You MUST be a UX designer too, I’m a fellow nerd who shouldn’t love it as much as i do making music, but i love both
I’m 15 and want to start building muscle (at home with no equipment) before I start doing martial arts.
Try Jefit. I’ve been using it for years. It’s a free version, but the pro version cost a few $ one time fee. You can choose workout routines or you can create your own. Use it when you do your workout. Log every set and it will remember both weights and reps until the next time. It also have a social feature to connect to other people using the same app. Just try it and you will love it!
I use PingPal app to track habits with my friends, which helps me a lot.
The best part of watching these best habit tracker apps videos is seeing Thomas list habitica as number one every year
I am new to this channel as I just started gym for about a week. Idk if anyone ever told you this yet but, your voice is soooo similar to Armie Hammer.
50 Bucks a month? wtf no… If you already have the amount of knowledge this app expects you to have, then you’re wasting money

but don’t we need a “habit” to start using “ habit apps”
There is a app that allows me track week and month habits (not only daily habits)?
2:14 habit: drink water bottle
Reason for skipped: “Whole city ran out of water”
Habit: Drink Water
Reason for skipping: Whole city ran out of water

I love the jokes in between his videos
i really want a app like this but do you have to pay the monthly cost? also i want app that will track previous lifts for different reps. In other apps I’ve used, lets take deadlifts as a example it will show me my previous weight for that exercise but i want it to show weight for that day and that many reps. some weeks i train heavy so i don’t want to see weights for 8-12 rep which i did previously i want it to show for when i did 3-5 reps if that makes sense. does it always show weight lifted from the last time you deadlifted or does it show from last time you completed that week?
THIS APP MADE MY DICK GROW 3 INCHES. ITS A GOOD 3 INCHES LONG NOW! WOOOOOOHHHH!!!
I installed the Habbits app. But the reminder sound doesn’t come. Only the notification comes. Please help me
If you’re going to this strong style workouts why don’t you guys look into 5×5 Stronglifts app?
DOOOOOD. This is the best instructional vid for this app. Please make MOOOOOREEE!!! I’ve wanted to see how an experienced lifter would use it, and I agree that it’s THE BEST.
#1 app for ios is def “Productivity Wizard” for me. Habits, projects, tasks, daily journaling, morning and evening routine setting + more! Check it out Thomas!
Thanks for the video. Use this app as well, but didn’t know about a couple of features (like marking sets as a warmup).
Excellent introduction to this app and brief tutorial. Thank you!
Thank you for taking the time to put this video together! It contains some helpful information so I really appreciate it. Take good care, Antonio
Speaking of artificial intelligence, could Stephen Hawking be a bodybuilder?
I like “About me”, it helps not only track habit, but also rate mood, energy or productivity and see what have more impact on my life
Bro you have to talk about plagiarism in YouTube. There is this vshred guy who is copying everything from Athlean-X. Few people have talked about this.
They need a Snapchat app for Fîtness enthusiasts only so the nudes are all propah
This would have been my favorite app if they didn’t make u pay… my routines are more than 6 exercises and I have more than 3 routines. Fucking money hungry fuckers
Yo, thank me later, you may get gems, coins, gold or whatever for free from Zepisguides
Oooh excited to try habitica! Been waiting for something like this
I use the Loop Habit Tracker on the Samsung Z Flip. It’s a shame this isn’t on iOS. It’s the most simple and robust habit tracker i’ve seen in the last few years of using the tracker.
New subscriber here. Not sure if you’re answering comments but I sure hope so ’cause you seem like the perfect guy to ask: Do you now if there is a way (app, website etc.) to track habits AND qualitative life statistics like levels of mood, motivation, body states etc. so that it can help you detect and realize patterns? Simply put in perhaps banal examples: “Oh looks my mood drops every two days after I do x particular thing” or “Looks like a tend to spend more money related to x behavior”.
I hope my question makes sense and that you or perhaps some of your subscribers have some input or ideas.
how do u enter drop sets? if i do 35 kg dumbbell 10x bench press, then take (without pauze) 25 kg 10x and then 15kg 10x. and when i do 30reps in all and do a ppauzse…how do i enter that?

On top of loving your content, I frigging love your B-Roll too!
