This dish does not exist in China. It has been confirmed by Mary, (my Chinese friend from Britain who writes Lovefoodies), that there is no such thing.
Heat the oil in a pan over medium-high heat, add the chicken and cook until cooked through, about 2-4 minutes per side. Add the mixture of the orange juice, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, chill sauce, garlic, ginger and the mixture of the water and the corn starch, toss to coat and cook until the sauce thickens, about a minute.15-Minute Orange Chili Chicken and Broccoli – The orange chili sauce is spicy, tangy, and sweet all in one!!

Step 2 Mix in chicken pieces and toss to evenly coat.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour.In a medium pot, add orange juice, sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and red chili flakes. Heat for 3 minutes. In a small bowl, whisk 1 Tablespoon of cornstarch with 2 Tablespoons of water to form a paste.

They have 5 spicy levels: mild (cayenne & paprika), medium (more cayenne), spicy (even more cayenne), fire (cayenne & ghost pepper), and mega (reaper). The best part about hotties is that it’s in ORANGE COUNTY! There’s a lot of good spicy chicken places but they all tend to be in LA, thankfully this one is a short drive away.
Stir until fragrant then pour in 1/4 cup of orange juice, 3.5 tbsp of light soy sauce, 1/4 cup of brown sugar and 1.5 tsp of orange zest. Stir to melt the sugar.Stir cornstarch, broth, vinegar, honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, jalapeno and pepper flakes into orange juice and peel. Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper.

This orange chicken recipe is made with chicken breasts cut into bite-size pieces that are dredged and fried until perfectly golden and crisp, then tossed with the most amazing sweet orange sauce. Serve it over rice for a complete meal that beats Panda any day. This Skinny Orange Chicken has tender bites of chicken bursting with sweet and tangy orange, ginger, and other Asian flavors and will leave you satisfied. Better than take out if you ask me!
Having four kids that eat like adults (and they’re not even teen agers), we don’t go out to eat too often. One question: In the Better Than Take-out Orange Chicken you don’t have the amount of orange juice used. As written, the recipe says “1/4 orange juice.” I assume you mean 1/4 cup of orange juice, rather than the juice from 1/4 of an orange. I’m looking forward to making the dish, but I want to know I have the correct ingredients.
Spicy Orange Chicken. Save time and prep the ingredients for this dish in advance. Slice the veggies and cut the chicken into bite-size pieces and place in storage bags in the fridge.

Out of all of the orange chicken recipes I have seen this particular one seems the easiest.
I made this and it was to die for, so good. I made it a double recipe so we could have two meals! Guess what? We ate it all in one meal, it was that good! I love her recipes!
Good to know it’s not wild animal meat like the rest of these Asian Chinese places

Just made this and it was absolutely delicious! Thank you for this recipe xxx
Wow. Can’t wait to try it. Where is the plastic wrap (it seems reusable) from?
Wait until you make you some cap’n crunch chicken. Do it the same way but 3 bowls. Flour salt pepper, egg and milk and hot sauce, crushed cap’n crunch peanut butter cereal. Fry take out and good day
Question how to use ginger I never used ginger do yu buy the root or the spice?
Smokin Grill, May I please get the weight of the chicken for this recipe?

it is actually invented by american chinese, so it is still kinda american dish, just like you cant find tikka masala chicken in india but only in UK.
Evergreens Chinese restaurant here in Kansas City is the best!!

The 2k people who disliked: Panda Express workers across the country
Well after watching approx 15 videos of Chinese orange chicken i have decided to go ahead and do it your way. Excellent video. Keep up the good work. I will be doing it Friday night 19/6/2020. I will mention you in my video. I’m also on Facebook as The Tattooed Curry Geezer ……. Subscribed to you
I made this and it’s delicious. Like woo wee! But now I know why it’s usually ordered from restaurants because my kitchen is a mess now:D
You are officially my new favorite YouTube diy cooking guru!
I just made this and it came out ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I love your recipes and this came out amazing ♥️
I loved this dish when i went to panda express in saudi arabia. now im here in phillipines. i miss their orange chicken. my mother makes orange chicken too.
