Benefits of Phenolic Acid. Phenolic acids are readily absorbed through the walls of your intestinal tract, and they may be beneficial to your health because they work as antioxidants that prevent cellular damage due to free-radical oxidation reactions.Polyphenols are a category of compounds naturally found in plant foods, such as fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices, tea, dark chocolate, and wine. They.Eat lots of fruit.
One of the richest sources of phenolic acid is fruit. Phenolic acid is present in different fruits such as pears, grapes, and berries. Adding a variety to your diet can ensure that you increase your daily phenolic acid intake.
One phenolic compound believed to be a cancer preventative is found in green tea. Phenol is a toxic and corrosive compound often used in DNA extractions not exactly the kind of thing you want to eat.Almonds are some of the best nuts to increase the number of polyphenols in your diet. 100 g of these nuts contain 187 mg of polyphenol compounds that include 16 flavonoids and 2 phenolic acids. Almond consumption has been linked to reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease.
Some of the best sources of polyphenols include fruits, vegetables, nuts, beans, tea, coffee, herbs and spices. Although polyphenol supplements are also available, it’s best to increase your intake of polyphenol foods instead to minimize the risk of adverse side effects. Some notable phenolic antioxidants with proven health effects include: bioflavonoids, found in wines, teas, fruits, and vegetables tocopherols, including vitamin E, found in many fruits, nuts, and. Some phenols are concentrated in the skin and the seeds of some foods.
Roasted nuts, juices, and dehydrated foods can cause a phenolic response. It is best to go for raw alternatives. Yeast-based foods such as bananas can cause a negative, but different reaction.High-polyphenol foods Various herbs and spices contain polyphenols, including star anise, peppermint, and cinnamon.
Plant-based foods such as vegetables and.Phenolic acids (PA’s) account for nearly one third of the polyphenols in our diet and are found in all plant materials 1,2; with particular abundance in acid-tasting fruits 3. The primary sources of dietary phenolic acids are: blueberry, cranberry, pear, cherry, apple, orange, grapefruit, lemon, peach, potato, lettuce, spinach, coffee and tea.Phenolic acids are promptly consumed through the dividers of your intestinal tract, and they might be valuable to your wellbeing since they fill in as cancer prevention agents that counteract cell harm because of free-radical oxidation responses. The Polyphenol phenolic acid supplements may likewise work as anti inflammatory in the human body.
The phenolic acids in vegetables and their health benefits have been cluster mapped, which may facilitate further research for nutraceutical development for specific health concerns. The processing stability of phenolic acids coupled with higher consumption indicates that they may be a.Their food sources vary greatly, but in in general, phenolic acids are highly concentrated in the seeds and skins of fruits, and the leaves of vegetables. Phenolic acids are commercially available as dietary supplements as well, though consuming them from dietary sources are still believed to be the best option of loading up on phenolic acids.
Signs and S ymptoms of Phenol Sensitivities. There are many signs and symptoms of phenol sensitivities. As a result, the best way to determine which ones impact your child is to keep a food journal. The onset of symptoms of phenol sensitivities usually happens between 20 minutes and two hours after eating the phenol-containing food.
Phenolic compounds in olive oil, which have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-clotting properties, may explain cardiovascular health benefits associated with the so-called Mediterranean Die.

So it is argued that fiber is required for our bacteria to produce scfa and we can produce scfa ourselves on a low carb diet or literally just eat butter… so why do we need the fibre? Or is this a case of a wonderfully adaptable digestive system that can handle being either fat OR carb fueled and regulate itself. Personally… I’ll eat the butter.
Thanks you Nadir. Can you issue a presentation of high glucose (100-120) on carnivore keto
Dr. Ali, I’ve been following a ketogenic lifestyle for 3 years now. I stopped taking a statin 6 months ago. Previous to that I was on one for 25 years. At 50 years old I’m in the best health of my life. I lift weights 5 days a week and have taken 7 inches off my waist over the past 3 years and added lean mass. I’m basically pretty lean and ripped at this point. As far as my cholesterol I’ve seen the expected things happen when the statin stopped, much as you present. I also believe I’m a lean mass hyper-responder. I see a doctor that is familiar with the ketogenic diet and supports me being on it. She runs a full metabolic panel every 6 months, including insulin, the APO markers, etc. My question is around the LDL-P particles APoB and the APoB ratio. These also jumped pretty significantly. I have no insulin resistance in my body, I maintain insulin levels between 2-4 normally. My doctor was slightly concerned about the LDL-P particles more than anything. I’m not looking for any medical advice, just wondering if you have any observations around those markers and LDL-P with hyper responders and stopping statin use?
