What’s the recipe for the first potatoes dish? looks dank af
thank you my friend your video was very helpful. big thumbs up ❤
from Iraq
Potatoes are awesome, white and sweet, combine with broccoli, cauliflower, peas, carrots and some herbs/spices and you have an amazing satisfying super food meal which isn’t even expensive lol
I like you health advice. Your one of the few health gurus that make sense. Eliminating the polyunsaturated fats from my diet healed my fatty liver disease.
Remember guys, you need 4700mg of potassium a day, 1 medium potato has nearly 1g of potassium! Alternative is to eat a ridiculous amount of beetroot & leaves, swiss chard or such. Plus here’s a big thing, you can retrograde potato by cooking and storing in the fridge for 24hrs then reheat as mentioned in the vid, don’t just cool for half an hour.
I have them air fried with chicken, tenserstem broccoli and soup.
They are nightshade family, high glycemic and full of starch which makes me bloated… i switched to keto and feel better but still miss carbs!
What’s the recipe at 2:58 broseidon? I’ll get yacked if I meal prep that for work for sure
I have listened to information about how carbs were connected with excess fat and therefore basically to keep clear of carbohydrates, at the same time had certainly not regarded using them to lose the weight. The number one thought behind the 4 stage fat loss treatment is to train your entire body to burn fat for energy in place of carbohydrate. https://truehealthreport.com/eat-stop-eat-review-journey/
Just don’t eat potatoes by itself. I dice green beans with carrots, zucchinis and potatoes. Then I boil them for about 15 mins. While I cook minced low fat meat with olive oil and diced onion until they turned brown. After that, you turn off the fire and put the lid on the pan for about 5 mins so that the juices come out and you add your drained boiled veggies and you let it cook on low heat. You will finish by putting back the lid and when it cooled down you serve it. enjoy the healthy meal:)
IMPOSSIBLE!!!
40 Pounds?? After A Year? AND A HALF?? AND YOU EAT TONS OF POTATOES?? ONLY 40?? Dude…I have been eating only potatoes NO SWEET POTAOES ( Because They Are Not Really Potaoes) since January 1st, 2020 AND I HAVE ALREADY LOST 30 Pounds almost.
Am I the only one that think this guy looks like Elliot Yamin (and he’s wearing a Britney Spears shirt).
obsessed with potatoes. they are life changing. digests so easily, so much energy, and super good for hormones!
Potatoes are shit. Turns to sugar straight away, and feed yeast, bacteria and viruses. Probably causes cancer. Your pseudoscience is shit
Been cooking yellow potatoes in a crockpot then cooing them in the fridge foe a year now it’s done wonders for me, My heaviest was 277 now I’m 177 feel great
Thermodiet is bs, it gave me the same thing on every option. Dont listen to this guy, he is lying. Not on his ideas but his recommendations, everything on that website is the exact same thing on every option. Do it yourself, it’s fake he is fake. Potatoes are good but he in general is a liar. Dont trust him.
Thank you so much for this video bro. I been scared of carbs at first until my body bout went into shock and I’ve learned how important carbs are. Now I’ve been wondering if potatoes were good or bad. This helps so much. Definitely a thumbs up from me.
Thank you for reporting the truth about carbohydrates, specifically starch. Starch is what should make up the bulk of our calories. Potatoes specifically are something everyone should eat daily.
I thought that you have to leave them in the fridge over night to get the resistance starch to work… are you saying just to cook and eat the potato?????? please update.. confused.
This channel cracks me up. The owner, Christopher has a video where he rightfully talks about how most people don’t think for themselves, but then goes on to basically become a mouthpiece for the sugar industry.
We know sugar causes obesity.
Fructose causes obesity.
In fact, it is nature’s weight gaining chemical.
Dr Richard Johnson proves it in his video, The Origins of Obesity and the Fattening of Man.
Sugar does trigger obesity, as well as metabolic syndrome and diabetes.
I, Dr Richard Johnson and Dr Robert Lustig agree.
It’s True.

potatoes are my fave source of carbs. Grains like rice just make me more hungry
Thank you so much for speaking on this. I disagree with the trend now thinking that all carbs are bad. Good job!
Does the glycemic index in fresh baked potatoes really matter? Is the extra couple of grams of resistance starch from cooling that beneficial if you already eat a lot of fiber from things like avocado?
I am drinking it right now … Boy I love me some tequila. Makes me hotttt and it makes you smarter… plus!
Diluted when made into tequila? So I need to consume more? Got it.
There’s not a lot of talk and I don’t know details… but it’s not good to cook potatoe skins in oven… best boiled, sautéed or steamed… probably the little potatoes are better for styeaming and you get more skin… my understanding is that there is a chemical reaction that makes the skins unhealthy when baked… just sayin’… I don’t know what the reality is… just heard this recently…. more research needs to be done
After hitting a plateau on healthy keto (which helped a lot.) I started researching resistant starch and now I incorporate organic potatoes, and organic sweet potatoes! Amazing results!
Potato’s are members of the nightshade family so dont replace all your meals with them. You’ll get sick. Still eat them though.
its helps with heart health because its one of the highest potassium sources you can eat which is one of the main things ur heart runs on that with sodium and its got magnesium as well. these are the big three ur heart runs on.
it depends on what 14 pounds are? is it water weight? fat loss? or atrophy?
