I got in to Yoga for helping with recovering from the gym. Then I found it incredibly useful for ADHD and ASD.
My favourite styles are Restorative Yoga and Yin Yoga:)
Thank you for offering these excellent classes. That’s a lot in one day! How often do you have these long days?
I used to try meditation for long time with different videos on YouTube, i used to feel from within, the best and most relaxing video ie yet to come and m happy that i got it. Thank you
Thank you so much for sharing your yoga story. I’ll begin my 500 hr yoga teacher training next week; I’m excited to learn yoga more deeply. Please do share your YouTube and yoga teacher training stories as well. I look forward to watching more Coffee Chat videos.
what a lovely videocandid, honest, very very authentic day for a yoga teacher. Thank you!
Wow! Thank you so much! This vidéo help me a lot! I juste LOVE your work!
Thank you so much for sharing this all so candidly! You’re wonderful! xo
This is my favorite meditation one that I have been doing for last 2 years. Its extremely calming and relaxing. Its what I listen to first thing every morning before I even start my day. I love how when I get really into it how I feel the energy flow through the body. I have recommended this meditation to many of my friends as how I really love it.
I’m so glad you posted this. I’m a newly certified teacher and a lot of my teachers don’t write out classes or plan out sequences till they arrive in class and I was starting to feel like I wasn’t good enough if I had to plan in advance. But seeing a great teacher like you put this much work into the practice is so inspiring and relieving
its way too fast. need some practice first before attempting this
This is great but the music going in and out slightly made it very distracting
Perfect class post run and while in isolation! Thank you Ida
Thank you so much for sharing this!! I’m currently going through my yoga teacher training and want to start adding yoga videos in the future so this was really helpful. I also agree on how mentally tiring filming can be. I find that to be true myself. Thanks again and I can’t wait to see more like this!!
Thank you for the BTS video!! we just starting filming and posting some yoga videos (mainly travel videos but one of us is a former yoga teacher) and its been tough long term traveling and trying to find space to practice or even trying to figure out how to go about even filming it. We do the best that we can during this trip but thank you for the awesome tips!
this is literally the best running yoga video ever!! 30 minutes and lower back & hips are feeling completely open for my speed workout to come!! Thank you!!
Hi Kassandra:
This was really helpful. I’ve done lots of shoots and find them super time consuming and exhausting. I was glad to hear you say that because I wondered if it was just me. I always find it hard on camera to remember just how to say things and have it clear. Also I would LOVE to hear your tips on editing. Specifically how to do standing shoots and still have your whole body pretty close up as opposed to looking like this https://youtu.be/u9Qy-tz3Rg4 is the wide angle lens the key or are you cropping the shots once you get to editing?
Thank you so much Kassandra, this was really interesting (not boring at all!) and also inspirational! Inspired by my two favorite online teachers (you, and Yoga with Adriene) I have started a YouTube yoga channel this month after getting certified at the 200hr level:) (it’s not this channel I’m posting from, it’s called Asana Meditations). Although I’m not really teaching in the videos, as I’m only uploading Minimal Cues videos at the intermediate level (Vinyasa, Astanga & Yin) it’s still so exhausting for me to film just two classes in one day! And then the edition and thumbnail and audio etc. which takes me days of work. Can’t imagine how you do it! However it is so exciting and fun and makes me feel so alive <3 So please do upload more videos like this one as you are one of my biggest online inspirations and it’s great to see your process / life:)
Hi Kassandra, Tank you so much for all your hard work and for the information. I am a yoga and meditation teacher. With Covid-19 obviously I am not currently not teaching. I have so many requests from my students and my family who are all over world that have been asking me to post videos on YouTube Yes, I don’t want to spend a lot of money at this stage, so can you please advise if I can use my iphone 8+ to film? Also and this is so important to me, what mic system can I get without breaking the bank. FYI, I do own a Cannon powershot camera as well, would that be better to film and will I need to get a wide angle lens for it? Any suggestions on lighting as well would be greatly appreciated. You are an amazing teacher I love your videos. I am anxiously awaiting your response. Please stay safe. Hugs. Lally
nice body flow! on the 0.75 speed this can be evening relaxation yoga
Comprehensive stretch & strength. Ida is wonderful to listen to.
Such a great, total body flow. Don’t forget the half-split on the left though.
amazing interesting Video, beautiful footage keep up the good job
I love your videos, also the old ones you made outdoors,so funny with the cat!I am a teacher and understand how tired you can be be after the video sessions. It is the enormous concentration and the state of awareness of each single point that is so draining.I wish strong motivation, energy and sucess in your way, thank you for being there.
Thank you so much for sharing on the topic! I’d love to make videos in the future when I finish my current teacher training. I know your minimal cues flows are likely geared to more intermediate/advanced, but is there anything you do to cater your other classes to an online audience compared to group/studio classes where you can get a feel for your students’ “level”?
