Why do these people always think surgery is the answer. Even with surgery you need to diet and eat well and exercise. At best it physically limits your capacity to eat for a short period but if your habits haven’t changed, your capacity to eat and weight will return to unhealthy levels. But these people just want quick easy fixes to their problems hence why these surgeries have such a low success rate.
There are no “heathy” menu in fast food restaurants, period. And no proper nutrition knowledge in this vdo at all. Thank you, next!

As someone who grew up in the U.S. my whole life I’ve thought that do people really always eat outside? I mean most of the time I’d eat homemade meals my mother made but even when eating out I mostly took water than sugary drinks and it is scary how much sugar there is in those drinks

Real Inflation from 1970 is aprx 16x (6×16=$96). POP increase is about 50% making that about $142 billion inflation and population adjusted.
However there has been deflation in fast food which means the number is closer to $90 billion making this an increase of aprx. 60% increase in consumption comparing ’06 and ’70

The amount I should be eating in a day is 1300 I have to eat two meals a day or less. My first meal is always 110 calories oatmeal. Then a snack or two which equals 200 to 500 calories and dinner which is 300 to 500 calories. That’s because I want to lose some weight like 10 pounds. And gain 3 pounds muscle. So 1000 a day or less. If I eat fast food I won’t finish it, I give one fourth to my dogs.

I do get the point of this video/expriment. However once you take that this is a large adult male who was eating 890-1460kcal per day there isn’t much of anything you can take away from this.
It’s recommended that the typical male dieter still eat at least 1500kcal a day and meet a minimum protein requirement in order to maintain his overall health, muscle mass, and basic wellbeing.
His experience of feeling subjectively terrible throughout the week isn’t very powerful or telling about the quality of the food he was eating in itself since he ubruptly started eating thousands of calories less than he is used to and his average daily calories was a meager 1052kcal

Actually an hamburger is not that unhealthy if you think about it: it is bread and a piece of meat and some salad. The problem is the quantity of bread and how it is made it would be better to eat whole grain bread. And the meat, red meat is very bad and sometimes the burgers are deep fried before being put in the bread. U can eat a sandwich and be healthy eat a one filled with fish/light cheese and a lot of greens with a bun made by yourself or a whole grain one. Stay healthy guys♥️

I’m a little curious if any experts could spare a minute. I notice differences in fat storage across races so I wonder if this is factored into the diagnosis for minorities. Asians are typically genetically slimmer. Hispanics and African American have a genetic disposition to steatopygia, as in having bigger lower bodies (butts). Most studies I’ve been exposed to, don’t account for racial genetic differences on how bodies store fat and where. Does it even count? Just curious.

First of all the guy was fat to start. Secondly….. There is no such thing as “healthy” fast food. Just smarter options if you have to eat it. Obviously it’s still processed and loaded with sodium. He did lose weight. He probably felt like crap because he was losing weight and felt an energy zap. Also some days his calorie deficiency was extreme. Any calorie restriction takes longer than a week to acclimate to. So I’m really not sure what the point of this video was lol. No one is running around saying fast food is healthy. Just that a 6 inch turkey sub from a sub shop is infinitely healthier than a burger and fries. If you want to truly eat healthy, cook your own food, make your own salads with chicken…. fresh boiled chicken, and stop buying processed foods. Most of your groceries should come from the whole foods sections. Meats. Nuts. Fruits. Veggies. And not the planters salted cocktail bins lol. But raw, unsalted nuts they keep by the bananas. Avoid those aisles full of chips, dips, sweets, and candy. I’ve basically narrowed my diet down to chicken, turkey, raw walnuts, cottage cheese, pineapple, peanuts, broccoli, beef jerky, peanut butter, carrots, popcorn, bananas, salads, and bread. I meal prep for work. If I have to grab food on the go I go to a sandwich shop, or may get a grilled chicken sandwich. Nothing from a can, or a bag is healthy. This should not be news to anyone in 2020 lol. Even the supposed healthy options are looooaaaded with sodium. Anything processed is loaded with sodium.. That’s part of the preservation process. Don’t buy taco Bell fresca chicken tacos made with pre cooked chicken in a bag lol. Make your own. This shouldn’t be rocket science with the amount of information in our pockets at all times. Fresh foods good. Processed foods bad.
So what, if you eat those things just twice a month you will not get fat and neither will you harm your health!!!

It takes roughly 3500 calories to burn a pound of fat. There is no way you lost almost a pound a day (unless your muscles literally ate themselves) by going from a 2500 calorie diet to a 1000-1500 calorie diet. You were clearly eating much more than 2500 daily, probably around 3.5k. This is just misinformation at this point, and get people who know more than 10 seconds of Google to advise you people on nutrition, because You’re misinforming people who look to this video for information and can pose a detriment to their health

I’m tired of people having negative views of carbs. All that carbs are is energy, so you need them to stay alive! The misconception that carbs just automatically make you fat is not true. The only way that they can is if you consume an access amount of them and do not burn them off. I.e exercise. This is why athletes consume large amounts of carbs before competition. Such as runners eating pasta the night before a race.

Many people who write against fast food are probably being anti-American more than they are health logic. It is possible to kill one self consuming anything to excess regardless to how specifically friendly to a culture or natural it is I suppose and to consume small amounts of calorific junk food and live well if you are still keeping reasonably fit. Still it has many artificial additives (which on average is worse) although the calories are an issue actually if not in many cases the main problem because it is easy to count up at least a good several hundred from some of those meals very quickly. It plays a factor as of what you order from one of those places and whether you eat prime meals in them several times a day and fail to diversify from them if you consume occasionally you are in an OK category especially if you are eating fruits and vegetables enough otherwise which I do not always do myself although try to have a minimally adequate amount of them. Hamburgers may be better and safer to order than cheeseburgers and normally I would order hamburgers instead if I went to one of those places although cheeseburgers have more in them when one is hungry, as there is sometimes not much in some burgers. Still if you have a bacon cheeseburger along with a sugary soda or with some and a significant amount of other people the issues are milkshakes on meals which are very calorific (though probably have some nutritional value in their basic ingredients). One can count up including that on a meal in the thousand calorie range zones, yet alone hundreds. The food is also not very good in the sense that it is processed and does not have much fiber and large amounts of sodium, you can taste it even in the food. Mind you french fries are made of potatoes anyway and still likely actually have fibrous material in them. They are fried and much of that stuff is although restaurants in general are more similar than many of us imagine regardless to what. Chinese restaurants for instance sell lots of fried foods and lots of that stuff like falafel (supposedly healthy) is high in carbs and fried.
Crikey, does nobody realise that this guy is a genius? He’s using reverse psychology to tell people that you should be eating healthily. The message is: “Eat these massive, unhealthy foods at your own risk, we hope your scared off enough to eat healthily because of the potential consequences”

This is the absolute dumbest video ive ever seen. The truth is that the dishes he is eating throughout this video do contain better ingredients, making them healthier. The problem, and the reason why he didnt lose any weight is because, while he’s eating healthy food, calroies do still matter. In this video, he seems to be trying to disclaim the value of eating healthier options, as choosing them instead of their junk food counterparts will provide no net benefit when trying to lose weight. Calories are still a massive factor.
Take their burger they sell, and put it on lettuce instead of a bun, get rid of the fries, and then drink it with water of diet coke and enjoy. Most of the sugar is gone and most of the heart attack is gone. Just don’t eat there every day.
