It probably taste fantastic and tasty, lets not think about how much saturated fats it contains because of so much butter and cheese.
Great, easy recipe! My non-vegan fiancé loves this recipe and so do I! I love cooking but I am tired of recipes that take forever. This took me about a half hour (not including cooking time) and I am slow.
Delish…Dish!!! Made it and Love it 2 Day!!! You will need more homemade sauce!!!!!
This is and was…GOOD!!!!!
Wow! looks so yummy!!! pls suggest some replacement for egg!
Thank you for your positive feedback. You can search for a video on how to make bechamel in our channel, it is really simple! Merry Christmas to you too!
Bechamel sauce is butter, flour, and milk. Combined with both the various cheeses this will have a huge fat content. How is this “healthy”? It might taste good but that isnt the same thing.
Induction burners make a whining buzzing noise, unfortunately. They need better mics.
Sometimes I REALLY want a big project like Bolognese or Lasagna and this Spinach Lasagna has a lot of great tips and ingredients to consider.
this lockdown thing will always make sure that we people usss, always runn out the groceries, well this is beyond tempting lasagne in vegan ofcourse❤️❤️
Vegan never looked so delicious before!! Thank you for the amazing recipe
Can you layer the zucchini and the spinach in raw? I want to add it to my tomato sauce in the lasagna which i allready prepped earlier and put in the freezer. But I am a bit lazy and do not want a whole lot of cleaning pots and pans. Or should i just stick to traditional lasagna?
Looks delicious. I might add some roasted or sauted sweet bell peppers to this. And, I’d probably want to add a tomato sauce (marinara sauce) over everything. But, I’m sure that this is great just as presented.
How could this recipe be modified to vegan? Cashew cream and or tofu?
That is so great, I like the way you did that, I hope i can follow the recipe. Looks so goooood
Yesss the simpler the recipe, the better! I don’t like following recipes that have too many ingredients!
So, I just made this for the family Sunday lunch. Followed the instructions, but made 50% more. extremely popular, even the eldest’s girl friend had about three slices. Feel that artichokes might go well on top, or eggplant, especially the japanese kind. So delicious, many thanks for this!
i wanted a vid of tis wit speaking my friend told me. i am blind
Good demonstration and recipe, the pasta sheets can all be boiled at the same time, boiling it individually is very laborious. To avoid the cheese sticking to the foil, grease it and make a pleat in the foil to all it to expand.
Be aware, this is not a classic Italian style lasagna. For example, the onions and tomatoes are cut in overly large pieces, which would not yield the classic texture. Onions when diced not chunked would melt into the sauce giving a more refined true lasagna.
how did you make the Bechamel Sauce I would like to try this for my daughter today? Thank you.:-)
I didn’t instant what ypu use for cheese sauce, how did you make that. I am trying to make this for dinner
Hello, you can buy it canned from grossery store or even do it yourself at home, following our receipe. You’ll find it in the channel.
Looks too yummy. Why am I watching this at 2am??? Gawwwwwwdddd
Lasagna + 5 ingredients? Enuff said. I’ve never clicked on a video so fast HAHAHA looks awesome as always❤️ thank you for doing what you do
That looks fantastic! I’ll be making this for sure. Thank you
This lasagne looks absolutely delicious! Love creamed spinach so it has to be good. I would probably also add mushrooms as well. Definitely will give this a try. Thanks Sarah!
It’s bechamel sauce yes you can get that usually from a grocery store, but you’ll need quite a lot of it so it’s probably more pocket-friendly to make it yourself. We have a simple recipe for it in our channel too, check out the video on How to make Bechamel in our main page:)
I’d put some sauce at the bottom first. Does your lasagna stick to the pan?
I don’t know what are u talking about,,wasting to much time to watch
Bhumika the recipe is so yummy and you have shown the procedure very nicely.
It looks really delicious but I’m thinking that all that nutrient from the spinach is wasted, that’s my concern
It did not work for me with 350 Degrees. If you don’t say anything, then it ought to be in Kelvin. Nothing cooked good in that temperature
Made it today. It’s a fantastic savory recipe. Thank you so much.
The humming isn’t annoying imo, it’s relaxing white noise to me. I’d make this without the zucchini.
Whenever I make Lasagne, Tastes lovely butit becomes bit Soggy & not as firm as Yours turned out…. Why so?????
