I could only find a corn beef brisket is that still fine to use and it will turn out the same?
I love all your recipes, your very easy to follow and inspiring.
thank you for all your uploads your the bomb!!!
This video should have more dislikes. I dont mean to be rude but cmon lol.
Plz do the keto bacon bomb. Nikko tried but it looked shocking
Great video! I have all the time in the world right now to leisurely oven cook a beef brisket and I’m so doing it.
Ugh I bought 3lbs of beef brisket for $30 and cut off all the fat & it didn’t turn out good at all & was a waste of money
You stupid moron….who in the hell can follow that?!
How about this…………eat ME!!
You have to give it to these Tasty people, they REALLY know how to fuck up a steak sometimes, why the hell use sirloin in a slow cooker???
Sorry how do you use the liquid for left overs??? Do you store it in that in the fridge or just put it back in slow cooker with the left over juice to reheat? Thanks!!!!
just bought my brisket.. Looks wonderful can’t wait to make this!
>>> arah.in/6Y82 I love this crock-pot more than I can say. I just wish I actually liked cooking to any degree. But I digress… I had considered the insta pots, but the price tag was much more than I felt was warranted given the fact that I’m not all that interested in spending more time planning and cooking meals. So this seemed like the best option for me. And I’m very happy with my purchase. Especially in the cooler weather, it’s nice to be able to drop something in the crock-pot before leaving for work and know dinner will be ready, but not grossly over cooked, when I return home. My old crock-pot was perfectly functional, but I was lured by the keep-warm feature of this one.
Just curious. You sound like you have a degree. Do ya?:) (So impressed with your recipes and how you represent Hispanics! Very jealous!!!)
who doesn’t even have a slow cooker and is a broke student and watches food videos instead of makeup videos?
Loving the technique and results! The only thing I would do differently would be deglazing the stainless steel pan before adding the onions.
You need to start listening to the comments about under seasoning. Just put the right amount. You make me worried that youre not getting a healthy dose of seasoning in your life.
I made this brisket over night! It was awesome! Thank you for posting it
Kecepatan nih, jd susah mo nyatat nya but still thanks
I went to the store and got me a brisket and I’m going to try this at looks so good yummy yummy yummy thank you
Looks amazing! Thanks for the simple recipe! And I just happen to have all the ingredients at home, too.:-)
Looking for a new slow cooker and thinking of buying one at oener.mba/srye8 do you recommend any?
This stuff have too much grease on it you should take it out and discard the liquid I’ll put it in a bowl and refrigerate it overnight and then make the broth awesome sauce can’t stand all look greasy food
Not only is it an easy recipe but it looks YUMMY!
I”mma gonna try!
THANKS FOR POSTING!!!!
I followed your marinade recipe and have my brisket in the fridge. Cant wait to give it a try tomorrow for dinner. Thanks.
Thank you so much I’ve already marinated the meat Im so excited to try this!!
Best way of explaing why 2 pack down brown sugar I’ve ever heard. Perfect!
thanks to the comments, i found your rub recipe. Has anyone tried this with a store brought rub; if so what kind and how much per beef brisket size?
Someone should make a video of Gordon Ramsey tasting tasty recipesI think it would be the greatest joy lol.
2:18 NOW DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHEN WE SAY WHITE PEOPLE CANT SEASON?!
That’s a proper tasty looking meal! Problem is my local butcher wont have a clue what a brisket is
You can use that leftover juice to throw some ground meat in there and make chili right afterwards!
Open the ties of the chicken season under thighs and wings and tie back againah! Beef broccoli is lovely.
Do you use a 1/3 of cup of garlic powder and then 1/3 of a cup of onion powder and then another 1/3 cup of grounded black pepper or is it a 1/3 a cup of all the above??!
What size is that slow cooker? and what about the 1 tbsp olive oil on list but never mentioned in video?
I’m gonna do this early in the morning so it’s ready for dinner! I cannot wait! Can I just use salt and pepper? I don’t know what rub to use.
12 hour for meat god damm i find this video difficult but not impossible ti masturbate too
I tried your recipe and it was sooo good. I dont have a slow cooker, so I put it in the oven 8 hrs on 300F. I do think it could be less greasy if I trim most of the fat. Thank you so much!
Thanks for saving my brisket, i haven’t had the time to smoke in the kamado so iv been looking for a quick cook and this looks good
yay! weeee! very nice alternative to not having a firebox grill!
since the fat is on top why not grill it (broiler) at the end, then you’d get crispy fat.
