Ingredients Ice 4 strawberries, sliced 6 basil leaves, roughly chopped 12 ounces sodium-free sparkling water.Strawberry Basil Sparkler. April 30, 2018. Instead of soda, reach for a sparkling water.

Strain the mixture into a cocktail glass and top with the remaining strawberries, basil leaf, ice and soda water.Muddle basil in the lemonade in a separate glass. In a champagne flute, combine champagne, Torani Syrup and basil Lemonade.Macerated strawberry and basil sparkler As the days warm up it’s time get that ice cube tray back in action. A thirst quenching and refreshing cocktail is a must for kicking off any alfresco fiesta.
By macerating the strawberries overnight in a little sugar you bring out the natural sweetness and enhance that fragrant fruitiness.In a medium saucepan, bring water and sugar to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves and the mixture is clear. Stir in fresh basil leaves, remove pan from heat, and allow mixture to sit for 35 minutes while basil steeps.
In a medium bowl, mash the strawberries with the lemon juice, until strawberries well crushed.In a cocktail shaker, combine strawberries, simple syrup, and lime juice and muddle until strawberries are completely dissolved. Yummy. I am going to make these but keto style by using all cream and monk fruit sugar. I can’t have sugar or milk but I can have cream. Could one purée (& strain if needed) a bit of the fresh strawberry and add it to the powdered sugar for the glaze instead of the food coloring maybe? I try to avoid food coloring as much as possible.
