What is the name of the website that shows you the nutritional facts??
I am 5’6″ too and that’s why Derek’s roadmap probably fits me the best. Derek is 147lbs, this means my target weight from now is 147lbs
Honestly you make it too meta which defeats the purpose of the game:/
Glad I bumped into your channel. Looking forward to being a permanent viewer.
How r u ment yo figure out how many calories y burn in a day
5’6″ is really not that short. Don’t let anybody tell you otherwise! People in North America are so obsessed with height. You are shredded and have a beautiful girlfriend. Most people who make fun are either just jealous and insecure. Keep up the great videos! You are very inspiring. ☺
Just saw the protein powder has gelatinised maca powder. This isn’t bound with gelatine is it?
I am YET to relearn how to cook foods that are healthy for me. Even though, I am a type 2 diabetic and need to watch my sugar intake etc.. Thank you for your wonderful way of bringing wholesome foods to eat etc..
Must admit, I laughed a few times at some things you said and actually just bought a 1 lb bag of this stuff on Amazon before the video ended lol. Can’t wait to try it!
I’m transitioning to a plant-based diet, but currently still have dairy fairly regularly. But I’m planning to raise my kids as vegans. I have a 2.5 year old, who has never had meat but has dairy sometimes, and one on the way. Do you have any recommendations on nutrition for my kids?
I just discovered you! Thank you for the great information. I always struggle with a response when people ask me why I dont eat oil. This helps!
I’m not trying to hate but if a couple minutes on the trampoline is a heavy-duty workout I’ve got questions and why is it that vegans spend their entire day it seems preparing food and worrying about food and thinking about food just so they can get the proper protein or other stuff a vegan diet Lacks…. and that guy’s body even though he has muscle is clearly lacking you can see it from the hair loss to the improper muscle development…
I’m really not trying to be mean but all these problems can be solved with a wonderful 12 oz ribeye cooked medium rare sizzling with delicious juices and brain growing fat vital for life.

Well you be making breads? I saw the sourdough and starter. But I want more!!
eat well live healthy… I had 209/121 BP reading, after a month of vegetarian diet and supplements… I’m at 131/91, HalleluYah!!!
My vegan sister in law turned me on to this wonderful food and it fits perfectly into my ketogenic life. Thanks for the tips, you’re awesome.
why are your stacks so large and the processing time so short?
Are you using mods and if yes which ones
Hey vegan looks like a good diet. I am really inspired by you, but doing some research I found out the vegan diet you can get mouth rotting and enamel and toothh decay. And gum disease. Do you get checked every 6 months by a dentist? And see how your teeth is? I would like to know how your teeth are doing? I been watching A lot of youtube videos about the cons of vegan and mostly is cavities you can get from being a vegan. Please do tell me. And hope to hear some honest opinions and truth about being a vegan. Some pros and cons..
I want to know the secret. Do you have to take Supplements? I think most vegans try to avoid it and than they end up having mouth rotting and didnt achieve Calcium in there diet and damanged there teeth and enamal. Tell us the behind the scenes? Do you have good and bad days? Please and thank you. Would like to know the struggles and accomplishments.
Your videos are very helpful and really enjoying the food. Thank you
Do you even lift bro? uummmm yea I do… have you seen the size of that Burrito!!
Hey! DEREK loved your transformation after being vegan… really Appreciate it…i wish i could put muscles like you after being vegan….
Bought the cookbook, but can’t print it out?? What am I missing here?
I’m just wondering what use there is to cooking besides nanites. As of right now it seems to only be a passive way to make nanites, unless there is a way to consume the foods, which give you bonuses while exploring or doing missions or something.
Love your vids!
Suggest sitting down eating so many ppl are eating standing up. I’m sure you do when you’re not making vids. Our young ppl have been watching commercials of ppl eating and walking. Thank you again!!!
I have been really thinking about what kind of recipes I could do as a plant based eater…. Then I came across this chanel and dam mind blown…. This is amazing and have been watching for about an hour
Better Health NOW: https://www.worldslastchance.com/view-video/18/your-health.html
I’ve had several instances where I got 40 nanites from the galactic Gordon Ramsay just from offering steamed vegetables…
I choked this shit down the other evening. No gag reflex or vomiting at all; I’m serious. Not too bad for a bunch of fucking vegetables.
This video helped me a lot. I’ve been using Cronometr for a while now and I was little bit struggling with having too much of some of the minerals or vitamins, but now I feel better and know again more info how to put food together so its all good complete. Thanks!!
Where is the recipy for the houmous please? I can’t see it. Thx. X
Hey! We love all of your videos, when are you coming to Australia for a no meat and greet
Yum, I’m going to add to my roasted veggies… I may be obsessed for a while
You can also buy minced garlic in a bottle. Lasts forever if you keep it in the fridge.
I am confused https://youtu.be/H4JzgDhCwfc under this video every body is telling vegan food make their teeth rotten, and make them sick, and when they come back to animal food they feel good now,
But for me i am vegetarian but eats diary products like milk etc, and i am fine too from 27 years no health issue, can anybody tell the truth, they are telling to cut the carbs and they even cured their injuries
Me and my boyfriend have been vegan for 1 month so far and we defiantly have a lot of learning to do but are extremely excited for this lifestyle change! Your videos have been a great reference we return to very often for tips and recipes! He’s a bodybuilder as well, so he really appreciates your channel! Keep up the good work!:)
What website do you use to calculate the nutrients in your food
Love your video always. Thank you for sharing. Keep up the good work. God blessed you and Crystal always.
I just wanna say thank u for your content i been following u sing day 1 and i also turn to your videos after a long day at the gym or work! You might not have 3 million views but all your views are definitely appreciated and digested with genuine intrest keep on brother we love u out here in philly i put all my jail homies on to your videos!! Lol these big guys always say white boy got that work lol!
Hello I am new to your channel so sorry for asking this question. What Nutrient calculator are you using in this video?
Heck ya. I love burritos .
Thanks again Derek,
I can’t get enough of your videos.
Anyone catch the name of the website he was using…? I looked up what I thought I heard but got no results
I heard vegan diet can change someone’s eye color or make it lighter, and it is proven OMG i just watched your other video about Best recovery smoothie that you uploaded 3 years ago.. So cool!