Such a bad idea, watching this at 12am! and in the UK no less, I love Amercian food I just want to eat the whole table! looks like everything was made with love…which, we both know means patience and the generous high-grade seasoning. well done and thank you for sharing
I doubt you’ll read this, but if you do I FIRST OFF want to say I love your recipes and energy!!!! Thank you!
Secondly though, do you have any advice? I’ve never made brisket before and I followed your recipe, but for some reason mine came out hard (after I let it sit for about 1.5 hours after broiling/charring the bark). It tasted great, but was not juicy and actually felt hard when I picked it up. Did I let it sit too long? Should I have put it back into the juices right away?
That actually looks pretty good. Best crock pot version Ive seen!
Excellent. This widower will be escaping the opening cans and heating in microwave system I am used to. Or ordering delivery food.
buy my homemade BBQ rub recipe…message me ill give you my indoor rub recipe for free
My husband makes a delicious brisket but he marinades it with either apple juice or orange juice. It is soooooo good and so moist.
Will initially searing the brisket enable me to avoid the broiler step? Thank you.
What if i cannot find lemon pepper what will be the best substitite for the said ingredient.thanks.
12 fucking hours for a tiny piecve of meat like that? fuck me
I can´t pronounce “Worcestershire” sauce ;D (i´m from germany) that hopefully won´t spoil my brisket cooking endeavour. Thank you for this recipe, it looks delicious 😉
How can it be hearty if they are all loaded with animal fat and animal protein?
Looking for a new slow cooker and thinking of buying one at oener.mba/4svsp do you recommend any?
If you use a thicker or thinner brisket, do you cook it for the same time?
Tried it. Fabulous! Never considered cooking beef this way. Many thanks.
Let me tell you lol….I tried to lift my brisket out the crockpot and it fell apart lol. After letting it sit for about an hour I just tasted it and it so tender! I did a brisket rub and I make my own onion soup mix and it is so good. Thanks for the recipe!
Fantastic presentation! I will be trying this over the weekend. The only other thing I have to say is I hope that was Lea and Perrins brand Worcestershire sauce you used…..because there is NO substitute! ;^}
I made this yesterday and it was so good! Wifey loved it too
Will this cooking technique ( temperature per pound ratio) work on a smaller brisket. Like a two pound or a three pound brisket? Or will I have to lower temperature?
Now I don’t need to buy a smoker, thanks man! Came out great!
Wow, it is possible then! Always wondered about brisket in a slow cooker but never dare to try it after my turkey fiasco. You rock, thanks for the video! What do you think about using liquid smoke on the brisket just to make it a more bbq experience?
Wow great job i have a pellet and wood smoker but i have to try this my mouth was drooling
Another once cheap cut of meat made popular, probably because of the fashion for pulled pork, now cost £9 a Kilo!
I love this crock pot.>>> t.co/x7srA2PzKV Excellent for the holidays and when you want to prepare for a large crowd.
i followed this feed five people it was amazing, do it once a week now, cheers
Thanks for a slowcooker recipe! I’ll be making this over the weekend!
Why do Americans love using sugar to cook? Sugar doesn’t go with everything, especially cooked meals
Wow that brisket looked amazing, i’m normally one for not finishing meat off in the oven, but this looked amazing.

I love your recipes and this came out soooooo good family was sooooo impressed
Ok, hands down best video on how to cook a crockpot brisket. I am from Texas and have cooked quite a few briskets on the grill and I can say that this brisket looks just like one off the grill. Simple ingredients and instructions to follow. I have seen some joke videos where they cook it 4 hours and say its the best brisket. Uh, no….. should always be cooked low and slow… great video…..
Must have in the kitchen. Very Good product. Check here: https://amzn.to/2t647Dm
@Simplymamacooks gonna let this 6 ponder thaw and use your receipe. However, when did the beef broth get used?
Loved this video. Excellent work! Subscribed. This will be my weekend project.. Thank you!!!!
$6 LB for brisket is a cheaper cut. I must shop the ultra-cheap cut$.
Hey Todd.. just prepped everything to throw in the slow cooker before heading out to work tomorrow morning.. made it all up based on the written recipe in the description.. then watched the video after just to check it was all looking right.. and it looked spot on.. but then I realised something…
Written recipe says 1tbsp of Worcestershire sauce.. and your video says 1tsp.. I’ve now put a tbsp in.. reckon it’ll make much difference?
