This looks really healthy, cheap as well. Thanks for posting.
What’s the salt please. You’ve missed it in your recipe list. Thanks.
Great Receipe and video. Sorry you aren’t free on the bread but happy you didn’t use oil.:)
Can I replace the red lentils by another kind of lentils? I haven’t seen them in my country (Mexico). Thank you!!!
Amazing! Would this work with coconut flour or gram flour dya think??
Enjoying it spread on potato slices and topped with pickled jalapeno.
This is so good. My favorite so far of all the recipes you’ve posted. Making it for the second time. Thanks for sharing this red lentil hummus Nini Girl.
Yeah. Something other then Chickpea Hummus. Bread looked yummy and the Hummus did too.:)
Thanks for coming by! What other things would you make hummus with?
Just made this. What a fantastic easy recipe and delicious! Thank you. Love your videos. Netherlands.
I will try this hummus out since my toddler saw this and said “MMMM, Mommy make this for me please!” this and the dumpster cobbler is on the agenda this week!:)
Nice and I’m sure it is tasty! Please let’s educate ‘foodies’. You calling this Red Lentil Humus is like saying Chicken Roast Beef and Cabbage??
Hummus that the west knows is really Chickpeas and Tahini (sesame seed paste).
Humus is Arabic for Chickpea. There are humus spreads/dips with chickpeas minus tahini… tahini doesn’t make it ‘humus’.
You have a red lentil with tahini dip or spread. Not a humus.
Also no garlic? Anyway to each his own, but, words matter…lol
Humus = chickpeas no chickpeas no humus
Great recipes! Can you sub anything for the red lentils? Cannot get them where we are.
The fringes on your top were in my way!! Not your way MY WAY! In my head I was trying to move them out of the way Thanks for the recipe looks yum!
Never ever use hot liquids in the nutribullet. It will explode! As it creates too much pressure. Please!
Making this right now! ❤️ Thank you for the easy recipe, I can’t wait!
I just made this and it’s amazing!!! Goodness! I wish I could only print the recipe though! ;(
Oh lord that looks amazing. I cannot wait to try this, thanks guys.
I eat tahini by the spoonful you should try dipping some dates in it or make it as a spread mixed with date syrup ; its so gorgeous
I was afraid when u opened the lid the stuff might explode out, since u blended it when the stuff was so hot. Sending lots of smiles and support.
Awesome I love hummus and have never made it with lentils but certainly will! Also, only ever take big bites! lol
It’s such a great idea, I love lentils so much, but now I’m going to love it even more that’s for sure. I have some split yellow peas at home right now, and I have never cooked anything with it yet, so why not starting with some hummus, right?
Wow very nice & yammy recipe

I have connected
And if you don’t have pita or veggies hummus on apple slices! Seriously! One of my favourites. I was waiting for you to put capers on top, though…
Beauty and Brain with Hummus, what else can you ask for? WoW
It looked so velvety when it was pouring into the bowl. Yum.
Yum! Red lentil hummus! Octavia LOVES hummus… she just eats it for dinner… only hummus ♀️
Thanks for this delicious and easy recipe. I also added 1-2 tablespoons of coriander. Also, because i was feeling too lazy to wait until my red lentils boiles, i used yellow lentil flour instead. Still, the result was amazing.
This recipe is my main protein source. I can eat a kilo of this stuff just in my breakfast alone, I have done that several times too, but nowadays I prefer to control myself and eat two high protein meals that has this hummus and some whole grain bread.
Just wondering if there is a sub for Tahini? I have a food intolerance to it.
YES hummus is my oily downfall because I haven’t really found a homemade recipe I like yet. So I keep going back to the store bought. I can’t wait to try this:D
Thats a lot of calories youre adding with that oil eh…why not just chop the red pepper n add it that way to keep the enzymes intact as heat will destroy them. same with lentils instead of cooking them just soak them overnight that way they keep their nutrients
Another recipe for my to do list. You’re gonna keep me busy until 2020!!!
Ahhh, I love when I have all the ingredients for a recipe already! Thank you for sharing it:)
looks amazing! i have to try this out since i love red lentils. thank you for this recipe:)
looks great!
suggestion… instead of tossing the liquid from cooking any kind of beans, make a rasam… some spices and a little extra water and some veggies makes a killer soup.
wow! never thought of this! sounds and looks really good! gonna have to try it out! NICE xxx
first video in about 2 weeks. oops. please forgive me. (this recipe is delicious enough for you to forgive me).
You only forgot 1 tea spoon of cumin. Then it is perfect and indistinguishable of any other hummus.
I’m watching while eating your Caesar Salad. Another great recipe. Thank you.
This is so good. It’s easy to make I was surprised I had everything I needed, whipped it up and it turned out wonderful.
I love your recipes, guys. They are amazingly creative and inspiring but I often wonder, why do you use so much oil so often?
Hummos literally means chick peas.
This whole recipe doesn’t have chick peas so why call it hummos?
Ah Roz, me ould segoshia! Watch out for dem ‘dangly’ bits of fashion clobber petal, that keep getting in de way of yer cooking! Not a great idea in de kitchen better on the catwalk really. BUT…. yer lookin great.
‘nother or ‘nudder little observation don’t be so ‘hands off’ when yer diving into to choppin them capsicum thingys get in there girl and show where ya came from.
Nice recipe!!! Ah Dublin can be heaven at a quarter past eleven, and a stroll down Stephen’s Green…… AH, THE GREAT NOEL PURCELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m going to try cooking this but I was slightly put off by the fact that this video made me feel like I was witnessing a test tube image of white privelage. Thanks for the recipe though.
This is the first time I’ve ever seen hummus made from 3adas I wouldn’t call it hummus though because hummus is named after its ingredient chickpeas.
