We don’t have zucchini in our local stores. Can cucumber be used as it’s substitute?
I just got my Spiralizer but the blades are not numbered. Can you give me some guidance?
She sounds so delightfully feminine, I’m definetely going to try making this
I like to save all the veggie ends and trimmings, and throw them all into my blender when I make my next banana smoothie. Free nutrition for something most people just throw away! Works for everything except the strong-tasting vegs like onion and cabbage.
Wow. I just purchased that very same spiralizer!! I’m going to LOVE this recipe, I just know. Thanks! Mine didn’t work well with a small butternut squash but carrot, cucumber, red onion, yellow squash, radish, and zucchini are all a breeze. Makes a raw salad look pretty.
Looks great now this is for me but I am adding red pepper flakes yummm!
Close your eyes and you’ll hear Rebel Wilson HAHHA
I really wanna try this recipe out!
I cooked this today and it was beautiful….Will be eating this once a week.
Delicious I will never look at pasta noodles the same this veggie gives it a crunch yum
I like the ribbons. Would that work texture-wise for Zucchini noodles? It seems more ideal hold sauces etc
Strawberries and mustard I need to test this seemingly yuck combo!
I followed your recipe and it turned out so beautiful….. I’m so amazed!!! thank you for sharing:)
You know what? I’m too old to make that joke. I’ll leave now.
Good recepie but please no vegetable oil…
avocado oil, coconut oil or butter much better healthier keto…
Never was a fan of zoodles but this looks so good I have to try. ❤
Never cut an avocado like that with the knife… there are too many people visiting the hospital with avocado hands. Google it
Vegetable Oil is bad for you. Please instead use EVO or Avocado Oil instead!
Lovely recipe But why use vegetable oil? It’s so bad your health! Use olive oil or avocado oil instead, these are good fats.
That is a very thick accent, no offence but almost hard to understand. Is it Australian?
“… if your zucchini is too big it won’t fit inside of the vagetti… ” she’s actually breaking into a half smile there and quickly glosses over 😉
We have the same thing as you sow this recipe worked out just fine for us
Going to try this tonight with walnuts and olive oil. I’ll let you know how it comes out.
This is a beautiful dish! I love basil, but straight basil pesto tends to be a bit strong tasting for me. I would LOVE to try this recipe! I love your voice and your vlog style is fresh. I’m just starting out, but I’d love feedback if you ever get a chance to drop by my channel as well! Thanks so much and happy cooking:D https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCn5MaT1C8UbzXRQdfuO-RNg
I made some today for lunch. We put canned spaghetti sauce over the zoodles. Turned out very good.
Pro tip: Cut the avocado into quarters (half the halves) then peel. The peel comes off cleanly and flawlessly due to the corners. No “spooning” required.
And that vagetti lol i have to have that bigass veggie sharpener yay! And i found one at Bed Bath and Beyond at about $10 bucks and for which i have a coupon! Woot!
Only thing is please for the love of god don’t use vegetable oil
I love veggies and everything like that but I feel like I’m never full and get a crazy appetite:(( I think because of the fact it is low calories.. but what do I do:0
Thanks for the recipe. It was delicious and very very filling.
Excellent video, and recepie, I will definitely try to make it. Thanks.
Can you try more ways with the zucchini?
Delicious! More fast meals for weeknights would be amazing. I meal prep, but then that takes up time in the weekend so sometimes not achievable.
I’ll surely try this recipe…… love it
would love to see such quick easy recipes…..
and lasagna recipe too……
Thank you
Ps. I would love to see more dishes like this. Can you do this with squash?
This looks Amazing! I can’t wait to try this. Thanks so much
” Its won’t fit in inside the vaggety ” That made me laugh for some reason.
She basically made a pasta olio aglio with zoodles……God zoodles is such a lame name.
Pls Dani what’s the name of that tool so I can order it from amazon….thanx a lot… I love this dish…. GOD BLESS YOU….
Do you have a video where you prep your zucchini noodles for freezing? and then coming out of the freezer to cook?
Every time she says the veggerie I tend to hear the v… it’s just so funny it sounds like a big word
It might be the brand of spiralizer or the brand of carrots, but my carrots are hard; they won’t stay on the food holder and won’t go through the machine well. Do you have any recommendations? Would pre-heating them make them too soft?
Thanks for this video…I had no idea how to cook them but had bought a spiralizer and wanted to try them. I cooked mine with the oil and garlic and they were perfect.
Was that a wet paper towel that you put on the bowl of zucchini that went into the microwave?
