Dietary fiber — found mainly in fruits, vegetables, whole grains and legumes — is probably best known for its ability to prevent or relieve constipation. But foods containing fiber can provide other health benefits as well, such as helping to maintain a healthy weight and lowering your risk of diabetes, heart disease and some types of cancer.Women need 25 grams of fiber per day, and men need 38 grams per day, according to the Institute of Medicine.
Closing the Fiber Gap Eating more plant foods vegetables, beans, fruit, whole grain. When it comes to getting enough fiber in our diets, most of us fall short. But it’s easier than you think to eat the recommended daily intake. For adults 50 and younger you need 25 grams for women.
Too much fiber Recommended daily intake of fiber per day According to the American Heart Association, the daily value for fiber is 25 grams per day on a 2,000-calorie diet for adults. It’s possible to get too much fiber in your diet. Studies suggest that adding 50 or more grams per day may affect how your body absorbs nutrients.
So be sure to think about how much fiber you get.A high-fiber diet may also help reduce the risk of obesity, heart disease and diabetes. Women should try to eat at least 21 to 25 grams of fiber a day, while men should aim for 30 to 38 grams a day. Here’s a look at how much dietary fiber is found in some common foods.Dietary fiber is essentially the part of plant foods that can not be digested or absorbed by your body.
After ingestion, it passes through your intestines and your colon and you shit it out. (I know what you’re thinking.According to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the recommended intake for dietary fiber in a 2,000 calorie diet is: 25 grams (g) per day for adult females 38 g per day for adult males People. Moreover, for inclusion in the review, studies needed to (1) specifically evaluate the use of dietary fiber in critically ill patients; (2) be published between January 1 st, 2001 and December 1 st, 2016; and (3) have been published in English, Spanish or Portuguese. Both randomized clinical trials and observational studies were included.
American adults are only eating an average of 15 grams of fiber on any given day, despite the daily recommendations from the Academy of Nutrition and Dieteticsbeing: 25 grams for women, or 21 grams. For example, if you require 2,000 calories per day for healthy weight maintenance you should consume 28 grams of fiber each day, and if you need 3,000 calories you should eat 42 grams of fiber.Women under 50 years old should aim to get 25 grams of fiber a day, and men should shoot for 38 grams. Some experts recommend even more.Dietary Fiber HHS, Food and Drug Administration, Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition Read about dietary fiber: what it is, where it is found, and how you can increase the amount of fiber in your diet.
It is suggested that for ideal health you eat between 25 to 29 grams of dietary fiber per day. The article actually suggests that you could take those numbers and bump them up as much as you’d like. The chart below will help you get a better idea of how easy it is to meet, as well as exceed, the recommended grams of fiber.Fiber is sometimes referred to as “vitamin F” because of its importance to your overall health. Women’s fiber requirements are generally lower than men’s fiber requirements because women tend to consume fewer calories.
How much fiber you need, and how to choose between different types of fiber, is based on your individual needs.

No you do not need fiber. I eat zero fiber per month. I eat raw beef, raw pork, raw chicken, and raw tuna every day and 3 times per day. It is the perfect diet for my body, and I highly recommend it to everyone. I have sustained myself with this healthy lifestyle for 3 years, and it feels great! You should try it!
Love Love your Channel!!!! Just starting this life style and love watching your videos. So glad I found your channel. You are so relatable and informative!!!
Best, most succinct explanation I’ve heard. Well done. I now have a video I can share with friends and family that might understand a very complex topic
I think the key is prebiotics rather than fiber. I had digestion problems all my life until I started to eat low carb with lots of vegetables like broccoli, Brussels sprouts, asparagus, avocado, Swiss chard, etc.. which don’t provide a lot of fiber but are greatly beneficial for gut bacteria.
You only need fiber to poop out the fiber… biggest reason people get gut permeation…
Fibre is important to diet. Dr R Lustig has it sorted, worth listening to.
Can I just say I love your channel? I have learned so much from watching you!
I blend oat into flour, its way easier to eat faster when cooked, i don’t have to chew for ages before swallowing, this is the best trick i have ever done in my life.