Wow, I love watching your video’s your method or Orange chicken is the best ever.
Use Less soy sauce, and more orange juice then what the written recipe calls for. The video shows a better ratio, also, be sure to use a high sugar orange juice. The more natural stuff (simply orange juice) just doesn’t come through the rest of the ingredients enough. Other than that, this video and recipe rules.
Trying to add recipes to my repertoire during lockdown and made this a couple of days ago. Tasted superb and your video was so easy to follow. Roll on the next video.
This recipe is so bombbbbb. I’ve made it once I’m making it again tonight
Made this yesterday and the sauce was so incredibly sweet it was nearly inedible. Chicken fried up beautifully but the taste of the outside is a little cornstarch-y. Sauce was good flavor just miles too sweet to where I couldn’t eat it without changing it. Also wasn’t nearly as easy as it seems, took an hour and a half because prepping takes so much longer than it seems in videos and I cook all the time. I would definitely recommend just finding a good Chinese place better than panda because it is definitely not worth the trouble for mediocre results.
check out your video on chicken fry rice love it!!! Well I just cooked chicken fry rice watching your video Boom bay!!!!!! Thank you for sharing
Yup! Absolutely another winner! Who doesn’t like a great orange chicken! This one is easy and delicious!
Could I sub tofu for the chicken? If so, what would need to be different?
This is so yummy!!!!! I made it on Sunday and I could not stop thinking about it and I had to force myself not to make it two nights in a row… But now it’s five days later and I just have to make it again
Watching this on 20th May 2020 Self Distancing in the UK. Who else?
So I just made this and it was HORRIBLE!! I mean really bad! I was bummed about the horrible results, so I just tossed the food, left the kitchen a mess, and went to bed. As i drifted off to sleep BAMB my eyes pooped open as my unconscious brain told me what happened! I used baking SODA instead of CORNSTARCH!! I’m gonna try it again! LOL!!
Not familiar with grams, please explain 300 grams and 100 grams.
Just tried this recipe in the U.K. 10/10 just as I remember Panda Express!!!
I’d love it if you could show us a satay sauce recipe, not on the skewers, one that is a meal in itself.
What does she mean by starting with “cooking oil” for the sauce? Does that mean like, olive oil or canola oil? I’m not sure which to use…
Everytime I go to panda shit tastes a lil bit different the consistency changes depending on the locations and times
I know this video is old but is new to mebut that looks so
the sauce is great just as a dipping sauce, made this along side the katsu sauce and garlic aoli, needless to say the mother in law was pleased. cheers specs
.. I’ve made this three times and every time it comes out better.. but I’m still not able to get that crunk.. I double fry.. should I fry longer?
How do you not have more subscribers. Your recipes are amazing!!!!!?
Just made this recipe at home, it’s amazing how well balanced it is. The orange, ginger, soy sauce, everything is there. I took the liberty of putting chopped spring onions and it worked really well.
Congratz on your channel, amazing videos with simple ingredients and simple preparation.
Best of luck from Brazil!
Where can I find the written the recipe? Where’s is the description on the page?
Too much soy sauce.. Over powers the orange.. 2-3 tbl spoons I say would be on point
I think this the next recipe I dig into and make a reality! ✨
Well if I wasn’t hungry before I watched this video I am now absolutely RAVENOUS. This looks delicious.
So I bought the ingredients and gave it a try. It was easy to make and turned out delicious. Thank you for the video and tips on making this dish. Maybe as you make more videos you can post a printable recipe with instructions. Awesome job.
Oh my god this came out so perfect. I share this dish with my friends and they love it. I don’t think I will ever go out and it chinese food outside. You are my hero. I also did the fried rice, and next Saturday I will do the General chicken. Thanks so much for sharing this dishes.
Tip: use one hand for the wet mix, and the other for the flour to avoid clumps!
I made this didn’t have enough corn starch so i’m wondering why the chicken was soggy at first. Gonna try it again tonight. This time with all the ingredients on hand. Also going to use the panda express store bough orange sauce they sell in stores. Gets around cooking the sauce

Chinese person: Making Chick Fil A Chicken Sandwich But Better
I just tried orange chicken for the first time today and I love it. My family love it. I will forever be grateful to you. Thank you AB
Hi everyone so I tried this recipe and it was so good but here are some tricks….