PROVE YOUR WORTH!!!!! Show a video geting DIPLO CHUNKS, A GIANT EGG AND FIENDISH ROE???? Cuz i cant find em bloody anywhere XXX
I hope you never get tattoos cause they are ugly and everyone ends up regretting them!!!
Thank you for your positive attitude and helpful information. I appreciate that you don’t try to hide behind the “Plant-Based-Diet” obfuscation. I find people who use that term unconvincing and untrustworthy. You, on the other hand, are up-front about your veganism and your videos are about what you do and the results. Straightforward and appealing. And they are about the right length. Keep it up.
Looking forward to what you will be sharing this year. I hope it doesn’t rain too much during Daniel’s Spring and Summer breaks and Lee’s days off so hopefully we can finish getting our new property ready to move to and hopefully move there before he enters the 6th grade. He’s still on his extended Christmas break right now. He doesn’t return until the 6th due to out of calendar and professional learning days which means no students. I love his current school but it’s his last year there since it only covers 3rd to 5th grade. He’s in the 5th grade now. His class is small as there are only 4 other boys in his class so he gets all the individual attention he requires. Hopefully the next is just as nice.
Hey, i love your vids and state of mind. One of your videos shows an awesome park near the gym and the beach..which city are you living in? I’ve been to a lot of places on vancouver island but it seems like i missed that..
Sexy but no butter irl works in jelly. No fat at all for jelly. lol I like it
did you use soy milk or almond milk when you did the smoothie?
Mam Mary happy New year, thank very much for all am still a new learner l still have to learn more before starting to prepare.
Oh Mary I am so sincerely happy for you that you were featured in the magazine, you deserve it <3
Never seen someone leave the stems on. I always thought just not to eat them. Def gonna try that out!!
Hey boss! I’m newly subbed to your channel, and for the most part I’m a pescatarian, with the occasional fully plant-based day. I’ve adopted a few of your recipes such as your post-workout smoothie, buckwheat, etc… But what I seem to be struggling with is the calories vs protein intake… Despite tracking my macros and eating mindfully, I seem to reach a 2700-3000 calorie mark rather quickly while my protein intake is peaking at around 140g. I’m aiming for about 0.8g per lb of bodyweight (I’m 6’2 and currently at 208lbs, looking to cut down to something like 190…)
If you have any recommendations at all, or even links to other videos I should give a watch, I would be eternally grateful!
I see you don’t eat processed food but do you object to tofu as a healthy protein?
Running out of nooch? Here’s a link to get some more! >> https://amzn.to/3bnnKI2
I love how you explain why you are including each ingredient, it’s really helpful to plant based newbies keen to learn.
The B-12 in Nutritional Yeast is put in if it says fortified it is added it does not form naturally, So what your getting is a synthetic form Vitamin B-12. Just look for Nutritional Yeast that isn’t fortified. Do your research! Its ok to use for a short period of time.
“The pellets are good for them to go dookie” hahahahahahahah
So I’ve gone down a few of the comments yet I find no one asking the most obvious question (to me having stopped the video at 0:15 seconds. What kind of beer you drinkin”?
@Xaine’s World
“Meaty Chunks” is another item in the meat group.:)
All these foods seem to have some effect/buff when they are consumed. The problem, however, is that eating the food doesn’t show you the buff it gives unless you need it at the time. (ie food that restores your shields will only say it’s done so if your shields were not fully charged. Same with life support and hazard protection recharging buffs.)
So I just spent the last 3 days in game gathering all the ingredients I needed, and making every. single. recipe… >.<...only to find that there's no way to know what all these foods do without some pretty time-consuming research. Very few of the effects are listed in the nms wiki. If anyone knows of a link where someone has listed the effects, please let me know and I'll be eternally grateful!!! ♥
It’s also worth noting that the Space Anomaly’s “Gordon Ramsay” doesn’t give a damn what you feed him. I gave him the same dish 3 times in a row, and he gave me what seemed to be random amounts of nanites for each, and had a different reaction to each of them as well. I could have saved a lot of time and just made about 100 of any one thing. Making everything was a huge waste of time.:(
I think you may find my cooking for the food critic video interesting and relevant to this video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1wCh-c9Tx6A
Thanks for your work on these videos, I think they’re great
I think it would b cool if they gave a cooking specialist terminal u could put at ur base
I am looking for a video on making hummus and I cannot find one. Do you have one. I like your oil free recipes.
My kind of girl, beer from a jar,and popcorn, good down to earth information, thanks
Information on something that can help digestion problems as I’m frightened to eat sometimes I eat small but as dr.said my digestive system is rubbish and proberly dont have pancreas enzymes. But wen I tried eating cauliflower rice with spices and coconut oil I seemed to have no pain that’s why I’m going to get started with the milk kefir.thank you so much for your help and kindness to others
Happy New Year my dear friend! So excited to see what you have in store for us in 2020!:-) Maria
Taking a page from LoZ Breath of the Wild. Raw gourmet meat, mushrooms, melons, mighty bananas, bird legs, crabs, critters.
You gotta sit in a giant smoothie bowl my dude, with giant berries and granola. Millions of views.
This man deserves more subscribers. You sir are my main source for guides.
I saw Dr. Fuhrman at conferences in 2003, 2004 and 2005. It is now (nearly) 2019 and Dr. Fuhrman has barely aged.
i was looking at some of your older stuff (2017) and noticed mention of a farmers’ market directory, but couldn’t find it. Is there some kind of alternative now, or is it no longer a thing? Love your content btw
How do you obtain mordite now?? I kill so many creatures and only get meats.. No mordite, so I can’t even set up a farm for it? Am I missing something?
Cooking is really the fastest way of getting nanites. It takes a while to submit food to Cronus, but still less time than completing missions or farming Abandoned Buildings.
Love this!! How many grams of oats do you normally eat to feel satisfied but not too full and ready for lunch?
It doesn’t help that you have to “Tease out Honey” of creatures
In the latest versions cooking is indeed a way to make some pretty good buck especially if you don’t have mineral extractor farms set up.
Thank you for the guide, although I liked the idea originally I’ve come to realize it’s practically useless, and the two new collection machines are pretty much useless as well, unless you’ve settled down on a wonderfully diverse planet. I’m going to just open up all cooking recipes and leave it at that, there’s not much point in it.