Kassandra!! Thank you for this video. As a beginner and not familiar with yoga I appreciated the shorter videos. As I started to practice more I noticed my endurance and flexibility was getting better. I still have a long way to go but today I can complete up to 45minutes. I’m very proud of myself. Your style of teaching is perfect for me. Instructions are simple and easy to understand. Thank you for sharing your Yoga story and getting to know you. Keep up with the wonderful work!!
Just started yoga a few weeks ago, I wanted a good stretch after HIIT workouts and I didnt want the intense type of yoga. I stumbled upon your channel and I instantly knew this is what I needed. your teaching style is awesome, you make comments on the usual mistakes as if im actually in your class. thank you for introducing me to yoga!

Very interesting to hear about your journey with yoga! Interesting to know that a teacher training would be beneficial even though you’re not intending to get into teaching, but rather for your own personal development. Nice tips at the end not to pick a random yoga teacher training but rather learn with someone familiar who is suitable for you. I’ve watched your videos and practiced for years, even more so in these times! Would love to join a yoga trip someday, like a similar you hosted on Iceland a couple of years back:) best regards from Finland
Thank Kels! This is amazing, really appreciate the honest look at the teacher training:)
Hi teacher
Which Breathing Exercises should i do as a vocalist
Thank you so much for sharing this. So many wouldn’t share all of these details. There really is more to making these videos than what those of us just doing them realize. Thanks again!!
Thanks for having this video back up again! It’s truly the best yoga for runners video that I have seen around YouTube!
this was so helpful, thank you. More of this kind of thing please, especially now that instructors are having to go online. I think for me the filming, uploading and nitty gritty about getting it all looking professional and on a website or online platform would be most helpful. Thank you!!
I totally loved this video!!! I always wanted to know in detail how you shoot your videos.Thank you so much for sharing!! Is there anywhere a list of the equipment you mentioned in the video (the microphone, the camera, the lens…)?
Thank you so much! Wonderful chat. Watched after one of your bedtime yoga videos. Both were relaxing and fun!

I booked my East + West training I felt the same way! Looking at any other school felt wrong, until I found east and west and it felt so right! Thank you so much for making this video! I’m so glad a get a glimpse into my 21 days in July/August. (Hopefully because ya know, corona) ❤️❤️❤️
Can you put the link to your mic and camera and lenses. Thank you.
Thank you for showing your behind the scenes! I’m really new to teaching and have been using YouTube as a way to practice and get comfortable cuing and would love to have some advice on how improve on teaching via video.
ngl i do this i cant feel my hands legs or my body anymore and i start to panic and move
I love you! You are so genuine. Yes, would be interested in seeing videos!
I do alot of yoga nidra. First time for this and loved it. Thank yu so much.
I’ve been practicing with you for over couple of months on this space and gradually, I am hooked. It’s funny now to learn that you’re a dancer. Somehow, intuitively it seems, I am gravitating towards yoga teachers with dance background. I am not a dancer myself but work as independent dance curator. There you go. Thanks for all the classes by the way. Great to hear your story with yoga. Sending all the good vibes to you….
Amazing video! I’m listen it almost everyday to fall asleep. Thank you!
Thank you Kassandra for sharing your yoga story! Your advice is very much appreciated. I’m currently doing my 200 hour teacher training. I’m so excited and a bit nervous!
almost fell asleep but then i moved and scared myself awake lollllll
Thank you for sharing your story. Good to hear that you feel that you do what you love, you’re a great teacher.
Hi Ida, wonderful practice! Thanks a lot. I ‘ve just noticed that you forgot to do the cat-cow with a hamstring stretch on the left side.
Wow great video, down to earth and fully transparent… We get to have a way better idea of how much it takes to bring these images to us and what a beautiful and great offering it is! Thank you for your time, love of yoga and sharing. Is it about the same process when you film outdoors or is it completely different?
One of the most comprehensive yoga flow, i have found so far. Having practiced yoga before and trying to get back to it along with running and cycling, I would say, this flow is most helpful. Its a whole body workout and utterly improves flexibility thereby preventing against injuries. Thankyou.
I loved it, thanks for sharing all this, so inspiring to get in this world
2020 people can buy a wireless mic for $60 YouTube quality that lasts. Tech prices dropped a ton.
Yoga with Kassandra is my daily habit. Thank you for your inspiration
How do you time your yin yoga holds? A lot of teachers hold one side longer than the other but yours seem really consistent without having an obvious timer or watch!
Thank you for your calming voice and Nidra guidance. I feel I will have a good night’s sleep now in this stressful time.
I taught yoga/pilates classes for years and your point on “have the energy of the participants that can kinda invigorate you”… absolutely. There is no feeling like that. Keep up the amazing work. Awesome stuff!