This is the only video which does NOT sear meat prior to putting in slow cooker?
Hey Todd.. Maintain a clear speaking voice.. You emphasize the last word by drawing it out..
Ketchup and tomato sauce are two different sauces as tomato sauce has a lot more vinegar and is tart compared with ketchup being mild.
ketchup and tomato sauce are very different as tomato sauce has a lot more vinegar and is really tart.
I just want the recipe! I can’t find it anywhere, only this youtube video.
in the ingredients it says 1 tbsp olive oil i didnt see the part where u added it
What cut is this called in Australia? I can not find it in woolies?
Also Todd if you can when doing a slow cooker receipe could you mention how to do it on pressure cook too? I am so tempted to buy one of these Phillips cookers.
Thanks for the code for the knives. $50 off sounds amazing. Sadly I can not afford the difference
I left mine for 24 hours! was so tender afterwards, fell right apart.:D
You’re saying “like butter” as you saw through the meat. Is the problem the meat or the knife?
When you introduce a grill or a stovetop, it’s no longer a slow cooker recipe
Nicely done!! Never crossed my mind to do brisket in a slow cooker
I love Brisket I will definitely be making this it looks delish Thank you, Todd, for another great recipe:-)
I made this, and it was perfect! God bless you, and a Merry Christmas-
Hi! I have loved this recipe! If i have two pieces of 4 lbs each and i want to cook them toghether, showld i cook it for 4 or 8 hours? I suppouse are 4 because it is the size of each piece separately the one that matters. Thaks a lot!!
Best simple recipe…haven’t done anything but smoked…I thought about a combo of crock pot and oven and what do we have here!! First video I watch is what I had in mind, just wanted some guidance!!! Thank you
What a mighty fine looking beef brisket, buddy. What makes beef brisket different from other beef?
Thank you Todd another great recipe as always have a great week ✨
I like the look of those knives…too bad the code doesn’t work any more:(
omg I’m saving this video for the after holiday get together. I love the one hand rub the other sprinkle method. I am absolutely grateful for this tutorial!
I always put parchment paper in between my food and the aluminum don’t let your food touch aluminum it leaches into your food and will slowly poison you
Tried a version of this tonight. Superb. The sauce was awesome. Great stuff. Thank you!!!
If I can whip up a bomb; I am sure I can figure this out too. It is just cooking; at the end of the day. I am very interested.
I have a 6 qt crock pot and I struggled to get a 4lbs brisket in there. Following your recipe on your blog I have no clue how you fit a 7-8lb one in there.
Don’t watch this when you’re high.. because now i want ribs
I cooked my first whole brisket using your recipe. It was a great success. I especially liked the sauce with the pan onions. I’ve tried cooking flats using a sous vide precision cooker in the past and was disappointed. A quick two hour smoke right out of the refrigerator before proceeding with the browning step was the only modification I made. My 8.5 lb. brisket was super tender with just 6 hours in the oven. Thank you for this recipe!
Did not use Morton’s tender quick but did everything else.♀️SO DELICIOUS!!!!! Definite do again-so happy I found this one
Bcoz of this I subscribed
Anyone else have trouble with the flour to butter in the potato soup? I dont end up with anything like theirs by following their recipe. It becomes a dough.
My mouth literally started to water seeing those final shots. Yep, it’s cooking time! Thanks for the video!!
Wow Coop!, I haven’t had good brisket since my Daddy passed away. He made the best. Your recipe might just give me what I’ve been missing. Thanks for sharing.
Gurl you are moving on up. That’s roasting pan and that butcher’s block is the bomb. That stainless steel roasting pan like a two burner skillet!!!
I feel like it goes to fast and on the ribs i didnt get the timeing is it 8 hours on low then 4 hours on high thats 12 hours just for ribs ribs
Why do you make the vid do fast people!! Alitl slower so we can have a better look!!!!
Dang this looks amazing I’ll be making this..
BTW what did you do with all the leftover sauce with all the oil after taking out all the onions?
I just thought of an idea for the appliance show. 1chef, 3 course meals, using 3 slow cookers.