Hey Xaine, now that the last update added some buffs to eating food, will you do I guide that maps out what food gives what buff?
Not having set up any livestock for cream, I found the most efficient final product was Delicious Vegetable Stew. I’m on a toxic world, so fungal mold is plentiful, and can be variously combined in various ways to make all the DVS constituents (non-toxic mushrooms, Steamed Vegetables, Fibrous Stew, and Flavoursome Sauce). So it was pretty easy to get a stack of 50… but the sticking point is feeding it, portion by ever so slow portion, to Iteration: Cronus, just to get 20 to 40 nanites per pop. This was excruciatingly boring. Presently, it seems to me the most use to be gotten out of a nutrient processor is extra storage.
Many many thanks for this. Watching the video I can appreciate the effort that went into producing the video and the list. I have a much better understanding of the list after watching the video.
I believe one improvement to the list might be to identify foods and baits that are also ingredients (making it easier to find them in the list) I played around with this using a combination of VLOOKUP and conditional formatting within Excel spreadsheets. I will not publish, as the data is all your work, so your should get the credit for that.
Totally agree that that the products produced need to be more useful in game. Nanites are great, but there are already easier ways to obtain them either by exploring/scanning or using the refiners (and the nanites received as a reward, far more predictable).
For the present I will carry on farming plants and storing ingredients within the Nutrient Processor. There is not, as yet, sufficient incentive for me to bother with farming animals, but there is definitely room for future expansion and I hope the Hello Games devs are a least considering buffs if not actually working on the code yet.
Thanks for the vid! Seems the food is just for roleplaying purposes so far, but I may still dabble a bit
Ya buffs would be the only thing that would make cooking worth it. Thought about giving out Salty Custard to noobs in the Nexus so they can get nanites but the process doesn’t sound like fun and I don’t think the noobs would know what to do with the salty custard, or even larval cores which would be even more boring to farm. I could craft stasis devices and fusion ignitors all day but what’s the point when units are so easy to come by. Guess I’ll just wander around looking for cool base spots.
So basically, cooking food is useless for money making, it’s useless for boosting stats… but if you want to get your Moral down you can cook for the Gordon Ramsay of No Man’s Sky that sits in the anomaly and that’s it….
Its crazy they made it so difficult there should only be like 20 recipes max or somthing like ark survival evolved where there is like 6 or 9 lol alot easier lol. They dont give you enough storage for all this crap not even close plus its not worth the effort even when you tame somthing it still just runs away I think they should do somthing like ark survival evoled easy animals tamed are actually tamed nit just run away anyway or disapear later lol whats the point
I wish that you didn’t only need to fuel your life support system with oxygen but with organic matter also, even if it’s just carbon I think my big boy still wants to eat something and all the recipes will make him run faster or slower.
Love when you said they eat the pellets to go dookie! Those animals really drop big loads of Dookie!!!
I still can’t get some recipes to work. Larval cores can’t be used in the nutrient processor, for instance. It’s pretty annoying.
do not have more than a teaspoon,,it can cause flushing of the skin,,and make your skin itchy, very healthy,,but use a very small quantity
You should have started this guide with “cooking is pointless”
Even the best use is a pitiful amount of nanites for the work required. They put a lot of work into developing this for no payout at all.
That theory is sound Xaine regarding a reward system like energy boost or speed or cold resistance. Makes sense to me otherwise there are better alternatives to getting units and nanites. if that’s the case, i’d rather spend time learning how to build bases.
Cooking seems to be in its early days, with very little reason to do it. Skyrim and Fallout 4 had the same problem, until modders fixed Bethesda’s lack of vision.
Skyrim… modded with REALISTIC NEEDS AND DISEASES mod, to give your character a need to Eat, Drink and Sleep. Food got a reason, without it, you slowly get stat debuffs, then eventually die.
Fallout 4… SURVIVAL MODE, a Bethesda added upgrade to Survival Mode. Eat, Drink, Sleep. Animals give more realistic damage, adding a fear to all confrontations. But you also deal a lot more damage as well. No more Demi-God players, shrugging off a tiny scratch off a behemoth of a monster.
My ideas for giving cooking a reason to exist…
1. New mode… Survival Plus.
Eat.. you need to eat to live, you gain larger and larger debuffs until you die.
Drink… same as eating.
Sleep… single-player, click on a bed to sleep, and have a passage of time. Multi-player, just click on a bed. With this, you’d need a portable, and safe camp and bed each 24 hours. Flying when tired, can lead to you crashing your ship, with a repair needed. So no zipping up to your Freighter for a quick sleep.
Cold and Hot… foods can counteract it, but Hello Games needs to add an early game cooker, like Arks Campfire. Hot and Cold foods giving a substantial boost to living in extreme environments.
Spoilage… you don’t want people stock piling food, that is boring. Spoilage is needed, to keep the games hunting for food a thing.
Raw food… chance to drop health to 50%, sate appetite slightly, but its a gamble.
Damage… you deal lots of damage, animals deal lots of damage. Bigger animals deal more damage, getting 3 hit killed is now a thing. Shields only stop weapon damage, a monster with its teeth around you neck, is still a death sentence. Every encounter is terrifying, but the animals and carnivorous plants need to have their ridiculous reach shortened.
Shields… only good for weapons fire.
New items…
Cook book… gives all recipes.
Camp bed… deploy-able bed, but nearby animals and weather still a thing.
Camp Tent… safe spot for to sleep, and get out of the toxic environment.
New feature…
Auto cooking, with lists of ingredients and missing ingredients.
Food has a set of ratings…
Warmth rating *
Cold rating **
Rad defence *
Value 3 Units
Debuffs 1 hour of ( add debuff )
Eg…
Doughnut
Warmth rating –
Cold rating –
Rad defence *
Value 6 Units
Buff Gives 15 minute Sugar rush, adding a 10% increase in speed. As well as a boost to help fight fatigue.
Stew
Warmth rating ***
Cold rating –
Rad defence **
Value 12 Units
Buff Gives 30 minutes of heat defence, as the warmth of the Stew staves off the ravages of the cold.
Tiered Cooking…
Camp fire…. Tier 1…. lowest tier, just charring and cooking base items.
Grill… Tier 2… Charring, Cooking, adding herbs.
Cooker… Tier 3… 2 Cooking ingredients, needs to be in a Base.
