I have plantar fasciitis and my lats get super tight sometimes I try my best to stretch and do the most I can to be flexible, but sometimes I just need that extra deep dig in to loosen up. This would be great to have and would help me a whole lot
Sleep tip, put your WiFi router on a outlet timer so that it is powered off while u sleep. WiFi radiation is not good for sleep. Also Keep your cellphone away from your body or use airplane mode while sleeping.

I wasn’t even able to get through the deadlifts of the first round because of how sore/tight/crappy everything felt. I stripped the bar down to 135 (yikes) and after 2 bar muscle-ups my biceps/triceps were screaming from doing ring push-ups the day before and I decided to call it a day because I wasn’t going to get any good training in based on how I was feeling. I’ve noticed my recovery has been horrible recently and I’m looking everywhere for things I can do to improve. Probably won’t win anything, but just wanted to say thanks for the video-it was very informative for someone who just stretches and uses a foam roller. I’m really interested in the freeze sleeves, they are pretty cheap compared to some of the other recovery tools I see promoted on instagram/youtube. Thanks again!

I did a snatch workout this past week that probably Sidekick could’ve helped me. My lats and teres minor along with long head of the triceps constantly lock up on me doing snatches due to a past basketball/shoulder injury. I usually have to use a foam roller to loosen them up again. But foam rollers having a large surface area are usually hit or miss with that area. Having a sidekick like that can really target those little spots and maybe bring me back to my good old healthy shoulder days.

At the end of this workout my forearms felt like Popeyes and my feet were cramping I feel bad taking up a barbell and floor space to roll my forearms after, and a lax ball never gets deep enough into my feet I have seen others use the side kick and thought it a great, super portable idea.
The next day my traps were aching and this would have been soooooo good in the office to help relieve that discomfort too!

Don’t know how many old farts you have watching but this was just the right thing. I especially liked the part about LGlutamiine. I too use it in my shake but haven’t taken a large (therapeutic) dose. Will certainty incorporate this. Also use the electrical stimulus thing. Mine warns about having the electrodes on opposite sides of the spine. Musst send stuff straight to the brain!! Also not a good idea to place electrodes on the brain. Probably look kinda funny but not if you were watching in the mirror. Keep your massager hid from the girls.

I train to a really i level so I just mix up the high intensity workouts to say every other day with strength in between? Or should I still throw in a rest/recovery day? Getting into fitness after decade of hunched over computer, sedentary only exercise I did was chasing down resources to update action item logs, project plans or running to terminals, esp Ohare, trying to make connecting flight. The only thing I think you should change on EXERPRISE is the voice of the “trainer” and maybe a more smooth beeping sound. Overall, I love the app and use it often.
Hey Josh, Clothes over electronics to block out light could over heat your shit or start a fire. Better to put black electrical tape over the little LED lights to block them out. That way your electronics can still vent and cool. Cheers.

Yea the cupping is very good..I’m not sure about ice bathing the floss tape and the power gun works wonders especially the floss tape I put it around my whole leg at times due to my injury,as for my sleep I’m still struggling
Totally agree with the afternoon caffeine.. I cut mine out (mostly caffeinated tea & the occasional latte) and falling asleep improved. No more melatonin for me.

You should check out cryotherapy. Joe Rogan and Dr Rhonda Patrick have mentioned it on his podcast. Does wonders. In addition; many cryotherapy places also have recovery boots such as normatec recovery boots which help with blood flow for your legs.
How can someone sleep for 10 hours, I am lucky if I can get 6. I’m just not wired to get that much sleep, it’s never going to happen. I wouldn’t mind sleeping more, but not everyone has the ability to do it

I had to find a heavy 20 reps deadlift this week. My lower back and hamstrings are on fireeeee!
Voodoo floss is awesome! Had golfers elbow so bad and nothing seemed to fix it… until I bought a voodoo floss! Within a week I was able to start heavy pressing again. A month after I was able to do heavy rows! Now I can even do curls and get minimal elbow pain.

My workout was tough, lots of burpees! 27-21-15-9 Cal row burpee box jump overs I wouldn’t have been so bad but after I was done I had to go sit through 4 hours in a night class of linear algebra! Some recovery tools would’ve helped with that stiffness I’m sure! Either way, thanks for the info in the video! Oh yeah! and I had to like a Brent Fikowski video on sidekick tools IG bc they didn’t have one with you in it…unless of course you were the very last post they made with the very feminine looking legs, I didn’t know you shaved your legs! haha

Everyone has different approaches. If you do something different, that doesn’t mean you are wrong. This is what I personally do and what has worked really well for me. Like with all my videos, I share a realistic approach so my goal when creating this type of content is that since it works for me, I hope it can work just as well for you Aliens too. Great tips! I used some of those tips such as heating pad, ems, and taping… I recommend to put in active rest (low intensity exercises: yoga, slow jog, swimming, stretching, light load work out). Like the 8th tip stated, we need to get some movement for the muscles, this would help to relax and increase the blood flow in the muscle to wash off the lactic acid.
Great video! How would you compare the theragun g3 pro to the Normatec? I can’t live without my G3 pro but Iv’e heard mixed reviews on the normatec,that it isn’t as good as the theragun g3 pro. What are your thoughts? Does the normatec work differently to the theragun g3 pro? Thanks
