Hmm.. I am looking at this grated zucchini and thinking that it would be great in a spaghetti sauce. No need to make zoodles or chop things too fine. I know that wasn’t your point, but, still: thank you for the good idea.
Have you checked with a nutritionist about cutting vegetables in advance. From what I have read, the more the surface area of the vegetables comes in contact with oxygen in the air, the more vitamins are lost from the vegetables. So eventually you end up eating only the fibres.

Salad spinners are only “single use” if you aren’t creative. Gets water out of pasta real well, just have to think out of the box!:D

Once you cut out the necessary foods to become vegan, how do you make sure that you lose weight and not gain? Being that potatoes and lentils and beans are full of carbs. Not saying that I’m doing it for weight loss but I surely do not want to gain.

Rule #1 about nutrition. Never listen to a young persons’ advice about nutrition. They don’t have a clue about nutrition in the first place.
I don’t care if somebody is a nutritionist, doctor, dietician or obesity researcher. If they are under 40, I’m almost certain they don’t understand nutrition.
Young people lack the experience to understand it.
A young person can basically eat anything they want and still feel great. It’s older people who have eaten a standard American diet who have gotten sick and fat who have had to question the governments’ advice and actually experiment with different diets to find out which will make them healthy.
Some older people never figure it out.
The sources I listen to about nutrition always have the same story…the same story as I have experienced…that the advice about diet and nutrition we get from our doctor or the government has lead to nothing but sickness, weight gain and feeling crappy all of the time. At some point, we all have an A_HA moment where we realize that we have been lied to by the government. We all figure out that standard diet and nutrition advice has been misrepresented by the government and commercial interests as well as egotistical researchers who forced this bogus diet advice on us in a pursuit of profits, prestige and ego.
The truth about nutrition has nothing to do with the advice you have learned from the establishment sources.
It is really easy to figure out nutrition once you see it from an evolutionary and genetic perspective instead of a establishment, profit motive perspective.
Everything you made sounds and looks delicious I had lunch while I watched this and I had tuna mixed with Greek yogurt on a slice of Ezekiel toast and a side of grilled asparagus ☺️
Your comment on organic produce when you talk about strawberries at minute 6, is quite wrong. They’re not lower in pesticides but just as bad (including in synthetic pesticides) as “conventional”. The definition of “organic” has been gamed a lot.

Love your channel. But I’ve attempted to prepare your paleo zucchini bread twice. Each time the combination of exact dry and wet ingredients is dry and mealy. I don’t know what more to add to make it a batter that pours. The result: Bread does not rise, is kinda squat. But delicious. Do you know what accounts for the salty taste with 1/4 tsp of salt. Is it the nut flours.

real organic strawberries are perfectly red when you cut them in the middle no white should ever be present. That’s how I grew up eating them here in Europe and that’s how I eat them to this day. Same goes for the tomatoes, fully organic ripe tomatoes should never have white inside, they should be red all the way –

Looks really tasty. I like the video showing breakfast lunch and dinner. The only thing I would do differently is she used cooked (red) prawns. Better to use raw prawns (green) and cook for only a couple minutes so they stay juicy.

That tuna salad looks amazing. I’d love to see more portable food ideas, I always struggle with snacks when im on the go. I’m on crutches permanently so carrying bulky food containers isn’t an option for me.

Dinner tonight was my veggie cheats ravioli lasagna. But I think next time I’ll do a beschemel sauce and maybe layer the ravioli with slices of aubergine the next time I make it. I’m lactose free so I use dairy free butter, lactose free cheese and oat milk to make the sauce x when I do a beschemel x ( sorry for the spelling) x
Why not juice the zuccini? Save the juice for a smoothy? Use the zuc pulp?idk why i cringed watching that nutricious green zuc juice go down the drain. Also hard boiled eggs are great in leftover pickle juice, add beets& it turns into art!

I stopped eating white bread, sugars and processed food.
Lunch and dinner: I only eat carbs in one of these meals (quinoa is my favourite), I measure the size of the protein with the palm of my hand (I love seitan, jack fruit, vegan burgers, tofu..) and eat salad on both meals (I like watercress with onion, tomato and olive oil dressing).
At breakfast I eat Weetabix Protein with coconut unsweetened milk, banana and Shia seeds.
In the middle of the morning I usually eat a tangerine.
If I feel hungry late at night have rice crackers with avocado. I have a treat at the weekend. I do exercise (HIIT or full body free weights training) 3 times a week. I drink plenty of water (small sips during the day).
Sometimes, between meals, I eat olives or unsalted dry fruits (pistachios, almonds) but not very often.
You know, I had been subscribed to your channel but hadn’t received anything and so I just re-hit the bell and hopefully I’ll receive your videos because you offer many things that I am interested in cooking. Plant-based with some protein from dairy products and fish. Looking forward to receiving more videos as you post them.

**BTW…I just made over the weekend, your recipe for Easy Grilled Garlic Herb Shrimp. And it was AMAZING!!!! My New Favorite Shrimp Recipe! Sooooo Good! I made it just like you described w/ the parsley, & Cilantro. And kept some of the marinade on the side to add more of that garlicky goodness that we garlic freaks LOVE!!! I can’t wait to make it again!!!!

All 3 of these were delicious! We were amazed! We didn’t have tamari but used a little miso paste and soy sauce and it worked really well. Don’t skip on the almonds in the cabbage and carrot slaw. The crunch added was perfect. The veggie fritters were actually our favorite. The two of us ate 2 each. Next time I’ll double the recipe so we have enough for 2 nights. Highly recommend all 3!