Advanced Cooker… Tier 4… Can make everything, with cooking recipes added to machine, for easier food preparation. ( expensive to make ).
Just some of my hopes for a filled out, fully featured use for cooked food. At present, its hit and miss about what foods do, and how to make them.
Dear Mary, I have enjoyed sp much your show. I would like to know if you have an old recipe for spoon bread. I had one years ago where I would put the meal, etc in the oven and then I would pour boiling water into the mix and then cook it. maybe you can help me with this and thank you and please, keep sharing with us. I love it. which cook book should I buy so I can set up my pantry as you would. thank you once again and always, give god the glory. Marianna sims marianna31064@ gmail.com
So does cooking for Chronos seem like the best way to bank nanites? I suppose it depends on whether setting up and tuning the infrastructure is more interesting to you, or you would rather do missions.
I’ve been a big big fan of Heidi’s from over at “Rain Country “ for well over a year now (she’s amazing!) I’ve heard her mention your channel a few times. Just watched my first video of yours today…and I loved it! I immediately hit the subscribe button. . I started a recipe binder a couple of months ago after watching a Jordan Page video where she mentioned having one. I’m telling you! That was an epiphany moment! My pancake recipe is in one book, ice cream recipe in a pamphlet that came with the machine, banana bread recipe in another book, pizza crust recipe from the internet etc. not to mention all the book marks and zillions of screen shots on my phone. I have a ton of recipes in a recipe box as well but Its hard to find what I need because it’s in alphabetical order and not by category. DUUUUUUH! Why not put them all in one place?! Its taking me quite a little while to compile everything (I’ve BARELY scratched the surface!) but Im enjoying the process immensely and have come across many recipes Ive forgotten all about. Can’t wait to hear about your kitchen journal! Now excuse me while I go binge watch your videos.
Even though it seems like it’s not worth much, after over 600 hours of play time, I’m incredibly happy that they added cooking and that this list exists.
Don’t forget that you can store items in the food processor, and that they stay stored when you pick it up. Basically, you have 25 food storage slots for 1. It’s good for when you want to go gathering non-farmable ingredients. Great video!
Does anyone have the same issue with not being able to use mordite in the nutrient processor?
So this may be a silly question but what is the point of cooking? Yes you can make A LOT of things but do you get buffs from food? Do you get health back when you eat? I’m just confused what the point is
**Edit**
I really should wait till the end to comment seeing that Xaine talks about this at the end of the video. So you can get a bunch of Nanite Clusters and thats really it. I’m kind of sad there isn’t more to the food.
Nutritional yeast is not really common here, I even thought it’s a brewer’s yeast. Anyway, after watching your video, this is something I’m going to introduce into my diet, that’s for sure. Thanks for sharing! By the way, I always thought it was a jar of your favorite tea showing in the videos, but it’s Saturday eve, beer just makes sense!
Hey Derek,
On my macronutrient calculator it says I need 171 g of protein but yours says 56g. Im probably about 15kg heavier than you, do you have any idea why this is? Love your vids by the way, they are really helpful, thank you.
It just doesn’t look that good. I couldn’t do it for long….but I can try.
Yep just creatine and quality protein got these results lol. I started watching early uploads and then now. Thanks for the content.
love your channel, made your banana muffins and sauces… so good!! love from Israel
3 ways to use nutritional yeast! Are you a fan? What’s your favourite thing to sprinkle it on?
Honestly, I’m disappointed with the cooking thing. Seems it’s a lot of effort and not a lot of reward. I already have 1.4 BILLION credits, 34, 000 nanites and 27,000 quicksilver. Not much reason for me to cook much. Yes, Beyond is incredible, but not much for seasoned players at this point. I’ve finished all of the missions in NMS as well as created many different types of bases. My fleet is ALL S-class, etc. I’ve done it ALL. Not much in Beyond for me, to be honest. I’m just….meh…..on this whole update, which is sad because I WAS SO LOOKING FORWARD TO IT!!!! New players are richly rewarded, but veteran players didn’t get much. I don’t want to abandon NMS, but seriously…….what’s left for vets like me? Starting over? I did that 3 times now and I’m not interested in that. And when, in God’s name, will we be able to (visually) modify and sell off space ships?!
It is a shame that this game is becoming a grind. A game turn off for me
was getting 10 50 nanites per mystery meat stew will test more with other stuff
Hum, sounds fun, but not too profitable compared to other ways to get nanites.
This tutorial is outstanding.
I just have one problem, I don’t know if it is some bug or what, but when I kill the hypnotic horror eye I cannot pick it up. It just roll down and disappear after some time.
There are also those green samples which are obtained from that huge fish that starts chasing you when you steal those things?
Such a complex system with so many ingredients and recipes, you’d think the rewards would be a bit better. Perhaps they have plans to make it more worthwhile. Also, we’re going to need even more storage for the hundreds of ingredients. Thanks for all your hard work on digging through the game files.
Where is the website that you use for the nutrition breakdown it is it an app? Please.
I’m so thankful for your channel I have the book you talk about but I struggled to understand some of it.. ok a lot of it. Now it’s like oh yeah Mary taught me about this. I can do it! My water bath canner arrived today and my dehydrator comes tomorrow! I will be quite busy catching up! I am so blessed to have found you!

So healthy and delicious as usual! Which peanut butter do u useit’s so creamy?!
Made chickpea spaghetti with gardein meatballs and pasta sauce with teriyaki veggie stir fry. DROWNED THAT SHIT IN NUTRITIONAL YEAST and was just amazing, tasted cheesy and gave it an extra creaminess that it didn’t have before without changing the dish too much
Cooking is the most pointless thing in the game, and so it is creature riding because.
I literally came on here to say I love your thumbnails. So colorful & pretty
So what is the point of cooking in the game?
I havn’t been playing the game in a long time, but it looked like that dougnut just was worth 800 credit? So why bother?
Holy crap that’s a lot of information, am allset with all of that, aint nobody got time for all that hot cooking. I just want to explore with my friends and shoot things. I also enjoy resourceful management but the electricity and cooking got me overwhelmed. Make quality of life simply and give us more opportunity to interact and fight with NPC and other players.
Mix some nutritional yeast with whipping cream and salt for a delicious sauce! You can also add other spices to your liking.
