Been walking with Leslie for over a year and it is so great to find a Leslie workout I have never done before!
Will begin by saying that I’ve been walking with Leslie S videos for years but as I got more fit, I felt more confident walking outside. Decided to plot out her video to a 3 mile route in my neighborhood. Looks like, while walking in time with her pace music, I only walked 2.7 miles. It’s still 40 minutes of excellent cardio, but just thought I’d share that information with others.
I really hope you enjoyed this 30 minute workout xx you should feel so proud of yourself for finishing this workout. Make sure you cool down with a stretch. I think you’ll really enjoy this 5 minute full body stretching routine which will help recovery and increase mobility⬇️

10 months ago I developed very badly 2 types of vertigo with attacks nearly every day sometimes twice a day….and the kilos are starting to pile up on me as the attacks lasts for hours and knock me right of my socks and sleep an lot. So tomorrow morning I will start joining you with the exercise. I have to start with breaks in between as I have lost most of my energy and motivation…..but I am determent to get back to my old self.

Day 14I done this one again as I really enjoyed it. Would recommend doing this one if you want a HIIT workout, it’s just a bit slower then a HIIT but it burns like one and it really gets to work:)

The walking videos are great but I wished Leslie didn’t talk way too much which makes her miss her counting not to mention distraction when you are focus.

Great routine. Did this several times now and feeling it when done. No luck with the sit ups, need to weight my feet I guess, so just do more Russian twists. Have three exercise steps so also do 15 min of nonstop stair climbing with 2lb wrist weights while watching music videos to keep a quick rythm.

I’ve just discovered these programmes while in Coronavirus lockdown and I’m loving them! For all of my 60+ years I hated formal exercise, too boring and my concentration was hopeless! These are lively and pack so much variety in I don’t get bored. Don’t get me wrong I’m very glad no one can see me (!) but I like the ‘being part of the group’ while on my own. Put simply, I can tell it works for me as I actually WANT to join in. Thank you to everyone involved.

I started by doing your arm exercises and now do several of your videos. My sister recently started to follow you after she came over and I showed her the videos. Now she gets excited and has to text me to tell me how many of them she has done in a day. I am so glad she is so excited about exercise because I think she needs it not only for her health, but her mind.

I didn’t know walking workouts were a thing, but I love it! It’s perfect for those days when you want to get some thing in but you’re either too sore for a more intense workout or just pressed for time.

I can’t say I liked the toning or the walking best I really like having them intermixed and I feel they are both more effective that way!
It’s very weird, but I used to do those crazy HIIT workouts where you’d constantly injure yourself doing crazy high impact moves and since switching to these I’ve noticed my back and thighs have become less bulky. Which is what I wanted. I feel the HIIT was doing too uch progressive over load in areas I don’t want to make larger-really my bum is the only place I’m working on making larger LOL. So while you do have to workout longer to have the same caloric burn a a cardio replacement, I do feel it’s less stressful on your body and therefore more doable. I mean if you injure yourself you’re less likely to work out. So even on bad days during allergy season-where I can hardly breath, or on my ‘time of the month’, I can still do something that makes me feel like I’m maintaing my fitness/gainz and emotional stability.:). But yes, I would like to see maybe a 40 mins one with longer strength training intervals, simple moves, nothing crazy that way everyone can still do it, but go at their own pace!

Hi Holly, I’m so glad I found you, I started going to the gym just 1 month after all this COVID 19 contingency, so I had to leave it. But I discovered your quarantine routine and I have been doing it day by day along with this 20 min workout.
The first days I couldn’t complete most of the toning exercises, but since yesterday I noticed that now I can and I am looking for more of your routines to complement my workouts!!! I do them every morning and then start my day, besides feeling stronger, I have a better mood now. Thanks for all of that!!!

Lucy, love your workouts but have not been able to do the last few months because of sciatica. Have you ever tried foam roller exercises or using one of those massage rollers for painful, tight muscles? I would like to know how to do those exercises. I am going to try this one and see if I can get through painless!
Ive been looking for a 3 mile walk i can do and i LOVE this one. I don’t have the stretchy bands so instead i just walk in place or do kicks while during that part so im still getting a workout. I’ve gone from 299 to 244 thanks and praise and glory to God for blessing my workouts i find here. God bless you reading this.❤

As an asthmatic I need to keep exercising, so I don’t tend to go too fast with this class,haven’t been able to finish all of it yet.
I started doing this yesterday morning and night and I like how the intensity slowly increases and how motivating lucy is. I’ve been trying to lose some weight this quarantine and I think I’m going to continue doing this daily.

