As far as pricing goes, most specialty brands are more expensive because the clothes will last longer than your typical fast fashion brand. That being said, if you aren’t comfortable spending that much on clothes, there are definitely more affordable reliable options.

So yes, the sweat is a way toxins leave your body. The increased blood flow as well as the extra water intake is more likely the MAIN cause. And just a note, you should really try to get the sweat off your skin asap after a workout. Given that toxins are coming out of your skin, you don’t want to leave them sitting ON the skin for too long, but instead get them off (at least with a toner) as soon as you can.

Something I’ve been considering doing since some of my Lululemon clothing is a little long on my 5’2 frame is taking advantage of their free alterations. They pin the clothing in store for you and you don’t need proof of purchase when you bring anything in. Supposedly it takes 3-7 days for it to be ready but you can even get the tanks made into crop tops! Btw, that lavender color looks amazinggg with your skin tone:)

I’ve found some of the Fila branded workout clothes that I’ve purchased from Kohl’s have been far superior in quality to Lululemon. And the cost is much, much less.
I never had clearer skin than when I ran distance everyday. I 100% agree that sweaty workouts give you better skin, but if that is because my skin is overall healthier (all your organs get healthier when your lifestyle improves) or if my pores release buildup is anyone’s guess.

I totally agree about the sweating and skin!! When my skin acts up I usually try to sit in the sauna or even do cardio harder because I feel like you’re sweating out toxins and and extremities within, plus we’re drinking more water when we sweat so I think it has something to do with it all lol

Some of my lulu lemon leggings are four years old and they don’t look older than a year. The only regrets I’ve had there is buying something I thought was cute.. but later didn’t feel so cute.. i.e. crop tops. I enjoyed the tunes in the background. cheering you on!

These girls are all fun to watch but this video wasn’t very helpful. Lululemon’s tags you are meant to rip out-any fabric with Lycra is going to be see through to a white tag pressed tightly against it, many of gymsharks active wear is much better than what they all tried on, aerie stuff is meh to me. Overall it really isn’t helpful unless they actually work out in the stuff. All colors are going to show sweat whether it’s the pant all over changing color due to sweat or only in certain zones. If you work out a lot you know this and you become comfortable with it. What really matters is how quickly they dry.

Yeah for Lululemon sports bras, SIZE UP SIZE UP SIZE UP. I watched multiple activewear reviews of their sports bras and they said to size up. I checked their size measurements and I still ordered my “proper” size. LITERALLY TOOK ME OVER 5 MINUTES TO GET ON (I got stuck when I had to take it off) size up size up size up. On one of the light support sports bras it literally fit like a high support.

You should check out Asics sneakers! My mom broke her ankle a few years ago and the podiatrist only recommended these shoes because they provide way more support than Nikes and other popular shoe brands. I also wear Asics and they have made running way better for me (as someone who was in a car accident and now has hip and knee problems). I’ve had physical therapists look at my shoes and say they are high quality. I know a lot of people love Nike, but they’re not the most supportive shoe, especially if you’re running which is super hard on the joints. So, if you’re ever in the market to try out a different brand of shoes, I’d highly recommend Asics! Thanks for the video, btw. Your skin looks stunnning in this video!!

Omggggggg I literally asked my friend if that could clear up my skin!!! I worked out a ton and my skin cleared up and I got off track and got really busy and my skin went NUTS! I started working out again at the beginning of January and my skin is doing so much better. Also I’m drinking a ton of water again which is also good for your skin of course ����

Sierra, Nike’s are better for lateral movements (weight lifting). They don’t offer much support and when you’re running you need support so you don’t injure your lower back and knees. If you’re running I’d try Asics, Brooks, or Hokas!

With aerie they have three categories with their leggings. Chill, play, and move. Chill is everyday wear, around the house and out and about, usually made out of cotton. Play is a step up more movable, soft and the most stretch. Not made for alot of movement like working out, but could be useful for yoga and light workouts. Move is the best for workouts bc they are made to stay on the body and not move. they have two type of move one that is more thick that i prefer and one that is more spandex and feels like a second skin. The sports bras also fall into those categories but tbh i would say not as much high quality as the leggings can get!! Also the leggings at aerie can come in short and long lengths!

I don’t know why but I found it so refreshing that Alisha said she wears a medium in clothing because a lot of the other YouTubers I’m subscribed to wear xs or smalls and it can sometimes make me feel inadequate. Like I know that isn’t the goal of them to make me feel that way but sometimes it’s nice to see someone who also has my same body type working so hard on herself. I hope I am conveying this message the right way and not offending anyone.

So you mentioned sweat helping your skin. And you googled it and the results you found were accurate. Sweat is your body’s way of trying to cool down your cells as they overheat in an effort to keep the proteins in your cells from denaturing. And the sweat is a combination of water and the nasty stuff from in your cells. Some of that nasty stuff is actually bad hormones/endorphins/feelings which is also why sweating makes you happier.
But not only exercising makes your skin clearer. You mentioned being healthier and focusing on your mental health. That also helps your skin so much. Honestly. Because some of the things that can clog your pores are those bad hormones/endorphins/feelings I mentioned earlier. So reducing the amount of those that you produce by working on your mental health will also clear your skin.

Sweating definitely improves your skin! I used to live in Finland so I had a sauna in my building and would go 2-3 times a week, my skin was sooo clear. When I moved back home, my skin went back to its previous problematic self lol