I’ve read that potatoes should be avoided because they have a high amount of oxalates that can cause kidney stones
Tequila is good for me.
Cuz im good to tequila.
And tequila luvs me
Forever
all I eat is potatoes and absorb nutrients from the air becuase of your channel. Thanks Chis!
I tried zero carb, it wasn’t for me, it literally seemed to reduce my ability to recuperate post workout
Golden potatoe, coconut oil and sea salt. Wrap in foil bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
Christopher, tell us about nutrients in cooked potato. Vit c gets damaged by cooking. Tell us what you know about water cooking and frying and nutrients. Thanks
potatoes, any kind, cooked anyway, have ALWAYS been my FAVORITE food! knowing this, i will NOW eat some on a daily basis!!!
100 gram boiled potatoes based nutrition fact only have 18 gram carb..
I don’t understand, where the rest 82 gram go to???
I love boiled potatoes (Yellow or red skin intact). Sliced up and dipped in salt with every bite YUM!
I like cutting them into sticks and making oil-free fries in the oven. Bake at 450 F for 50 minutes on a non-stick cooking sheet. Season accordingly.
mmmm tequila! I cant believe you cracked your neck. yikes. haha love your story about going to mexico.
Thanks, mate. You answered a question I couldn’t find. I can reheat my potatoes and still have them resistant. Finally. Thanks again, mate. No more cold spuds for me.
I subscribed based off the fact that any person who supports my love of potatoes is a friend of mine. Click. lolll
Steam them in an instant pot. They’ll retain more nutrients this way. It’s also fast and easy.
Not to mention the thumbnail! Is that what it’s called? The thumbnail?
Does potato makes you fat? I am considering potato in my diet now..
Potatoes are awesome because the keep you full for sooooo soooo long
The informations your coming out with its getting me Shocked I done more Research about your infos and they all make sense!!! I HAD TO SUBSCRIBE!!!! THERE ARE SO MANY LIES I’VE BEEN TAUGHT.
Since I’ve stop eating meat only fish and increase my healthy carbs fruit and veggies I feel amazing…Don’t take the skin off the potatoes
Potatoes keep your stomach full but they only have less than 100kcal/100g if you boil them. Rice on the other hand has over 300kcal/100g when boiled and pasta has over 300kcal/100g. I like to boil them without peeling them first so the flavor stays rich and it doesn’t lose as many vitamins and minerals.
its very important to eat the skins swell as most of the nutrients are stored in the skins! don’t waste the skins people!
Sterliiiing! You’re insane and this got better as it went on
Is it any and all potatoes or does it have to be Idaho potatoes?
I trust you 100% my life felt so much better since 1 year ago thnx a lot!
and when you pair herbs that help body balance sugar you can make the most of potato:)
Very interesting. What would be a typical day of eating for you?
Potatoes is something I refuse to give up. Every Saturday is sweet potato pancakes!
Don’t resistant starch increase endotoxin production? And when consuming starch, isn’t it better to cook it down to nearly pure sugar since large starch molecules can pass through the intestinal wall through persorption and can damage the cells?
Potatoes are some of the most heavily sprayed crops. Just saying.
No GMO. No gluten. High in fiber. Grows almost anywhere. Doesn’t require much care. Loaded with minerals. I try to stay away from grains in favor of the potato.
.i.always get told I shouldn’t eat them, but I don’t listen I don’t ike rice., I sometimes have pasta, but I mostly have potato love it
lol when i think potatoes are healthy…. its full of sugar, gives a lovely insulin spike, has hardly any nutrients compared to liver. in a nutshell potatoes are useless and harmful
5:54 Olive oil isn`t meant to be cooked with as it becomes carcinogenic under high heat. It is a LOW HEAT oil. Coconut and Grape Seed are excellent high heat oils.
What’s the point of putting pesticides on soil when the potato grows underground?
Love potatoes! Used to eat rice, which is fine but potatoes are a lot more filling. Mixed with chicken or beef in a bowl, crazy filling and tasty.
its fun drink!! its fun drink!! stressed too much on its a Funn!! drink!!
@ChristopherWalker… I find your channel interesting. Thank you for your content. However what about the lectins that reside inside of the potatoes that lead to gut inflammation and leaky gut issues. Can’t eating too many night shades impact the gut micro-biom in a negative way and also prevent the absorption of other key nutrients? They’ve been called in some circles “Anti-Nutrients” I would love to hear your thoughts on this topic. ps. I’m not crapping on potatoes. I love potatoes.. I’m looking for a good reason to add them back into my diet more.. I just need to get past the lectin issue that is looming over the heads of these root foods… Thoughts?
Nicola Tesla spoke highly of potatoes.
Good enough for me, I doubt we will see a man of his caliber again.
Don’t peel them!!! All the nutritional content is in the skin! Real Butter too! Enjoy!
Science denies it but my 99 year old gramps is what i look up to.
Peoplez iz such alcoholics these days >.< use it for rinsing and rubbing. Save from ( a very ) occasional cup of vine, alcohol is simply bad for you. Yes, tequila included, and yes Bourbon Whiskey included... >.<
this video is fucken stupid. No matter what “good” u will find in alcohol bottom line is it still fucks with your critical thinking part of the brain as well as the Hypothalamus and your liver and kisneys.