I really liked this workout!! I have issues with my right side, but was able to do everything that was shown & I worked up that sweat. I plan on doing this on a regular basis. Thank you for putting this out their. I am over 50 so I don’t think you should limit it to a specific age group as I feel anyone can benefit from doing these simple exercises.

I can’t imagine not waking up in the morning and doing your workouts! It gives me a sense of accomplishment. My day feels super incomplete if I don’t.

I have been working out forever and even competed in figure. But this quarantine has me scrambling to find stuff to do as I don’t have at home equipment. I appreciate your no nonsense workouts. Holly’s workout is perfect for my schedule! I work full time from 9Am-6PM and I usually don’t have time to work out after that cause I gotta fix dinner and tidy up the house. Instead I slip in 20 mins of this workout at 7:30AM and I’m good for the day as it might look simple but it really kicks your butt! I’m going on my second week now, might start incorporating some baby weights in. Thanks Holly! ❤️

This might seem weird because I’m randomly sharing this on YouTube but I really need help, a few months ago (around 5-6) I was unhappy with my body and felt uncomfortable with it so I decided to change that, I started eating smaller portions, stopped snacking, checking labels, no treats and hardly any carbs (or main carbs only at lunch) I also started home workouts and I’ve been doing them for about 5 months nearly everyday (normally 20 minutes hitt/full body, 30 minutes abs and 10 minutes of legs) As I had an eating disorder in the pass, my parents are worried I’m going down the same road again so my mum weighed me today and I was 5 kilos less than 5 months ago, she got really upset, both my parents now want me to put on weight and change. But I don’t know how, I am finally happy and comfortable with my body and now I’m too skinny and need to apparently put on weight. Does anyone know how to put on weight but keeping your body more or less the same? Or even more toned? Any tips? I’m sorry I’m just really stuck

Thank you so much for sharing these videos! I thought that I would burn more calories by walking with 2 pound weights while walking as well as some of the other exercises. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. On the other hand, I burned more calories and acheived more steps than doing nothing. I will continue to these daily! Thanks again! I have breathing problems and looked at a lot of exercise videos. This one got my heart rate up but I was still able to breath at the end of the program. Nick has such a positive personality and always makes me feel super encouraged and happy whilst exercising/walking/dancing (in training for that “wedding” lol) whatever you may call it around my family room with a Cheshire cat kinda grin on my face. I love the fact that this features people of all sizes, not just the super slim and clearly already fit and healthy folks. It helps the rest of us see that it can be done and to keep on going without feeling discouraged by all the body images seen everywhere around us, including in exercise videos.

I really like the indoor walking. It is very usefull and motivating to see the time running. Thank you Holly.
Love the music. I improvise on my rebounder and love the 30 sec intervals. I have to say, I do not know how you burn over 300 calories. My heart rate monitor is set for my age, gender and weight. In 45 minutes on my rebounder with this video I burned 280 kcals. I do 50 minute spin workouts on my home spin bike and usually burn up to 500 kcals. My HR averages 130 with low 105 and high 155. I’m pretty fit, and I realize my HR monitor isn’t extremely accurate, but 300 kcals for a beginner workout seems high.

Love love this! I don’t want to go outside on my own (not always safe in South Africa for a female to walk alone), so I do this at home. And what is great, I can just open it on my phone. We have loadshedding and there is not always electricity to watch it on TV. Great! Love Lucy and the fact that getting in shape is not so overwhelming with her.

I usually get 90% of my exercise walking. Since we’ve been on lockdown here in Kathmandu, I’ve been missing it. This little workout was a great substitutewith the bonus of trees!:) So glad to find this channelsubscribed and will recommend as well!

I love this walk and I really love the interaction of all the exerciser but Michael is my favorite. I love his style. I do 20 minutes with Curtis Adams and then I do this walk or another one with Rocky or Nick and I get my 30 minutes of cardio and balance in for the day. She is right you never regret doing exercise.
