Yes hand sanitiser wipes is brilliant:O! omg I love the perrier water! we don’t have the strawberry here:( but I really love the apple one! in the cheaper shops (bargain shops) you can get a bottle (500ml) about 50p if you’re lucky! I find it so crazy how different the packaging looks of all of the foods, very colourful! That peanut butter is so cheap! I really enjoyed seeing you go to the store:)! xx

I like Walmart’s rotisserie chicken ♀️ throw that thing in with some chicken broth and you got you a quick meal
Yeah but when none of the other options are within a 120 mile round trip, you don’t have much choice.
these chicken are very tasteless. I guess they are fed so much and grow much in size and after being dressed and coked there is not much taste left. I never liked them. just tasteless.
If everyone started buying from Sam’s club then they will have to sell small chickens to meet the demand.
I have no idea what those ingredients mean so I’m still going to eat chicken from Costco! Hehehe
in ocaccionly I will normally get it from shop Rite, they say that big y is even better, stop & Shop is good but more expensive.
I have done my comparison too and found walmart rotisserie chicken taste better.
You need to “Factor” in distance to nearest store, how many people to feed and how much fuel to cook.Good vid’s keep them coming.
can we all agree to thumb down the hell out of this video for being… a waste of our time.
Oh yes,Sam’s are so large.Wal-mart,Safeway, king Soopers are so small
I hope you’re not talking about that greasy caveman Sam Lasco.
Wal-Mart chicken is Very Good Never had a Bad tasting Chicken I thought they was talking about contamination of Sort…who cares About the Sodium Content…But I will say my GF and I went to Sam club and brought a. Rotisserie chicken and it had a piece of Hair in it…yes it was in my GF chicken so she asked me to check mines I went All up and down my chicken to make sure there was NO HAIR IN MY BIRD..so we went back to Sam’s Club and she got her money back and left that Nasty Ass hair in that Bird….I tell you one thing there was Never A Piece of hair in my Chicken When I purchased chicken from Wal-Mart…
I just watched this again cause it’s so funny… AND full of the hard truth. I needed that, sir!
I get my chickens from Fries.
But this gave me some great future ideas!
Somebody got fired at Walmart and they’re trying to get revenge shame on you same same telling lies
Umm literally the sauces and herb blends you buy yourself to season the chicken can have all those things……
I’ve had them at Kroger, Walmart, Costco and Sam’s Club. They have been spoiled at all 4. So I stopped buying them. Sometimes the meat is just like mush.
It is not what it is look like,it is filled with over 60 percent water not real chicken, dead body of a bird full of water, not real chicken, making sick to people, just try once chicken with water pumped in it.
This video would be perfect if the frame was a bit better! Very good job man!

Costco’s 5 Dollar Rotisserie Chicken lists the ingredient carrageenan…
More Trouble for Organic Products…Carrageenan, a food additive
…Research suggests carrageenan is highly inflammatory, triggering an immune reaction that may cause inflammation in your gastrointestinal system and may be carcinogenic
In December 2016, the National Organic Standards Board (NOSB), the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) expert advisory board, voted to remove carrageenan from the organic ingredients list
In April 2018, the USDA overruled NOSB’s advice and reapproved carrageenan for organic foods. Yet, as noted by Mark A. Kastel, senior farm policy analyst at the Cornucopia Institute, the decision flies in the face of the very reason NOSB was created. “This is the latest instance of the … administration siding with powerful agribusiness interests.
They are running roughshod over the will of Congress that established the NOSB as a buffer to insulate organic regulations from corrupt corporate lobbyists.”3 Also noteworthy, the USDA not only ignored NOSB’s vote but also made their decision with no opportunity for public comment. It’s only the second time in nearly 30 years that the USDA has gone against NOSB’s advice on whether or not to remove an ingredient from the organic list. The other time, which also occurred recently, involved conventionally produced dairy whey protein concentrate. Charlotte Vallaeys, senior policy analyst with advocacy group Consumers Union, told Food Business News that the move could have serious repercussions to the organic label. So would you drive 2 + hours for a chicken from Costco One way?
another news segment done by some of the skinniest people who believe everyone should be like them.
yea idgaf. I swear idk what they put in them chickens to make em good, but they beat every “best” chicken fast food places claim to have.
At Costco or Sam’s Club you pay an annual fee. So unless you can save that fee each year for an individual’s grocery preferences, then there’s no sense in it. In general, very few people have shopping preferences that translate to significant savings at a place like Costco, so to save there they would have to change brands.