Can I have the link for the tool used to shred the zucchini please
they will never replace pasta. that being said, they do help in cutting your pasta portion. i go halfsies on zoodles and pasta, which in turn cuts the calories in half. i used to just cube zucchini in my red sauce, but this is better.
i remember having zucchini before and it tasted delicious. now time to eat them in noodle form!
I loved the ramen idea. Any recommendations for a veggie version of that dish?
I could do a hearty vegetable stock, but what would go good in place of the pork?
Cheese would be a horrible idea, as it increases breasts cancer by at least 53%, and the microwave literally ruins the nutrients in food, and as for olive oil, it should never be used to cook with, as once it’s heated up it becomes toxic. I know you mean well, and I appreciate you. But we must be very careful how we treat our temples ( bodies ), they are very sacred.
Loved your recipe and definitely trying it today. But I had to fast forward. I like vids that get straight to the cooking. Subscribed and thank you!!
If you like lazy vegetable foodsyou should do a co-lab with Lazy Vegan!
Ermahgawd… This will probably be my new go to! I’m switching into plant based, and this was so easy and so delicious. I made my pesto/sauce with a few almonds and just one garlic, and put it on the pan with the noodles, and added a little bit of vegan cheese to melt. Thank you for the recipe!
This. Was. AMAZING. I am addicted.
Thanks so much for this recipe inspiration!
Awesome, simple instructional video. Great for guys that like simple and quick things. I’m going to try your recipe. Thanks.
Great recipes. Please make a video on the tomato sauce because store bought tomato sauce contains so many calories
We need your cookbook and also include some pages/collages of your great inventions and DIY guides! I already can imagine it… full of color and crazy closeups and poses with you in your studio and colorful color-overlays with text and headlines. Ingenious recipes and twist on known dishes + your exotic stuff. Also a Pizza and big tartine section (love’em) etc. I’d buy it in a heartblink!
Zucchini is too big to fit in your vagetti.
How did she keep a straight face
Here in the uk we call them courgettes. So I guess they’re called coodles Great video. Thanks for the help. I’m about to make some for my tea tonight
Is it weird that I’m turned on when she says vegetti? If the zucchini is too big, it may not fit in the vegetti!? She’s fucking with me, right?
I liked the explanation of the absorption of the salt via the oil.
What can I make with spiralizer parsnips? Is it good for pasta? Never even ate those before, wouldn’t know how to cook it.
I love my spiralizer super easy and so many different blades.
Yup, I heard THAT line too and came straight to the comments, and its literally the first thing I see people talking about.
Hi Liza, I was just searching on youtube about spiralizer and I came across your channel, and then I can’t stop watching your videos for more than 3 hours straight because I love your healthy, inspiring, and exciting ideas that I can’t wait to try.
I am very happy that I found you on youtube and by sharing about your healthy lifestyle, especially on food and organizing the kitchen I will be able to incorporate that into my lifestyle. Thank you so much for all of this amazing information and you can count on me to follow your blogs from now on. God will bless you with great health and enjoy a happy life.
Very helpful. I should definitely be able to make these at home. Oh wait I don’t have this vaginator tool. #facepalm
Take a shot everytime she says zoodle. I’m literally so excited to make this tho!!!!
I want to use them with a cajun seafood dish… trying to stick to my keto plan but still think i should have something special for the holidays… i hope it works well with the dish.. I’m kind of a veggie freak so ill probably like them with a little seasoning but one can never tell when combining with traditionally made dishes
I love your channel!! I’m leaving for France in a week for a few months on student exchange! Can’t wait to start cooking on my and following all your recipes instead of just watching them!!
Lisa have you heard of einkorn flour? Jovial foods has a very low and weak gluten flour, Gods original design, never hybridized even once by men, that doesn’t bother people with gluten sensitivities, it’s nutrient dense and it’s absolutely delicious <3 so you don't have to go without:)
In the UK there were already crisps (potato chips) called Frisps.
And, wanted to say, it’s refreshing watching videos without talking. Just the making. Viewers can figure it out since the recipes are here….Music is good, too. Thanks, again.
Any cook that offers to use a microwave in their publicly shared announcements should be closely examined and voluntarily removed from the use of any public platform. Please. May be google the microwave effect on anything? You should be curious enough to know what you are suggesting. The goal always should be to improve the health or your fan base, since clearly “we are what we eat”.
The zucchini is too big it won’t fit in the vagetti
That’s what she said
….uhhhh THE VAGETTI?? COULD IT SOUND ANYMORE LIKE A VAGINAL DOUCHE AT A PHARMACY STORE?