Yea.. habit trackers… To tell the truth they make me demotivated? Like surprisingly without the tracker I’m productive and I can do everything I wanted to. If I have any “habit tracker” the fact that those apps are so annoying I don’t rly feel like doing anything… And I forget about them.
My favourite one that isn’t on the list and it’s (probably just) for Android is Loop Habit Tracker. It’s easy to use and has a nice UI, with both light and dark mode. And yes, it’s free!
It has all the necessary stats about habit strength, streaks and heatmap which shows you when and how frequently the habit was performed.
It’s quite good in my opinion because of it’s clear design.
Can you make a biography of dextor jackson nick his life story
Are you going to have 2018 video as well? I hope you try out my favourite Gymwolf ( https://www.gymwolf.com) which is focused on gym workouts.
Would you like a free copy of Gymster to try. It does everything strong does and more. Plus it’s a one time payment rather than subscription.
This APP is awesome! Just downloaded recently (June 2, 2019) and it works great. You get a 60-day trial of the PRO version for free. The difference is that the non-PRO (free) version only allows 3 routines. I definitely recommend it if you want to keep track of your workouts and progress!
The best gym app, better than jetfit, stronger, etc, is GymAce http://gymace.fit/
ALSO, there’s this app called fabulous and it’s likehow can I say thisITS FABULOUS!
Hey, Tom! Thanks for your video. Can you tell more about IFTTT? Are you using this tool? And if “yes”, tell more (in a video maybe) how are you using it and which tasks can be solved with this tool?
“…. MKBHD here….” Just that was missing in the beginning.
How do I make a action a habit like eye contact or not saying like or um or anything the is required to be done multiple time throughout the day
I recommended Fitnotes.
Clean straight forward simple and no ads.
Habitica can be used, to a degree, as a task tracker as well. It has a to-do list.
I loved Habitica but my issue with it was that it was too glitchy, so I uninstalled it. I really hope they fix those issues because I really loved the idea of Habitica but it got to the point where I couldn’t use it
Awesome review bro. Been searching for an app to help me out.
Congrats, good job on the review. I was looking for an APP where in the habbit or task I could have all the features I need. Example medidation habit and it rings and access to correct video, or run habit and it access to my playlist in youtube or itunes… Is there something like this? Thanks in advance, Diana. PSIf not could you get someone to create one like this pleeeeeaase
I am actually practicing typing,
So I have to keep track of my Word Per Second typed per day
And I want an app to show my highest, average and lowest WPS based on my daily entries.
Can you please help me bro,
I have almost seen your videos and confused with all the habit and todo apps,
I will be looking forward for your reply
Can you do a video on goldberg at his prime. How to Work out and if he was natural. I guess he’s a good topic for the video anyway.
I came to this vid bcos I need to start to reorganize my life. And accidentally i found that you are a very good looking dude.
signing off…….
You can also check out “Avocation” our new habit tracker app available on iOS and Android. We offer a very beautiful and easy to use app which let’s you track your habits and also learn about the science behind habits in our lessons!
40 dollar for one month? Jesus fucking christ, “affordable” hahaha
good video. thanks. questions for ya…do you know of a activity/workout tracking app for creating custom workouts? Thanks in advance
8. Habitify: well-designed, simple, graphs, compatible w/ everything
7. Habit hub: only android:(, nice design, goal feature, „skipped“ not failed markable
6. Tictic: also to-do app so if you want a multipurpose app it‘s great,
5. Bminder: doing your habits for money, really data-nerdy, connects to iftt and other apps, perfect for customization nerds hehe
4. Today: iOs exclusive, aesthetically pleasing, many free features, you can set wallpapers:D, addable to apple Health app
3. coach.me: capable, high five animations, community feature, faq‘s& tipps about apps, find coaches for accountability
2. strides: ios exclusive, similar to habitify but more flexible, 30day challenges or yes/no habits, you can track an average over a period of time
1. habitica: rpg with habit tracker, kinda like a game, geeky hehe, (too) much going on, motivating if you like gaming, party up with other people to attack a boss (lol), teamwork & accountability partners in the game, free features
I’ve tried this kind of apps before, eventually i get tired of opening it everytime so i don’t use it anymore lmao
Aw I wish I was into gaming, habitica sounds like it would be awesome with the team accountability!
I am pretty sure you can find good solutions on Unflexal page, great for health:)
I use loop habit tracker. It’s minimal and works as fine as others!