. Carnivores and keto-ists, book a showing of “Fat Fiction” at a movie theater near you: https://youtu.be/ov9nJfZWqTA
I wish we could see what he is pointing to, otherwise very interesting.
Very very good info.
But hopefully he can second look at the grass fed vs factory farm meat.
Factory meat is very unhealthy because of all the omega 6 content, animal feeds corn, soy and antibiotic.
I think all doctors in their undergradution and post graduation must be taught this diet lecture
1:04:00 Dr Ali what about oxalates, which are not broken down with cooking? I know I had a big problems with this before ditching leafy greens. Thanks for the great overview.
I love, love your videos… the way you explain these, sometimes confusing topics helps me to assimilate the information! I watched one of your earlier videos when you were making a really high fiber salad. You have changed things, which I understand…I think it would be great if you could post another yt video showing what you eat in a day now.
You didn’t explain about where does cholesterols goes when you consuming through the diet? Maybe stock in your arteries blocking blood flow.
Wow, I learned about polyphenols in the early 90’s and have deliberately added hem to my diet and taken supplements of them. NOW they are considered an antinutrient! how frustrating.
Im from Algeria and we cure absolutly everything with olive oil
I would love to have you on my channel for a chat with my viewers. Do let me know if you would be willing to do so. I run a channel for low carb/keto recipes. Thx
thank you keep on researching you have more too find out what is the optimal diet
Excellent talk Dr Nadir. I’ve listened to a couple of your seminars online and I must say they are very impressive and I have learnt a lot from them.
This is great information.. Good go to know all this stuff. Dr. Nadir Ali Thank you for sharing your knowledge with all of us making healthy choices.
Question: So would taking apple cider vinegar before a meal then help to add needed stomach acid for older folks?
dr. Ali should have at least 10 million subscribers, so much effort goes into these presentations. thankyou verymuch
I think our bodies evolved to look like what we need to eat… this is art created by our God.
I just would like to make the point that Homo erectus had the body proportions (and stature) of a modern human but with a smaller brain and perhaps more prominent upper and lower jaw. (Diagram suggested something different on proportions and stature).
Richard Wrangham speculates, based on the proportions and smaller, sharp teeth, that bipedal apes have probably been cooking food at least since H erectus.
Dr. Terry Wahls heals MS with high vegetables paleo diet. So Dr Nadir Mir Ali theory seems to be proven wrong.
This is how I eat plant life….. my cows and goats eat the plants (grass)…. then they give me cream, milk, butter, cheese, meat! Yeah for ruminants!!!
Which scenario is more harmful: Insulin release in a meal where carbohydrates and/ or sugar combined with saturated fat (in that of a keto diet) or carbohydrates and sugar alone? If we are eating sugar, is the adding of keto food make the saturated fat very dangerous than if keto food (fat/protein) was not present?
As an Italian I have learned that olive oil is life and now I have proof. Great Video!!
This is exactly what I talk about in this video:
https://youtu.be/6edbwLm8ULU
These are AMAZING lectures. I work in events and a/v. The audio artifacts are from a cell phone near to the mic pack Dr Ali is wearing. When wearing an rf mic give the phone to a helper who can mind it while utilizing a wireless microphone. Keep up the great work Dr!
While some of this is correct….This is also, so wrong, and ill conceived!! I mean like diabetes. There is such a HUGE group that have diabetes, but yet. They’re are not fat!!! They’re skinny, but yet diabetic!!
His explanations, are quite a bit, incorrect!!
Sounds like we can avoid sickness and disease and cure most with simply eating right.
Is psyllium husk ok as a fiber supplementit’s not cooked but processed?
Thank you Doctor. Best thing you say is “I don’t know.” This shows your humility and intelligence.
“…does all the bad things” is a very technical term. Cute! Awesome work, Dr Ali:D
my body released more acid
so weight loss more than 7 kg and fell sickness or digestion problem badly please tell what can I do for this
Thank you.. Really appreciate all these lectures and learning so much. Karen, Tomball Texas
Thank you for all the information presented. Especially the part about adiponectin. I have not been able to find any concise info online as to why adiponectin would be low and why it would naturally increase and what that would mean.
The study on stomach acid production isn’t this just hampered or becomes screwed up over time on the S.A.D., candida or zinc deficiency (From all those leafy greens)! Be nice to see if this effects people like the Massi and Inuit? Is this why we have a longer small intestine, than say a dog (not sure if the surface areas are the same, can not find the data), one as an insurance policy to stop undigested proteins from entering the colon and two to get the maximum amount of nutrients out of the food as possible?