Thank you for sharing the recipe. I made the Guilt-Free Parmesan Zicchini, and it was delicious. At first, the Zucchini kept absorbing the oil, so I kept adding more oil to my skillet because I didn’t understand where the extra juice in the skillet from your video was coming from I understood where once the tomatoes were in the skillet.:-) #newchef
Is there another sauce you could make for this…I don’t care for Avocados?
Great recipe! I need this for dinner! Keep up the good work! All the best!
I really want to make zucchini noodles for pasta, but there’s much more here I can do. But I’m only one person except when I have guests. When I’m using this just for one, does it still make sense? Won’t I have too much food to store?
Are zoodles easier to use with the veggi thing than with potatoes. I tried making potato noodles it kept getting stuck and i cut my damn thumb
The pesto looks amazing I’m going out to the get the ingredients I need now. Keep up the great work I loved your video
What was you sprinkling on at the end was hat crushed pine nuts?
I have a vegetti. Going to make spaghetti with zucchini this week. Thank you for your video.
Wow! Haven’t tried it yet but the flavors make perfect sense!
I have a vagetta and it is a pain in the butt the zucchini core always blocks up and doesnt pass through. still works but constantly pushing the build up through
Creativity meets technology, that’s just a perfect work of nutritional art.
How does she say ” if your zucchini is too big it won’t fit in your vagetti” with a straight face. I almost peed my pants.
I just cant with that name. Who in the hell thought vagetti is a good name?
I must say, “vagetti” is a really bizarre naming choice for this brand of spiralizer. At least you won’t forget it when you go to buy one!
I love it! thanks for this tip!and also i love the bloopers! you can’t look silly because you are so pretty and gorgeous..make more tips and amazing recipes specially the low carb ones.
microwave kills nutrients so kindof defeats the purpose esp at 2 mins… i almost bought that vagetti at walmart last night. i picked u pa farberware mondoline instead and its goign back today works like crap dangerous and cheaply made.
Thanks, great help to someone that has to cut out pasta due to pre-diabetes…thanks
I used these in my spaghetti today and OMG! I thought i was going to hate it, but OMG! It taste so similar to pasta noodles!

we have lots of Zuccini right now, don’t know what to do with them thanks for the recipe
Tried this a few weeks ago but added extra red pepper and oh my so delicious! Def making this again tonight, super easy and delicious
Came for the spiralizer…Stayed for the cutting board…
WOW…WHAT A BEAUTY
I NEED IT
I like this recipe, I usually buy the noodles already made since I don’t own a spiraler
Just made this and OMG, so delicious. I had some grilled chicken and added that in. Definately making this again.
people might not agree but I honestly prefer zucchini noodles raw!:)
you should make a video showing us different ways to eat olives!
Just made this! Didn’t have basil so used mint instead, tasted delish! Thanks!
Excellent video! Definitely subscribing myself to your channel.
You guys!!!!! I only WISH my husband was on board with me for this type of thing!
I just bought a box of zuchinni noodles for fun. Cant wait to try em
My favorite Italian TV chef says not to add Parmesan cheese to a dish while it is cooking.
Best to wait until it is off the heat before putting on the cheese.
Cooked Parmesan cheese tends to clump together.
And you are right to use only freshly grated Parmesan. That pre grated stuff in the bright green shaker is an insult to any decent meal!
wow! that looks so good…i think i would feel guilty eating it. can’t wait to try it. thanks for a great veggie dish.
Short video, no fluff or filler, right to the point. Love it. Amazing dish too! Keep crushin’ it, y’all.
We watch with my 4y.o. Child this, and it’s more interesting than cartoons, she says
I just made this, I’m eating it right now. Didn’t have fresh basil so I used fresh baby spinach and dried basil. Didn’t have parmesan so I used asiago. It’s really delicious and it was fast to make even with spiralizing the zucchini. Oh! darn! I should have thrown in some cooked shrimp! Great recipe thanks!
You can start a business from spiralizing veggies! Its such a trend!
I made this recipe twice this week. Both times were amazing. I added sliced mushrooms before the garlic the second time I made this. I can’t wait to try out your other recipes.
Thank you. First time purchasing the spirals and was not sure how to prepare them. Sauteed them with fresh tomatoes in butter and olive oil, as I do not have avocadoes on hand. I shared this with my nephew Luke. Appreciate you, Chef.
Well that was pleasant to listen to as well as watch, thank you for your work, I will give this a try tonight.
I simply CANNOT express how amazing this recipe is & how fast. Thank you for sharing!