Really needed this type of meditation. The way that you guided really help me to feel relaxed, because my mind run away many times. Thank you
Started about 4 years ago to increase flexibility, control frustration, breathing, and to switch up my routine.
I like you even better now!! Great coffee chat..do you also drink cacao…??
Awesome video Kassandra, thank you so much!! And yes for more videos like this)) I am starting online YTT with Brett Larkin in January, soooo excited! So am interested in anything teaching related, especially as your classes are some of my very favourites and I am very interested in your perspective. I have tonnes of ideas for video topics e.g. balancing personal practice and teaching, your views on the philosophical aspects and teachings of yoga, remaining inspired as a Youtube teacher without direct face-to-face communication with students, maybe mistakes you made at the start that other should be weary of… I watched your other videos on teaching, I find them all super informative, thank you for sharing all of the info! xxx
I did vinyasa yoga for yrs infrequently, and then i really got into yoga with your videos! Now i’m in yoga teacher training. I can totally understand your relationship with dancing. I’m working as digital marketing and going thru lots of anxiety. Although i enjoy and love my job, lot of time it’s mentally challenging. And yoga help me a lot to relieve that stress. Hopefully oneday, I could become a yoga teacher who could spread the positive vibe just like you
Loved this behind the scenes video! So fun and down to earth! (Also cool to get a peek into Ottawa too, looks so vibrant and great!)
I also thought that brick wall was in your house:)
Thank you for all the hard work and effort you put into all your videos, it’s very much appreciated, even more after this video and you still look amazing after a whole day of shooting!!
Amazing practice… Seamless Flow..
Thx IDA May #CouldWeHaveSomeMor?
Best runners yoga sequence I have found. A perfect combination of strengthening and stretching. Thank you.
I tried yoga for the first time 8 years ago when I started to feel anxious. It was not love at first sight. Maybe I wasn’t ready and also I didn’t like the teacher.. so I gave up. 1 year ago I gave it another shot, and I found a great teacher. I loved his classes, and now I practice a lot even at home. Like you said, I love the fact that you don’t need to be talented to do it. You just have to practice. I learnt to listen to my body and respect its limits. I have a deeper knowledge of myself now. I’m still dealing with anxiety. It’s really hard to live with it. I’m trying to learn to love myself more. Yoga is really helping me.
Thank you for sharing your yoga journey. It’s very inspiring. I love your yoga classes on youtube.
P.S. you look gorgeous in the dress:P
I love you an all your videos I’ve been doing your videos for almost 2yrs now an you are amazing an keep me motivated and excited
Great video and routine, but not for beginners. I did see the video with a friend with years of experience and warned me about many of the exercises, that may seem easy to execute by Ida, who does it beautifully. A warning would be pertinent in the description of video.
Hey Lizzy,
I tried yog nidra today, was feeling little bit stressed, now i got relaxed and more positive. Thanks for this video
Lots of yoga and lots of tea for this over 50 menopausal ADHD lady. Yoga is phenomenal for ladies in menopause. It helps so much!!!!!!
I’ve been doing this daily. It’s the perfect 30 min routine before or after my other exercises
The video was not boring:) I watched until the end. Thank you so much Kassandra. Trying to find the best equipment to record yoga videos at the moment and I found your video very helpful. Merci and hugs from France.
Thanks for this insightful vid. I’m only half way through, but wanted to offer a technique I use for self portraits that might work on these solo video sessions. If your camera has a quick release mount for the tripod, it will be even easier. Set the camera, tripod as you want the final framing to view. Then take the camera off the tripod (leaving the tripod undisturbed) and carry it to where you will be during the video. From that position, focus on the tripod. Don’t touch the camera’s focusing control again, and mount it on the tripod. Verify your framing is still good, and you’re all set. If you don’t move closer and/or further from the camera during the class, you may find the manual focus is better, as auto focus cameras can become confused, following a foot or hand, instead of staying where you want it to be. Fixed focus will never waiver. Thanks again, I’m going back to watch the rest of the vid.
I only found you a couple of weeks ago after wanting to try yoga but not really getting on with other online instructors and struggling with time to fit it in around my busy schedule. I really love your 10 minute morning videos and have started adding one on the end of my usual 20 minute morning work out or bunching a few together as an alternative. I love your teaching style and the way you instruct and explainI struggle with meditation practices which is why I think you work for me! Just being reminded that it’s great to just have made the effort and have a go even if it’s difficult is hugely encouraging! As is your yoga story! Hearing that is was not straight up for you fills me with encouragement to keep it up, and to try your yin videos too, as that might help me with being more peaceful, or accessing meditation practices more easily. Thank you for helping with my yoga journey, I look forward to exploring your longer sessions and other coffee chats too as you really resonate with me!
tooo fast for me… I feel too rushed and can’t do the poses sober
My favourite yoga nindra, I have been doing since two years!!
