5 SWEET POTATO TOAST Recipes! Easy and Quick!

Preparation. Place 2 sweet potato slices in a toaster and toast on highest setting through 2 to 3 cycles, until warmed through. Repeat with remaining 2 slices.
Spread each toasted sweet potato with 1 tablespoon yogurt. Top with sliced strawberries.Instructions.
Bake the Sweet PotaTOASTS, from the makers of CAULIPOWER according to the package instructions. Combine the cream cheese and sugar and mix well. Spread the cream cheese over the Sweet PotaTOASTS, from the makers of CAULIPOWER.
Top with fresh strawberries.Cut sweet potato into thin slices, about ¼ inch (6 mm) thick. Place in toaster and set it to the maximum cook time. When it pops, flip the sweet potato slices.
Directions: Slice sweet potato into toast size slices. Put in toaster on the highest setting. Once it is toasted to your preference, layer with almond butter, bananas, strawberries and honey.
Toaster Instructions. Insert slices into toaster (similar to bread) and toast the slices on high. Alternatively, you can toast them in a toaster oven. After the sweet potatoes pop up from the toaster, check to see if they are fork tender, and toast.
Method Wash and dry the sweet potato. Slice the pointy ends of the sweet potato and then carefully cut into 6mm thick slices. Toast in a 4-slice toaster if available – otherwise in batches – for 4-5 minutes at a time, depending upon your toaster.Slice sweet potato lengthwise into 1/4″ thick slices. Check the sweet potatoes after it.I am only rating the sauce part of this recipe. I needed a strawberry sauce recipe for a cheese cake and only had a 16oz bag of frozen strawberries so I did a search for frozen strawberries and this is the recipe that came up.
I thawed the berries overnight in a.Tuck strawberry slices between and around the bread. Whisk eggs, milk, cream, sugar, lemon zest, almond extract, and salt together until well combined. Pour the egg mixture over the bread slices. Press down on the top of the bread to help the egg absorb; it’s okay if a little is in the bottom of the pan.
Trim both ends from the sweet potato using a knife. Slice sweet potato lengthwise into 1/4-inch thick slabs using a knife or mandolin slicer. Arrange slabs in a single layer on the wire rack.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until potatoes are tender but not fully cooked (watch to be sure they don’t burn!).Swap toast for taters! Go gluten-free with roasted slices of sweet potato you can make ahead and reheat in the toaster oven. These toasts are nutrient-dense and you can make them even healthier with one of our sweet or savory toppings, all are packed with.
Wrap sweet potato slices in a paper towel, and place on a microwave-safe plate. Microwave for 1 minute. Place slices in a toaster. Toast until cooked through and slightly crispy, 2 3 times./ Sweet Potato Strawberry Toast Recipe.

My mouth is watering watching you. Those are some great ideas. I stopped by because I was going to make some sweet potato fries and I’m so glad that I did. I told my husband that these will be great for us to snack on instead of us just grabbing anything out of the cabinet or fridge. I never thought of this before. I just subscribed and will be watching more of your videos!!!!!

Still have not mastered this…it always feel like I am eating raw crunchy sweet potatoes (with charred spots). Ideally I would love to get to a place where it is cooked AND it stays in that shape without falling apart…where I can then top it with yumminess! I still feel it needs to be baked first, but I cannot figure out how long to do that before it gets to the cooked, but not yet fluffy baked point!

I made this except used a toaster oven.
Then smeared with real butter, piled on sliced, smoked beef, drizzled on melted cheese, then wrapped it all in bacon. Served on top of sliced, fajita-style chicken.

You probably “toasted” that for 12 mins… you could just baked it in the oven for that length of time & not pissed around constantly checking it….

I sliced my sweet potato pretty thin, put it through 3 times…it did not cook through, and a little edge almost caught on fire. It doesn’t work. I did mine less than a quarter of an inch.
I normally just have plain avocado toast. But I like trying new things so I will be trying these out!!

Eating sweet potato toast, while watching ideas for sweet potato toast…
Instead of putting them in the toaster for 30minutes slice up the whole sweet potato and bake it then you can put it in a glass container and leave it in the fridge for up to a week. Whenever you want a slice you then toast it just the once as its already been cooked.