I am a J Fuhrman kind of custom shopper/creative cook. So can you!
Thanks for a great video without a bunch of advertisements & begging for subscribers!
The fact that we can’t farm these new food plants is really bullshit.
I love nutrition yeast and will just eat it out of the package with a spoon.
Wait back up you can make bread out of an animal’s shit and shards of glass? Dam no better way to tell someone you hate them.
Hi Mary, First, I want to wish you and your Family a Wonderful and Happy New Year. I am going to tell you my experience making this Wonderful beef bone broth: I have been making beef bone broth twice a week for four months as a medicine for my broken toe and my ankle. The collagen of the beef bone broth has helped me tremendously. Every time I go to the doctor the toe looks better and better and it’s healing. My skin feels wonderful and soft. I think I have master your beef bone broth because it’s very gelatin that I made a video on my cell phone which I will add it later. I want to Thank you for sharing your recipe. I also made a turkey broth, however I prefer the beef bone much better. I put the broth into 6 to 7 jar with all the fat, then I wait 6 to 7 hours than it’s easier to separate the fat from the broth. Now, I have this beautiful broth gelatin waiting for me to heat up, so I can drink it. Gladys
yeah for nutritional yeast. been using it for more than 20 years on everything. great video
Hey bro. Where and how did you start to learn cooking vegan meals?
I wonder. Did these people who lost the weight, did they quit drinking alcohol? Any alcohol is a very toxic and acidic substance.
I put it on my eggs. I’m doing Keto right nnow Note:: When using it NY put it on after cooking the food. Heating it will kill the vitamins in it.
I guess I could give nutritional yeast a try in between my ice cream and my chocolate syrup. Slowly work my way up to popcorn.
You should try doing a jalapeno popper recipe video. Maybe a little ghost pepper sauce mixed into the sour cream.
I love you and your sweet spirit as well as your videos. You have taught me so much!! Thank you BLESSINGS FOR 2020
I agree with your point about: why don’t our baked goods give the player’s any kind of significant bonus? For now, it’s just a fun thing to explore and do. But I would support Hello Games giving health bonuses for certain cooked items. For now, I just give them out randomly to players in the Nexus.
I thank you from the u.k the only problem I have is I didn’t discover you earlier and I only have internet on my mobile I’m not computer knowledgeable. But for what I have watched and able to save some I havnt been able as you have to download.im dialectic and 69 and sorry if some words are not ok.the other problem cant seem to get the wonderful things your able to as this is the U.K were so behind.but I love watching you I wish you had your own television series. I used to watch the pioneer woman although a great cook there is not the information and everything is cheese and meat base perfect for ppl who want this but I like traditional and I love your preserved fermented products and am trying this.thank you for giving me the contact to get kefir milk granules I havnt done so yet as been I’ll.but I’m determined to follow you as much as possible I believe I will be able to cut out diabetes tablets etc once I get into the good food u make.also we all need good bacteria in our gut so all the best to you thank you for just being so nice xxx
This year is going to be a great year! Thank you Mary. Hope you had a wonderful holiday season.
For those of you asking about my super awesome earrings, I got them here: https://www.caitwind.com/🙂
Awesome Videos. Very helpful. I am new to the vegan thing.. lol What site are you using for the nutritional calculator?
I would like you to do a video on Thomas DeLauer’s video bashing game changers video.
LMFAO…I love the way you talk… “Popcorn is the gateway drug to nutritional yeast”. Thanks for the hot tip on this product. I have been eating healthier and have lost many pounds, I am going to make that dressing and put it on my salads. Also gonna try drinking my Moosehead Beer outta a little mason jar.
Am loving these videos!! Not only is the cooking demo fantastic, but love seeing the success stories. I especially loved this one, what a huge change. My goodness, I don’t know why everyone isn’t eating this way!! Once you try it, you just start to feel great and love it:)
Going to use all 3 ways +++. Awesome video. Resonates. Thanks!
They need to develop this feature further with Cronus only ever giving his time to full batches of 50 at a time. Imagine me trying to plow through a hauler full of food stacks of 50, 1 portion at a time… Also Mordite can be farmed and turned into meat.
Thank you for being so healthy and balanced in your approach! It can be hard to find plant-based advocates who aren’t afraid of carbs or fat. You’re such a good role model!
Spot on guide Xaine Eating should at least give you a jet pack boost similar or equal to the boost from the Deuterium rich plants.
Thanks so much for this video. I struggle to find different plant based breakfast meals for my toddler. He will eat brown rice farina but has never liked oatmeal. This morning I made him your oatmeal recipe and he loved it. He ate the entire bowl. I will definitely be making this more often.:)
That hallogen oven looks so freaking cool! Your meals always look glorious ❤️
Hey! Dont you have like digestion issues for mixing fruits with veggies and leafy greens?
Cooking appears to be something to do just for the sake of doing it as it stands now because I see very little benefit in spending all time gathering the mats. A better way to get nanites is with the refiner using geodesite and irredesite, which can be crafted from inexpensive mats purchasable from traders at space stations, in the refiner to get platinum and put that in the refiner.
I try the rice sourdough but is bad so l want to start it again
Ive been subscribed & watched your vids for awhile now but can’t remember if you ever did fruitarian, wether all sweet fruits or both sweet & non-sweet fruitarian? Do you feel your best eating starch based rather than fruit based? What are your pros and cons of each?
Personally i was starched based most my life and gradually shifted to fruit and feel best on fruits. But I’ve had a hard time mentally letting go of 35 cal Silk cashew milk & artificial sweetened items (chewing gum & Walden farms products) because I’d really be upping my calories using raw nut milks & date syrup daily. I eat enough calories already and don’t need to gain a pound. Yet I wonder if those processed vegan health items are enough to keep your health in a lower state than it could be if eating more calories which may or may not lead to more fat on your body? I know toxins in foods can make your body hold water weight to protect itself etc… am I & the question making sense? Could more calories while eliminating the extremely low cal processed versions of it cause weight gain?
Rewards from Cronus must have been updated as my rewards for a low-level recipe is between 40 to 120 nanites……Processed Meat plus Processed Meat results in Mystery Meat Stew and that’s it.

Love the idea about a kitchen journal. Just love your videos, you are amazing. Thanks for all you do.