That looks so dry. I don’t understand how people make lasagna without bechamel sauce.
made it and everyone loved it; thanks for that wonderful recipe
I’m not a vegetarian and I am very excited about this recipe as well. The video is very easy to follow especially for those new to cooking… Thanks!
I’m a vegetarian, and I am so excited about this recipe! Can’t wait to try it!:-) I love your videos, because they get straight to the point and explain everything thoroughly, yet in such a short amount of time! Short, sweet, & to the point. =)
Yes you can certainly use frozen spinach. You’ll want to thaw and drain it well. Since the recipe is calling for fresh spinach that will be boiled, drained and chopped, you could use frozen cut spinach as a shortcut. Let us know how this turns out!
Looks wonderful except for the milk, which I do not use… could I substitute almond milk for this?
yes beyond delicious i could eat 10 kg of vthat hehe… thank you,, blessings
I thought this channel stopped uploading. I cum back and the Dorito’s comments are still here. I’m so proud of you guys.
My mouth was drooling the whole time I was watching. I cannot wait to try this!
Hi zeineb.. Using fresh tomatoes for the sauce, wouldn’t it be sour?
According with your concern I did a quick research online. Adding the calories of each ingredients it came out about 4355 total calories. This recipe serve 6/8 people. It means every serving is about 544 to 725 calories. A man around 75kg need everyday about 2815 calories (calculate on a base of sedentary life style). A woman (same sedentary condition of life) of 60kg about 2100 calories per day.
Hope my research could be helpful.
Definitely needs a review by super taster at the end… Oh wait y’all got rid of the best part of this channel. Better soak the noodles in a Doritos consommé.
5 years later and the doritos consomme jokes are still in full force
Delicious…just subscribe. Hope you can check out my channel and do the same. CHEERS!!! -Deronda:)
I’m thinking about making this for my 2 “sons” who don’t eat meat at all.
I fixed this as I love spinach and have to keep my protein to a minimum. I’ll have mine as is but hubby, I’ll either top with leftover meatsauce I keep in the freezer or add a chicken breast.
You know what became really popular ironically right after you dropped it? Food reviews. Can you super taste the mistake you made?
I really like your recipe but the music had me wondering if I was watching a video on lasagna or a prelude to a funeral. That is strange music for a food video.
Looks so yummy! It’s hard to believe that spinach is 90% water until you cook it! Research has found that sautéed spinach retains a good nutritional value & that squeezing out the excess water isn’t detrimental. You’ll lose some amount of water soluble vitamins like Vitamin C, but the remaining density of the green still retains a healthy vitamin count because it wasn’t boiled away during cooking. It’s a win/win recipe. Thanks so much for sharing!
Genius tip for using the ricer. Would work great for shredded potatoes for latkes. Thanks, Sarah!
*Doing the cheese* “Cheese cheese cheese”
Me: Just throw the bowl on it.
*Whole bowl* “Don’t waste any cheese”
Me: “FINALLY!! Someone understands me xD”
Made this followed your sauce recipe yum yum , I added a layer of roasted butternut squash and sauté onions too, very veggie friendly love it, thanks for posting
This video shows how to layer spinach lasagne, not how to make it.
ahh I remember this channel and its legendary doritos consomme
Looks like someone took a cast iron skillet and smashed you once from the front and once brom the back side of your head.
Like a typical person is able to measure ingredients in grams??? And what is béchamel sauce. Get real!!!
Looks yummy.. But I think it looks too dry.. Maybe don’t squeeze all the spinach liquid out! But I’m gonna try this!!!
Looks delicious. Wanted you to know that the link takes me to a “page not found” error message. No recipe.:(
I am now hungry at 12 in the morning…. Where am I supposed to find food?
No joke i was just looking for a lasagne recipe!!! This is perfect i Love spinach❤️
I would’ve layered the zucchini just like the spinach…it looks delicious!
Yammy…liked to watch your recipe…
Would like to request you to watch my street food videos once on my channel and please give your feedback as you are genius in your work your feedback would be helpful for me
Thank you, your post is really very useful! Hope you enjoyed the receipe!
GREAT THAT YOU USE THE POTATO RICER!! GREAT TIP FOR DRAINING THE SPINACH!! THANK YOU!!
YAY, Congratulations on the 300k subscribers Alyssa, well deserved. This is definitely a must try.
This is so tempting for a vegietarian like me, I hope God is’nt around… sin of sense gratification.