Also, the Walmart chickens are currently only $4.50, and Walmarts are usually more conveniently located. If you have to spend a gallon of gas to drive to your nearest Costco or Sam’s Club, then shopping there probably never makes sense.
Personally, I just buy the chickens for my dogs occasionally. Originally, I started buying them for my dogs when they would reduce the price in half late at night, but then they quit doing that for some reason. I assume stupid health department regulations are the reason, the same reason Little Caesar’s had to start time stamping their pizzas and discarding some of them, even though I would gladly pay less for the chicken that has been sitting for a while, or avoid the wait for a pizza that is already in the warmer.
Whoa, one of my stress releases is eating one, yea one, in the parking lot.
“A chicken in every cart!” should be Costco’s moto since they, unlike Herbert Hoover, can keep their promises. You can’t get a whole fresh chicken for less and you can ever make roast chicken soup out of it if you get tired of just roast chicken. I get one every time I’m there. YUM.
Idk know what going on with y’all rotisserie chicken but down here in alabama its good and fresh and juicy and got plenty of meat what y’all walmart got going on
“Will Betterly”, So, you are just playing dumb troll games to try to help Frank for whatever reason that you may want to. What it really cannot be about though, is what actually is right and true, involved in this. You demonstrate that you are foolish and dim witted with very poor sense and very poor judgement to believe Frank. If you do. You probably do not actually believe him, most likely. Just dumb troll games, most likely. What I present about this is honest, correct, truthful, sensible, and clear and convincing. It is insignificant that the manner in which I present it, is in a way of expressing myself in a very intentional and deliberate way, while asserting the important things clearly, correctly, and convincingly. If you think anyone “wins” anything based solely on shallow and superficial and insignificant aspects of style and manner in which they speak, then you are foolishly without adequate sense and reasoning and judgement. If you apply that same idea to Frank, then he still wins nothing but the right recognition of himself being a dumb, disturbed, deranged, delusional, malicious psycho nutcase of a liar. What I present are clearly and convincingly, sensible truthful correct assertions of significance. People with good enough understanding and right sense and right judgement (like adults) can and do know that is true. Online trolls who just want to be contrary, for the fun of it, like dumbass wiseass punks who do not matter, will comment any silly nonsense garbage, just for “the lulz”, like that “wins” something for you. Online punk trolls like you do not matter, and what you say does not matter. You acting dumb, “wins” that you can be recognized as such. What I articulate and assert about this, honestly, is easily able to be understood and known as being clearly and convincingly correct. Online punks acting dumb for the fun of it, does not change that, one bit. From Lawrence Connor.
I was interested in what the guy had to say, but then she said he went on “doctor” oz, which killed 110% of his credibility.
My favorite place Publix… I really need to research the Keto diet… Tfs
New flash, Costco chicken is actually chicken,,,, brined….
I usually buy my chicken from Smart & Final. They are large, good price and taste so much better than others that I have tried ( & I have tried just about all )
Heard anything about them?
Idk know what going on with y’all rotisserie chicken but down here in alabama its good and fresh and juicy and got plenty of meat what y’all walmart got going on
This is still better than fried chicken. Come on, this is as healthy as a chicken can get….
I used to make chickens at cosco… they used the same used rubber oven gloves to grab chickens that were soo fucking grose! I would bet they still do this… i wouls never buy
At my WalMart they are raw inside. They used to be better, but lately I have to cook them between one and two hours to get the meat to fall off the bone.
Here, we buy a whole chicken roast for $3 whole in ordinary, $4.50 on delis.
I gave up on Walmart’s rotisserie chickens a long time ago too greasy overcooked doesn’t even taste that great
Sam’s Club is a whopping long way from where I live. I will stick to Wal-Marts thank you very much. I get as many as they have and give most to my dogs. My ferrets love it too.
I dont care what’s the ingredients i only focus on eating it whent its gowd
I dont buy anything in walmart….sheeple shop there…not me
I bought one and when I carved it the blood ran out. Rather than drive a distance to return it, I will never buy any from them again and I pass my experience along to other people.
If you’re a rotisserie chicken lover, please don’t take this video serious, it’s obviously a click bait piece. Go to walmart and buy the Marketside rotisserie brand, not the walmart brand, there’s a difference, you’re very welcome
What a load of bull! If your only complain is the size of the bird, then you’re looking at other factors, Walmart rotisserie chicken is lemon pepper flavored, the other ones are not
choks to go here in the Philippines cost 4.27USD, it can be use for birthdays or any celebration.
We need cheeper chicken among more expensive fast food too where its all expensive fast food like downtown pleasant hill.
Just bought a chicken from Wal-Mart Fri. It was really good to me and my husband. As a matter of fact we still have some leftover. So I don’t know how big it needs to be.