Now, no matter how much alcohol i drink and eat this oatmeal, i don’t purge the next day
Given an established gut biome dominated by prevatella bacteria can digest fiber and release the fiber bound phytonutrients, not only is fiber important to feed such bacteria, but the establishment of such a culture accomplished only by a fully plant-based dietary regimen instead of a bacteriodes family of bacteria dominant in a mixed plant-animal dietary regimen that also results in the bacteriodes converting choline and carnitine to TMAOs, the proper WFPB diet is critical as a foundational condition!
To summarize, a mixes animal-plant regimen results in a gut biome dominated by bacteriodes bacteria. This not only cannot digest fiber and release the fiber-bound phytonutrients, but it also converts carnitine and choline into noxious TMAO by-products.
Eating a whole food plant based no oil diet allows the prevatella bacteria to dominate the gut biome, and this not only does not generate TMAOs, but it is able to digest WFPB fiber and release the myriad fiber bound phytonutrients.
For almost 7 yrs the views hv only 29x,xxx which indicated either you actually don’t want to spread the true medicines for the populations or else due to the reason as the following ->. Also used a nurse to talk about it in a 1.5-hrs length but under the name of the Univ. of CA. When noticed your videos, viewer will immediately cut it off. Not interested. Sorry. Waste our viewers’ big time.
Not convinced. Saw the first 25 minutes, but then the length of time the Quaker Oats box stayed on the screen told me all I needed to know. Maybe there is a role in modulating glucose absorption from the gut, but then if you don’t eat refined carbs that’s hardly likely to be a problem anyway.
As Zoe Harcombe points out, a] the case for fibre is not convincing b] the “dietary guidelines” for daily intake were made up without any reference to facts or research c] the closeness of international cereal companies like Kellogg’s to Governmental food agencies does not stand up to scrutiny and d] if we really feel we need it we can get more than the dietary guidelines suggest from veg and pulses. No need for grains at all.
If I do increase my fiber consumption will I also need to upgrade to a higher quality toilet paper?
Love your videos Kait, thanks for all the info:D
We are a keto/carnivore family and I noticed you mentioned in one of your videos about not liking organ meat (I get it!). Here is my tip: Try it in meatballs (even the kids eat them)!
I use:
2kg ground beef
500g of liver (lamb/beef/chicken it doesn’t really matter)
half cup of chia seeds (could probably use almond flour or coconut flour instead if preferred!)
4 x Eggs
garlic + salt (go heavy, but not to excess on either!)
Herbs to your liking (I go heavy on an Italian herb mix).
The trick is in preparation….
Freeze the liver solid, take it straight out of the freezer and grate it (any ole cheese grater will do!)
Mix everything together well (by hand or any other means!)
Let the mixture sit for a couple hours in the fridge (the chai seeds hold everything together and soak up extra moisture)
Wrap the meatball around a square of your favorite cheese, rinse repeat until you have all your cheese filled raw meatballs.
Either cook them in a pan on med-low heat or in an oven tray @ 180C for about 20 mins (flip them at 10 mins):D
Enjoy those hidden bio-available vitamins without that liver taste 😉

why call fiber a nutrient when it doesnt provide any nutrition?
You don’t need fibre if you eat enough fat with your food. Just don’t eat cornflakes.
The Global Insoluble dietary fibre Market is forecast to grow at a CAGR 10.01% to 11.1% during the forecast period 2019 to 2024.
The indigestible portion of food derived from plants, which doesn’t dissolve in water and is highly metabolically inactive is defined as an insoluble dietary fibre. Insoluble fibres are potential sources of prebiotics and are extensively employed in the food industry due to their versatile usage. Insoluble fibre is found in foods such as wheat bran, vegetables, and whole grains. It adds bulk to the stool and appears to help food pass more quickly through the stomach and intestines.

Another 33 degree CON Troll Freakmason Sel ected ActWhore Following Scripts, but she does tell some Honest truth. Fiber Is good.
People think they poop like kings/queens when they eat a tonne of fiber buy don’t realise how much better your digestive system can perform on a primal diet.
The thing i really like about your videos is that you research the stuff and provide data.
Why doesn’t Quaker mentions that oats in US are heavily sprayed with glyphosate:). Plus those quickly oat will quickly spike up your sugar level. Total waste of product and unfortunately ignorant people think that they improving their health eating that garbage
I added some fiber cause of my ibs….but also to keep sugar from over spiking….half the time i forget it…lol. You do have to be careful cause there’s a fine line between i feel great and Hershey squirts…..lol. I’m trying to get back to more meat….less all the other junk….