Certainly not healthy killing all the vitamins with cooking, so misleading
Thanks for the visual information! I’m trying to switch to a vegan lifestyle to lose weight and remove inflammation and toxins from my body. These you are true mental jewels you have shown me! Thanks again and great content!
bro, b12 doesnt come from animal products… it comes from bacteria. everyone should be adding b12 to their diet
I’m not vegan and I’ve always loved nutritional yeast and never knew it was a vegan substitute for cheese until about a year ago and I’m 28 lol it’s just like the best thing on the planet. It’s been a favorite of mine since ive been alive. I don’t remember being introduced to it. Its Just so amazing!
So looking forward, to this New Year, and new videos. Thank you so much, for all your hard work.
New subscriber here and I’m already hooked on your channel!!! Thanks for making cooking look fun (I need all the motivation I can get! LOL).
Thanks for making the content man! Your comment on view content has really got me fired to take control and not care about the views I was afraid of not getting. Your content has really spiced up over the years, I’m on the path to making content just have to make the time for myself to make sure it’s what I’m ready to share. You’re such a great human and I thank you for always being authentic! ❤️
I’ve been putting recipes in a binder for a few years now! I call it my recipe binder. Since I’ve started Atkins and trying to eat better foods, I’ve started over with it. I look forward to your recipes.
Thanks, Mary! I’m a New subscriber. I actually found you from the US Wellness meats website. I have a hard time finding affordable meat that is healthy (I live in CT). I purchased the Nourishing Traditions book several years ago and have made bone broth but I’m a bit intimidated by all of the information. I appreciate having someone like you to encourage us on this journey of healthy eating. I think it would be interesting if you did a video on meal prepping with Traditional ingredients (kind of like those what I eat in a day videos).
Mary, thank you for your lovely videos! Would you please give a tour of your kitchen? please include hints on storage. Love your cutting boards! Do you leave them on the counters? Thanks again.
Hi Mary! I have only recently found your channel on YouTube. Thank you for sharing all these wonderful recipes and traditions with us. In the past couple of weeks, I have made saurkraut, kombucha and your strawberry vinegar recipe.I am looking forward to watching more of your videos. I appreciate the detailed instructions. Also, I find your voice to be very soothing and relaxing ☺️
The unit & nanite amounts that the food items go for has changed dramatically since this video, offering much better amounts. Any chance that Xaine or anyone else has the new numbers in a database somewhere & would like to share?
exciting! Im really look forward to your kitchen journal flip through!
I found your channel 2 days ago. I havent been able to stop watching your videos. Absolutely love your recipes and creations.
So they added a whole bunch of new items and stuff to the game whose main purpose is…..kinda pointless?
Lovely, outlook always something new to learn here and there, yup, even the old homecooks learn new things:) Great place to learn here!
Blessed 2020, dear Mary! may you hatch many new eggs in your nest this year:)
Yea food perks are boring and also Sean lied and said we can sit in chairs…you can sit in 5% of “some chairs”…cmon, this is so easy to do.
Congratulations on all your accomplishments. I haven’t gone to your website but certainly will now. I usually search through all the videos but I really want to print some of your recipes. Thanks for all you do.
Hey I watched your extract videos and finally got everything to make them but now my question is I can not get anything higher than 76 alcohol can I use that
This will be great Mary! I can only speak for me..I’m a half and half cook. I hate processed foods but use alot pi f pre packaged things…like tortillas…quick cakes for larger get togethers. So this will help me hold myself accountable better. Hugs to you blessings
I am not an advocate of Dr. Fuhrman’s way of eating; I believe we were meant to eat as carnivores (meaning not SAD, but animal foods with no crap). I was vegan, then Macro years ago and saw what it did to people long term. However, I am a foodie and have always loved to eat everything, and this looks absolutely delicious, as do his other dishes. And I like him more much more than the other vegan gurus-he doesn’t bombard you with negatives and and deceptive propaganda like McDougall, Greger, and Barnard. His message and recommendations are always positive.
Sourdough hot cross buns with honey orange glaze doesn’t have written recipe in your website
Hi Mary, amen to making the transition from processed foods to home-cooked nutrient dense meals a do-able and realistic one. Overwhelm can all too easily steal our enthusiasm; you are right-on when you encourage folks to take it slow and master one technique at a time. I’m looking forward to learning more from you in the coming year. You are a beautiful and knowledgeable teacher! Congrats on the twin honors of being named US Wellness Meat’s featured chef and for being featured in by AAA!!! Thanks for everything! XOXOX Michele
Hey Derek, thanks for all the great videos. The one thing I battle with is using tomato or bell peppers. They belong to the night shade family and my Naturopathic Physician told me to becareful with them since they can supposedly cause issues with inflamation. What is your thought? Have a good one.
Yay for how to create a kitchen journal! I’m trying to be better about writing things down
A lot of great information and updates Mary. Hoping you had a Happy New Year and a prosperous 2020!
God bless,
Rob
Hello mary, have been following you from Spain for the past year and have learnt so very much. Love your way of teaching, do you have any food tips for people with ulcerative colitis. Many thanks
YAY I DONE IT..ONE STEP AT A TIME…FIRST LIVE MEAL..DELISIOUS..THANK YOU N
Hey simnett, I am eating very healthy and I am 173 cm tall, I wake up at 7.30 AM and start eating all my meals between 6 PM and 10 PM, and go to bed at like 11 PM, so I to bed with all of ky fuel refilled. Going to bed very full, digesting good in the morning but still waking up with and hungry stomach sounds… How is this possible, do you know a answrr?
Hey, does anyone know where the Iron comes from in the burrito?
Hi Mary, I recently found your channel, and I Love it!!! You can really tell when someone is a legitimately kind and caring person, and you are! I look forward to trying many of your recipes. I love to cook and I’m getting my shopping list ready!
Mary, my mother and I have really enjoyed all of your videos! The fact
that you inform us about the nutritional benefits of each and every
ingredient is very enriching. Love from India!

Mary, so much good news and great plans for 2020. And to be featured in both those sites…so cool. I love it and you are showing me what Ai need to do. Thank you for being such a good guide. My question is why do we need to use sprouted flour?
What happened to the “uncooked veggies are better for you” theory?
More importantly it is about satiety that the vegan food fails to provide. Eat fatty meat, eggs, fish and whole milk to see the difference.