I haven’t tried Sam’s but I find Costco’s rotisserie chicken to have a horrible, strong, poultry smell and taste.
Costco has a anual fee $40 a year
Yum salty….I get mine with extra antibiotics! In case they droppedit on the floor
Irie mon. We be havin the best chicken in Jamaica mon. I can garantee it.
I buy fresh chicken and roast it myself and use just a sprinkle of salt. I don’t know why retailers are trying to kill off their customers with all that salt. It’s not like the load of salt is to preserve freshness since we’re going to eat the chicken within hours anyway. Cut the salt..
What? You are saying Costco “Seasond” their chicken Blasphemy! You should watch Gordan Ramsy (butter) cook some eggs or a burger sometime.
Watching you do this shopping trip let me know I am making the right choices at the store. This looks almost identical to what we buy. You also gave me a few ideas as well. Thank you for sharing as always!
It’s hard work to make these things and people always bitching the cooks and waiting to get the new ones when the ones in the counter are already fresh! People are so stupid and spoiled just grab those chickens they aren’t old you idiots!!!
Last time I got a WM chicken it gave me the squirts for a week. I’ll stick to my local Kroger’s or Riesbecks stores. I pay more but have never gotten food poisoning from them
This video is as stupid as a leftist. There are waaaaay more walmarts than Sam’s and Costcos. Many people only have access to walmart chickens. And I get them occasionally. There’s nothing wrong with walmarts birds. Thumbs down.
Well I at least learned the chicken is pre-brined and the inclusion of yeast extract makes me think perhaps I should include Vegemite in some sort of marinade.
Haha! Anti Costco rotisserie chicken lobby. OMG! After show drives car to Burger King for a Whopper, Coke & fries. Then goes home & smokes a joint & drinks a few beers. Then heads to club with his guy friends to scope scenery. Snort a few lines of coke & recreate. A few cigs & he’s amped to keep going. Don’t drink the bottled or tap water. Coffee is bad for you as is tea, Pepsi, Starbucks & Snapple. Fish has too much mercury. Pork the OTHER white meat is abuse to animals & too fatty. The air we breathe is contaminated. Sodium nitrates & nitrites will kill you. Cigarettes are cancer sticks as are cigars, pipes & chew. So the options are?
MSG and sodium triphosphate a.k.a SALT… Yeast extract? For God sakes it’s just yeast without the cell walls. Natural flavorings is very vague granted. But it is natural or else they couldn’t say it. So Just shut the hell up and enjoy the chicken
Idc about wizard of oz or what ever tf his name is I like rotisserie chicken
I never buy prepared foods from Wal-Mart. Nor do I buy any kind of fish since the Fukishima disaster that is STILL dumping 600 pounds of nuclear waste into the Pacific. That is why so many Whales & Dolphins have beached, birds have died and the massive fish kills on the world’s beaches/shorelines. All from being poisoned. Nuclear metals & materials should NEVER have been used for producing energy. That invention is killing people, worldwide. Just wait till the power goes out, and all those millions of fools that live within a 100 miles of Nuclear Reactors/Nuclear Plants, will die from massive radiation exposure. Those living within 200 miles will die in months. It takes electricity to cool the radioactive “rods”. And with the power out, there will be massive meltdowns, worldwide.
This is all bullshit! Those “processed” ingredients keep the chicken from going bad. I’m GLAD they were added. The food journalist said to look at the ingredient list and only buy food with ingredients you understand again bullshit! They’re there to keep food from spoiling. If those ingredients weren’t added a lot of food would have to get thrown away. Those ingredients get processed by our bodies and end up in our poop and pee. So many people blow things way out of proportion! I came here to see how I can duplicate their rotisserie chicken at home. Obviously, I don’t need to add those ingredients, but when I’m in a time crunch and can’t make my own chicken, it’s good to know I can pick one up at Costco!
This reporter is not very well informed or might have other reasons to bash wallmart. Because wallmart actualy has one of the best meat department.
what a rip off, in Canada they cost $7-9.99 even in 2013 when the Canadian dollar was more than that of the US and considering MANY COSTCO CHICKENS COME FROM CANADA
WALMART SUCKS IN EVERY WAY…TGEY ARE NOT THE CHEAPEST EITHER!!!!
The last time I had rotisserie chicken from Publix, it was 8 years ago, that chicken tasted like medicine. Since then, I only buy rotisserie chicken from Whole Foods. Health is always ahead of value.
Msg and natural flavoring isn’t unhealthy, the hell you talking bout
MSG, MSG & MSG at its bessssssssssssssssssst!