A 36-minute long video while being in Coronataine is literally the best thing you could wish for
Hi Lizzy your voice is so calming thank you so much for making this I ♥️ it
SO AMAZING HELPFUL!..and so sweet! Thank you for this Bookteaser! I would love to see more chapters of you like thisit’ enormous energizing me to go into filming!
Its asked a lot, but a bit weird to start
I love that it was a teacher that inspired you ❤️I noticed as well that it can be so powerful based on the energy of the person. Oh and I love yin too!! ☀️
It’s always really interesting to know what happen behind the scenes. Cause video can’t descrive life and the work behind
Awesome, thank you. And I’m very grateful for your Yin Yoga Training @ Namaste Studio in Corner Brook, NL Namaste!
I really enjoyed hearing your story Kassandra. The thing I love the most about yoga is that is it for everybody, it isn’t dependent on perfection or ability to get into the “full” pose. It helps cultivate a sense of compassion and self acceptance but accepting where you are at in your practice, and ultimately this accepting and surrendering assists a deepening of your practice and progression.
random question, do you teach in Ottawa? I think I might have done one of your classes at Elevate. Love your videos <3
I’m a 56 year old lady in Scotland who has discovered Kassandra and am practicing yoga with Kassandra and really enjoying her classes. Just watched the yoga story too.
I love your stories and honesty. You are as fluent as your yoga and I appreciate your willingness to share your own experience. I feel more connected to the practice of yoga knowing how it impacted you as an individual person. Feeling the impact of yoga, and your teachings on myself; as a person searching for meaning and a calmer mind I really appreciate everything that you do for your own passion and to educate others; It helps me not feel alone on this journey of life! -and ever closer to peace of mind and happiness.: )
loved this flow, and LOVE ida may!! I did ida’s HIIT flow all the time when it was up on the channel, and was really sad when I found out it got taken down. is there any way you can reupload it?
Thank you I found this helpful! I tuned in to learn which camera to use but really enjoyed everything else you shared. Especially about the energy drain of filming. I have found that to be true too and nice to hear it from another person.
Thank you Kassandra sharing this.
It is pretty cool to see your process of making your yoga videos.
I would love to see a video with your lighting set up.
You said you use 2 mics. Did you mean one mic with 2 parts transmitter and receiver?
This was so interesting! Thank you for sharing. I can only imagine how exhausted you must feel after teaching or filming so many classes a day when I usually need a rest after just a one hour practice. Would love to know how you keep your energy levels up and more about your diet. I wish I could attend your classes now and again but living on the other side of the world, I really appreciate all your videos on YouTube..
Made it to the end!!! Thank you for the info girl! Very helpful❤❤❤
UPDATE!! I now am offering online yoga classes via the playbook app!! So freaking excited about it! Check out my website and come flow with me! Can’t wait to see you there hehe xx http://www.yogawithkels.com
Such a nice Yog nidra vedio feeling amazing. Mam I am an IBS patient. Believe this will help me a lot. Thanku. God blessu.want to connect u.
so insightful, thank you! I totally agree with the exhaustion part, before I became a teacher I had no idea how tiring it is! I honestly don’t get it how some people do five classes per day!:P Love your videos!
Awesome to see where you shoot! Walk by there often enough:) Cheers and thanks for sharing!
Evening yoga is the best part of her yoga activity….now, I’m looking forward to improve my meditation. I signed up for the membership too to improve the practice.
How did you find this great space to rent? Did you know the owner or did you find it by word of mouth? How did you search for it? I am looking for a place like this where I can film in my town but cannot figure out how to find a place that would not be too expensive to rent and that has great natural light so I do not have to use lights.
Love this video, sounds like you really found your vocation and passion in yoga! I felt like you were speaking to my soul on so many levels
Would be so interested in a yoga retreat!
I never even comment on YouTube, but I do want to say that I’ve been trying to practice yoga regularly for around 8, 9 years and your channel was the first thing that actually got my attention I’ve been practicing the 10-minute routines for weeks now and I feel such a difference in my everyday life. Thanks for sharing your experience!
Cassandra, I’m not sure if you’ve ever seen the movie “Black Swan” but it hits really hard on the mental aspects of dancing! It’s such a great movie, omg!
Thank you so much for this video! It makes me appreciate even more all your hard work and time that goes into your videos! Please do more videos like this. Like lots of people I also thought you filmed at home.
Thank you for making this. I was a yoga teacher for 10 years. I am considering making a channel myself. Just shy and not sure where to start. Namaste.
I recently started this…I am suffering from panic attacks and anxiety and I am trying to get pregnant. I feel this is helping me. This is amazing!