I made mines today they were so good only thin is I used grape seed oil because I didn’t have olive oil. I only had to use 2 zucchini for a bowl full Anyway mines came out more on the watery kinda mushy side but I still ate it I think I left it in to long. How much of this I can eat just in case I get hunger is it ok to eat two bowls? Also I put turkey meat balls in it I bought those from Walmart great value kind if that healthier at all not sure
I love this recipe, specially the sauce is my favourite. Thanks
Sold! haha This looks so good. I’m going to make it for dinner tonight! Thank you so much for posting this video
I like it. Thanks for video. I am using this as an alternative so i can loose some weight. So i dont add the cheese and alot of other stuff. I use alot of turmic chilli power and olive oil.
Looks delicious, I’m going to try it with other recipes too!
I JUST got rid of my spiralizer because I had trouble using it and couldn’t figure out what is really ever use it for. I think I had that same one!!!!!
Thank you sooo much for this amazing recipe! I replaced the regular cheese with vegan one and got a stunning vegan meal. And it’s super delicious!
I wish the zoodle grater thing wasn’t so expensive to buy to do this!
This looks amazing I can’t wait to try it! New subscriber here!
Wow, that looks great! It’s the first thing I’m gonna try when my spiralizer gets here! Thanks guys!

The whole family loved this recipe! I added fresh asparagus too!
Today i made this recipe, and let me tell you all it was very delicious! keep the recipes coming:p
wow….. I’m getting a spiralizer and will make this soon…….
I made this for the first time like two weeks ago for me and my mom and she loved it i just added a lil more red pepper flakes for the kick well im making it again today this is delish and so simple thanks so much
That looks amazing! I can’t wait to make this for supper tonight!
is this recipe freezeable? I was looking for recipes to meal prep with and this looks amazing!
This recipe is pure genius, how can I have zucchini noodles without this machine?
I find courgettes noodles to be too crispy and therefore too hard to keep of a decent length. The best results I obtained by sprinkling a bit of salt on the raw noodles and letting them rest for few minutes. Over time they become stronger, more elastic and more pasta-like.
Have anyone had trouble with a spirilizer when it mushes up the vegetable instead of cutting it? I just got one and had to return because it just destroyed my zucchini instead of slicing it.
I am wondering if I’m doing something wrong or it is a bad equipment
WOW! This looks fantastic!! Definitely going to try this. Thank you!
U guys r awesome.
Can u guys make an apple pie from scratch
Including the dough
Zoodles are so much fun to create with. I even made Pho with them and it turned out so amazing. Love this recipe.
I just made them and they were sooooooo good!! I cooked up some mushrooms and also added some spinach to the pesto for some more greens. So healthy and so yum! Perfect:)

that looks so good, and I have all the ingredients for it! Lunch today. Thank you for sharing.
Great fresh Ideas and good convos. Love these videos and that the fact that you add the meals calories. Will definitely be trying them
I have that machine I bought on amazon for $20. I do not like the fact that it does not spiralize all the vegetables to the end. So I bought a better one which comes with a bowl under and all my veggies are spiralized to the end and nothing goes to waste
It is spelled with an eveghetti. Combo of vegetable and spaghetti. Grow up.
Waaw…you realy have everything for everybody…from recipes, calories count, easy making til vegan and…everything fot free. Do you know how much money i must pay bij the dietist? I wil tell everyone at work and at the gym…everyone a know…and a already have the spiralizer

I have always heard of that tool being called a spiralizer. I would recommend using that name lol.
Love watching y our videos, maybe you could do a few recipes for Diabetics? some of these have too great a sugar content but, I still like watching you do your thing.:)
Please make weightloss recipies for pcos……… i luv ur channel.. ♥♥
This is probably a dumv question but do you have to cook the zucchini for the chicken alfredo or can you throw it in after spiralizing it
I think your videos have been incredible lately! Can’t believe what you come up with! The super gas stove hack was great and now this! Great work man!
I tried to buy the spiraliser on the Amazon link you gave but it doesn’t ship to Australia:(
Estas recetas sirven para subir de peso? si alguien me puede responder gracias
Wat is the name of that gadget?Where can I get and how much?
#SpreadItLikeButter Love you, Alex! Will be ordering your cookbook as soon as soon as my cash flow allows.