1: use only 2 cups if you don’t want extra batter,
2: add more salt I made mine too sweet but this is different because everyone has different tastebud than me,
3: YOU CAN ALSO USE CHICKEN BREAST BUT IT WILL BE LESS CRISPY AND IF YOU HAVE CHICKEN BREAST THEN HERE IS MY RECIPE THAT WORKS FOR ME
chicken breast, salt, pepper, and orange juice MARINATE then USE THIS BEFORE YOU USE THE “Tasty” BATTER
THX AND HAVE A GOOD DAY ☺️
i never really had panda express i go to actual asian restaurants
besides the food looking so good, YOU are absolutely adorable…
I HATE U FOR EATING MY FAV ANIMALS CHICKENS ARE FRIEND NOT FOOD
I tried this recipe and thought I messed it up, but my husband went nuts!!! He loved it!! Thank you so much and God bless!!! Hope you get your restaurant real soon!!! ❤️
Tried this recipe. The result tasted really close, if not, way better than the take out version, we’re used to. Chicken very crispy and flavour salty, sweet and spicy. Had to substitute a few ingredients. Subs were: Mirin (for vinegar), red chili flakes instead of chilis. I also made some veggies (white onion, red peppers, green onion and mushrooms diced) in the wok ahead of time and added with chicken when the sauce was reduced and thick enough to finalize. Served over rice. This recipe is by far the best one I have found and tried from the internet. Definitely want to make her orange chicken now!
I just found your channel. I love General Tso’s Chicken. Now I won’t have to order any Takeout. Thanx for the great video.

Can I use balsamico vinegar instead of the Chinese which is expensive and pretty hard to find in my country anyways?
Your speech and rhythm when you are giving instructions is the same rhythm and pattern as the tiny chef from the tiny chef show.
watch many of your shows enjoy them all love your knife video
I want your Merch!
I need that apron in my life,
I’m sure it’s user error, but I cannot get your site to load.
I have a question, I am trying to replicate this recipe without using any form of soy. I am highly allergic. What would you recommend?
The only bad thing about Orange Chicken is next day leftovers sucks and does not even taste the same. This looks great, but will make smaller batches
Omg when he said juice of one orange I heard juice of one door hinge????
I can’t be the only one who hears Morty during the voice overs
Great! Now I don’t know which of your recipes to make. (Drools)
Not to be mean it’s just u put on some weight. But we all have those moments.
Hey Joshua, i made this last night for my family (I’m 15) and they were very impressed and it tasted amazing. I love your vids, your vibes, and your cooking. Keep up the good work.
Instructions unclear, I ended up killing diavolo and getting the requeim arrow.
He only used white pepper… the African in me added curry powder, anise seed, all purpose spices, and a little adobo
Oh my gosh I just found this channel! All the food looks so delicious !!
Ok, I have tried this recipe and its okay. For my taste the sauce wasn`t spicy enough even though I have added 2 chilies. Also, it was a bit too sweet for me. But! Thank you!
I don’t care for your arrogance. Just because you were a professional cook for a couple years shouldn’t give you this level of superiority. Of course fast food isn’t going to be on the same level of someone who cooks as a profession who is also using fresh ingredients. You “winning” is like the equivalent of a body builder telling someone they can lift more than an average person. At least this is a way for you to feel big.
I would’ve use Tempura batter, rice wine vinegar, oyster sauce, and kikomon teriyaki sauce
Awesome videos Josh.. yours is one of my new favorite cooking channels!
Made it for my family for dinner. It came out so yummy! Wish I could share the pic. Thank you!
That looks delicious. And the music in your videos is very nice.
I made this last night and it came out perfect. I love some Panda Express but haven’t had it in a while because of the pandemic. This really hit the spot and my family loved it too.
What kind of pepper flakes are those? There are so many! Thank you SO much for your videos
Does this use store. Bought orange juice or the juice of an orange?? Please answer!!