This was soooo helpful Kassandra, thank you thank you thank you! I’m just starting out filming videos and experimenting with different setups so I definitely got some awesome tips. It was interesting to be part of your day BTS as well:D
Love Natalie
This was my third time of trying the practice. Last two I fell asleep in 5 minutes but now I stayed till the end. My body felt like a soft cotton wool. So relaxed! I will come back again. Thank you!
This is a great yoga nidra, I rely on it many nights before sleeping! Thank you, Lizzy
this video helped me so much!! thanks for putting it out there ❣️
AMAZING!! I love yoga but had never heard of yoga Nidra!! Heavenly. My pelvic floor was in horrible pain. It is gone now! This practice will become a part of my everyday life. Namaste
So interesting! I always thought these walls were at your home for some reason. Now I aprecciate all your hard work even more, thank you!
Really enjoyed this…then to know pretty much where you were totally made my day! (sad but true and I’m not sure when I’m going to get back there)
Hi Kassandra, just wanted to let you know you are the very best!! I got the same camera and mic as you for my podcast and would love to know what setting to you put on the transmitter for sound, on the receiver for sound and then on the gh4 your audio settings please. Just trying to nail perfect sound and I don’t have it quite yet so I figured I would just ask you directly. Please let me know. I run -27db on transmitter, -12db on receiver and then 0db on the GH4 but it’s not perfect. Thanks for any help you can provide.
I see BEAVERTAILS!!!!! I loved the vlog style!! Definitely would love more! Thanks for sharing
Tx for sharing your yoga history! You are a wonderful teacher! Tx for all the effort in keeping your channel going on!
Thank you very much for sharing! Very informative, and definitely makes us appreciate your videos even more.
And that smoothie sounds awesome!
You go get that sandwich, girl! You totally deserve it!
Lovely! My fav meditation. Has not heard of Nidra b4. Shall share it and have subscribed! Have a great day everyone!
Thank you Kassandra, awesome video to see “the other side”. I know it has been there for a while but i just bumped into it, thanks to Sussan Reiker i think…anyways, if you can do some other videos dedicated to teachers, like sequencing, or keeping motivation, handling challenges like low show courses, etc, that would be awesome!
Namaste!
I am starting to record Yoga clases and am just going crazy, mic disconnecting, half of my shoots were
completely out of focus, I am so tired by now, so I decided to look for tips to record yoga videos and I found you! <3 knowing this things doesn't only happen to me, it s a relief. Thanks for sharing and if you have any tips I will really appreciate it. It seems like I have all that I need, I am just not using it right:(
I was nodding my head the entire time. It’s so draining to film! I can only do 3 hours at a time then I’m burnt out for like a week Also I have the same mic! That’s a good one and your makeup was gorgeous
Although I didn’t expect this video, I admit I was one of the curious ones… Can I ask why did you stop filming at your own place? Too much time spend setting the place up, perhaps? BTW, thanks for all the hassle you go through to make these classes available to us… much love from brazil!
I finally got into Yoga and Meditation as part of my daily routines. Now it’s an important part of my schedule. Peace love and respect!
So cool! This is my new favorite video. I’d love to hear more about your journey with teaching! You also are really making me want to take a teaching class. I completely respect your attitude! So kind & smart!
I felt so relaxed and calm. De attached from this outerly world. I’ll be doing it more often now. Thanks love for putting this.
I thought this looked incredibly daunting on my first view, but in fact I got through it! Ida May’s guidance is really great – she leaves space in the flow to properly feel a position, to make adjustments (and to get your breath back!) and gives lots of encouragement. Looking forward to doing this many more times, and trying to get better. I really recommend this for runners and non-runners alike.
If my girlfriend had that voice, I would never ask her to stop talking! ❤️
Love this practice, not sure why it’s a women’s workout though: (
Glad to see this back up on YT – this is the best runners’ yoga practice around
Once a day for I don’t know how long, sometimes twice! Thank you 😉
I followed her instructions I switched off the phone and it slept well
Been following your videos for four months now. It’s nice to know more about you. Thanks for everything!
Loved hearing your story here and the live chat today. You are an amazing instructor! Love Luna what breed is she?
This was great Kas! Thanks for sharing1 I love behind the scenes! I would love to see a behind the scenes of one of your big shoots too!
Well I slept and again woke up to switch off my phone♀️♀️
would you be interested in doing a video about what you learned in the philosophy class and meditation class?
I just signed up for the online YTT (due to COVID). I just want the personal enrichment. My goal is not to teach. Really hope it’s equally amazing virtually.