Hi! I love your videos. I know that I am extremely late to making this, but I just made this and put it in the slow cooker but I forgot to put the brown sugar in the rub. Will it be ok to sprinkle on brown sugar before broiling it at the end? Please let me know. Greatly appreciate it 😉
Hail to tha yayeaaa mines is almost done it smell fire af lol
The seasoning on that chicken was non existent it must be so dry
The spoon you stirred the onions with made me really happy ☺️☺️
The beef and broccoli is awesome. I substitute Teriyaki instead of Soy
Line your crock pot with a turkey cooking bag. NO cleanup. NO mess
Rub ingredients: 1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 tbsp salt OR salt free seasoning
2 tbsp garlic powder
2 tbsp onion powder
2 tbsp paprika
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp ground cayenne pepper
1 tbsp parsley flakes
Slicing on glass with a kamikoto… whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
Or any knife for that matter
The ribs are out of this world AMAZING!!! I made 2 giant slabs & my boyfriend ate them all..
Making the ribs already today! They look really good! When I was making the bbq sauce, it smelled so good!!! & nice & thick.. can’t wait to taste them.
is anyone else uncomfortable when he says oh yes at the end?
Put this on sour dough bread with cheese and toast… its heaven
this comment section highlights what’s wrong with social media. I scrolled looking for someone who actually made the recipes…all I found were stupid jokes, racist comments, and complaints from vegans. seriously folks?
Ok Todd, this looked delicious, but,,, I am still waiting for the invites for us to come and sample some of those darn delicious looking Christmas desserts you made for Christmas…
I have a big green egg but hate all the trouble, so this video is a good idea, but one question, What if i did every thing you said, but n those last 5 to 10 minutes under broil, instead I put it, (wrapped tightly) in the smoker using apple or cherry wood. Would it improve the flavor? I am thinking I want a way to get some real smoke on it without all patience of full grilling. So your method for everything except substitute real grill instead of broiling? Probably wouldn’t be worth it
please, l want you to make the turkey. But i don’t know. How do you make the Best turkey
Yay!! at last we got the most genius person in the world who says
The most delicious and the most hearty non-vegan meals a slow cooker recipes….
Why??????
Thank you so much for the tips along the way this is exactly what I needed
a new style of brisket
Omg what I discovered right now. This fantastic movie should be called: You have been using your slow cooker wrong all the time.
shut down the awful music…cannot concentrate spoiks ut all.
Soo.. I tried the ribs today and they were so good!!! The slow cooker I used was significantly smaller than the one used in this video. The only thing I did differently was take the ribs out of the slowcooker after 4 hours and then put them in the oven to broil for 25 mins. The end products was tender, fall off the bone and they had a nice color on them too.
Hi Richard, thanks for the recipe. I followed the instructions but my brisket shrank and got really dry after 8 hrs in slow cooker — there was a ton of liquid in the bottom that must have come out of it. Do you have any advice for what I could try next time? My slow cooker has no low setting so maybe that’s the cause.. Should I base the cooking time purely on internal temp and not the number of hours in the slow cooker perhaps? Thanks in advance from England!
Nice video, if i have 2.5 pounds of brisket so i cook it in 250F oven for 2.5 hours?
January 19th 2020 I’m high as a bird and now hungry! Thumbs up
Slow cook its my favorite way to cook so mostly if I making dinner I just make the dinner and slow cook it for at least 8 hours and I got dinner yay:)
If I’m using a pot on the stove, should it be 12 hours as well?
Coop, looks amazing!! Just purchased this rub as well. I would that I’d waited before I made a dried mess of my first brisket last week , but at least it was a half one and not a whole one. I’ll try this, thanks!!
Can’t wait to try it! How long do you let it rest in the foil?
every time i hear the word hearty i think of heart cancer
like if you agree
Do you add any liquid at all to the Crock-Pot? Looks really good I want to try soon
I usually love all your videos but how can Brown sugar and bbq sauce be considered healthy cooking…….. also soooooo many carbs bread potatoes….. omg
So I put this in the crock pot this morning. I came home and put it under the broiler and let it rest. I am enjoying the best brisket of my life! I only used salt (carnivore diet) and it came out so amazingly delicious. Thank you, my dear, I appreciate you!
I’m so going to make this recipe this week with some homemade coleslaw
Can I make this medium rare? It looks a bit overlooked for my taste
great video, now i am hungry… goin to take time and do as you do… can’t wait to try this out. Nice video (production) as well…
Having to use a stove or a grill defeats the whole purpose of a slow cooker
I am single since last 15 years, slow cooker has revolutionized my life, cooking is so easy now that I no longer need a wife, thank you crockpot
made this brisket today and also the green chile macaroni and cheese…both were awesome 😉
the slow cooker is f’ckin amazing if you work all bastard day and like a pint after the orofice
I was taught to sear the meat to keep the juice in, but yours looks wonderful! Either way, I love your recipe girl.