I am on a diet and miss……pasta. This is something I would try..for sure!
used to use spaghetti squash but that taste got old
thank you for this video…..i will share with my low cal low carb friends
Really good you’re recipes are always helpful and really works for weight lost
another tip, this manual model is not very good for people who are not very fit, it’s absolutely not as easy as in the video, the machine keeps getting stuck, finally I moved to an electric spiralizer, that also was not completely effort free but better than the handheld (Lurch brand that s what I had)
love your video you have a great personality!!! thank u for sharing:)
Hi Lisa! I found it! I’m really enthusiastic about spiralized vegetables… and fruit ! Now I’m off to purchase some equipment to make it happen! Hopefully, I can locate a kitchen aid attachment since I already have a mixer. Blessings to you!
Trying this out this week, thanks! I like how short and easy this video was and how friendly you are
i love watching your videos.. superb video quality.
i made your fudgy brownies may be 500 times… thanks alot:)
I just had zoodles with carrot spaghetti baked tofu stir fry veg and teriyaki sauce was really good
How does the onion doesn’t smell the spiralizer and/or contaminate the flavor of the other veggies that are cut after it. i cant stand raw onion at all!!!!
A delicious and easy to make zucchini noodles recipe i have ever tried. Thanks for sharing this recipe. Also here i have an article on a special zucchini noodles recipe. Check out the recipe here: https://www.recipespack.com/easy-zucchini-noodles-with-peanut-sauce/
This is amazing!!! I love the tutorial. The presentation was excellent. I was just going to make a cabbage slaw but you inspired me to add onion. Unfortunately, my onion was very strong and I cried. But it added so much my slaw. Thank you for showing me that even carrots can be spiralized. You are an inspiration!,
How come when I spiralize my cabbage the outer leaves keep popping out as it turns around? Anyone has that same problem with cabbage?
Those aren’t “noodles”, they’re just pieces of shredded zucchini.
Noodles are made from dough. I you make some king of pasta dough that included zucchini, you could make zucchini noodles from that.
00:38 The benefit isn’t that it’s ‘nutrient rich.’ Many people have trouble converting the vitamin precursors in plant foods into what the body actually needs anyway. No, the real benefit is that it’s not grain. Grain is just empty calories. People eat far too much carbohydrate in general. Especially given that carb is a non essential macro nutrient (your liver can produce glucose from protein and fat).
Thank you! I can now utilize my spiralizer and enjoy variety of veggies
I save my cores after cutting into small pieces and place in a jar with lemon, pepper and olive oil for a perk up for a quick salads.
Can I use my Apple Slicer/corer/gadget instead? The kind I use for preparing apples for apple sauce/canning
I’m new to a spiralizer so this video was so inspirational and confidence-building! Thank you Question, what do you do when your spiralizer blades need sharpening?
I have the same Spiralizer, I have only used it for zucchini. Great ideas
One of the worst spiralizer’s i’ve purchased. The plate with the spikes constantly spins around the vegetable and causes it to fall off. I couldn’t use it on a sweet potato, rutabaga, parsnip or turnip.
Where can I buy this exact type? Also is there a model that leaves a long core behind? I watched some videos that shows the leftover tubular core of spiralized zucchinis. Does this model not do that??
I’m.allergic to zucchini etc. What veggies would you recommend as a pasta replacement instead?
1//3/20 I just found you! I bought a spiralizer and love it! Thank you for the demos. Very direct not a lot of unnecessary verbiages. The spiralizer is an easy tool that does so much!
I LOVE your videos! I watched this last night then bought a Spiralizer
they are super amazing and tasty and I’m glad you did this recipe and it looks yummy!!!
I would core an apple or pear prior to spiralizing just so you don’t wind up with sliced core/seeds in your apple noodles.
Please demonstrate more recipes making vegetables with the spiralizer. Thanks
Right on! Thank you, Lisa! I love my spiralizer. So far, I’ve one done zucchini and cucumber. This has given me some new ideas. It never occurred to me to use it with these other vegetables. This opens up a whole new world! Ha! Lisa, thank you! I just subscribed too.
Hi looks very nice nd good recp…..What is that vegitable cutter using for cutting zucchini
I like it and it is very healthy, thanks for this video!
Thank you so much for those inspiring ideas. It helps a LOT!!!
I like this, but I would rather peel the shin off the zucchini or cucumbers. Would that be a problem?
So so happy to have found your channel. I have gained way too much weight from depression after i lost my dad almost two years ago and i have to also have to take responsibility here in those two years, i haven’t seen the inside of a gym for almost 1.5yrs. Yesterday i decided to stop the pity party, but now i gotta get back to my “HAPPY WEIGHT”. I will be using your channel for these delicious low-calories recipes. Wish me luck.
huge advantage of manual spiral slicers over electric ones: You can use large vegatables
Thank you very much for your tips on spiralizing all of these vegetables! Great work!