Yeeaaayyyy! I’m all for this! I’m 70 and still not a good cook! I’m glad your gonna help me check this off my bucket list. Thanks
You forgot to mention that this was raised as food by the ancient egiptions.
Sounds good. It could be a good idea to include it as a sample in the orders.
There are a few products that now I use thanks to the samples I get with my orders
Sometimes it works and we continue buying it
Thanks for the info.
I’m so looking forward to following along thru this next year. Yes mam you know I love Nourishing Traditions too. You have now inspired me to do a kitchen journal. And CONGRATULATIONS for the recognition!! Well deserved! Thank you for all you do sweet friend. You are the best! God’s blessings to you❤️❤️❤️
I’m looking forward to this, I so struggle trying to put it all together. Thanks Mary.
what website are you using for the macros micros and vitamins etc ?
Would you do a grocery haul please♡♡♡ I would like to see how you prepare for your week:) Thank you!!! I LOVE your channel!!!!
Something I would be interested in is snacks. Nutrition rich, sweet and/or savory, meal in my hand since I’m on the go a lot. I don’t always have time to set down and eat a full meal and I wind up eating things that aren’t that healthy. Still, if it’s not tasty, I probably won’t eat it.
My game doesn’t recognise mordite as a bait ingredient. Help!
Wonderful Mary! Looking forward to learning a lot from you this year❤️ Kathie
I can’t wait for the Appalachian and mountain recipes. Still waiting to try the salt bread!
You have been a big influence on me last year. I did shop at US Wellness, bought the flour sack towels, and made bone broth last year. Looking forward to the videos you are going to make. PS Don’t forget us keto people.:)
Can’t wait to see where you’ll take us this year. I’m still working on the basics but it will be really enlightening to see how you incorporate the foods into meals. You are so sweet and welcoming and so much fun to watch. Couldn’t help wondering how long it will be before we see Mary’s Nest on the Food Channel. They are in sore need of a Traditional Foods Show! I do love our YouTube family though. ❤️
Always enjoy your videos and am looking forward to what you’ve got in store for us in 2020 and beyond.
Happy New Decade. Keep’em coming!
Love the video!! By the way you should try eating sweet potato with a bit peanut butter… it’s so good
Congratulations on your well-earned accolades, Mary! I am looking forward to learning as much as I can.
I’m new to your channel. I love to cook. I have since childhood but coming from a southern African American home I’m used to eating differently. I have learned a few new things from your channel and I find your voice incredibly soothing. Have a wonderful year!
Thank you so much for this wonderful channel. I am getting back into home cooking and recently made some wonderful bone broth with my store bought rotisserie chicken. Then for the new year I cooked some black eyed peas and sausage using the broth instead of store bought. Wow! what a difference that made. Am also starting to experiment with bread. My first loaf (rye, Paul Hollywood makes it look so easy) became a door stop! LOL I will NOT give up. I also have my coffee extract sitting in the back of my pantry. Look forward to trying some others.
Hi Mary, love your videos, and how pleasant you are presenting them,
Hi Mary. First off I LOVE your channel and I’ve learned so much from you. I love cooking healthy so this is one of my favorite channels to watch. Secondly, If you can add the recipe for fermented cucumbers on your web page I would appreciate it. Right now my goal is to try to buy the equipment I need to make traditional food that you show…like fermented cabbage, fermented salsa, and bone broths. I realize I don’t have the items you use, but will work on it despite my limited income. I look forward to being with you another year for traditional food. You’re like my personal grandma….I have others watching your channel and learning how to cook traditional foods. Thanks Mary….love and God bless you!!
Sorry I missed your video Mary! This video is very exciting! Thank you for all the information!
Any advice to take it while travelling, surely there will be no room to stop and cock, so any advice on instantly have a small tea spoon of it with water, meant the nutritional yeast made at home, outta water and flour
Mary… You are among the best at what you do on YouTube as well as what you do on a our website! Really!!
Do you have a video how to make beef or chicken bullion? I would like to get away from store bought chemical ones
What is the app your are using for nutriments and food journal?
We love you Mary, can’t wait to see what you will have this year!
New to eating vegan for weight loss. Love the video and I’ll definitely watch more of your videos.
I love the idea of the kitchen journal! I just love your videos. You’re so sweet…God Bless!
Is the nutritional yeast the same as the (natural) yeast used to make sour dough bread, but in a dried form????????????
Dumb azz. Yeast is not a plant. It is living organisms, live creatures that eat and breathe. Anyone using yeast IS NOT a vegan. https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/watch-yeast-live-breathe/
Oh my gosh, these recipes look amazing. I am going to buy the book today. Thanks!!!
Can’t wait to try these! Do you have a recipe for the kale chips and parmesan?
Chili Cheese Popcorn Topping: 2 TBSP Nutritional yeast, 1/2 tsp smoked paprika, 1/2 tsp chili powder, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, 1/4 tsp onion powder, 1/4 tsp cumin. Blend all.
Hey Mary! If you have a pretzel bread recipe you like, would love to see a video of that!
Hello…..2020……here we go!! Could you show us sometime how to make a vegetable broth in the Instant Pot?
Thanks for your work on this my friend. Your video was very well done and easy to follow. Have you experienced any strange glitches since the new update? I had the harvester robot set up and powered and two feeders and they kept disappearing. Along with 6 atmosphere harvesters.
I’m on XBOX 1 though. Maybe it’s a lack of cpu power.
I think that’s fortified if it has B12. But it’s still good for you.
I’ve been using nutritional yeast on my popcorn since I was a little kid.
I tried the second recipe and it was finger licking good!!! It surprisingly tastes like cheese. I ate it with pasta and I believe it would be so yummy with some tortilla chips or potato chips
I’m the only one who doesn’t like this stuff I’m trying because I already bought some lol
it does not have B12 in it B12 is added to Nutritional Yeast
This saved my cooking life as a vegan mother. My son loved it on his porridge.
Hi Nicole, first time viewing your channel. I just opened my first jar of Nutrional Yeast and OMG, I love it. Used it over my spaghetti sauce and steamed Brocolli, yummy.
Can’t wait to try it on my popcorn tomorrow. Thanks so much for the 5 ways to use nutritional yeast.