Today I’m starting the second run. First time my guest’s directly wanted to come back once. Nothing on this recipe needs to be changed. It is just perfect. Thank you very much! 😉 Greetings from Amsterdam, Netherlands
We doing this, missing a few ingredients but we doing it anyway!! Thank you
Honestly there’s no way you can make me spend five hours cooking a roast beef just to use the meat for a sandwich. Like for real?
Girl this recipe rocks! Super easy to make and thank you so much! The brisket is mouthwatering and delicious! That liquid is turning into a soup base I’m making right now.
I tried this. SWEET BABY JESUS! This surely is served for dinner in heaven. Thanks a lot Richard! Gracias
Smoked paprika: is that hot or sweet? Also, could I use instead Spanish pimenton? Hungarian paprikash? Chili powder?
Richard, my last two briskets were done in the crock. As far as I’m concerned, can’t be beat! Tender, juicy without all the work involved using a smoker. And thanks for the marinade recipe. God bless!
Put a setting at the table for me. You did a hell of a job on that brisket!!!
With no liquid, it didn’t burn or stick to the bottom of the slow cooker?
Hello Angie how are you doing on this fine day??? I just wanted to wish you a very Happy Mother’s Day… and I know this video is a little over a year old or so. But I just wanted you to know that I made this rub and I just got thru taste testing it and it is out of this world. I was trying to figure out a way to taste it and my cousin suggested that I try it on a chicharon….girl let me tell you…toss some of that rub over some plain pork skins and oh my you have a snack that you will want to keep eating… anyways thanks for the great recipes keep up the great work
You’re so humble and your videos are fantastic! Please keep doing what you do, We love your videos and love the results.. 10/10 you’re a top bloke Rich, thanks for helping with dinner:)
you’re brisket looks so good. I can literally can smell it… thanks.
Lemon Pepper? My wife used to do that and ruin the meat un tell i refused to eat another thing with lemon pepper. YOU SUCK!
followed receipt it’s was crap wouldn’t recommend to anyone who doesn’t like spicy hot food,it went into bin out of 5 people not one person ate it.
How the fuck are you guys saying “worstershire sauce” so smoothly…
Recipe looks good. I saw it yesterday and im trying it Now with a 3lbs of Brisket.
All these summer pulled sandwiches and salads have SLAW of some sort. I seem to never have all the ingredients at one time. Can I freeze slaw?
Yeah I had a slow cooker in my 20s used it all the time for stew especially.
Coop it looks delicious, I have one in the crock pot as I see your video.
We are trying brisket for the first time tomorrow and I will be following your recipe as closely as possible. Keep your fingers crossed for us
Just a heads sup for folks with a smaller piece of meat, using the 1-hr per pound at 250 rule really overcooked my 3lb brisket.
It was still delicious, but not juicy.
I think under 5lbs it likely needs a different formula for cooktime, so learn from my mistake!
When did you start the marinating… i thought the night before but wasnt sure
Nasty! That’s a waste of Brisket. You basically boiled it! Not to mention the wasting of the fat. Damn!
If it’s not pinkest red it’s over cook to me i like it 90 minutes in a presser cooker let it rest for 15 minutes with the cooker off then release the rest of the presser valve should be no presser left take it out let it cool cook nothing else but water and spice with it do not cook the meat with to much water in it put it on a rack and only touch the meat with water it makes its own.
You don’t slow cook prime cuts of beef! What a waste of sirloin…
For a 1.5 lb brisket is about 4 hrs of cooking time at 250 degrees
Girl, you a genius. Tried your slow cooker brisket recipe. Absolutely, out of this world. I am pressing the subscribe button right now!
During this time of the Covid-19 virus with shelter-in-place, this was the most fun I have ever had cooking. Thank you.
Have you ever tried Dry-age meat before?
I wanna see what you gonna do with it, Seems like interesting content too
This is one of the few oven roasted briskets I’ve seen that didn’t look dried out. I’d ‘reverse sear’ it at the end to get a bit of bark on the outside but otherwise looks awesome!
This is similar to how I make mine, but for my sides I like Jambalaya Rice with Smoked Sausage, Charro Beans and Potato Salad! Boy, now I’m hungry! Lol
Stupid question, if I use 13 lbs, do I just double the time? Is should 12 hours still be okay?