Thanks, I just got mine today and I love it. I get tired of eating meat and this is .
I have a spiralizer that looks like that. I used it for 5 mins and got irritated when my vegie kept falling off. Wish you had talked about some tips for the spiralizer.
I don’t like cumin or turmeric, is there something else I could substitute it with?
I have gotten hooked on homemade sauerkraut and pickled vegetables. Takes so long to slice them up and it is harvest already! My family grew up and now I always have too much to eat before they spoil. I also dry a lot, same thing, time consuming to slice and even thickness is best. Thank you for your video.
I am not going to crucify you… I am going to adopt you and bring you home so that I just listen to you talk. Of course, if you want to cook, so much the better and I would be happy to do the cleanup. Adorable. Coming from a 71 year old grandmere.
I’m very disappointed in the documentation and will return it to Amazon if it can’t be cleared up.
It says to use 1mm through 5mm blades depending on the size spiral you want but there are no markings on the blades to determine their size.
The blade trays are marked, CW, AH, CF, FW, etc., with no explanation of what they stand for and no size in mm. The video link also says nothing about how to determine the size of the blades.
And what is the blade taped to the machine for? No mention anywhere about what size it is or what it is for. This documentation is unacceptable unless I am doing something wrong.
this is a very convenient way to prepare and cook vegetables and eat them easily…..with fun…thanks Alex!
This was the BEST zoodles recipipie I have followed!!! The instructions are so simple and the end result is nothing short but delicious
Amazing awesome I don’t have ths machine superr big thumbs up
Beautiful presentation. Great tips on what blade to use & to use gloves. Thanks for sharing
have a good day ma’am Liza..love your video..very nice.. I wish I could have it too…the spiralizer.where and how I buy that? how much it cost?
Just curious, what kind of spiralizer are you using? Is it called a Classic Cuisine 5 Blade Vegetable Spiralizer? Thank you!
I wish u could show where exactly u attach the veggies on the other side…that’s what I’m having trouble with
I don’t know if you know this but a really good way to use raw cabbage as a snack is just out some either lemon or lime on it with some salt! It’s delicious and so refreshing!
I am so glad there exist spiralizers like this. I have the little hand held one and grew tired of it, but this tabletop one has me very interested.
Just received my Paderno spiralizer yesterday so I went out to my favorite market here in Hamilton MT and bought organic purple cabbage, carrots, yams, and a black radish, which I’d never seen before(about the size of a tennis ball) and various apples. As well as zucchini of course! It’s going to be a fun afternoon! I’ll keep you posted.
I know this sounds strange, but onions make me sneeze!!! Love all your videos!!!
I just happened onto your site and am so glad I did! I also suffer from an autoimmune disorder-arthritis. Although being mostly vegetarian and conscious of what I eat and how I live it’s become clear that even more steps need to be taken. So your recipes and tips and instructions are very timely. You inspire me because you make it so simple to make big changes. And fun too!
Sprilizing a sweet bell pepper and then picking out the white pith and seeds is a time consuming nonsense. All you need do is slice the pepper thinly from the outsides inwards, leaving behind the pith and seeds. Also, the more you process vegetables the more they leak vitamins, minerals, trace elements, flavour and texture (I am not sure about fibre). It is also very wasteful. Do you not know this? If you want to badly cook a carrot, spiralize it. Do not refer to spiralizing and eating healthily in the same sentence, because spiralizing is not a healthy way to treat veg. It is way over processed. I have the same spiralizing machine as you. It is redundant in my kitchen. As for homemade sweet potato fries, with all the oil seeping into the sprilazied veg, it is extremely unhealthy. How can this be healthy eating? I am baffled. As for spiralising an onion, I am totally bemused! If you want to chop an onion without crying, just Google or email me. I will tell you how to do it.
Love your videos.:o) like my produce raw. ;o) amazing how good food tastes with the right seasoning. Thank You!
Salut Alex! I can’t wait to try my drill with the pumpkin pappardelle! Congratulations and compliments, many and many of them:)
I have an humble suggestion for your Frisps. Instead of seasoning them after frying, you can season them *during*, simply dissolving in the frying oil a bouillon cube, like Maggi, or similar. it’s a bit more umami-like, but it’s interesting to try (I hope). Best of luck!
HI
LOL! Your powertool ‘Spiralizer’ gets my vote for the BEST FOOD HACK on Youtube!
Thanks, I just tried it and added plain Greek yogurt instead of cheese. The sauce at the end is yum
Looks so yummy! Do you know how many calories a serving ends up being?
