks
Balega socks are the perfect running socks! Try them once and you’ll be hooked.
I like the stance mid or low… also some running shoe stores have their store brand which sometimes will give you it for free
Feetures is my second favorite, the best ones for me are Injinji
I don’t have either.
When you said “if you don’t have a good sock to match” I thought welp no I don’t.
You do not seem to articulate neatly brands, very difficult to understand
Have you tried Darn Tough amazing socks.Never thought any sock could be so well made.Outstanding!!
Thanks for the ones that you sent me. I appreciate them & you have a subscriber for life #MaryBethOrNah
You didn’t mention injinji toe socks they’re the best only $12 to $17 for one pair
Hi! Why don’t you try this, use https://www.strideline.com/?ref=bb-yygerj when shopping for the best socks use the code BBH3DND for extra 10% of discount
After watching this video, I visited My local Academy Sports and purchased a pair of max cushion Feetures socks. Ran three mile in a pair of ASICS Kayano 25 and Feetures and I have to say my feet felt awesome during and after my run.
I was like you, figuring “socks are socks” until I splurged on Feetures. Life changing as soon as I tried them on. Have sworn by them on runs since. They just enhance the experience.
Holy shit you’re better than many 100k+ channels but you only have 16k! Love ya energy
I still have all of my nike elite socks that I’ve got since I started running 4 years ago, and they outlived many running shoes.Good running socks are definitely worth it.

Got into Zensah socks recently and I’m loving them. I also have a bunch of Smartwools and Darn Tough wool socks and those are great also. Only wool or wicking socks for me, and if you don’t put them in the dryer they’ll last long enough to pay for themselves.
Hey jami my nike zoom all outs popped yesterday and I have a million life style shoes but nothing to run in. What’s a shoe similar to that that’s about $120 or less?
After switching from a UK shops own brand to some bigger brands, I got far less blisters and have lost less toenails as well. I find compressport socks don’t last very long though so save them for every day.
Both Feetures and Swiftwick changed my life! It is hard to wear regular socks now. I’ve turned others onto them too!
Go to Walmart and buy the Russell brand workout socks. They don’t sale them online just mainly at Walmart. They’re like budget running socks but are actually really good for the price
I love my feetures too. I use them when i do speed repeats but when i run long distance i love my no brand bamboo socks thats soft stretchy and thin with a sockless feel just to prevent blisters and stinky feet. Cheers.
I wear CEP for my long runs (soon to change), I wear either Nike quarter and crews. I, however recently tried Stance socks sold where I work (Cleveland Indians Team Shop) let me tell y’all; Stance socks are TO DIE FOR! Cushioned and comfortable where it’s needed! I ran a 5k in them and my feet felt great and cool the whole way!
Try looking at stance performance and Injinji performance . Been my go to socks
im not complaning about the sponsored video, but a heads up at the start of this video would have been nice.
Love feetures…after having surgery for PF….these are the best
They are not so expensive if you compare them with other brands such as compressport or cep.
Balega and Falke ultra light, nice and thin and breathable, and great moisture management… no show socks with the Achilles tab is my style
I do not have running sock but now I think that I will get some.
I wish they would sponsor you, and hit you up with a code for your subscribers to use…
Have so many running socks all kinds but SMARTWOOL PHd for my Ultras
Jami, can you review the Pureboost Go? They’re slightly cheaper than other Pureboost models and seem to have some different design elements as well. Love your videos by the way, you’re the best!
Same here. I didn’t know what I was missing till I bought a pair of Balega socks. A bit expensive, but I wish I had these when I was running every day.
Only Darn Tough or Smartwool socks for me. Nothing beats Merino wool.
maybe you should try socks printer https://youtu.be/tWZ962a9o8U
I’m trying to get the CEP socks but I have an ankle width of 7.5 inch. CEP wants you to use ankle measurements to find your size. I’m a size 2..which they don’t offer for men….SO my confusion has prevented me from buying CEP socks. I’m a US 10.5 in shoe…
CEP recommends me buying the women size 2 (foot size women 4.5-6.5. No way I’m fitting in a women’s…the customer service at CEP says the sock will stretch but how can it stretch THAT much to equal as mens sizer 10.5 foot. My ankle measures the same as the women size 2 but my foot length would be a size L in 2XU… so confusing. Please help if your familiar with CEP’s fitment.
Swiftwick, Balega and Fitsok are more affordable brands that are still very solid running socks ☝️ feetures are definitely one of the higher end ones but I wouldn’t knock the other guys
Thanks for the review Fordy, glad to hear that you are getting on well with our patented Griplock™ technology to prevent blisters. I think you have hit the nail on the head, we have tried to create a lightweight, close-fitting sock that improves on what the dual layer socks aim to do.
Couple of new ones to try there cheers. I use injiji on my long runs and don’t have any issues…other than the price.
I have 10 Ironman flash pro socks for some reason my ma bought them from another guy who said he got a discount pack from a store closing down and liquidating their stuff. They’re like 10 years and still in good shape besides the lint.
Hey bro, i can’t decide between the adidas ultra boost ATR and the adidas ultra boost 4.0, just 10 dollars of dif between them so price is not a problem. How would you choose?
ok we all know this is just a brand deals..he just saying its good but not really
I wear Asics tech running socks. They are cheap and they do the job pretty well.
I have the nike cushioned socks and anti-chafing socks. Though they are 20USD a pair(as far as i can remember), never regretted buying it. I used to have blisters on my left ankle and now its gone. I hope I can find these brand here in the Philippines…
I run in saucony performance comfort socks. They are breathable and keep my feet dry. Definitely worth it.
We all know that person who puts on $200 shoe a a $2 sock! Tag them in this!
Seriously, $30 for a pair of CEP low cut is a joke. Do you suggest Nike cause it’s a popular brand?
I usually buy quarters from nikes, they’re worth 9 bucks. Great for comfort and reflectivity for my night runs.
Injinji toe socks. For marathon or over, best form of blister protection I’ve ever come across.
About three years ago I bought like ten socks from Nike and today some are starting to degrade, starting to appear a hole at the big toe. KKK
It’s time for me to go but now new socks. BTW, running socks in general really last a very long time.
What socks would you recommend for hot weather running? Right now I have balega hidden comfort and they get soaked from sweat in hot weather and cause blisters. Any recommendations?
Just find an asics outlet store and buy their 3 packs socks. Good running socks and cheap
I enjoy Stance running socks they seem to work for me no complaints.
“Are they worth it?” is a loaded question. Is ANY pair of socks REALLY worth $12? Or $15? Or $18? What do they cost to manufacture? How many people from the factory to the point of purchase have made their living off that single pair of socks, with the price basically doubling every time it passes hands? Ditto for running shoes, if you want to get down to it. When I worked at the Morristown Running Company in NJ in 2005, Asics had their Kayano sock-$18 for a pair, in 2005. If someone bought them, all I could say to myself was “sucker”. Some socks ARE better than other socks (I run in Balegas.) Are they worth $12/pair to me? I guess they are. Is ANY pair of socks really worth $12? No. There is real value, and then perceived value. And perceived value is what keeps manufacturers in business. (Steve jumps down from soap box.)
This was video that I had made MONTHS ago, I never uploaded it because I know socks arent that interesting…plus the quality was kinda Bleh…but hey, every video cant be FIRE. lol #MaryBethOrNah
For me Hilly is working best. I have their trail running socks and their marathon socks. Not tried the twin skin socks yet though.