I made my first brisket today following your recipe; SO GOOD! Took forever, but totally worth it!
I have to say I love how you use starting seasoning, but also what you used and why in your listed recipe. It makes it so convenient. Love your recipes and how easy it is do follow your directions, with having to goingnto a web site and search and never find what you want. Job well done.
Is your mom single?
If she taught you to cook, I’d like to meet her!
Just got a beef brisket from Costco, wanting to see what it is. Thank you for an easy recipe, I am not afraid of that colossal chunk of meat!
Got a small flat from the store today and am going to try this. Thanks for posting.
My girlfriend is deathly allergic to onions. Is there anyway to substitute the onions with another ingredient?
This looks so good, I’ve just marinated the brisket and can’t wait to cook it tomorrow for the family. I think my hubby was salivating when he saw me putting on the dry rub lol
I’m trying this on Sunday! Thanks to u I will cook a delicious brisket!
Hey Mama, this is comfort food on steroids!!!
Going to try and cook this for my girlfriend here in Melbourne Australia. More than likely will listen to a bit of Guy Clark while we eat it ( A great songwriter originally from Texas) and drink some ice cold beer
Yum. Thank you.
This will be a great method in case there is a total fire ban in my area in Australia and can’t smoke my brisket on the BBQ.
Going to try your sauce, as I failed to get BBQ Sauce for my Australia Day cook out.
Fat is flavor, I hear everyone say that. You never hear fat is a triple bypass though?
My brisket was all bloody. If you need all the supplies in this video now and today you can go to Central Market in Houston. I’ve definitely seen the roasting pan there, I go there to look at it, take pictures of it, and I dream about one day owning it. I’ve seen that impressive butcher’s block also!
The way they cook ribs is wrong, wrong, wrong. you don’t slow cook ribs this way.
Having to keep adding stuff during the cooking process definitely defeats the purpose of a slowcooker
I wonder whose idea was it to mix Beef with Broccoli? Like seriously how did that happen?
Babaaaaaam!!…you sir, are a genius!
Brisket looks delish! Thank you, and appreciate the simplicity, of this recipe!..
DAMN THAT LOOK GOOD! Brisket on sale this week too 1/3 the price of ground beef.
Absolutely brilliant. Easy to follow, no frills, great focus on this brisket. I have never been brave enough to try cooking one, until recently having an oven-roasted brisket that was really tasty. I found your video insightful, and I will do my best to emulate your technique soon.
Also mad kudos for the extras, I have tried a green chili mac and it really wowed me too. You definitely have a passion for this, and for sharing with us, I want to thank you.
How was any of that hearty? The closest you get is with the soup and even then it was only a little bit of potato
Absolutely amazing, didn’t know you could get a smoke ring without the smoker. My wife and I will be giving this one a try for sure.
I just made this and I’m cooking it in the oven at 250 degrees Fahrenheit. I’ve already had it in the oven 2 1/2 hours and it smells so wonderful! We’re having this instead of corned beef today on St. Paddy’s day! I also found your recipe for smothered gravy oxtails! I subscribed so fast to iheart recipes, that my fingers couldn’t keep up! You are a wonderful cook and all I must do is follow them, and make them gluten-free for my health! It’s easy, I use gluten-free flours which are delicious and gluten-free spices and seasonings, woo-hoo I’m in heaven!
This receipt is great and super easy! I made it for my mom and my co-workers and they loved it! Thanks! Delicious!
Thanks so much! Especially that marinade recipe, it’s a winner! Great presentation Sir. Word to the wise. If you get stoned and try to watch this video you will go into an appetite induced come. Lol. Very well done Sir!!!
It amazes me, That all these black fine -ass woman ( not all but the one that say they are gonna learn this ) on this page don’t cook, It reminds me of that joke i heard some one say in the movies “the best way to catch a man is thru his stomach! ( the ones that don’t cook learned ) the best way to get a man is thru his D*^k!
Todd sorry must you must have the most irritating voice I’ve heard and if you think we believe you didn’t get money for advertising those knifes then I’m a Chinaman!!!
Third time i make this and it is delicious. Thank you, great video. I dont have all the ingredients but i make it work with what i have. Still comes out very good. Even the bbq sauce. I spike it with a little jack daniels, and also add 2 TBL of heinz 57.
Just what I was looking for recipes in slow cooker cooking. Love it, love it. Awesome!!
