Is it not true that the carageenan exists in the capsule and not the oil, and so the capsules can be split and the oil drank to avoid the carageenan problem?

I asked them in e-mail about a batch test result or something but they said it’s confidential and they can’t share it. Then I wrote to the second one and asked the same, they also said it’s somewhat confidential but they’ll try to share the amounts of DHA/EPA from the latest batch results, so far 2 days, still waiting. The first one is really cheap compared to anything else. How could I test the ingredients or at least the DHA/EPA potency?

In light of recent events, all studies on DHA being essential or beneficial for brain health or health otherwise are fixed and/or low quality and therefore can’t be relied upon. Furthermore, DHA supplementation can play a role in prostate cancer development… Check VegSource for more info if interested
are you sure you arent reading faulty studies that have been made to sell these supplements?. i think you might have some issues with this just like Dr Greger.. check out Jeff Nelsons videos on this subject, i think you are accidently muddying the waters because you trust everything you read without being able to tell if its a corrupt study or not. again.. maybe you need to take Pam Poppers class so you can learn how to spot faulty research.. and then make a video apologizing to the vegan community for making it seem so complicated to be a vegan.. i dont trust you.. and i sure as hell dont want to trust you either..

Do you think megadosing epa/dha once a week is a possibility? I’ve tried taking supplements once a day before and have not been successful.
Good day! I was wondering what you could tell about calamari oil? It has very nice ratio of DHA to EPA (2 times more DHA than EPA). And as some doctors say, calamari oil is more pure than fish oil as well. Of course I’d buy Algae based omega3, however it’s quite expensive as compared e.g. Carlson labs EcoSmart product (22$) 120 capsules, each contains 140mg EPA and 360mg DHA.
personally, I like eating a lot of fatty salads with plenty of olive oil, nuts. The dose coming from one of those small pills seems insignificant in comparison to the amount of other types of fat that I eat (mind you, I know for example olive oil isn’t regarded as a bad fat and I have a normal weight).
So do those pills with the tiny amount of omega 3 they provide actually make any difference? I seem to be very far off the ideal 1:1 Omega-3/6 ratio taking my olive oil habits into consideration (and a lot of people in Mediterranean countries use it in abundance).
In other words, is consuming the amount of a pill of olive oil LESS per day equally good with taking up a omega 3 pill for balancing out this ratio?

Flax/chia and hemp all day baby. Before deciding if I’m buying a supp I’ll get my levels tested (you can find them online if your medical establishments do not offer them, for roughly 50 bucks, thought I’d be careful buying a test from a company that tells you your levels need to be in the 8s and also sell omega supps, I doubt many will have those levels who takes those tests so it’s just fear mongering, as far as I remeber going above 4.5 had no benefit). I’m also confident that seeds keep me in a healthy range, I’ll still check my levels though.