10:08 Why did they put her in a box like that? She looks like she is in front of the Tribunal of International Crimes and Genocides.
if “may reduce” is the best you got you got literally nothing.
She said avoid the sun, so less vit D3, and get vaccines. Vaccines, they have no known health benefit and have clear risks. You lost me there. You parrot way too much bad information.
Stopping or reducing dietary fiber intake reduces constipation and its associated symptoms.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3435786/
Spot on info with the exception of Low fat/ non fat dairy etc… might be because its from 2013? I am now seeing this movement to reduce fiber because its a carb and carbs are not an essential macro. Any quick summation?
Aah tired of western diet experts.. If you want to eat healthy, look what they eat in Thailand, Cambodia, India, Africa and Asia in general. You want to eat vegetables from all the colours of the rainbow with some rice, egg and chicken combined with good healthy spices (not too much salt, that’s also bad for health) It is that simple.
Talking half an hour only about fibers is completely idiocy:D
Why do you think we have so much cancer and illness here in the west and not in Africa and Asia? Because we listen to these experts:D
“I don’t always eat but when I do I eat organic whole foods.”
Low fat, high carbs, get vaccinated. Got it. That’s the same prescription that got us into this condition to begin with.
Which fibre is essential? I was pretty sure you only need Fat and Protein, you liver will make everything your body needs from that. sort out your diet and you dont need Fiber.
Seven and a half bowls of oatmeal will give you the required thirty grams of fiber in a day.
1:00:30 What a bigot. i am a binary, gender fluid trans person who identifies as a Transformer on Monday Wednesdays and Fridays and a Teletubbie on the remaining days and I am offended.
Triglycerides is the bad cholesterol. Not LDL. Don’t trust this person.
Does anyone know why grains are feared by some nutritionists? I eat oats everyday and feel healthy and am.
The medical community doesn’t know how to keep the human body healthy. Gary Null has been truly educating people about real health for forty years. This is only six years old and still she doesnt come close to what the body actually needs. BE YOUR OWN DOCTOR! FOOD IS MEDICINE!!
I discovered much of the evidence you used in this video when studying the keto diet. Spread the word!!! So many food myths need busting.
Some good information but lacking information about the dangers of a high carb diet.
She keeps harping on Protein. as a dietician she surly should know there is Protein in everything including watermelon.
Oats has about 16 Grams of Protein for 100 gm of dry oats whereas cows milk has 7.7 grams of Protein for one cup 240 ml of Milk.
Hi Kait! Love you! Love your channel! One year ago my doctor told me that I was diabetic. I took the challenge to do something about my health. I saw a dietitian, she told me to journal what I ate. The journal wasn’t working. It told me when I ate the banana but I began to realize that it isn’t when I ate the banana but that I ate it. I made a new chart/table. Its columns were feelings that I had 15 to 20 minutes after I ate. Bad feelings: gagging, nausea, discontent, diarrhea; stretched, stuffed, full but no fed signal; pain; ache, discomfort, sneeze; hungry; thirsty; tired, exhausted; limit warning; spit it out; Good feelings: content, comfort, awake; warm, satisfied, satiated; a thank you rush; a fed signal. I distinguished a difference between fed and full. If I ate properly I felt fed without feeling full. If I was full but still didn’t feel fed, still opening the fridge door looking for food, than I ate the wrong food for it failed to feed me. Fibre makes me feel full but not fed. I wrote down what I ate under each column based on how I felt 15 to 20 minutes after I ate. I lost 55 lbs (25kg) (4 stones). I no longer have arthritic pain, no longer have heartburn, no more chest pains, no more stomach pains, and no more anxiety attacks. My skin is unexpectedly healthier. My heart rate has dropped from high 90s to low 70s. I can now stand up off the floor without needing to grab onto a chair or table for help. And best of all my wife hugs me more often. When I started, I had no idea how this food experiment was going to turn out. Overtime, plant based foods ended up in the bad columns and animal based foods in the good columns. To my unexpected surprise, I discovered that I was a carnivore. I now eat over 30 eggs a week, chicken legs, butter, certain cheeses, tallow, seared rare steaks, liver chopped into bits in ground beef. And oh yes! I’m no longer diabetic. Kait, I love your beautiful smile. Keep smiling. I know I will.
