It’s not really a tip as such, but it’s much easier to flip a quesadilla if you just use one tortilla at a time and fold it in half. That way you just use a pair of tongs to grab the edge and flip it over.
Without doubt, one of the best things i’ve made taste vise.
So simple, yet if seasoned well, and offered with soulful salsa sauce, you will find it hard to not eat ten of those. Kudos!
Hey Recipe30, I have a dish you might like. Pound out chicken breast (after halving)..I like to season S/P and either herb de province/or Mexican spices, add thin slice of cheese (of your choice), then I add a pepper, usually the canned chili peppers…or if you have brown’d, skinned a bell pepper, then I place some crab cake mix in the middle (or ham, or a shrimp mix..etc). Roll the chicken, cheese, pepper goodness, dredge in egg and then panko (or my panko/coconut blender mix), tooth pick and bake for15-20 minutes. If the chicken is pounded thin, it should take too long to cook. OR you could add some enchilada/sour cream/salsa to the baking dish. Anyway, I would love to see your take on this:) GB

I love this recipe. I ate so many Quesadillas in college that my doctor told me I didn’t have enough blood in my cheese stream. This is way healthier than putting a half a pound of cheddar in a tortilla and microwaving it. (Which still tastes good though)

Your macros are fucking off on your website it says 10oz of chicken breast for 2 quesadillas and on your macros it says 9 fucking grams of protein for 1 quesadilla? There is no 9 grams of protein in 1 serving of a quesadilla as there is 5oz of chicken in one serving. Also there is already 8 grams of protein that is found inside a 1/4 cup of hummus which is what you spread on this video. Don’t even get me started on the protein that is found in goat cheese and the amount that you used. I don’t trust any of your macro calculations on your website they are all off.

boom! this is how to make a dang quesadilla, very nice!!! add a splash of your favorite beer in with the veggies to deglaze the pan and steam them up a little also works nicely
the mexican way to do this would be wih corn tortilla rather than flour, altough in north mexico is more common flour, also we use queso oaxaca instead wich melts a lot easier and tastes way better than monterrey jack and sharp cheddar (my opinion) also if you use flour tortillas please do not use oil as the result would be too greasy, flourtortillas brown beautifuly without any kind of oil you just hae to use low heat. As for the Vegetarian option a truly mexican quesadilla would be huitlacoche (try saying that 3 times in a row you english speakers XD) wich is a kind of corn fungus wich is delicious. (please dontmistake that with chahuistle wich is another kind of corn fungus and actually spoils it)

I’m making Quessadillas every day now, using either ground pork or those horribly thin, frozen-ass Chinese steaks my wife keeps buying for some treason. I also use cheddar only, because it’s incredibly hard to get good cheese in China when you’re not rich. I fill them in the wok: Tortilla in, layer of ground cheese, add any filling you need, fold shut and press flat with your spatula. Brilliant every time. I really recommend going ham on chillis in the meat because it really adds a lot to this. Hot sauce sours it up somewhat but I use that sometimes for a little extra flavor. Oh, and if you do pork, a little bit of freshly ground nutmeg in there is just the thing.
Now this quesadilla is going to lead me straight to the kitchen, but that music well…..umm umm
But all joking aside the colors of the quesadilla were beautiful.

What a nice video for once things aren’t happening so fast that you can hardly keep up! And the music was a very nice touch, too. I can’t seem to get the flip right without half the veggies falling out. (In addition to chicken, I use chopped tomatoes, chopped zucchini, red onion and broccoli and serve sour cream and salsa on the side. Makes a pretty healthy meal.
Adding sour cream on one side of the inside of the quesadilla before cooking will change your life

I’ve been doing this same recipe for a long time, as well as using other fillings such as Shredded Cheese and Roasted Capsicums, Ricotta and Honey, Spaghetti and Crushed Meatballs, Steak and Salad, Fish and Coleslaw etc. but using Lebanese Bread which you can get in a large or medium size, and using an ordinary frying pan and adding a little oil to crisp it up on both sides. You should give this method a try to experience the difference in texture. However, I do also like your method using the Griddle Pan, so I will surely give it a try just for a change.:)

fun fact! in el salvador a quesadilla is actually a sort of cheesy bread that has a consistency kind of like cornbread. if you ever want to try something new, i would definitely suggest looking into some salvadoran cuisine! Quesadilla Salvadoreña, Chuco, Pupusas, and Tamales Salvadoreños would be super fun to watch! Or maybe sweets like Semita or Horchata Salvadoreño. It could also make for a fun episode about the differences between Mexican cuisine and Salvadoran cuisine of the same name!

I live in riverside(south-east of LA) and we have a local restaurant called reubens and they make the best quesadillas. They make em with Oaxacan cheese with onions and cilantro, meat of choice, all on a thick homemade corn tortilla. Theyre perfect and theyre amazing!

I quesadillas but now I have 2 use rice (gluten free) wrappers not the same.. but it works
your guacamole needs jitomate (red tomatoes), a little cilantro, maybe some Granada(pomegranate) and a teaspoon of vinegar, in the part of Mexico where I live quesadilla it’s just cheese on a folded tortilla and sincronizada is 2 tortillas with fillings and cheese, usually cooked ham and the cheese used is queso asadero
Using a similar marinade on that skirt steak would get you some damn good fajita style beef.

That’s not a Quesadilla!! ( Quesadilla= Queso+tortilla) It is a Quesicarne, quesadilla+carne (meat), sincronizada = Queso+Ham… stop pretending you white people understand Mexican food.

The chicken cheddar ranch quesadilla would be good to dip into a combination of ranch and bbq sauce. Just mix ranch and bbq sauce together and eat the quesadilla with the ranch bbq sauce!! Oh yummy! I want to devour the chicken cheddar ranch, you had me with the cream cheese! And that spinach and feta spanakopita one looks heavenly! I’m salivating right now just thinking about these quesadillas cus they all sound amazing! I’ll have to go to the store for the ingredients now! Lol
