First i tell you breif history
In my childhood my hobby was to do fighting with friends and practice on my on doing punches on trees, door etc. i was fan of Jackie chan. I had a lot of interest in learning Martial arts when ever i said to my father please alow me to join nearby judo training center. He didn’t alowd me. After my high school i shifted to my village i didn’t know how this happen i started to grow in height and become very slim now i am 23 years old and weighs about 56 kg.
In my area there are only karate and judo trainers. I didn’t found a single mma, or kick boxing coach i have interest in these two.
I need favor to ask
Should i go for karate, judo center.
While every one is saying that the coach will not train you because you don’t have good muscular shape and you are slim.

I have several rash guard type shirts. A few under armour, some Adidas, and a lulu lemon yoga top that was a gift. The lulu is the best one and no doubt expensive. Its thick and durable, but most important it wicks away moisture. Some of the guys I roll with sweat like they literally just stepped out of a swimming pool. The under armour shirts don’t wick at all. They just hold all that sweat right against your skin. Its like wearing a wet suit, but nasty. Ill gladly spend good money to avoid that.
In Russia(and throughout Eastern Europe), if you want to go swimming, you’re dressing swim briefs (like speedo). If you need crossing all the town to the beach, you should dress shorts above swim briefs, because shorts are for walking on a hot day. You can swim in shorts if you forget swim briefs at home.

By far Phalanx is the best rashguard they are not cheap but they put all others to shame as far as quality imo. I dont have any of their spats yet but their shorts are great too

I was in a group class learning the Sun style Tai Chi form in the early 1980s. The teacher was a new immigrant to the USA from the mainland and he knew I had been training a long time. He could not understand why some of the students had on what we call “tai chi slippers” and Jing-Mo uniforms. He asked “:why do they dress like that? “ I just wear this ( he had on a adidas style track suit ) “just toss it in the washing machine, no ironing. “. I said I think it’s because its what you wear to be authentic

1. Being a bigger guy I love the longer length. I tried one summer wearing one shorter and my thighs rubbed and almost started a fire
2. I wear a dry weave shirt at the pool, water park, etc because being a red head who has a fare skin tone, I burn very easily and I am not trying to have sunburn all over. I did one year and had blisters all over my back and I am not doing that again

I have been training boxing for almost a year now, and I have been invited to my university’s MMA society as my friend is running it this year. Would love to know your thoughts on how I should modify my boxing? I don’t really want to go to ground, I love sticking the jab out, landing a flurry of shots whilst changing the direction of attack then double jabbing back out of the pocket at an angle; most of my combos are build around that. I wear speedos all the time! As a swimmer and a triathlete, they are an amazing piece of swimwear. Instead of just saying never wear a speedo because that is your own bias opinion, maybe you should clarify it is your opinion and there is a time where wearing them actually makes sense! Swim suites serve no purpose to the swimmer other than to cover up so why drag a lot of extra material around with you. If you want facts then Science proves you absolutely wrong on this comment! Baggy clothes are terrible for speed and endurance while swimming this is why on almost all of the really long swims people have done, like swim the English channel, they did in a speedo! France has proven it is much easier to maintain a swimming pool if you make people swim in small swimming attire. Maybe if someone wants to sit on the shore and look all fashionable then your opinion might be helpful but if you are actually going to swim then your opinion sucks!
No-Gi classes can leave mats looking like small ponds with certain kinds of mats. I like to wear tights underneath shorts to avoid feeling a little icky when I slide into one. Also, I wear a rash guard with a t-shirt over it. However, I wear a dri-wick type of t-shirt and not the cotton kind. If you don’t want to wring out your shirt, they are to be avoided. If you do consider wearing gi-pants, just note in tight spots, some people will cheat and use them like in a gi class. With shorts, no one will bother because they know it’s wrong. As far as women are concerned, as I record video, I haven’t been able to post certain rolls because my wife would cancel my membership if she saw some of the outfits some of the women have worn.
What if you got a belly? Rash guards look great on muscular people with slick abs but what about people on the bigger side?

I got it from their website paid like 70 bucks for longsleeve rashguard, compression pants and some fight shorts to wear over the compression pants. It’s fair. I like the quality too for once. Problem with clearance stuff in my experience is stuff only gets added to it when they low in stock and the only thing that’s available are extremely fatty sizes or super tall ppl sizes same thing happens with gi’s you will see “omgs that style is on clearance sweet deal oh fuck they only have A5 A6 and XXL XXXL damn lol” good luck finding anything in a avg size lol

Hey Coach…they just put the Conor/Khabib fight back online and something that had kind of been bugging me about MMA rules jumped out at me.
I get that there are good reasons not to allow striking at the spine…but why is it legal for fighters to take advantage of that rule and give their opponent their brainstem and effectively use it as a shield?
It was kind of obvious during that first takedown…an elbow to the back of the neck or head would have definitely stopped that grapple attempt, but McGregor was forced to do these awkward strikes around the head.
It seems like we’re not talking just exposing yourself by accident but instead exploiting a rule in bad faith

Haha, who makes these rules? Late 70s early 80s guys were wearing shorts about at short as the women. Fast forward to the 2000s you could practically get arrested for indecent exposure if you exposed more than half a kneecap. Now shorts are starting to get shorter again. I would say it’s best to have some level of fitness to get into a speedo, but guys in Europe and Brazil wear them lots and they can look great in them! From now on I’m going mid-thigh on the shorts and if I get more in shape I might even try rocking a speedo. Screw whatever the stupid fashion trend is this week. It’s just a racket to get you to throw out perfectly good clothes and buy new ones.