Better than buying those overpriced McDonald chicken mini meat.
I’ll have to keep my eyes out for those coffees, those sound yummy. I have never been in a Publix. I will say there was a typo in the title and I giggled…because I’m 12… lol. I have heard of LILYS… I can’t find them here. My hubby loves the Le Croix coconut. Yessss cream cheese and celery! You had a fantastic haul!
Those chickens are 7.99 in Canada. They are undercooked everywhere, Canada and US, and should be put in the oven at 350 Degrees for at least another 40 minutes, to insure its cooked all the way through.
I’m more concerned with the plastic containers they sit in for hours on a hot surface…..
They certainly have the size of each chicken down to an art form, I wonder how many antibiotics and hormones they pumped into the chicken’s diet to achieve that.
I work at a Sam’s club in the rotisserie chicken department of the store and can attest that after trying Walmart & Costco chickens, I would definitely rank the Costco chicken on par with Sam’s chicken for taste & value vs the dwarf Walmart one Lol…. In case y’all were wondering Sam’s uses both quality name brand chicken & seasonings.
Just to sell your food, you don’t have to bad mouthed another one’s cooking. I thought Walmart’s chicken is making people sick.
I just uploaded my first ever Vlog! It’s about Money and Happiness could you let me know what you think?:)
not all stores cook same way, therefore not all taste same, I’ve bought chicken at Walmart and its good in Idaho Falls .
The chickens shown in the Dr Oz clip, and the closeup of the ingredients list, are NOT Costco chickens. This video is very misleading.
sounds like someone just wanted to get on dr oz…. How do you know how healthy i thought the chicken was? COSTCO actually losing money on this item.
Every time I’ve purchased one of these rotisserie chickens from Walmart.. after the first few bites, I could literally smell it in my sinuses and feel in my throat that I was immediately and rapidly getting the flu.
Their birds are sick and will make you sick. It happened to me three times in a row. And then I said, Fk it! Not worth being immediately sick and miserable for weeks.
I have not purchased a chicken from walmart in a few years.
My story does not related to Covid-19 as my experiences happened a few years prior.
Yes, that is true. Costco chicken is not cooked! I have to cook it again at home because is only the skin on the top that is cooked!
I just subscribed and am making my way through your videos you live near my mom! She lives in Floral City.
With the exception of Sodium Tripolyphosphate, this video is just simply crap in its argument that marinating chicken before reaching the store makes it a processed food. If the public perception/threshold of processed food is on the order of spam (which contains a bit too much potato starch to be identified as meat), then Costco chicken is hardly processed at all. Many people marinate their chicken and other meat before cooking it. If I marinate my chicken with thick-flavored soy sauce, I would effectively still be “processing” it with MSG (a very tiny dose among the rich cocktail of amino acid flavorings from fermented beans), yeast extract,, and natural flavorings. And if you’re going to argue that Costco chicken is “processed” on the technicality that it was marinated in a factory rather than in a [Costco] warehouse, then the health argument is really moot unless you produce a video telling everyone not to marinate their meat before cooking.
Just prepare your own food. Learn to cook basic foods, like a chicken.
Common sense
Btw the video image made me hungry and I went for Costco chicken. Debated all afternoon what to eat for dinner and this helped. Thanks
if yr gonna eat a rotiss chx why not have the one that tastes the best. If ya wanna eat kale, eat kale. no argument.
Publix has been selling rotisserie chicken for decades they are the best.
Americans disect their food a billion ways,. Nutrition, fitness, and gym industry is a billion dollar business in America, BUT HAVE YOU SEEN THE AMERICANS? In contrast, These preservatives like MSG has been used in Asia for ages, So howare FAT ASIANS COMPARED TO FAT AMERICANS or any other diseases? You be the judge.
Chickens are injected and all animals are injected with steroids that makes them get bigger quicker…. Equals cancer.. that’s karma… We torture animals than we eat their meat which gives cancer and all types of diseases
Hi Melanie! I included you in a video! I dont want you to miss it! I know not everyone has time to watch everyones videos. How are you? Ya know all I can think watching this is other states has have much cooler looking grocery stores than we do! Thats sad lol. Great keto haul!
you know nothing, my dog is an expert because he is a true carnivore and sure enough he does not like Costco chicken, he prefer Walmart, of course I remove the skin, the fat and the bones, while I dissect the chicken I noticed Costco chicken although bigger are very fatty and the fat I remove I throw to the ravens and crows with other meat I do not want to give the dog all of it cooked of course. I am vegetarian but my wife share the love of meat with the dog but does not care where the BBQ chicken is coming from because I clean it for her and give her only the white meat.