I love the app. Keeps me motivated and on track. Thank you so much.
Would like to share my Google Sheets workout planner/log (exercises database and new week new tab design): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/17QJuYGik7AOOwKcRKO827mi9E6rBpurJXiFSmbFpBKY/
There are more than 5 fitness apps out there, Tilt MasterFlex. Don’t call your video the ‘Best Fitness Apps 2020’ if you’re gonna start trashing the apps you’re mentioning, rather use their spots to highlight alternative to those, once good apps. Or don’t, it’s your channel!
Hey Nick, we would love it if you would give our app a shot, search Muscle Shocker on either app store and it will come right up. Then dont hold back, we think this app is 100% solid but want to improve it as much as possible. And keep doing what you’re doing! Looking great!
I really like habitica but i think that it lacks statistics i can’t visualize my progress in months for example so yeah i’m relying on it for efficiency but it needs proper habit tracking tools
ugh you have to pay a monthly fee if you want more than 3 routines saved.
How can I add supersets? It has option for warmup set, drop set and failure but not for superset
I remeber that I downloaded this at some point but I deleted it for some reason, now I downloaded it again and realize why I deleted it. It’s hot garabage. If I want to track a 5*5 I have to input everything manually and that’s nonsense. I want reps and sets to be manually set once and then I want to just input the weight, much easier that way.
I use “Lose it” It’s pretty good for keeping track of things and after awhile it learns what you usually eat
Cool app…hey can you tell me where I can order melanotan 2 for research purposes
Thank youuu for sharing these! really great help as I’m looking for some habit apps for accountability!!
The problem with habit apps is that I also need to create a habit to use them otherwise I just forget to use it…
at gym i think i don’t have internet connection…it works without one?
Did anyone get a bunch of recommended videos of does kids elsagate shit??????wtf!!!
thinking of getting this app or fitbod, will you be updating vid soon
don’t you use the apple watch with it? so you don’t have to walk around with your iphone in the gym?
I’ve used Strong, but I really like Gym Exercises & Workouts by Adam First. It’s free. No need for a subscription. You can have unlimited workouts on top of the huge number of predefined workouts.
Hey what’s about Streaks? Did some of you tried? Looks to be the best
The best one ever is Reactivetrainingsystems app. It is completely free, not sure they have an android app or not, but the website app is the best one I have ever used.
My favourite app is called Progression. Android only tho. Check it out, best workout planning app I’ve ever come across on Android or iOS
i only have one question for this app. Can i use the app while offline?
If this video helped you decided what fitness application to use for your 2020 goals. Lets us know!
I like strongapp.io This looks like a time sink where as I want to get into the gym and work, not fuck around on my phone.
This was great! Please make a longer video on this. I’d love to understand all the details, ins and outs of the app before I try it. You did a GREAT job on this! There are only two other videos I could find on Youtube actually talking us through how to use the app and I don’t feel like I understand it enough yet to try it. Another video would be SO appreciated!
Monthy fee or $100 to purchase too steep! Lot cheaper options that do the same thing.
Great overview of the app. I wish the developer would offer a desktop version.
Been actually looking for a new way to track my workouts. Was using bodyspace by bodybuilding.com but the workouts that I could add were very limited. So this just what I’ve been looking for. I’m wondering if I’m about to share my workouts with others through this app as well
i been using this app for a while, and one time Vegeta checked my phone to see my progress and told me i was at level 9000
I love when I find a Nerd guy on YouTube, I found you by accudent looking for how to organize my college life, and now you are my favorite YouTuber now!! Gosh I love when I learn new things from Nerd guys ❤❤❤
Can you please do a review on the habit app ‘Fabulous’. Id like to know your thoughts on it! Thanks!
Those apps don’t work. I installed the “six pack in 30 days” app a year ago and I haven’t noticed any significant change.
I use the Spotter Fitness app. They use AI as well but the app looks better
I see this is an older version a new detailed vid will be great $$$ paying for the app people are so cheap, you spend how much on supplements and protein powder? come on $139.00 forever!! I connect it to my Apple watch and it is super convenient. As a beginner no longer a noob I need to track and a picture is worth a thousand words.
The most complete I have seen for stats (really crazy amount of stats) is fitnotes. But it doesn’t have with programs, just for tracking. But for that purpose is the best option so far. For those who doesn’t need a trainer and just a tracker.