I have same device but it botched sweet potatoes it doesn’t make long noodles Any other veg is fine.
Any ideas? It’s only new.
OMG!!! You are my new favorite person oxox a drill with peeler cracked me up so hard I had to pause and rewind lol thank you Merci
Cool recipes. I think I’m hitting that sub button!!!! Thanks.
So this FOODIE is embarrassed she’s only used her Spiralizer for Zucchini and Carrots, Yikes! These look like SO much FUN and much easier on my poor hands:) Thank YOU! Watching your next video on Veggie sheet strips:)
Great ideas, music is wonderful, he is adorable. BANG! Subscribed.
How about some recipes using spam or luncheon meat? I love spam musubi
Squash pappardelle look delicious, frisps either. I am Italian, but still…
Just found you and love your recipes. I have a spiralizer but have no imagination so this was great for me plus 11th of Feb is my BD. yippeeeeee Gross bisous!!!!
I’m thinking it’s genetically modified too so they can keep thier virgetii crap.
Looking forward to preparing your recipe. Going to buy that cool kitchen gadget. What is the make of your spiralizer?
New to the channel so late on the comment but your frisps have been being made in Oregon USA for like 48 years or so
Can you store the spiralized veggies? If so, how and how long do they last?
Actually I think my hand crank apple peeler, corer, slicer will do that, am gonna try it first. or you could just do it the snail safe way with a hand peeler manually Not!
“in 2019, this list helped me decide for the best spiralizer scafe.shop/tbss2019?vB hope it helps you out too!”
I immediately came to read the comments. I was not wrong lol
Why aren’t Frisps sold worldwide. It just seems like an ingenious idea.
I love the way you talk!! haha kinda Russian * German mix…too cute xx
Alex you are hilarious! I am an Italian woman married to a Frenchman, from l’Ile de Noirmoutier, France & honestly I am not offended by your comment on Italians!!! We simply love food, good food! I love your videos, I wish you I could hear you speak French. Je suis de Montréal, Québec et nous notre langue officielle est le Français! Sincèrement je t’adore!!!..:)

in undertale games..
I’m still looking for a way to spiralize veggies without a drill:D
He look like Eistein in cooking area. This is only good for mankind. We have Eistein in science. Now we need one in food science to re-discover simple nutrious delicous food in our fast pace styles.
Muy rico… Muchas gracias Dios le bendiga por compartirnos sus conocimientos…
4:59 I’m pretty sure he meant carrots for color and onion for sweetness but it’s not like it matters
I know when people have the “IT” factor…..You have the “it” factor.
Great videos
“Respecta” (Ali G)
Should have called them cries. Definitely look good enough to make me cry
I love this channel, because it is more about ideas, than about exact recipes. I have never cooked anything that was exactly like your recipes, but it still improved my cooking.
these are all so creative and not fussy at all omg! where has this channel been my whole life
I was hoping for written recipes but no worries, I transcribed from the video (as best I could) the following:
Squash pappardelle-
Butternut squash spiralized (wide “noodles”, ghetto spiralized a la Alex French guy cooking)
Boil for 2-3 minutes or until almost cooked. Strain and plate with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese, salt & pepper, garnish with basil leaves and a drizzle of olive oil.
Potato Frisps-
Thin spiralized potatoes fried in oil heated to 360°F in small batches. Season with salt immediately after removing from the oil and placing on a paper towel lined plate.
Vegetable stir fry-
Equal amounts of:
Squash
Parsnips
Daikon
Zucchini
Stir fry squash and parsnips with some coriander stalks for 2 minutes then add a Tbsp ea. of ginger and garlic paste along with the zucchini and daikon. Stir fry an additional minute.
Add a Tbsp of any sauce and a Tbsp of water.
Plate, garnish with coriander leaves, crushed peanuts and a drizzle of hot sauce.
Veggie ramen noodles-
Place tender spiralized noodles (zucchini and/or daikon) in a bowl and add heated (boiling) broth of your choosing (i.e. Home made or store bought) and let that set for 5 minutes. Add sliced pork belly/bacon (cooked), sesame seeds and garnish with basil and/or coriander leaves. Drizzle with sesame oil.
PAPPARDELLE? SQUASH?? There is a special place in Italian hell for people who commit such acts of heresy. Right next to the people who grate Parmesan on seafood pasta and vegans who make surrogate Vitel Tonné.
Love these I cook mine with mushrooms and then add pesto and fresh mozzarella cheese! Soooooo good!