I have seen other lectures on fibre (Dr. Paul Mason and Zoe Harcombe) and also thought about this in a logical way, going back to our Massi and Inuit, these groups rarely had any fibre! I believe that this is not necessary, as surely if SCFA’s aren’t available to the gut via breakdown of fibre, then a low or no fibre diet is Ketonic in nature and therefore buytrate will be available in the blood stream. I see this on a day to day basis with the elderly, we are told that we need fibre to go to the toilet, they pile them with fibre and laxatives, as the bowel has become lazy, isn’t the bowel supposed to contract and move the chyme along the length of the bowel?
Love the lecture very good covers some brillant topics and is an all rounder for health, shame the sound isn’t very good in places, hope you give this lecture again at another venue and post on You Tube.
On the carnivore diet I struggle with constipation. On the plant based diet I form kidney stones. I guess the optimal diet for me is fasting.:0(
If you Eat acidic foods can they be neutralized or lowered by eating alkaline foods with it?
@nadir mir ali:
1. First read this:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kleiber's_law
2. The human trade-off is most aggressive against all the robustness mechanisms:
fur, immune, digestion, muscle-power, senses external and internal.
3. There is NO somatic-compensation to what the Brain takes,
because human physiology is inherently rubbish vs. any other animal.
Dr r u from Pakistan or india by name u r muslim I m also like u r channel from pakistan, like you explanation Allah bless you give u more clarity.
The Expensive Tissue Hypothesis taken as an argument, that we HAD to shrink the colon to grow the brain, might be false (maybe we sufficiently reduced energy demand just by walking upright, or in other ways), but who cares? We went from eating mostly plants to eating mostly meat during the time we grew our brain, which made a big fermenting colon unnecessary. Maybe we lost the big colon because of sexual selection (female and or males finding a narrow waist more attractive). The point is, a big colon wasn’t necessary in the last 3 million years, and so it was superfluous. Eating fatty grubs, then bone marrow from scavenging, then from hunting… it’s pretty easy to see why the big colon was a waste of skin, and so why is might disappear.

I live around so many gross humans in the USA, I literally get sick and depressed just seeing them out in public. They are devolving back into apes who sit around eating sugar and gluten all days. They are also quite ignorant to converse with. All they want is small talk which amuses them to no end. They are far too lazy brained to try to balance a budget or watch any educational videos such as these which would teach them how to take care of their bodies. I’m hoping 90 percent of the humans currently living in USA die off (from natural causes) and get replaced by humans who once again care to look and think their best.
Corn is not healthy I was told. I don’t know if that has to do with everything they’re spraying on it or if it’s just not good for your body. Somebody?
Very interesting video Babble Top! The voice doesn’t sound too bad either! Most pleasant!
I feel annoyed by the rude audience who continue interrupting the speaker to ask questions and make comments. This is a presentation, not a conversation. He would take questions at the end I’m sure. His presentation is very informative.
Dr. Ali, you are a master teacher. thank you for making your knowledge available for free. Just brilliant and so easy, even I, a layperson, can fully understand. I love, love, love that yo are so open in teaching different angles. You are not selling us your theory, you are explaining what took you many years to learn. BIG THANK YOU…………………..Bianca, Los Angeles
Very nice. That is important for healthy food. Thanks.
I subscribed. Please do the same to my channel.
“Ruminants are amazing.” Pretty sure this guy and Peter Ballerstedt would get along great.
Edit: He mentions Ballerstedt at the end. Neat!
59:33 Summary. However, you should watch the whole video when you have time.
l like this channel so much value!!! THANKS A LOT…l also try to create content just like this, please check out and support me:) show some love for beginners:)D The benefist of vegetables

nadir mir ali; Can share an example of a patient that was suffering from severe CVD and instead of surgery they changed their diet to keto, Paleo, Atkins, or low carb high fat (LCHF) and saw immediate disease reversal?
Great talk. However, I don’t believe chimps turn into humans. If that was true, there would be no chimps at this point. Otherwise, right on with the benefits of carnivore over vegan-especially raw veggies.
“Evolution” that is the first thing that should be questioned. But alas, there is no alternative, except religion and who wants to believe in THAT!
Reasons to switch to Paleo diet: https://healthprowess.wordpress.com/workouts-and-nutrition/5-reasons-to-switch-to-paleo-diet-for-weight-loss-in-2020/
Dr. Ali, My HS-CRP is 1.3 which is considered moderate and my LP-PLA2 Activity is 163 which is considered high. What can I do to reverse these numbers.
Okay, just eat green vegies as a condiment. As far as eating too much protein, once adapted it will naturally limit itself unless you are a gorger, then you have another issue. Just my opinion.
If we should not eat carbs and not too much protein… what is there left to eat?:D
Keep up the good work doc, your lectures are so clear and simple and so easy to understand
NEVER, EVER LISTEN TO THE GOVERNMENTS!! THEY ARE CORRUPT AND ILLITERATE PEOPLE!!!