I dropped fibre completely and I have not had any stomach pains, bloating or farting since. I also don’t have any constipation either. I have never felt better. You’d be hard put to convince me that any vegetable matter was necessary. I feel too good on a no fibre diet to ever go back. I’m 54, I wish I knew about this 30 years ago.
peanut butter is GMO and liver can not process. American bread is GMO and has Round up which is toxic. This adviser has no clue. If you want good use organic Bee Honey and organic fruits,
Do you find you do better with more or less fiber? Or maybe there’s a sweet spot?
Just to be clear, I am not saying that no one should eat fiber ever again. Clearly some people can tolerate it more than others. But tolerating fiber and fiber being essential for health are two different things.
Been carnivore ie no fibre for 12 months, poops are fine and don’t have piles anymore, this lady is talking crap!
ZERO need for undigestible, rotting, bloating, gut lining destroying Fiber… absolutley ZERO!
We don’t need fiber first because we cannot digest it but is good for diabetics because they get much lower blod sugar if they eat carbs with fiber but in the first place both fiber and carbs are not good
How come none of these experts differentiate between dense and less dense ldl? Dense ldl is bad, very low density is, from what I’m reading, not harmful. Also Rice Krispies have sugars added, and the milk is designed to make a baby cow add fat and grow fast, it’s not meant for big humans
I “developed” IBS some 12 years ago. At the time I was trying to eat a more “healthy” diet after developing Diabetes. For 12 Months I have been very low carb and now 4 months Keto (nearly Carnivore) and OMAD. I now am “pre diabetic” with reduced medication. I have absolutely no IBS and no more excess stomach acid with perfect blood pressure.
I do clean Keto and I eat 7-10 cups of leafy and other vegetables a day. LOW CARB does not mean low vegetables.
This is based i epidemiology, I other words l. This is the lowest form of “science”.
I’m not against female but men explain these types of lectures about health Vegan diets very well than female lecturers.
Milk is death
How can you recommend people drink milk? You need to do some research. Milk and cheese have casein which has the same affect on your brain as do cocaine and heroin.
Note to producers: The first two minutes, administrivia about the college course, should be deleted. It’s completely irrelevant to the majority of watchers, the people on the ‘Net.
You should never record a speech in front of a hard surface like the white-board here: it adds a nasty harsh tone to the audio. This is always unpleasant and is particularly noticeable with higher registered or female voices.
This is a perfectly sound lecture and should be re-recorded in presentable form for publication on YouTube. Spare us your practice session though, OK?
Hi Kait, I heard that fibre is what the good bacteria in our guts use as food. Is there something to this? I’m on lose carnivore and just recently added some psyllium husk and flax seed for fibre. I’m having immune system issues and someone recommended fibre can help. Any thoughts?
Using transgenic mice that mildly overexpress FIAF in peripheral tissues we show that FIAF is an extremely powerful regulator of lipid metabolism and adiposity. FIAF overexpression caused a 50% reduction in adipose tissue weight, partly by stimulating fatty acid oxidation and uncoupling in fat. extracted from http://www.jbc.org, Jun 15, 2005
Eat a whole food plant based diet without oil, salt and sugar and animal based products to have all excellent nutrition with decreased inflammation including heart disease and rheumatologist diseases plus decrease cancer risk.
Eat at home before going to a restaurant with friends. Carry fruits for snacks.
38:10 GET VACCINATED?!?!?! JUST WHOSE SIDE ARE YOU ON ANYWAY?? KISS MY GRITS.
Fiber is highly correlated to nutrient density, but is fiber really essential? And should we be so focused on fiber that we neglect to eat it in its original whole food form? Should we be getting fiber primarily from sources that also contain high amounts of fructose? Adding fiber to foods (fortified) or getting fiber from grains (grain proteins, GMOs & pesticides are of particular concern) that are highly processed can leave you with foods that may not be as nutrient dense or benefit your overall health if consumed in high amounts. Food for thought…
14:00 the two things that keep you full are protein and fat not fiber!