What is Chef AB adding to Sauce in Skillet as it thickens….Water? OIl? more Honey? Thanks
I just started watching your videos the other day Butt I NEED that Apron. So cute! And so many pockets!
So I’m half way into cutting my chicken then I realized there’s no measurements and that’s where I’ll for sure messed up by just guesstimating ♀️
@soupeduprecipes question. I’ve saved your recipe and I’ve saved others. What’s the difference in the ingredients? I notice others use light and dark soy sauce and Chinese white cooking wine.. then you have black vinegar and no cooking wine. Do they all do the same thing? I’m really trying to make this in a few days.
Mandy, I gotta tell ya, this is the best Orange Chicken I have eaten. I made it using boneless chicken thigh meat instead of breast, as I much prefer its flavor, and it was double fried to perfection. I had to use bottled orange juice not from concentrate, and I had no orange zest either because my supermarket was out of oranges due to the covid19 shortages. Otherwise I made it identical to your recipe. Still, it was awesome. Thanks so much for sharing your recipes.
I made this couple of days ago and it was delicious! Thank you for the recipe. We are in quarantine here in Scotland and it is so nice to use little bit more time and effort for cooking instead of just ordering out.
Instead of msg in the dredge you can use half maggi sauce and half soy sauce for the sauce
I have a Chinese Chef friend in Indianapolis (The Golden Dragon) and I have tried many times to get this recipe from him to no avail but he did give me one of his secrets: He told me that he uses Dark Caro Syrup instead of sugar. I have tried this substitute to your recipe and I think you will find it an improvement. Try it and see what you think. I love your recipes and I am not trying to criticize but we can all use help in finding perfection.
I made this for my family tonight! It was a big hit! Thank you for such wonderful recipes!
I don’t need to watch the video. I prefer panda express
You know who else sends their attorneys?
Booty shot less than one second later.
“That booty is illegal”
I’m going to attempt making this tomorrow along with your egg fried rice recipe.
The only trouble is I don’t have any of that Chinese black vinegar, so could I use wine vinegar instead? Cheers
I know she said until golden brown but how many minutes does the chicken actually take?
I sprinkled some black sesame seeds at the end which worked out great. Great dish!
I made your recipe at home and it was SOOO good. Definitely better than Panda Express. This is gonna be a new favorite recipe for me
Sounds amazing! I will definitely be trying this recipe soon!
IM BOUT TO BE IN THE KITCHEN!!!!! WHIPPING TIL I CANT NO MORE!! YA CHANNEL FIRE GOD BLESS
I’m so jealous. She’s making amazing food and yet so is staying so thin.
ok muy bueno, me gustaria que pueden activar subtitulos en español?, gracias!
Looks awesome! Can’t wait to try this, because I hate buying takeout. Thank you Amy!:)
Looks delicious! I’m going to try this recipe in a few days! Can I use regular vinegar in place of the Chinese black vinegar?
since i left US i was looking for orange chicken:( now i can prepare in my house, send me luck
You should put some toasted sesame and spring onion on top
This was the first recipe of yours that I tried and it turned out really well. Now I love cooking with a wok. Your instructions are easy to follow, the ingredients are inexpensive, and the techniques for velveting and tenderizing work. Now I don’t feel like I’m wasting a steak when I cook one for my mother in law who has dentures and can now eat my cooking. Lol!
Sorry but this was an easy one. Panda Express is terrible. If you want to test your orange chicken muscle, go up against your local Chinese restaurant.
Mandy could u do a recipe video for Orange Beef? Jean Arena
imagine if gordan ramsay randomly started doing “joshua weissman but better”
Mandy I must tell you, for Fathers Day I made your Orange Chicken, your spareribs (but I did them a little differently), Pepper Steak, Pork Fried Rice and Sesame Chicken, all of your recipes as my gift for my Son-In-law. There were 5 of us for dinner, they all could not believe I made all these dishes. Thank you for your videos and your recipes. Jean Arena Long Island, New York.
So funny when she said, “if you use chicken breast don’t tell them its from me”.
I searched YouTube for a GTC recipe which seemed easy and looked like something I would like. I’m glad I landed on this channel. We made it last night and it is taking every fiber of resistance I can muster, to save the last portion for my daughter.
