I just got into running. When I went to my local store they measured me and recorded my run and told me my ankle pronated when I ran.
I got the Brooks Adrenaline 20 and even walking in these is game changing.
Hi. Glad I came across your videos. Would you be able to recommend a
similar shoe to the Adidas Supernova Sequence 2 or 3 before they
significantly changed the design. They stopped making this model several
years ago, in 2014 I think, and the extra pairs I purchased are now
very much at the end of their lifespan! Hope you can help. Cheers. G.
New runner doing couch to 5k and i had shin spints bought these shoes because of this review and a wet foot test but now i have knee pain aswell. Not sure if i should buy a neutral shoe now, oh and the pain is only in left leg
i bought my first running shoe as i became to get serious, it was the kayano 25 wide version. I really love it because i have a lower arch and it feels perfect. im thinking of getting another pair of shoe(i have a wide foot and lower arch). im thinking of ds trainer 24 and going half a size up because this shoe does not have wide fit. i havw tried it on its just slightly tight at the front. when i up half a size the toe box feels ok but the heel is slipping by just a little. should i get it or get other shoe instead
Hi which one do you recommend for flat foot? Recently I tried the brooks adrenaline gts 18 and those felt great unfortunately I didn’t get in the correct size, other great shoe for me was new balance 1260 v4. I’ve tried under armour hovr guardian and Kayano 24 with no great results. Hope you guys can help me, regards from Mexico
No ASICS GT 4000 or New Balance 860? Both more stable than the Hurricane and Adraneline.
Hi! I’m trying to find the perfect trainer as getting back into running after suffering from knee pain for years. I have completely flat feet, slightly overpronate and get knee and hip flexor pain. Considering either saucony guide 13 or asics kayano-26, what would be your opinion? I like a shoe with a fair amount of cushioning to absorb impact.
I Have a really flat feet I mean its stuck on the ground whats you prefer to me please?
I have flat feet and wide feet, and need a wide toe box…I also land flat…my right ankle was broken 2 years ago, and I have started to walk 5 miles a day on the road up and down hills. I get a lot of shin pain. Please recommend a good stability shoe. Thank you.
I overpronate and have flat feet, not fallen arches I never had arches. It runs in the family unfortunately so running is rough on both my feet, ankles and knees. This video has been helpful though as Ive been looking into things to help with running.
Hey guys, im sort of at wits end. If you could help me out if you have any knowledge, that would be great. I ha e posterior tibial tendonitis, and i need to find a shoe thats good for it. I dont know any, i was thinking a stability shoe w arch support. Any suggestions?
I have pronated feet. Tried the Altra paradigm 4.5 and hated them. 2 months later I wanted to give them another try. I took out the insole and my feet felt great. Before my arches and shins would hurt. I couldn’t even walk down the street without my arches gettin tight and hurting. Try taking out the insole
Where would you guys put the new balance Vongo v4 in comparison to these options? Do you think it’s a good shoe for mid-forefoot strikers?
I have got gT 2000 post a run assessment a few years ago but looking to switch I got flat feet and over probate getting some knee pain and keen to get something that reduces impact on joints ideally a nice light shoes would be goodany ideas to balance weight with support thx
Thank u very much u was very helpful I always struggle to buy comfort shoes for work specially that my work requires all the time walk around the hospital
I bought nike infinity reacts after watching a range of videos. You guys were spot on they weren’t supportive enough (I ran previously in zoom structures). You were one of the few channels to say it and not be taken in by the hype!

Damn you guys are by far top guys in comparing the shoes and actually talking about the technology in the shoe.
Hi guys. Thank you for the video. I have very low arches and I supinate (my shoes wear out on the outside). I am 210 pounds and I want to go on long power walks to shed some of my weight off. What shoe would you recommend for me?
Lay off the bong, Shaggy. Maybe this will make sense if you’re not high.
What’s your opinion on rotating a 12 mm adrenaline 20 with a 8mm hurricane 22? Also long term what’s your opinion on form progression running in something as high as 12mm? Thanks
I have flat feet, but I have problem with the balls of my feet starting to burn after about 30 mins so it restricts me in terms of distance I can just about manage a 10k before it becomes to much.
My feet are completely flat, and have been my whole life. Amazingly, I don’t have many issues, but I have avoided running a lot throughout my life. I prefer cardio like kickboxing and other martial arts for that reason. But I’m starting to run a few 5Ks a week now, and just bought some Triumph 17s! Glad to see you give them props. Very happy about my purchase, I will report back on Weds when they get here 😉
I may have flat feet but I can make a fart noise with them on tile:D
Can’t wait to delve deep into this. been running most of my life but just recently upped my mileage to 50k/week and I’m starting to have some of that nagging pain come back. things that have helped me: video yourself running, specifically your feet. if you see that overpronation, you know you gotta make an adjustment.
my one irk with stability shoes is the weight. I always felt like running in something lighter made my feet feel so much more responsive. I was running in Mizuno Wave 13s and hated them, but I just recently switched back to an old favourite Nike Pegasus 35 Turbo and a flatter New Balance FuelCell Echos in hoping of building up my arch with some more focused forefoot running….this has ultimately just resulted in a good amount of money spent and a pain in my left ankle.
maybe time to look at the 860s, or Kayanos, or the 50+ options. gonna start with a superfeet green because its a cheaper option, and go from there. have been doing some rotational movements during screen time, same thing with me. slow going, and sometimes the ankle is so sore that I can’t do the more aggressive single-hops over a towel or what not. great video though, thanks bud
Hi great video, I have the same problem, I’ve tried the superfeet insoles but can’t really feel the support tbh. I have a problem with finding shoes which will cover arch support and overpronation. Speaking in terms of arch support, what do you think about Asics Gel Kayano, let’s say the latest models?
