I get really tight IT bands and do foam rolling to help loosen them. I have the RumbleRoller and IntelliRoll. Have you heard of them? My favorite is the RumbleRoller because it gives me a deep tissue massage. But it can bring me to tears when working on my IT bands.
I have the Amazon basic. I don’t use it as much as I should. Only when I’m tight.
Great video! Thank you! You’re funny…Will buy two of these and try them out.
Great review! Got the trigger point grid and the orb. I appreciate the info!
Great reviews check my new foam roller wheels invention. Working on licensing. I’ll try to get you a set 2 review later you gotta try my new calf stretch sitting in a chair using the opposite leg in cross leg position to push the roller forward with 1 leg on top to pull your leg fwd. hyper ice is dope
3:35 Girls, are you thinking what I’m thinking? ^_ Vibrating foam roller…
I foam roll before and after a workout. It really helps my lower back from tightening up. The roller I use is the Rumble Roller in black that has protruding nubs. Costs about $70.
Fringe sport peanut lacrosse balls great for wrists and between the sides of the spine! My foam roller I paid $10 from Ebay and came with a lacrosse ball and a spikey peanut dog toy!
I was very reluctant to purchase the Hyperice Vyper (because I’m a tight wad that’s why I like RIZKNOWS)..but it’s worth every penny for me. I never used to like to foam roll but now I feel it is more effective in “myofascial release”. I use it every day before and after workouts and it has made a huge difference in my muscle pliability and overall flexibility. People will spend $1000 for a smartphone, but not on something for their fitness and health.. There are cheaper alternatives out there, but I’m not sure how well they work. I thought you weren’t supposed to roll in the lumbar region but I guess you can do either side of the spine.
OMG! I WAS ALL LIKE, I’M TOTALLY SCARED NOW, LIKE WHY WOULD HE COME ASFTER MY FAMI…….WAIT, he smiled….THAT’S LIKE A SUPER FUNNY JOKE ROFL
I foam roll at least 2 to 3 time a week. Foam rolling is something I will never stop doing.
Roll 2 to 3 times a day. Morning and at night. If I am running, swimming, or cycling more then an hour I roll after that.
I don’t foam roll but I think I’m changing my mind as of now
I’m only 17 and don’t foam roll, but I play basketball often and I heard that you should.
Just bought the amazon basic. I am always very sore the next day after a workout. I am curious to see if this will help.
or get it from aliexpress where everything is made and sold to amazon (not everything but almost)
I don’t foam roll. I know I should, but I don’t like the pain:-(
I don’t foam roll but maybe I should give it a try to help ease up some of my tense hip area since I sit a large part of the day at work. Very informative video. Thanks.
Try to foam roll at least one, intensive session, a week… sorry to say that I am a bit lazy in regards to this
I foam roll but I do it every time when I am doing a workout
Yes, I foam roll mainly when I am feeling stiff or pain. I need to do it more often.
Foam rolling has help me a lot to recover after my runs I foam roll like 4 times a week
Watching this video because I’m about to buy a handheld ball thingy.
I don’t foam roll. But I probably need to just never knew which one to get.
Amazing review! Hadn’t tried it before, it’s a liitle inconvenient to do. But i think i should try after watching your video.
Go easy on those 40 year olds who can’t touch their toes…
I actually have The Stick, and I use it every night. I’ve been really happy with it. It really helps loosen up my muscles after a hard run.
I have before and felt the benefits of it but stopped and need to get back on it.
Is there any reason to get the triggerpoint grid if you have the hyper ice?
I used to foam roll everyday, got lazy with it… which is not good
I foam roll about three times a week, though admittedly not as intensely as I should.
Have tried the hard knobbly type and not for me. I’m 60 and this type of roller is much to aggressive and bruising for me,so steer clear of them!
Hey Jeff, I have followed RIZKNOWS for some time now. Love the content and I roll on my foam roller almost daily regardless of working out. I agree helps soooooo much with mobility and flexibility. You guys have a great “www”, my only suggestion is “please” have you considered expand you top 100 deals to other countries? I live in Australia and would love some of the deals you guys find.
the hyperice vyper 1 is $261 on amazon and the vyperice 2 is $200…can you help me understand why? what do you think of the trigger point grid vibe?
never foam rolled but I might try it after working out some more.
thanks for the vids!
I am an athletic trainer and I agree that foam rolling is important IF you pair it with stretching. They are best together. There really is not a difference in the different foam rollers. Amazon basic one will do the trick. If you are a real risk taker use a PVC pipe. That will hurt so good!
It’s not gonna be long before your youtube blows up bro! Keep posting this fireeee
Just discovered foam rollers… I am a swimmer, and 68 years old… What I want, and I may have to make for myself, is a wall mounted one that I can lean into. Think Baloo in Disney’s Jungle book. Some parts of the body are easy to roll, some aren’t, or to get enough pressure, you need both hands, which isn’t always practical…. Does any one else think like me on this???
TriggerPoint Grid Vibe $99. Any chance on getting a comparison???
YES!! Foam rolling has been a huge help in me recovery. I do it about three times a week. Getting your IT band might be the most painful thing but so worth it
Great advice! The problem with some foam rollers that I have used is that they are made of cheap expanded polystyrene (like high density beer cooler foam) as opposed to foam rubber so they are very slippery. For $200 you think they could use higher quality materials on the HyperIce Vyper. Can you review under $100 foam roller or is it just better to bite the bullet and get the Vyper? Either way I need to roll!
I have never foam rolled, but Jeremy Scott Fitness is scaring me into trying it much like Amelia scared you.
Also, love the shirt.
Third, there was a collapsible foam roller called The Morph on Shark Tank that would be good for storage and travel. May be worth looking into.
I don’t Foam roll as of right now but after this video i am will to try it. I might get a amazon roller before i jump up to the other more expensive roller. Great Video!!!
I have not tried one yet. But I will now look into getting one. Thanks for the info!
Once a month. I’m 46 so once I get down it’s hard getting up. Jeff said “massage balls” more than anyone on the planet today.
I never foam roll, but definitely will try it. Some of my running buddy use it and recommend it. Thx or the review. Anyway, where’s kate?
I foam roll before I run sometimes, I actually find it pretty helpful. I have one of the sticks that you use your arms to push on your muscles with and it has soft spikes that dig in and I really like it.
Thanks for the video. Very helpful. I’ve increased my workouts per week and have been thinking about using a roller to help recovery but didn’t know where to start; I do now. Thanks!
i don’t foam roll, but i do have an inflatable roller, and oh it’s comfy
Thank you so much for sharing. I’m getting one today, and you have made my shopping so much easier.