The shocking part aside from the crispy/juicy result, was how we nailed it on the first try. We will be serving this dish to guests as soon as we can.
I am a fan subscriber now…… keep up the great work.
If anyone is looking for a great recipe, try this one. Also look up her tip on how to cook a perfect batch of rice.
Thanks!!!
AB made it for my family they said it is better than Panda Express, good looking out brother….
Just made this and for me it was too salty. Thank you for recipe though.
Just made this and man this taste just as good if not better than Panda Express! Great job
I tried your recipe omg I have to say, it was soooooooo delicious I loved it thank you for your recipe
I would like to know if you can use prune juice and maraschino cherry juice to enhance the flavor and fruityness of the sauce. If so when should it be added to the sauce?
As someone who has been a cook for Panda, it really, REALLY depends on who cooks it in terms of quality. Many undercook the sauce due to how busy it gets. Ever had a pancake soak up all your syrup and then it’s a bland soggy mess? That.
Likewise, many don’t follow the intended recipe, usually because customers complain that it’s too spicy, etc. So some of the managers tell the workers to use half. When I cook that shit? People can tell.
AB, what kind of rice do you eat with it? Just some white steamed rice or do you make fried rice?
omg i’m so addicted to this channel. everything i can possibly think of to eat is on here!
what do you keep adding to the pan as youre cooking? more vinegar? more honey?
Gurl that wasnt an orange! It was a green…
LOL j/k j/k!I cant wait to try your recipe!! It looks amazing
Take out is better. Add up the cost, go to the store, buy all that stuff, go home, prepare, cock, not cheaper!
Thank you..I love all your recipes I’ve tried…my family’s waiting on a chop suey recipe!
ngl panda express one looks tastier
really depends on how much sauce they add too and what location
I love orange chicken. Trader Joe’s has a good one. I can’t wait to try your version….I can never go wrong with your recipes.
I hope he never eats out his gf cause one day he gonna go like “ god I could make my own it would be so much better”
Instead of vinegar, add pomegranate sauce. Extra acidic kick, but also adds to texture. Its a Godsend ingredient for savoury dishes.
Wow, that sauce looks a-mazing!! I can’t wait to try this! Just subscribed!
Omg! I made this today and it was SOOOO GOOOD!!!
Thank you so much for this recipe! I’m adding this to the family cook book!
I like but I have to be honest, this is the laziest way of making the famous orange chicken but I admire your own version.
This was an amaaaazing experience! I loved the production of this video from start to finish. The chicken came out amazing! I appreciated that you gave us a heads up on the stirring of the sauce because mine clumped and I couldn’t figure out why, now I know. Thanks for the confidence to try again! Keep Smokin n’ Grillin!
I really love this girl, her food is simply mouth watering if I were about 50 years younger I could really go for her just for her cooking. Haven’t tried all of her dishes but what I have is better than sex. At least what I remember it being like. Chuckle chuckle
I tried this and i have never made something so disgusting in my life. Moral of the stpry, dont hire me as your cook.
I just subscribed to your wife’s channel. You guys keep being an example of entrepreneurial success. Proud of you both!
The “oos” when the girlfriend tastes the food is too satisfying lmao
Nah doesn’t look orange more looks like chilli chicken than authentic Chinese orange chicken and plus panda express is a more white people version of Asian cuisine
I am astounded at how good this recipe was exactly as written. The first two times I cut out this or that because I didn’t have the right ingredients but exactly as is, honestly the best General Tso’s I have ever had. You are amazing. Can’t wait to make more of your recipes (and I will be making many more). Thank you.
i feel like i have to work at panda express in order to be in this comment section
I am loving watching your videos— I just ran across your videos today and have subscribed.. I will leave a like and a comment on all I watch… you are great‼️
Can you do Beijing beef i cooked your chick fila copy cat and my house loved it it was amazing
Thanks for this! Did my own quick version using lime juice (didn’t have any orange juice) and it turned out super delicious!
Make sure to warn people against using sugar free orange juice, I mistakenly used that and it did not taste too good.