Kassandra you demonstrate such beauty, discipline and presence in all your videos. No wonder you are buggered (Australian term for exhausted) after filming! It’s huge and you are putting out so much care and love in your videos. It really comes across. I’m a yoga practitioner for almost 30 years now (and trained as a teacher a few years ago) and have never watched yoga videos before you. I’ve always been a traditionalist in this way teacher/student in the room, listening deeply, correcting, etc. You have changed me! I think you are such a gift to yoga and I’m so enjoying practising with you. I have a coaching business and watching your ‘behind the scenes’ video was awesome as we make short videos for our clients. It was so helpful seeing all your gear. Thank you again. Request? Ok..more minimal cues with longer holds (more breaths to sink into each pose) would be great. That said, I’m so grateful for what you do in a shorter time-frame which is why I’m practising everyday with you! Also, more gratitude practices I love those mindful cues during the asanas so beautiful. I reckon your karma is brimming with goodness:)
I love how your story is very similar to mine (and we are very close in age), however my journey has been up and down much longer until recently.
I practice at home (with the curtesy of your videos of course:D) so for me to go ahead with my YTTC I have had to go purely off instinct as I feel I am at a point in my life where I am ready to deepen my practice and take a new and transformative direction on my path.
Let’s hope one day you provide a Yin YTTC, I would happily attend:)
Thank you! xx
Love these personal videos. You have a great personality! Not boring at all!!
Interesting! I’ve often wondered how you do all this, I had imagined it must be quite a bit of work behind the scenes and I wasn’t mistaken, apparently! Great work <3
How often do you film? What is your weekly schedule like? Thanks for this video kassandra, very motivational
Thanks so much for posting this. Very helpful info for a future yoga camera man
This was so helpful. Thanks for your dedication! You’re an inspiration.
I just bought your book today and I found at the last page of the book that you have a youtube channel too…
Any advice for anxiety?
I have generalized anxiety disorder please suggest how you recovered?
Can you please do an affirmation & yin yoga class focused on body positivism/self love thank you
Tell me your yoga story in the comments below! ✨ If you like these types of videos, I recommend watching my 10 Tips to Elevate Your Yoga Practice https://youtu.be/KQWi6vrH7rE
What a great, real video. So so helpful. I’m curious what you use to edit videos? Lots of love and light!
Loved this video so so much! And would love to know more about the business side too ❤️
I cannot express how appreciative I am of this meditation, Lizzy. Your video has been nothing short of life changing. I have long struggled with relaxing my mind at night and falling asleep. Now, I listen to this beautiful yoga nidra every night and I am guaranteed to slip off into a peaceful sleep before the 20 minutes are up. I am certain a significant portion of your rightfully deserved 4+ million views are from me! I have found your meditation to be so beneficial, that I frequently share it with my own therapy patients many of whom suffer from PTSD, anxiety, and depression. Thank you.
It really is your calling. Your videos are amazing. Been following you for years and my life has changed so much
No sound except for the first few seconds. Is that just me?
Hey Kels thanks so much for making your vlog, I have signed up for a YTT in Bali next Feb and can’t freakin’ wait. Would you have any tips on how to create your online platform and App? X
Only found this lady 2 days ago and can’t live without her video b4 my bed time yoga it’s perfect perfect perfect to say it helps me sleep is an understatement amazing I love her
Love the moves, which you don’t often see in other videos, but I have to say that I hate the pacing and cuing. I just felt too rushed. I’ll check out some other of her videos for different pacing.
That was super useful, thank you so much!! I am starting my channel and found your routine for filming very inspiring, you are awesome! Thank you for sharing this video
Thank you! I loved hearing about your journey and am inspired to consider getting back into teaching.
Glad you are feeling better. Thanks for sharing this video. I am so interested in participating in either a retreat or teacher training in Bali in the near future. I love that island so muchI learned a lot about myself when I was there that I would love to expand on.
No kassandra, it never goes away. 37 here, and I’m still not sure what that’s ment to feel like. Thank you SO MUCH for your channel. Iv just begun my daily yoga practice again after years and your yin is just right for me. Three kids can make a gal tense. Iv not been this NATURALLY relaxed for ages (also just get over loooooong standing marijuana addiction)
There was a video of Ida May on power yoga, have you taken that down @Adidas women?? That was my favourite flow yoga please repost that on youtube.
Thank you so much for this video <3 I am planning on taking a 200hr YTT in bali in April 2021. This motivated me to be more committed to my practice until i go there:)
You study with Sianna Sherman? I LOVE her! I discovered her on Yoga international and she is my favorite teacher on there, if I could choose a teacher to study my 200 hour YT with it would be her for sure!
Hi! Love your yin classes on here. I am also a dancer who got into yoga and have been practicing pretty regularly for 12 years. I completed my teacher training earlier this year but haven’t started teaching yet. Very inspiring story!
You are such a passionate fighter. How lucky I am to find your channel. I was looking foward these chat video, you always sound so honest and open, I really like you not only as a teacher but a person. Take care, happy September, Kassandra!