You wanna maintain a healthy heart? Cut out CARBS and SUGAR, That means sugar from any source, added sugar and FRUIT! Eating fruit for the fiber also ups your intake of sugar. Eating carbs just makes you hungry sooner. Its the reason the majority of Americans are over weight! Eat natural whole foods like our ancestors did including some animal fat. Eat veggies. Cancer cells can only survive by eating SUGAR! Stay away from processed foods. Don’t blame salt for what sugar does to your body. Dr Atkins was right back in the 70’s he had a great diet. Don’t eat anything made from wheat. Don’t blame the obese person for little exercise. It is the diet that is to blame and specifically the industry for additives especially SUGAR. There is no correlation between physical activity, cholesterol and heart disease. Shift from fruit and eat more vegetable fiber with less sugar and no carbs! She doesn’t like the low carb diet saying it is not high fiber. But that is not completely right, a low carb diet includes veggies which are full of fiber.
Just eat REAL FOOD, like Dr. Robert Lustig says. Eat a variety of REAL Foods. That’s the kind of food that’s been around for years, that our Grandparents ate. Don’t eat much sugar and DON’T EAT ANY PROCESSED junk! It’s NOT REAL Food!!
Fiber is an integral part of our bodies’ built in detoxification system. When our body is attempting to rid itself of excess hormones( our own and those we take in from eating animals and their circulating hormones), waste products, etc. they are released into the digestive tract where it binds to fiber so it can be expelled. Without sufficient fiber these waste products are absorbed back into the blood stream and continue to circulate through the body.
Fiber also is the main food source for the beneficial bacteria in our guts. Also called prebiotics. If gut health is a concern it is essential to keep your beneficial bacteria fed and multiplying to keep your pathogenic bacteria in check. This is especially important for anyone consuming animal products because they are a major food source for pathogenic bacteria, on top of most meat being contaminated with antibiotic resistant bacteria. The issue of minerals binding to fiber rendering them unusable is a false flag since our bodies only absorb what is needed at any given time, and have immense capacity to recycle and regulate storage and use of vitamins/minerals/ amino acids.
Yes some people have a harder time with fiber, that is not necessarily permanent or caused by the fiber itself, but rather the symptom of an underlying problem, and for the vast majority of people more fiber will benefit them greatly.
I don’t think we need much (if any) fiber.I went without any when I was a full carnivore for 3 months. I felt great, had perfect heart health and regular well formed bowels. I only eat once per day and didn’t feel hungry during the day. I think this is BS for selling bread. Wheat is a terrible food. Bread and sugar need to be banned.
It certainly is. Check out Nathan Pritikin for more data-backed insights!
“Low carb people are cranky because they’re constipated” is bias, not scientific fact. That comment, among others, has me wondering if she has any science upon which to base these opinions.
She should stuff some fiber in her armpits to absorb that sweat.
what does blending food into smoothies do to fiber content?
Why does she not promote vegan beans and vegetables and fruit get short shrift whole wheat bread is not as healthy as rye
Dont use dairy. Period. End of story. There is no argument, there is no debate. It is all bad. Hv a nice day
Good presenters speak as though they’re talking to just one person. Not the case here, she sounds like a badly made tv advert, acting her way through what might’ve otherwise been a half decent presentation. Irritating.
Fiber doesn’t contain any nutrition but irritates the intestines. It’s obsolete. 1.5 hours on an obsolete thing is ridiculous.
SUBSCRIBED I’m eating Polysaccharides like Elephants right not and feel super!!!
I had IBS and SIBO for years.. stopped eating fiber and healed. So.. no, I didn’t need it and feel way better without it.
5:24 “10-15% of people in the U.S. have IBS.”
That’s an average of 1 in 8.
Can you post video about SIBO and streptococous bacteria how to them with carnivore diet? Please next your video.
So I learned through years of pain and experimentation that most fruit and veg was death for me. I wonder though, is there any benefit to juicing the veg? Spinach cucumbers etc? I avoid fodmaps so fruit juices are off the table.
Excellent, thanks a lot. Cheers from a happy, healthy vegan!
Do you know of specific studies that have shown how eating meat is healthy? I know that it is, because of my past with veganism ruining my health, but now when I debate vegans, they ask for citations and it looks like most of the studies are showing meat is unhealthy. I know the studies are comparing vegetarians to standard american crappy dieters so it’s really the processed carbs and sugars that are unhealthy, but are there any studies comparing vegetarians to keto/low carb/dr weston price nourishing traditions type diet? Why not? Are the powers that be trying to keep us sick?