Hello, by any chance, can I use black pepper instead of the red pepper flakes? And how many grams of chicken did you use?
I have never eaten anything from panda Express. I don’t know what their food taste like but I’m gonna make this because I do like orange chicken
Thank you..I always wanted to make authentic Chinese food from the Country of China….I love Chinese Food!..
I replaced the orange juice w mango juice and all I gotta say is holy cow. Also add 2 cups of flour instead of 3
I loved all the cooking on your videos. Thank you for sharing the recipe. I hope you will make more videos about chinese food. I would love to learn how to cook since my husband is half chinese .
Remember, for a long time ago, people’s love orange chickens in states of america
I tried this out with my mom and I can confirm that it’s super good! The recipe is relatively easy and it tastes amazing! I’d call you a pretty good chef ☺️
Thank you so much! All the other recipes have ingredients that are hard to find, but you used things that most people have at home!
I can’t wait to try this today. I use your videos to plan my recipes for the week. Thank you. I made the popeye’s chicken sandwich (because I’ve never had one from Popeyes), and it came out good. I think it could have had more seasoning, but the pickles and sauce did make for a nice combination. Okay, so for this video, in the end when you were making the sauce, I saw you put in two additional things. I think it was water and a little more honey. Is that correct? No matter, I’m going to definitely give this one a tr today, anddddd I just got a new Wok. Time to break it in. Thanks again for your channel.
There is no way to cheat by processing food in chines cuisine
MSGLet me end this man’s career
Instead of using lemon zest wouldn’t it be better to use orange zest or does it screw up the final taste. You sir are a great teacher!
Made the orange chicken today. OMG. It was wonderful. The wok is doing great. Love it so much. Wife wants to get another. We find it so much easier than a cast iron skillet to fry in. One last thing my wife loves your hair. How long is it?
Thanks for the vids
Spot on isn’t the word for this video & recipe. It’s ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!!! The sauce tastes exactly like my fav Tso’s from a childhood fav Chinese restaurant in Pittsburgh. It’s absolutely delicious!!!
Good Job, looking forward for more, so simple and good thanks, ❤️
Is it possible to use less sugar or no sugar for the sauce recipe?
Just made this. I added a granulated and brown sugars to make it a little more sweeter. Thanks for the recipe.
: Fantastic video, fabulous recipe. Shared to my friends.:)
Thank you for this recipe, it looks delicious, and you do a really great job with your videos.
Love you and your recipes! Just made the General Tso’s Chicken, replaced whole chilli’s with crushed red pepper flakes…SO GOOD!
I could not find Chinese black vinegar so we used rice vinegar. This recipe is excellent!!!! If you add the amount of chili pepper that she does it’s gonna burn your face off.Thx!!
I have just found this channel and I absolutely think it’s great! Very clear and informative. I am going to binge watch all the shows from time gone by. Thank you and keep up the good work!!
Such a sweet funny cute lady, you alway make me smile the way you talk, good recipe and good spirit, you was mean to do this….you are a natural…thank you as always for sharing. May you always in good health.
I made your recipe today and I absolutely enjoyed it as well as my family. This will be in my forever playlist and will be repeated again and again. Thank you.
I doubled the recipe, but I don’t think you necessarily need to double the amount of zest. It was still yummy, but the orange was a little too much. I have been struggling for years to make good Asian food, and have had success with every one of your recipes. Thank You!
can I use Baking Soda or Ground Flaxseed instead I don’t have Cornstarch with me
can Corn Meal work
Dude thats not how they make it but i definitely prefer yours its beautiful! I watched the video 3 times
Can I make the sauce in advance and put in fridge? Thank you.
Thank you so much for the recipe. It’s delicious. Do you have a chicken ball recipe?
I love they way she enjoys her own cooking. Reminds of the Galloping Gourmet:)
That looks really good. I love Chinese chicken of any sorts. Very nice presentation Amy. Great job.
How about adding steamed veggies during sauce coating process. I used broccoli +cauliflower +pea pods.
Your printable recipe links don’t work for me. Am I the only one?