This really isn’t a big deal. People have been preparing it like this at home for forever. So technically they’re calling it processed because we’re not doing it at home? Oh well.
Half the time you can’t even finish the regular small sized Walmart chickens so you put in fridge and smells like shit and have to eat it cold because it wont fit in microwave.
Rotisserie chicken is great for making sandwiches…All Costco has to do is to change their recipe, and substitute the bad ones for good ones.
I love rotisserie chicken, because it’s super moist, super flavourful, and super delicious…Here in Jamaica, we have great rotisserie…Flavors include jerk (of course), mild jerk, bbq and golden roast, and they’re all delicious…Am not sure if msg is in any of those seasonings, though.
Last, I miss Kenny Rogers Roasters…That was delicious rotisserie chicken.
Who tf cares it’s delicious and also msg is not a unhealthy ingredient
If people would stop being so lazy hand buy raw chickens and cook their own. Cook it in a slow cooker people.
MSG? Yeast extract? Natural flavors? Meh. The United States Food and Drug Administration lists sodium tripolyphosphate (STPP) as “generally recognized as safe.”
-Wiki
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sodium_triphosphate#Food_applications
Did they seriously just say that bad ingredients like brown sugar are found in potato chips? Come the fuck on its brown sugar….
Buy an air fryer with a rotisserie, buy a free range organic chicken and cook it yourself!!! You’re welcome!
Still gonna buy one today! Tastes way better and healthier then McDonald 10 piece nuggets for $8 in Hawaii
When it comes to chicken, you want pasture raised chicken and ones that have been air chilled after being de-feathered.
I get one chicken per month. I removed the skin and de-boned I used the bone for soup and eat the meat through out the week.
Who in the hell shops at walmart…..everything is from China…havent people learned their lessons yet!!!!!!
COSTCO chickens are the best!!!!!
I made the mistake of buying one of those and omg it was so nasty I threw most of it away, I will never buy that crap again.
Do a video on why you should never watch Mashed videos…
making me feel bad for liking stuff..
“…….the long list of items to stay away from at Walmart”………
I wish you would have put that at the beginning of this banal tripe. You could have saved me 4 minutes of my life and from listening to the rest of this bullshit.
Msg,sugar, yeast extract, natural flavors =addictive. not pasture chicken. Same in potato chips. Remove skin &its healthy processed food.
“Heritage Farms” seems to be a Kroger brand. Costco must be getting ’em on the cheap (of course). That said, these birds do not appear in any of the NY metro area Costco warehouses however I always feel nauseous after eating ’em…
1:35 “It is definitely not kale” No sheet Sherlock, kale taste like paper.
why people hating on msg? its a natural chemical compound found in natural foods. the real reason why msg was demonized was due to racist motives during the era of Chinese immigrants coming to the west coast to help with building the railroads.
Misleading title and not even a fair comparison. Not everyone lives near a Sam’s Club. Granted the chickens are bigger and cheaper but it doesn’t matter if you have to drive 50 miles one way to get one. Not to mention you’re paying at least $45 a year for the privilege of buying these chickens. Thumbs down to this video.
As soon as I saw the Dr Oz logo, I knew the video was legit. Go watch Dr Oz testify before congress. Hilarious.
Well, the information came from Dr. Oz so… Take it with a grain of salt.
I am far more interested in whether they are using Out of Date Chickens in their Frozen sections.
I just bought a Safeway/Sobey’s roasted chicken and it tasted “frozen” you know that metallic taste on your tongue, then you know what I mean.
I don’t care what you say I’m not paying a fee just to get in a store
People are confusing msg, a.k.a mono sodium glutamate with the fifth flavor of umami. Umami, translating in Japanese to slight savory is a flavor picked up by many receptors the the toungue, and unlike sweetness/sourness it’s very difficult to have too much umami ( unlike too much salt). There are many umami compounds in tomatoes/ mushrooms however they do not contain msg: they contain other compounds that yield stimulation in the umami receptors in the toungue. The thing that makes msg special is it’s basically pure refined umami compounds: which is why it is used in so many foods: however the compounds occurring in fish/other vegetables/aged cheese(or egg) are different. As for umamis safety I would recommend use just like any other ingredient, do not add too much only, use in moderation, etc…
There hasn’t been too much reliable research on umami but as far as I can see people are just too worried about everything these days, not everything is unhealthy. Most things are fine with moderation.
Anyhow this was a little long but hope it helps, feel free to repost after giving credit.

Oh gosh… the first few shots of this video was total food porn for me… this was pretty perfect timing for me, started the green smoothie a day habit again. Great video
