Some people put their fingers around my wrist saying im skinny, it’s getting annoying!
But then the parents get all angry at us for not eating. I just wish they’d stay out of it. I understand they just want to help but we already feel guilty for not wanting to eat, they just make us feel worse for disappointing them and getting them worked up.

This contradicts the keto diet kinda BUT I definitely needed this!! I had super quick easy results when I was eating more. Not bad food but healthy in good amounts. But I keep hearing “you need a calorie deficit” so I dropped to f*cking 500-800 definitely less than 1k calories a day. Stupid. Hasn’t worked at all even with working out! Thank you for this. I will reevaluate my diet.

It started late last year, around september. i remember i had an old friend (we’re not friends anymore) who always talked about eating nothing and eventually began comparing myself and cut down on what i ate by a lot. it start with not eating recess, then not eating lunch, then not eating until about 4:00 or 5:00, when i get home.
even after cutting her off and trying to improve my health mentally and physically, i still struggle. i can’t bring myself to put food in my mouth because the thought of food is nice, but actually eating grosses me out.
i started working out on 14th of january and it’s been a month and i’ve seen results in my strength and mental health!! but after seeing results, i’ve cut down even MORE on my calories, and i talked with my mother about this, and she asked if i had a fear of weight gain and in all honestly, i don’t know. i don’t know if it’s just me being too hard on myself or if it’s more, i truly don’t understand and i’m just so lost..

yes I’ve been through all that as well. just got my front teeth crowned this week. I have so many crowns now and they cost $400+ each ( that’s with insurance) What’s really sad though is that even with all the health problems its SO hard to recover!

Umm you can’t stop us (girls) from wearing these clothes that we like because its out fashion and it’s not our fault that we choose these kinds of clothing. Girls like baggy clothes because its comfortable on us. And for skinny jeans I think the jeans show how skinny your legs are actually are.

That technically is an eating disorder but if you hide the food and don’t eat it afterwards it’s obviously called an eating disorder. They obviously don’t want to eat for a reason or they just can’t eat.
Edit: Also if there weight goes down every week then that’s how you know they are beginning to have an eating disorder. If they keep on gaining then it’s a different story. But if you keep on loosing then staying then loosing then obviously that’s an eating disorder and you need help by dietitians and doctors to give you a meal plan of how each of your meals should look like.

So….. I’m on a very restrictive diet. I’m turning 14 next month. I weigh between 145-150 and I’m 5’5. The first day I started was two days ago. Since then I’ve only eaten, 2 small slimjims, and two bowls of rice, making sure I drink lots of liquids. I’ve eaten probably around 1000 calories not including the milk tea, coffee, and a LOT of water I’ve been drinking. I know it’s wrong, and I used to have bulemia. It started with a water cleanse then I kindof went back to my old habits….. I forgot how much I liked the feeling of being hungry….. It’s weird….. But at the same time I can’t stop. I always skip breakfast, at recess (at school) I have like a small handful of blueberries and for lunch I eat half of my sandwich (rye bread, spinach, tomatoes, butter) and at home I usually am ravenous and can eat a whole pizza, and then I might have like a few other fruits. So basically I starve then binge but I never gain weight, and so I’m underweight (14, 5,4, and roughly between 37-40 kg) but I feel fat like I want to be underweight because my friend just lost a bunch of weight, because she was ‘overweight’ and lost like 15 kg because someone said that she was ‘fat’. She was never overweight but now she looks like too skinny, and so now I want to loose weight. I’m still like a little bit skinnier than her and she’s eating healthy and idk I just feel fat lol

Please realize that this is only one form of how someone can express an eating disorder. I had what you could call a mild form of one and was super sneaky and tactful about it. When you have something like that it’s not hard for the person to map out ways to not make it obvious
This is how i was i always shown my “ed” (or what ever) then i figured out why they always known so i hide food in my mouth and spit it into my cup pretenting to take a sip and many more stuff like this

Dead ass I came here becuase I was scared about being so boney for being so tall. I know I’m skinny and my metabolism is fast as hell but I know I’m not eating the way I should be. OMG SERIOUSLY?! There are so many things wrong with this video 1:If your kid does not want a hot dog or burger bun which is full of empty calories and crap, that is fine and is actually good. 2:Not wanting snacks or desserts is normal. It is rare but some kids actually don’t want sugar. Dessert and snacks are not essential and not eating them does not equal anoerexia. I as a kid never eat dessert unless it’s something sugar free or healthy. I never have buns with my burger and I never eat or almost very rarely eat hotdogs, soda, donuts, processed meat, bagels, store bought bread, white pasta, couscous, ice cream, cake, desserts, crackers, and stuff like that. I do have a burger bun if it is whole wheat though and I do have a hot dog if it is organic. Anorexia symptoms are being over mined.

#4 unable to lose fat in unwanted places

lying all the time
extremely low calorie meals that look like a lot
drinking water and tea to fill up so the pains are less
chewing gum or eating mints
oversized clothes
feeding food to pets
eating everything one day and then nothing for the next 2 days
The list goes on and on but it’s not hard to find better signs that these.
And don’t go using these!!! They’re just things out there.
Wow you make a lot of sense. I would have said you are wrong but uuuuuuh I have reached this point. I’m kinda stuck. I’ve been doing a 1200 calorie diet. Not toooooo restrictive. But I was huge b4 I lost this weight. And now I’m scared. Scared all the time that if I let my guard down I like wake up fat the next day. I was 230 lbs now I’m about 152 and shweeeew. It was easy at first and it still kinda is but I’m lost.

Honestly you make the most sense out of anyone on YouTube. All of what you say happened to me, especially the disproportionate extension of my stomach no matter how little I was eating. After I started eating Whole Foods etc and clean eating not being afraid of carbs I lost 15 pounds lol. It’s such a relief to be able to eat again. I just eat food from home 80% and the rest I wing it! My body was starving and that’s why I was gaining weight no matter what until I stopped restricting and started EATING. Guys she’s the real deal. This is terrible for parents who think they’re child has an eating disorder. This video was so black and white. Most teens who have eating disorders are trying to hide them so they’re not just going be obvious and flat out not eat. There’s a lot of little signs that aren’t mentioned and anorexia isn’t the only eating disorder.