I just wanted to say thank you! I have tried similar dishes before but yours way better then a restaurants! Your video was easy to follow and the dish was amazing. Thank you!
I made this for dinner last night. Delicious! it was an easy to follow recipe, it looked just as beautiful on the plate as it tasted. Thank you ❤️ Pat
FORGET the Cilantro! That is the nastiest herb ever grown on earth.
What a delightful young woman!! Your name would help though!!
I made this tonight like all your recipes it is delicious!! I was a little rebellious and added some ground Sichuan peppercorns. I’m in heaven. Thank you!!
When you fry the frozen chicken, is the temperature of the oil also at 370F? The cold chicken will quickly bring down the temperature.
I just found your channel and am already in love. I was just thinking about remaking Whataburger’s mushroom swiss. Don’t get me wrong, its good, but it could be better.
this looks so delicious. i gotta stop watching these shows before bed
Awesome video!! Can I make the chicken in the air fryer? What your recommendations?
Wow! You were right. This recipe is amazing and very easy to make.. My family love it. Thank you
What are you adding at the end? After the lemon zest? Water? More vinegar?
I cooked this few times, multiplied the declared amount of sauce by 4, and it still wasn’t enough.
Love your channel! Can you please let me know what kind of laser thermometer you are using?
Tried this recipe out on my wife this week. Absolutely amazing taste and texture. Unfortunately I will never be able to buy takeout sweet & sour again because they will just not be able to stand against this wonderful and easy recipe. Thank you so much for sharing it.
Hello. You added a couple of ingredients after the honey but didn’t say what they were.
The food and the video is stunning, but what’s the song used?
This recipe is awesome it tasted how I remember it going out to a Chinese restaurant with my parents and my best friend ranked it in the top 5 what I made. During this whole COVID19 pandemic I discover you don’t need a restaurant to have the same thing served for takeout and far less of the price. It’s worth it to make you’re own and you know who made it and in what kitchen.
I’m loving your videos and all the cultural information you provide. I’ve always wanted to here someone speak about “Chinese restaurants” vs actual Chinese food! Great way to show the difference and educate
Well what I have noticed is that you try hot food that is well not hot since you get it delivered or pick it up and then drive home. Not really a fair comparison.
I know im not the only one who’s a bit annoyed by how she holds her chopsticks
Wow, great video! It looks delicious! I live in San Francisco and I’ve eaten a lot of General Tso’s chicken dishes, but I don’t think I’ve ever eaten it when it was cooked to be spicy…
I made this last night nd it was banging! Definitely worth doing yourself
I finally found a generals chicken sauce. I looked up so many on youtube and never liked any of them. Yours is very simple. But the best. I added malassis and some sweet chili sauce. You taught me a few new things too like cooking tips
Amy,
Please where can I find your recipes
Orange Chicken, Your Berry Cobbler &
Onion Soup.
I thought that they would be below,
I have looked.
Sincerely
Vannessa G.
Thanks for the great cooking tips! I will definitely try this soon.
Why does my chicken keep turning out “soggy”? The marinade and the sauce are delicious but I keep getting the chicken wrong. I think I may be getting the oil temp wrong? I will keep trying. Thank you for sharing a delicious recipe! P.S. Even though my chicken was soggy it was still delicious!
So glad this showed up in my recommended watch list…..making it!!!
Are you married? Am I too late? Just kidding. I’m not worthy. Love your channel.
Do I have to add vinegar? Is there something I can substitute with?
Made this recipe last night, it is amaze-balls. Definitely go for two peppers, get that spice. Never buying orange chicken again. #sorry_panda

Oh yeah… Guess that’s what’s for dinner… I have everything at home
I wanted to take the time to thank you, I made this the other night and my son and I “Loved It”. Thank you again.
Just made this today and it was delicious! Fresh ingredients really make a difference
Love your channel! Thanks for all the tips! Rocking the red lips too
Hello Ms Chef,
This looks really good. I also like your wok. What brand is it?
Hi there, great dish, one of my favorites, I just hugged you, hope you hug back!!!
Omg….this looks amazing. Will try this weekend. I immediately subscribed to your channel. The key is the easy availability of your ingredients. Thank you.