I love it so much I just sprinkle it all over my salad…it’s like adding nuts and cheese!
love your content. my question is where are we to store all these food items, as seeing all the cooking units share the same storage unit.?
Whole Foods sells it as a powder which is cool cuz it goes on popcorn easier!
Nutritional yeast does NOT have B12 unless it is added during processing (fortified). It is rich in other B vitamins, but not B12. If you want nutritional yeast as a source of B12, you need to check the label.
Fun fact: the B12 found in animal products is there because the animals were fed B12 supplements.
do you have a recipe for the salad dressing? i have this cool mixing jar and would like to try that out!
I usually make a chickpea “chicken” salad and sprinkle it on top! Gives it a great nutty/cheesy flavor. So yummy!
I have had it in a cheesy recipe and it’s good. Love the idea of putting it on popcorn!
Happy New Year Mary! Wonderful information! Congratulations on all your accolades Mary! Such a beautiful personality!
I use it to make my own “Yumm” sauce. Use Sabra original hummus as a base and add a quarter cup of nutritional yeast, 2 tbsp lemon and lime juice, 1 tsp apple cider vinegar, 1 tsp garlic and onion powder, for the chipotle version just add a kick of Tabasco chipotle, the only Tabasco product I adore, the other two (the bright red and green ones) just don’t compare.
Oh, I want to set the intention to find five Traditional Dinners that my family will actually enjoy.
I gave you a like and subscribe just because of drinking beer from a jar on a Saturday night. You might be my soul sister. haha Enjoyed the video. Cheers.
A lot of these nutrient-rich diets obviously are good for you but you have to still have calories people that are losing or trying to lose weight and you eat a bunch of vegetables all day obviously all that fiber all those nutrients that you’re not used to getting into your body are going to make a difference for you and weight is going to come off but if you’re a slender person and you need some calories to maintain weight eating a bunch of vegetables all day you’re going to be miserable you have to have calories in some of those people that are slender and have high cholesterol can’t just be eating a bunch of nuts and seeds to get calories all day so it’s very difficult at times to be able to get the calories and still eat healthy foods and you find yourself in that situation if you’re slender and just trying to eat healthy to get calories you’re eating like every 2 hours and sometimes that’s just not practical so I’ve been doing a vegetarian type lifestyle since 2015 and I’m a slender guy and I’ve really struggle to maintain weight because I have to eat so much and I’m not used to eating so much food so just something to keep in mind not saying that eating this type of food is it healthy it is but you can’t say well I’ma replace this with that and you go from having something that’s 800 calories to something that’s 80 calories and expect to feel fulfilled and a lot of people make it frustrated and just go back to eating with their eating so sometimes it’s not as easy as people think.
I finally went to the post office and wanted to thank you for the lovely Christmas card you sent us. Thanks so much Mary. I truly appreciate your kindness and support all through our own journey here, even before you started your own channel. You have been a true blessing in so many ways and I love that you are able to teach so much amazing stuff to so many people.
How wonderful you had those recipes shared on that website and the interview and in the magazine too. You are becoming so famous! People know good stuff when they see it! <3
Now that’s a lot of chopping, too much work for a meal that doesn’t look that good or filling! ugh
Such a beautiful smile. I love how you say HI SWEET FRIENDS. I love how you speak. So kind.I was really impressed that you took the time to respond to my comments. I am looking forward to seeing you other videos.
Does anyone know where to get Diplo Chunks? I’ve killed dozens of Diplos on 4 different planets and they only give Meaty Chunks?
I like the cooking system but the rewards are terrible. Switch the rewards to an amount of quicksilver and I bet you would have more chefs.
I can’t put Mordite in the nutrient processor. Any suggestions? PS4, 2.07.
Does anyone know why the swiss chard is blanched? Thanks in advance
Great video D! Get some mango in your smoothie and you’ll be good with vitamin E!
Amazing work. I spent ages randomly combine things with limited successes. This is much more scientific. I must say the rewards are super underwhelming. Ultimately I’m really not sure what the point of cooking is
I’m turned on…..and I’m a heterosexual male!……good job Doc
Where do you live. I want a primary doctor that knows or is holistic to get me off thyroid med put on when 260 lbs. My weight when eating as told went down to 145 lb in 11 months my diabetes wen ta way in 2 months or so. I am 66 yr. Old gained weight last yrs eating fried and pizza and meat chicken turkey not organic at holidays. Need to lose in middle waist is 38 inches. I began in January to buy again fresh organic vegetables if I can find them. No car to go to health stores. Can one taking.88 thyroid eating vegan after 3 months or so be off.? No cholesterol problem or blood pressure Should I take a organic multivitimin mineral supperment. Or wait till May when Doctor gives me result of blood work he will check B 12 and Magnesium I continue to get a night leg cramps I drink 8 glasses of water he say that is why I not sure really find it hard to believe him he just gives med.
Youd have to eat the WHOLE thing in order to fill satiated. These foods are TOO low in calories.
Great transformation! You both look amazing! Congratulations!
I love a man who know his way around the kitchen making healthy food.
It’s all about taste I did something similar for 6 months and lost 6 stone but you never lose that desire for the “good stuff” and like an alcoholic once you slip you’re on the rocky road. I put 3 stone back on and it’s been 3 years now a feature massively repeated statistically among those who have lost weight.
You simply must enjoy your food and if vegetables don’t do it for you then sticking at it forever, which is the aim, won’t happen. Humans are too clever to live in permanent denial we always find a way around restriction and you can’t replicate the taste of sweets, chips, hot dogs, bread, booze etc with salads.
Because the “good stuff” is readily available 24/7 veggies need to be an enjoyable part of your diet NOW, then it’s just a case of increasing the amount at the expense of other foods something much easier to do. If not you’re deluding yourself.
Yeah, I know this is about health but I can’t get over the color of that shirt. It is awesome!
How about a recipe with less than a dozen items. Most of us would need 2 giant refrigerators and a warehouse just to store all this stuff!
So what’s the easiest recepie to get 40 nanites from the NPC at nexus?
Just bought some nutritional yeast yesterday and had no idea what to do with it, so the timing of your upload is perfect. Thanks very much for this!
I just bought the cookbook yesterday and can’t wait to start cooking from it. I need help to add flavor to my vegetables to replace the butter, oil and salt. All 4 dishes on this video look scrumptious!