One female interrupty clown in the audience. Otherwise very pleasant and interesting video.
Confused why animl based was chosen at the end only plus was weight loss over the 5 day period but that would of just been glycogen loss.
On a forks and knives link they are giving “evidence” that fats greatly decrease insulin sensitivity. I am keto over a year and pre diabetic. What do you think of their proof? https://www.forksoverknives.com/fat-insulin-resistance-blood-sugar/#gs.oyvyqv

Can we say this is sign that God exist or just a coincidence
Wow… just wow so much.. misinformation, anectdotes, half studies. One of his examples plant contains toxins, based on 50 cases between 1976 and 1989. Meanwhile there was done a study on 800 million people and proved definitely eating too much meat lead to promoting cancer and cardiovascular disease. If you want to eat more meat and more fat, do it. But do not try to justify it with just plain lies and clearly a well funded research by the food corporations.
It’s refreshing to see a doctor of your ethnicity who is not a vegetarian ❤️

Excellent Podcast . #Yes2Meat. #MeatHeals. .
I didn’t know olive oil, especially, extra virgin olive oil was so good and important for SO many different things! Great video!
More more!
Excellent Podcast Dr Nadir Rocks #Yes2Meat. #MeatHeals. #EatMeatSaveThePlanet. #RegenatriveAgriculture
I will never support fake meat, lab meat, or processed food!!,
If (A) one still has significant body fat and (B) ZC produces a stable source of energy from ketones, why would one still get hungry or crave dietary fat (other than for other nutritional needs)? That is, given (A) and (B), if ketones can be converted from either dietary or body fat, why would the body need more food/dietary fat?
Also, thoroughly chewing your rare meat and eating very slow will allow for better digestion. Right?
I love olive oil and knowing this Im eating it a bit more cuz I’m eating is a lot already
(pretend that’s olive oil)
I never knew the benefits of extra virgin olive oil, but it’s fascinating… to be honest I really only think about it when I’m at a fancy restaurant and they serve it with bread and vinegar or herbs… which is super rare. maybe once a year.
Sounds silly, but I did have a soak in the tub once with epsom salts and olive oil for a horrible sunburn once and it helped a lot.
two polar opposite ends of the spectrum, but there ya go!
If you don’t recommend Grass Fed, do you still recommend organic?
You really are brilliant Nadir. Keep up the lectures we need you.
Anyone who downplays fiber is an idiot or paid by the meat industry. Not saying go vegan, small amounts of meat is important and nutritious, but fiber is important for blood sugar metabolism, cholesterol which binds to fiber, cleaning out the digestive tract among many other things. Most of your diet should be plant based.
Dr. Ali sir I doing keto sait 30 day i have gout now what I eat now I am continue keto dait yes or not plz tel me
Great discussion. So, what are the natural and healthy ways to increase stomach acid? When is that video coming out? Thanks.
Very good presentation dr. I take Apple cider vinegar before my meal to increase stomach acid and I don’t drink anything for an hour so the acidity can help digest the food, and help the breakdown of protein. I feel great. I also do intermittent fasting daily for 18 hours. My waste went down from 38” to now 32”. Full of energy and brain focus. I do sometimes one meal per day. I moved my body from on the go mode by eating to a recovery, rebuild and recycle by fasting. The gut is our second brain.
Who cooks beans for 1 hour at 100C to be able to reduce lectins to a lower level? To be complete it should be mentioned that cooking grains (brown rice), beans using a Pressure pot at the high pressure setting not only would break down Lectins (except gluten) in a much shorter time, but guaranteed time duration to break down the Lectins. There is not even a need to soak them (a little longer cooking on the pressure pot, refer to charts that come with pressure pots or online). You mentioned that historically people have been eating beans, but missed the important detail that our parents used pressure pots. The new generation for simplicity (or fear) do not use pressure pots and the result can be seen on the cities all over the world. Obesity caused by inflammation of body cells and leaky guts is rampant. Medications that work on the wrong side of the health issues sell so much that adverts on TV programs are mostly for them. Impacted immune systems by these medications are exposed to many other diseases. studies to reverse aging are all over by the scientists that did not even yet discover ways to provide a healthy life as we age naturally.
To day I listened your teachings for two hours good and easy to understand enjoyed your passion to change peoples lives I know I am seriously following your diet thanks if twenty five percent of people in USA change eating habits can you imagine what will happen to drugs companies
BabbleTop is the best. I wanna see the face behind the beautiful voice of the videos.
Welp time to see the secrets of olive oil.
I’ve never wanted to say that XD