Thank you for sharing your story, Kassandra. Yoga has been an incredible tool in achieving my peace and combating pain. I hope you continue to do what you do in guiding people on their own yoga journeys:)
This medication is great and when I am mad I listen to this meditation and when I can’t go to sleep thank you so much Lizzy
Absolutely LOVE what you said at the end, I’ve watched Lesley Fightmaster for 5 years and cannot get enough of her vinyasa flow classes, but I am obsessed with your yin and flexibility classes! I usually do a fightmaster flow in the morning and one of your yin classes in the evening…you two are my dream team!! xx
Thanks for sharing your story I mainly do a couple of your older videos from 2 and 3 years ago but I did the latest one which was hard but great. Lovely to see you talk for longer too ❤️
I LOVED this thanks so much for sharing. It would be interesting to know how you edit your videos afterwards (especially sinking audio and visual)
Thanks for sharing your story. You look beautiful and radiant! You are my favourite YouTube yoga instructor as you are genuine and down to earth. I have gotten to enjoy yin yoga through your videos. It’s nice to see Luna too!
Count find it in Android Play Store. Is this app only for iPhones??
Maybe its cos im sober, but I’m convinced Yoga = how to get fucked comfortably
Glad to see you actually have something in your coffee cup. A lot of people use an empty cup just to appear relaxed.
Thanks for sharing your story! I’d love to see a video about teacher training, what the process is like, etc. Keep up with the good work:)
It’s great to know you at a personal level. I seldom comment, but wanted to tell you that you are a great yoga teacher. Found you about a year ago and love your style, helpful explanations and your voice complements the package for me. I also love your minimal cues videos. Thank you Kassandra for your contribution to my yoga journey!
i want to see her calming heavy breathing down after workout and reach coregasm
How do you capture audio? Through the camera or a separate audio file?
I loved hearing your story. I’m have taken classes here and there over the past few years but I have really connect with your classes over the past month and have begun practicing several times a week. You are awesome!!
Kassandra, YOU are the reason I got so passionate about yoga the first time I did one of your classes I fell in love, and a couple years late my love for yoga has only grown! Sharing yoga with us is definitely your calling! Thank you <3
My Sweet friend Kassandra, i LOVE LOVE LOVE you sweet friend, and i LOVE sweet Luna too
This has been my go to relaxation nap in the afternoon while working here in India as a doctor between my duties.. Thanks
Hi, very nice video, new friend with you, pressed red button for you, please do the same for me!
The lighting is really terrible though from a professional view. Window too bright and no backlight. Great audio and personality is why I watch. Lighting would ruin new yoga teachers just starting out. You don’t want a face to be blazed out white with light so quality looks low 320. Helpful otherwise
Hi beautiful friends!! If you didn’t know, last month I completed my yoga teacher training here in bali! I’m now a certified yoga teacher!! So exciting hehe… anyways I wanted to share my experience with you because I figured it would help anyone interested in doing the same. Hope you enjoy!
No it wasn’t boaring and you weren’t rambling:) I love your voice.
Hiii Lizzy
I do yog nidra daily but today I did with you.It was quite relaxing. I liked your voice
Never really been a believer in meditation practice or the benefit it may provide me personally but I have followed this through three times now, twice consecutively! Amazingly beneficial to my wellbeing and relaxation. Thank you Lizzie, I chose this video as my maiden name was Hill so there you go, that was my thinking! Bless you, thanks Lizzie for sharing Yoga Nidra with us, your voice is your power and your beauty♀️
If everyone on this planet did this session once a day, it would be much better place to live:) thank you!
I have a hard time “feeling” body parts and at the same time keeping completely still. So when she mentions a body part, including Game of Thrones’s “Littlefinger”, I imagine that body part glowing with bright green light.
I started my daily practise because of YOU. Its been almost 2 years now and I truly thank you
I have no adequate words to express my opinion and effect of this Yoga Nidra session This YogaNidra session is beyond my vocal response However I do not want to fail in expressing my personal feelings of grateful thanks to you Lizzy Hill.God bless you dear
Love love love this! Best yoga sequence for runners. Nice pace and beautiful music.
I enjoyed watching your video so much! Thank you for sharing
Hi dear Kassandra, this video is very interesting, thank you. You asked if we had some curiosities to ask you. Well, I’ve two. The first is how can you dress light oufit in Ottawa when I wear jumper, woolen socks and so on during winter!!! And I can’t tell you what I wear during yin…:-p Second question (sorry), how can you eat/drink your “breakfast”?! Maybe it”s because I’m italian but I would never drink a “mash” like that! (sorry <3) Hope didn't hurt you.
I am using this to help become one with myself and help with my self love. thank you for this. I love it
My yoga friend at work mentioned taking a Teacher Training as soon as she found out I practiced. I’m mentally not there yet, even though I’ve been practicing for over 5 years. Too many different styles, and I’m trying to find something that puts less pressure on my wrists.
I love “coming home” to you. I love your Yin classes, I love your style and your voice. Thank you for being here. And yes, I’d like to hear about your YouTube journey.