Could you put it on the smoker for a little at a low temp after the slow cooker?
Just finished eating this. Fantastic! Thank you so much for this.
thanks richard i grabbed a brisket and diddnt want to man the bbq for 10 hrs:P time to wipe dust off slowcooker
Made this last night and turned out good. Just a question tho. When I set it on the onions they broke apart after a few hours and the brisket started to drown in juice. I took some juice out because I was very positive it wasn’t supposed to do that. So is the juice supposed to touch the brisket at all?
Good question. Yes. 1/3 cup of each, but keep in mind I made enough to keep on hand for a rub with other recipes. Just use enough to thoroughly cover the brisket. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching. I appreciate it.
I was looking for a brisket recipe that did not include onion. My husband cannot have onion. This looks perfect for my Christmas dinner. Thanks!
Can I find these recipes in a written version I’m extremely hungry
Why does the ribs look different from the ones taken out of the crockpot? The finished product looks a bit charred and it’s totally different shape/size…?
im so trying this tomorrow!! i work All day and by the time i get dinner ready we are eating a bit late.. THIS would be great to put on before heading off to work. And dinner would be ready at a normal time. Plus this will be my first brisket to make.
Thank you THANK YOU
Hey Richard this is BULL you gave us a science lesson in this video and I’m looking for a science lesson in each video after that. What’s up I need more science in my cooking. ;-0) Keep them coming. Peace be with you.

Hello from england, thanks for making an excellently helpful video. Ive subscribed now and look forward to any more of your videos. Stay safe and enjoy the brisket
I enjoy cheap cuts of beef because they usually do have more flavour in them. I usually use a can of chopped tomatoes as my tenderizer but that BBQ sauce you made to cook the brisket in looked good and yummy. Where I live there are no shops that sell brisket very often and no butcher shops at all so it isn’t easy to come by, although I am in what is referred to as Alberta Beef country. Yeah, odd. But it’s small towns all around and the big beef producers don’t sell locally very often.
Had a look for those knives at Amazon Canada and then at the Kamikoto company page to check prices and value for money. The knives are, typically, very expensive for the average home cook ($400 on amazon.ca for that single chef knife, for instance). I wouldn’t buy direct from the company because their return policy isn’t good… you can return within 14 days [with their pre-approval] but you can’t have used the knives at all… so how do you know if they’re wrong for you? At least with Amazon you can return things without that b.s.
Good content in video and presentation of video. You are a boss
Richard I have one in the slow cooker rite now….Thanks so much!
Loved this video, very nicely done. I was just wondering, if you are using kosher brisket meat (which is already salted) how much salt should I put in? or maybe non at all?..that last ingredient you put in, what was it called again? does that have salt in it? Thanks!
I wish i had seen your vid yesterday. I made a 1 pounder, on the slow cooker today. I made a paste using the liquid smoke plus seasoning and heavily covered the brisket and left it in fridge for 15 hours. I layered the bottom of the slow cooker with red onion and added about a cup of beef broth, 1/3 of cup of worcheister sauce and 1/3 cup of cooking wine, cooked on slow for 8 hours. It was both juicy and tender. Tasted awesome. Not as good as actual smoked brisket, but good anyeays
the recipe looked great, good cook amount, my only thing was that the final product looked a bit dry, and that’s probably because he cut the fat cap off, and he placed the meat on top of the onions, so it didn’t reabsorb any of the juices, so that’s what i would do different, i will give this a try. Thanks
Love potatoes soup, you could also make cabbage soup the same way!
thanks so much for the explanations as why you do what you do, makes it so much easier
i would genuinely like to toss a few back with you buddy! great video!
Oh my goodness, I’m salivating over what I’ve just watched!!! The brisket looked so juicy and delicious!!! And the green beans looked so amazing!!! I’ve never cooked brisket but I have a feeling I’ll be cooking it in the very near future!!! Thanks so much for sharing your recipe and making me so hungry!!! ☮️
Ty for this recipe. I’ve slow cooked brisket before but not with a rub. Plan to cook some for our church luncheon.
I’m sure they’re gonna love it.
Oh you’re so wrong for this I’m a vegan.
But you are tempting me to change
So after you cut the fat off the brisket you sit outside and chew it, that sound about right? I just bought one and will give your recipe a try looks great.
Thank you for putting this video together. I searched a long time for an informative slow cooker video. I really enjoyed it and learned something new
One thing: What does “chewing the fat” mean?