“ok italian people now you can now crucify me in the comments” hahahahahah ma io ti amooo
Im so happy I stumbled upon your channel! New sub!:) And sending love from the Big Island of Hawaii ❣
I hated cooking as a kid, and until I started watching Good Eats with Alton BrownNow I am a cook professionally.
However, it broke my heart when they finally ended the show a few years back… You’re my new Alton Brown.
Thank you for the great ideas and the laughs I’ve needed over the last few days. Very charming. Keep it up, Alex.
I got to 1:45 and cracked it. I can’t this video. Call me immature but I can’t.
I liked your explanation of absorption of the salt via the oil.
Hi Alex just came across your channel the other day and now I’m enthralled in all your videos lol #sharpietattoosforlife
I’m far too distracted by some odd sexy quality you have to pay attention lol
Yum! your videos like this one are top notch, thank you & for the music also
Use the corner of the knife near the handle when getting the avocado seed out
Original & entertaining. You’ve got yourself a new subscriber! 😉
Hi Alex from Guadalajara Mexico. I do the ramen noodles but i put fish souce and egg, put the egg in the stock 7 minutes while boiling and cool in tap water to get a cooked egg white but a runny yoke, peel the egg and put whith some 2mm diagonal cut of crab surimi. then you get a PO Soup. or some thing like Saludos!
Omg this looks so good. Everything u guys make looks soooooo good…
Mate, you are something else. i absolutely love your videos and general attitude towards cooking. showing simply how one can make truly awesome meals with “bare” bone technics. keep it up!
J’adore!!! Sincèrement! Un petit coucou de montréal…Mon hommes et moi sommes des fans instantanés, ta façon de présenter tes idées est géniale. Absolument délicieux.
Your video is very creative. A nice presentation. It all looks yummy. I don’t think it would be good for a diabetic though? The fourth recipe with the Cucumber, Cherry Tomatoes and Chick Peas has 11 g of sugar. Way too much for me. Good job though Enjoyable to watch.
Yummy! So delicious, easy to make and above all healthy what a perfect combo:) Thank you!
Hey dude, big fan but unfortunately not of this one. Thanks though. Oh dang just realised I forgot the coriander.
All delicious and everything, but they could have made the video shorter or show more receipts. They take too long in showing the mothods and repeat them a lot
I’ve been cooking your meals for so long now and just realised I hadn’t subscribed SORRY but I’ve fixed that now and a big thanks for your help because I’m not the type of person that enjoys cooking, you make it easier
New here. Love your show! What are the veggies to spiralize?
I just bought a spiralizer! I wonder if this will taste good with chickpeas
I make zoodles all the time!! Love them. Garlic, ricotta and parmesan for me!
Alexwhat an inspiration, your enthusiasm is contagious. I definitely look forward to seeing more of your inspirational videos on how to reinvent my daily meals.
And if you don’t like avocado, what could you substitute it with?
Looks delicious with the exception of the cilantro (I’m one of those who thinks it tastes like soap). Will substitute parsley. Thanks.
I’m about to go to the store to buy more avocado and carrots, oh and cilantro to make this. I will post my results later.
Thanks for sharing.
Very nice. I really like the way you explain everything. Good job man!
I literally just made this and it came out sooo good. The only is I forgot to buy basil so I used dried basil since that’s all I had. And I used almonds instead. I also added water
Hey tell me wat machine u used to cut off carrots in spirals..n where can i get it from

Animals are dying most horrendously… surely we can do more than just meatfree mondays. It’s so easy to eat meat/dairy free all the time with all the great substitute products and great new recipes like these. I’ve never enjoyed eating so much as when I decided to go plant based for the animals my health really improved too! I no longer need coffee to wake me up in the morning and I have tons more energy ^_^

I believe I got too happy when I saw his apron. Doctor Who is such a great show. c:
I do not understand why you don’t have a TV show on the Food Network or something.
I am really on diet right now, and Thank you so much for sharing this video
I came across one of your videos by chance and was shocked by the 480p quality. Then I realised it was from 2009 and upon checking your channel I discovered that, yes, thank goodness, you have higher resolution videos now, haha!
I recently started a diet for which i cut pasta and sugar. I bought this slicer in order to replace pasta by zucchini. Feel like im still eating pasta.
Great recipe! I wondered if that noodle contraption really worked? Now I have to go and get me one. Take care!
You can ALWAYS trust a chef wearing a blue Police Public Call Box apron. You betcha!:-)
that looks yum,, I could see myself cooking this all the time. I like your recipes:-)
