Great video Lucie. I use rice milk, I started using it for making my own gluten/dairy free Yorkshire puddings, but now have it on my gluten free cornflakes. Have you tried the new vegan Galaxy, I’ve tried the salted caramel one and it tastes no different to normal Galaxy. So much so I was convinced it must contain milk but doesn’t. Shar bread rolls are really nice, they part cooked and you finish them in the oven. Lovely with soups. I mainly do my free from shop at Tesco, they have a good store cupboard/bakery section for free from but my local Tesco isn’t great for frozen free from. I’ve recently discovered Iceland do gluten free frozen food for a quick meal, the fish cakes are lovely and the chicken burgers are good too. It’s amazing the food you’ll find gluten and dairy in once you have to start looking so be careful not to assume something won’t contain it. I’ve bought chicken slices before and they contained milk. The Alpro blueberry yoghurt is very nice, topped with a chopped up salted caramel Nakd bar. Would love to see more videos like this from you Lucie, have you checked out Becky Excell on YouTube and Insta she’s very good at recipes and free from grocery hauls xx

Instead of the skinny syrup have you tried ST Dalfour strawberry jam its a really nice jam for porridge etc X
What kind of cookware are you using? They look very nice. Is it cast iron with coating?
I’ve been gluten free for 12 years and bread had improved a lot in that time! Tesco gluten free brown bread (or white / seeded) are the best breads in my opinion. It’s the 550g loaves you need to buy.
Schar bagels are delicious (can’t remember if I bought from Asda or Morrisons)
B Free Pitta Breads, my favourite are the wholegrain variety available from Sainsbury’s.
Aldi carpe bio vegan blonde chocolate is amazing it taste exactly like milky button chocolate!! Amazing!! I go in and stock up because it doesn’t stay around for long!! Also the floral buttery is my favourite butter it’s 100% plants and taste so good!! Koko dairy free cheese is so good!! Xx
Gluten and lactose free over here. Bread: expensive at £3.50 a loaf but the best one no question is the warburtons tiger bread. So good I eat it plain.
Chocolate: the moo free bunny comb is delicious if you like honeycomb!!!
Tesco do amazing soya yogs. Their raspberry passion fruit ones are amazing. As are their kids banana ones!
Try the Sainsbury’s pizzas as well. Their butternut squash and caramelised onion pizza is awesome. And the Tesco frozen Kiev’s too.
i love oats i used them in the UK and my local shop here hadnt got it so im going to look if they go the skimmed oats x

I always find gluten free bread is terrible unless you toast it! Same goes for rye and sourdough x
Few recommendations for you Genius Gluten Free Fibre Fest Cob (its a cob loaf u cut yourself and is amazing and can’t tell it’s gluten free from density and taste), Coconut Collaborative Mango & Passion Fruit Yogurt, Costco sell Birch Bender’s Paleo Pancake & Waffle Mix which I have yet to try but heard amazing things, oatly do ice cream which is amazing, and I’ve tried the gluten free and dairy free Sainsbury’s own make margarita pizza and was lovely! X
Waitrose gluten free bread is yummy tastes the same of standard bread in my opinion xx

One word of caution coming from a chemistry student: don’t be afraid of ingredients just because you can’t pronounce them. Some are bad, but some are just the “chemical” names for certain vitamins, or the names chemists use because they don’t have a “common” name. Give them a quick google search and find out what they are and what they do:)

Sorry Lady, if you use fresh tomatoes you should remove the seeds and the placenta, which is the tissue the seeds are attached to. You see many plants products do contain Lectin, a plant protein, the plants use to protect themselves not to be eaten. In humans this LECTIN cause problems in the digestive system. Ultimately it can perforate the intestines a disease that is called Leaky Gut.

Going to give that breakfast a try some day too. Breakfast is the meal I find the most difficult cos unless I’m eating a greasy unhealthy fry up then i resort to cereal which makes me feel sick first thing in the morning. The Mexican bowl looks lush but that isn’t salsa, that’s pico de Gallo.

Cauliflour rice is amazing paired with any curry dish. I generally try not to eat alot of carbs so I substitute rice for that. Super yummy. Ty for sharing your recipes.

My daughter is dairy free coming up 1 year now, we have only recently discovered a cheese she likes it’s pretty new to the market called vitalite, they do a butter too. She loves it melted says it’s like normal cheese and I’ve noticed there is no where near as much “[email protected] that comes off it like most dairy free cheese. She will also have a small bit raw… if the sliced variety lol.

I aways strugle with conventional confectionary ingredients substitutes because instead of having lots of sugar and hidrogenated fats we usually use cashews or almonds as best choices, but this makes que recipe become highly caloric. I uderstand that for a healthy lifestile choice these iungredientes you use in yout recioe are amazing, but the amount of them in each serving might be way upon the daily value, you know. For instance, in each slice of this pie there is problable something arround 80g of cashews in juns one take, let alone the other fat sources like full fat coconut milk and coconut oil. Having said that, how does your body react to these intakes? Because despite these good ingredients, I don’t think this alows to each more of a desert just because it is healthy. It’ll be healthy up to some intake, not beyond.
PS: I can not forget to tell you that I’ve already made this pie using exactly the ingredientes you prescribed except the honey which was replaced by maple syrup, and the result is just out of this world.

I made this pie, yummy! The crust is very easy and delicious, instead of gelatin I used 1 Tablespoon agar-agar flakes to set the filling and it worked great!! Make sure you let the pie set overnight. This pie reminds me of the key lime pie I ate in the Florida Keys, I can’t even tell there is no granulated sugar in this pie, the honey works so well. Thanks for the wonderful recipe!!!