Aunt Rose nobody wanted your nasty lasagna in 1978. Now in 2018, there’s a light & delicious version.
I love coming across channels who value ideals that align SO close to mine. Sending much love your way right now <33
That loud humming in video like in the last one Thomas did, other than that, great recipe!:)
Oh Alyssa you have just made me extremely hungry for pasta this looks delicious yumminess I love fresh ingredients so differently can’t wait to go find these ingredients and make this
I intend to have a go at cooking. Never cooked for the last 25 years and tonight is my first try.
What is the difference between a bechamel and a Mornay sauce?
I love spinach lasagna! Mom use to make it before she passed. Thank you for sharing. now my children can enjoy it too! PS: I love the background music!
It triggers me so hard when people refer to pasta as noodles.
this looks too complicated and too much hassel to bother with, think I’ll use someone elses recipe
no ingredient amounts? why are you fast forwarding the video? you guys have somewhere else to be? what worthless videos…
Have you ever used a layer of white sauce and a layer of red sauce?
This literally had me drooling I want this tonight lol. Just subbed
I love you Sarah, but you guys got to fix your audio. The humming sound is destroying your video presentation.
Great recipe! Good thing you can cook fairly well…no way could you make it on your looks.
The first beep got me good, went to check my smoke detector lol
i make this using bell peppers, carrots (shredded), mushrooms, potatoes, squash, zucchini and/or eggplant = basically almost any veggie i have on hand…but instead of using a frying pan and doing the veggies in multiple small batches, i spray a large sheet pan and oven ‘saute’ the whole lot of EVOO sprayed veggie slices while i’m making my sauce etc. this also helps cus the oven is then preheated for the lasagna at the same time. i also change things up…sometimes using a red sauce instead of a bechamel. I sometimes throw in cooked, shredded chicken or ground beef. this is a very forgiving, and customizable recipe as long as you control the moisture and dont overcook the veggies.
For my ricotta mix I used ricotta, spinach and add parmesan inside as well
This looks good. If only I have that kind of cheese. Brown rice pasta’s are actually really good.
I’m going to try this! Please post ingredients in the comments.
No, if you allow the tomatoes to cook enough and breakdown it will be quite sweet actually. Specially after adding the paprika ans cumin. Thanks for the comments! I love your questions <3
love your videos. beautiful, and motivating. appreciate the healthy, natural, whole fresh foods aspect. thanks so much.
U can do all the sheets at once. Just add a little oil to the water when boiling. It saves time
Half a teaspoon of salt and pepper? People who eyeball their measurements need to learn what a teaspoon worth looks like. That was way more than a half a teaspoon of each!
Boy if only I was’nt so lazy! Or had a wife.. well now I’m hungry = kraft dinner.
Looks like a good basic recipe. I can think of a dozen things to add to this lasagna.
Who found this on the home page and already loves this channel
This was an interesting lasagna recipe that Sarah made in this video.
I really love the videos on this channel, but this humming noise in the background really makes it hard to watch. Is there nothing you guys can do about the sound?
Perfecto!!! I will surely try this. I just have to look for homemade cheese recipe:)
It’d have been easier to at least give the recipe for the sauce (if you won’t show how it’s made). Now if I want to make this I have to hunt down how to make that sauce.
Please, try adding COLD (straight out of the fridge) milk into your hot roux while making bechamel it never lumps up (and I’ve tried), and it’s soooo easy perfect, for everyday cooking:)
I love this ricotta but it costs $9.99 for one tub at Sprouts near me! Just curious if it is that expensive everywhere?? I still buy it because it is sooo good. Cant wait to try this recipe Thanks.
Why does your bechamel sauce look so delicious? It has a nice yellow color to it, it almost looks like reduced cream or butter? I’m going to try this but I need more info on that bechamel sauce.
This recipe was awesome. My channel is not better than you but I love your videos.
That was weird when you turned the burner down the humming stopped!
I am not a very good cook. Got a phone call while I was cooking the onions and accidentally made the bechemel sauce with the onions instead of cooking the spinach with them.
Oh wellit tasted greatalmost just like Stouffers (please don’t take offenseI love Stouffers)
I made sticks out of the zucchini and added carrots as well then roasted in the over for final veggie layer.
It was delish.
This is my go-to summer lasagna! I like to add roasted bell peppers (red, orange, yellow) to offset the green of the spinach….
I don’t understand why you remove the vegetable liquid. It’s the taste and vitamins!!!