Hi Kait. I love that you back your words with research! TY. Your argument re veganism for the environment & animal welfare was incredible. Had no idea abt all those mice! And cow farts, ya that’s the problem, come on! Anyway, I’m wondering abt the claim that fiber is necessary for feeding our gut bacteria which then produce short chain fatty acids which supposedly gives us better health & protection, etc. Is fiber needed for good gut health? TIA.
If fibre isn’t digestable by the gut then what’s the point in eating it. You just make more shit.
This woman is one of the most ill informed, non scientific, ill disciplined charlatans I have had the misfortune to have to turn my nose up at. This entire video is nothing more than a mindless regurgitation of dogmatic (however totally wrong) and actually dangerous misinformation. It is RIDICULOUS that RDs like this person will stand up and talk such utter rot. Anyone who wants to learn about actual science, or how to look after your health should see my channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChi5M3k_K4yuRpWAp00xBQA, and with respect to fiber particularly, one should search for Dr Paul Mason.
Is this dumb talk trying to imply that a completely unnecessary non-nutrient is “the most important nutrient?” I stopped eating fiber nearly completely a year ago, and I feel infinitely better. Luckily, there is robust science that contradicts the pseudo-science of this presentation, so I know that my own personal anecdote is not a one-off.
Be wary—this was posted in 2013, but the talk and nutritional “facts” are from 1989:(
We dont need plants but since our ancestors invented fermentation we can eat them.

eat a variety of foods and you will be healthy. why? because you will have a diverse microbiome, which is the key to true health.

Can I use rice flour in Ibs? plz tell me I’m badly suffering from Ibs…..
Can I replace wheat flour with rice flour or any other flour……. can you plz tell which flour should I use???
Oatmeal = LECTINs = no bueno. Read Plant Paradox! Of course only use organic for what it’s worth.
Great video! I raised my six year old son on lots of fruits and veggie and some meat thrown in. For almost a year he experienced stomach cramps after he ate. Took him to the doctor and he was so backed up. I’ve been eating keto for almost a year now. I put him on a loose keto diet. The only veggies he can eat are cooked and he eats cured meats and healthy fats. I make bone broth for him and add collagen into his food. I kid you not…for 2 months he has not had one stomach ache and is going regularly I think I was feeding him way too many uncooked veggies and his body couldn’t digest it all.
Since going Keto I no longer have bloating and gas. It took almost a month for my system to have regular bowel movements, but all’s well now.
I will never eat man-made and prepackaged food. I don’t care it’s from general meal or any other thieves.
I only eat whole food
” FIAF—fasting-induced adipose factor.
While we’re fasting, our body has to stop storing fat and instead start to burn it off. FIAF is one of the hormones that signals our body to do this, which could be useful for someone who is obese, and may be one way our gut flora manages our weight. Some bacteria repress this hormone, thereby increasing fat storage. In contrast, when we feed fiber to our fiber-eating bacteria, those that secrete short-chain fatty acids like butyrate are able to upregulate this hormone in all human cell lines so far tested” extracted from NutritionFact.org
This woman makes some good points about fibre but then is totally wrong about getting it from bread, breakfast cereals, “whole grains”, oatmeal, and flour, etc. That stuff will kill you with high carbohydrates/insulin and inflammatory grains. But then of course, she is a dietician and they give out the same sort of bad information that diabetes associations and “diabetes educators” constantly push.
Complete nonsense! Whole grains and oats are the worst things you could eat. As for pre and T2D… fruits and starchy vegetables are toxic!
An important message that needs to be raised. Fibre is at best overstated, and at worst detrimental to one’s health.
Great video. I’m on Keto & under 10 carbs a day, and was just wondering about not getting any fiber in my diet. Thanks for easing my mind.
how do we ever get anything in this world that is good for us with monsanto in control of all the food and seeds? i will wait for the answer all this she is saying is bs cause she is not saying the reason people are not so healthy today is monsantos fault. this is all fake news here.
Recommending grains, grains, grains! Humans should not eat grains!
Awesome video, Kait and thanks for letting me know about Najobe beef. Very good quality and very affordable!
Fruit has more sugar than most junk food today. It’s terrible for you. Also, saturated fats are incredibly healthy for you.