This is life changing but I always wake up at the end and desperately need one for sleep. Any chance you can make one similar to this that allows us to drift off to a restful slumber?
My names Ida and my sisters name is May, what a coincidence!!!
Never got a chance to listen her completely…before she actually start I would have gone in sleep state already
This was so interesting!
I often wonder about these things when I watch YouTube videos. Thanks for sharing and loved seeing out the window to Ottawa. I always knew you must be a beautiful Canadian. Thanks!
Goes too fast. Doesn’t give adaptations for those of us who are less flexible.
Thank you for sharing all this! Couldn’t find any videos on how to film fitness videos. Definitely not as easy as it looks! Starting to do my own fitness videos and definitely feel that renting a yoga studio would be a great investment. Thank you for all the tips and ideas!
I got into yoga almost 20 years ago because my sister died and I wanted to learn meditation to connect with her. Luckily, my first teacher was phenomenal and I knew this was going to change my life. Your channel is my favorite online, I’m more of a live class person or practice by myself. I like following your guidance and I do steal parts of your sequences for my classes. Yin is my absolute favorite too! I have never gone deeper in any other style. Thank you for sharing your style with us and Namaste.
Thank you for this. As this ended, I found myself humming. And I know that humming and sound releases what we hold within. And now I’m going to keep humming
I just found your channel!! You’re so beautiful and calm. I love the way you explain your journey. Thank you for sharing!
Wow my yoga story is almost the same as yours, I was a dancer and that is why I started to practice yoga (to be more flexible), I no longer dance but last year I graduated from my YTT
Neat flow. Never seen the first move or the cat/cow in the half splits. Thanks, Ida!
Really love your openess Kassandra thank you so much for sharing and for your wonderful classes, I really look forward to them. Good luck on all your future endeavours.
I never realized how much work this filming is!
It was very interesting. Thank you for sharing this with us!
Kassandra, really fascinating! I have always wondered how you make your videos. Very cool. Thank you for sharing!!
Good flow but very quick pace and not restorative. Instructor forgot the hamstring stretches on the left side.
Yoga nidra is very good tool indeed. This is one of my tool when I feel bit anxious and not able to taken away my awareness from what ever I am thinking I use this meditation and before it end I will be snoring. It must be used not to fall sleep. But for me it is great tool to calm down my inner radio
I practice it regularly after my yoga class. Its amazing. thankyou
Thank you fro sharing your story with us… I like this coffee and chat segmentone suggestion I have: create a playlist for the coffee and chat portion of your channel.
Hi Kassandra, I’ve just discovered your yoga and I’m loving your short 10 minute practices to start my day off. I’ve tried other instructors on YouTube but you’re the only one I’ve found that I enjoy, you are just so natural and easy to listen to. I’m almost 40 and starting to feel those aches and pains and stiffness and felt it was important to do something to alleviate these. I only wish I had carried it on years ago when I did a small course at 21! I’ve dabbled a wee bit over the years but nothing has stuck and I do believe it is the teacher as well.
Hoping these sessions and longer ones will help my flexibility and over all health.
This is very nice. it’s true it gives positive energy throughout.Thankyou Mam
Love this video, Kassandra! Come to think of it, I love all
Of your videos. I’d like to see how you edit your videos next…the production side of things. More video about how you film and create your sequences would be wonderful too. Thx so much for being so open about everything. I’ve learned a lot from you.
Whenever I feel like I have nothing to live for, I do this exercise and then the world is okay again for a couple hours
Pls. speak slower…. Hablo español and I love your instructions in English. You helped me to improve my body stretching and English. I love both. Hello from Santiago Chile. kisses

I use this every night it helps me so much I fall asleep in under 10 minutes now, thanks
27:44 she said “4 of each (leg) equals 12” LOL! Great yoga session though… been doing it for a week straight. Thank you!!
great meditation! thank you for posting it. I had a very good afternoon rest
Good stuff, I started following you because of not connecting w styles of many teachers…So true. My flexibility suffered after not being in gymnastic after “growing up” and I needed to release stress and lymph flow.
Loads of love to you Kassandra, for being so real, down to earth and generally amazing! You’re one of my biggest inspirations for planning my own future and I feel so lucky to be able to incorporate your amazing teaching of yoga into my every day life:) Sharing these incredibly helpful bits of information just make me love you even more! Keep being your unbelievably awesome self girl! So much gratitude Xxxx
Thank you so much for filming this! It inspired me to finally start my own channel after thinking about it for a long time
Thanks Kassandra for the Coffee Chat…very informative and i could definitely relate with alot of it especially with the drive, competition, past passion about other fitness activities. Great time spent here! Namaste.
My favorite ❤️❤️❤️Beautiful and calm voice. Make me feel peaceful. Enjoy it a lots. Do it almost everyday. Thank you so much, Lizzy