I just need an app that has an android and web version, lets me create as many habits as I can and allows me to create reminders for specific habits on specific days, how can it be that NONE of the apps in this list do the job?
I am almost considering coding an android app with this features myself
TickTick actually requires premium to add more than 5 habits.
But how do I find how many calories I burned in that workout??
I have been using Daylio for over a year now. It helps me see which behaviors and activities correlate to my mood, which has allowed me to restructure my lifestyle to prioritize, make time for, and build in activities that bring me joy.
your videos are so nice, no flashy content…. no screaming and very down to earth. three cheers
Does Strong allow for more than one user per account, do you know?
I know another habit tracker app PingPal is FREE!
By far it’s good for me. The best part is I can track habits with my friends. Sadly only iOS available…
For ios Way of Life is a good one. It has a notes section for every single day! So you can journal why you succeeded or why you didn’t succeed. another good ios app is Alarmed. Alarmed is my favorite reminder app! So many cool options and customizations of notifications! Coolest reminder app ever!
Thank you mane. Happy with my new App I decided to go with the “Today” app Aesthetics & Simplicity >>>>
Oh my god THOMAS FRANK IS THE MAN! He is so right! I used all his tips and I started a channel to track my progress. I’m about to upload a video in 45 minutes to show you how much this video has helped me! Go check it out
Hey guys! I’m Carl. I’m a doctor from Montreal with a PhD in health and exercise statistics. I built this app with a small team. Like Nick said, it helps you build muscle faster using AI. Nick, I’ve been watching your videos for a long time, and I’m honored you’ve featured us.
Guys, if you’re curious to try it out, you can get your first month free thanks to Nick: https://drmuscleapp.com/nick. Any questions, email me from inside the app or try [email protected] drmuscleapp.com (my direct email). I’ll go the extra mile if you’re also a fan of Nick. Cheers!
How much is the monthly subscription? I downloaded the app but the only option under subscription is lifetime access for $899
Not sure Nick if you are gonna read this but check this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YBO6vXQuPXU its finnish guy deadlifting 380kg raw natural!! he needs a shoutout!
For me Habitica is the best app for habits. Because in order to make a habit stick, you need to reward yourself after you do each habit, and each time you check a habit in habitica, you gain money/xp, which spikes dopamine regardless if you like/interested in gaming or not. (I don’t even use the “gaming” aspect of it because ticking off my habit spikes up a lot of dopamine in me already) I’ve been using it for a while, and all these months I’ve been using different kinds of rewards, like one anime episode or one Cody Ko video, or one game of LoL, but I’ve always been distracted because of those rewards and on days of low willpower I ended up just bingeing on anime, etc which is the supposedly reward because, low willpower plus a overly high dopamine reward is a recipe for multiple cheat days. Using Habitica not only as a habit tracker, but also as a reward is really a game changer. You guys should try it:D
Im amazed this app created in app inventor is so easy to clone legit theres no copyright stuff as well so you could just upload the same app and say its your own oh wait… geez how many people are making these clones in app inventor????????????
I like “daylio” for tracking my habits and moods. You can also add a little text. I’ve just checked its arivable for Apple and Android:P
Anyone else getting some weird suggested videos from this one?
Shirt off pants down, you know who it…shit wrong channel!!
i’ll definitely check it out! came here from YesTheory bc I was interested in seeing some behind the scenes of life at MVMT. Stick with this whole YouTube thing!
Welcome to the ” first one thousand views squad ” like my comment NICK!!
Thanks Ethan-This is the best instructional video I’ve ever seen. It’s even better than the ones STRONG puts out. I’ve purchased other apps and couldn’t figure out how to use them (I’m 68 and a fairly low tech guy), but finally I can put down the old pencil and clip board and use my smart phone.
I started habitica and I woke up at 4 everyday since a week.. Studied for 6hrs everyday and brushed my teeth evertnight… Worked out for 20 min every day… Also I use FOREST App to be focused on only 1 task.
I just logged into this app about 3 minutes ago and I’ve already gained 3 inches on my arms!!!! Wow!
Richard Virginia
I’ve been using MyFitnessPal for years also been waiting on something cool for actual workout this looks promising
I use pro gym workout and home workout pls make a video and rate it:v
Idk if I should switch halp
Hey! How did you get the time on your watch with the Nike logo!
I have a 5 series watch
