This video was very informative, thank you! I do have a question, though: I calculated everything with my pen and paper and got my total macro breakdown for each meal. I went into MyFitnessPal and put in the percentages of carbs/protein/fats I wanted and it was very different from what I calculated. I was certain I did my math right, does anyone have any insight?
I love Disney but all so like seeing other stuff you are doing like what you showed here, keep it up and coming.
Wow best breakdown I’ve come across and you broke it down by meal! Bravo
For weight loss
1,700 cal Intake goal, mine are:
127.5g carbs
170g protein
56.6g fat
I get that we only should intake 70% of the protein and carbs per each meal but for protein, that puts me at 39g per 3 meals a day with 18g per 2 snack. That equals 153g protein intake per day. Why does this not equate to 170g? (o.O)? I’m I not understanding something???(#>_<) Also I’m a picky vegetarian! how on earth do I get that much protein inside of me (T^T)
This is great to see off property dining, maybe mention the proximity to the resorts or parks? Also would like review on other shopping options if you need groceries or anything would be helpful! Thanks for all the informative and fun vlogs!
Thank you! Tilapia is one of my fave fish. Now i know that its not bad for my body.
Very useful, I am regularly watch your video, do you have any beef burger good recipe?
Superb informative! I counted my requirements based on these calculations. It’s much easier than any information I have come across. I also liked ur advice that these calculations are not to count calories all the time but to differentiate and make healthier choices over calories. Thank you for sharing, Joanna rocks!
I workout 6 days a week. Which intensity level does I belong in?
Haha…this type of calculation not suitable for me,i still prefer your previous video that show a slice of bread plus cheese is how many cal….but at least now i know how much cal I hv to consume.and may I ask if i jz recover from spine injury, which workout is more suitable for me?
Hi hope you see this but I’ve been planning to loose weight recently and I’ve done this for about a week so far that’s it but I’m actually not sure if it is a good workout to do every day (3 days then recovery and repeat)
Also I’m only 13 and I’m a beginner to exercises so it may look a bit simple lol
I would start with a 10 minute stretch then do:
20 star jumps to warm up with 20 lunges and then 30 standing bicycle crunches.
I would then do 30 push ups but I would lift my legs on a box as I can’t actually do push ups (••)
I would also do 30 wall push ups and then 20 claps over my head with straight arms and weights in both hands (only 1.5kg tho for each weight)
I’d then go into a straight arm plank for 30 seconds
After that, I would do 20 heel touches, 20 bicycle crunches, 20 leg lifts into 46 seconds of flutter kicks. Then I would do 30 squats and sumo squats and pile squats.
I then do donkey kicks both legs 20 times
I’d then do quick feet for a minute and butt kicks for a minute.
Then side lying leg lifts 30 times on each leg.
Then butt bridge 30 times.
Then swimmer and superman thingy 20 times
I’d then go into a minute plank or a minute and a half (usually only a minute tho sorry haha)
After this i would complete a ten minute warm down and stretches.
This is just it at the moment I’m planning to add in strength training, cardio, high intensity and jogging in my plan as I feel as doing this constantly might not work as effectively as what I expect.
So shall I stick with this everyday or put it maybe twice a week with the side of strength and high intensity workouts and jogging? And of course recovery days.
I just have no clue I’m just fat and wanna loose weight pahah
Any advice from viewers too would be great I’m just not so sure:))
Out of this calculation i have 1692, 90 ckal with lowest activity.
In my calories counting App, with weight loss, i got 1189 ckal for a day without acticities.
I hardly have this, its mostly more around 1300 ckal, at Bad days 1700ckal.
With the 1692 ckal from here plus if i Do Workouts or had more activity as just sitting around (which is impossible cause i am a Single mom) i should not Stick to my weight or even gain some
But I reach my daily ckal goal from the App, i hold my weight… I lost, when i did a 500 ckal week, but that can’t be seriosly i would be happy, my weight be straight, when i eat 1690 ckal a day, but when i did, i gain
im going for the weight lose, 2313 are my total calories in a day. so that will be 30% CARBS 173g, 40% PROT 231.3g and 30% FAT 77g

https://youtu.be/a0SoSMN4TOM
Hello Joanna! I have a question, in my gym people say that during workout wearing a body shaper would help to tighten up the skin and help to shape up quickly! Is it true or just a myth?
Joanna, I have wanted to count my macros for a while, but have never known how, thank you for the easy to understand explanation, just when I needed it most.
Soo…I’ve been following your video:
I am 60kg, height 157cm but I wanted to lose weight. My calorie consumption is 1900 cals, but I reduced it to 1600 cals.
I did my calculations, so my macro breakdown are…
carbs = 160g (640 calories) + protein [ 120 g ( 480 calories) ] + fats [ 53g ( 480 calories)] = 1600 calories a day.
I hope im able to keep track of my calories consumption cause I dont want my bmi to go over 25. I am 24.5 now.
awesome video,thank you!
follow @weightlossjourneyiris for meal ideas, I have lost 10kg so far!let’s do this weight loss thing together!
I have never felt so good to be as tall or as heavy as I am. I don’t know how I would live on 1500 calories a day (or even less, if I were trying to lose fat).
Thank you for this video.
If you and Mike like cuban food, you should try Padrino’s. It is not too far from Disney, just a little east in Hunters Creek. It blows the now defunct Bongo’s out of the water with the food and the pricing. We go there on every trip, but my wife is cuban so, well, yea. 😉
Yay! I have been waiting to see a video like this! Pei Wei seems a lot like Panda Express!
Funny, I just had Pei Wei for dinner last night in Orange County, CA
This was so helpful, as an endurance runner I knew I needed to eat lots of carbs but it helps to know the quantity. Thanks!:)))

I ate at the Sarasota location of Pei Wei and it was not good. I tried P F Changs in Clearwater and it was great. You should try Hawkers Scratch Asian street food. It was so good. I went to the one in St.Pete but I believe there is also one in Orlando. I think you might like it. I was so excited to hear that Portillos is building a location near Disney. Finally some Chicago type food coming here. You have to try it when it opens next year!

I used to live in AZ and went to Pei Wei all the time. I loved it! I live in PA now and miss them.
I think this gives a good idea of how to balance your meals well, although if I counted every single calorie I’d probably develop a complex
My appetite increases if I start my work out. Is it good or bad?? Please advise Joanna I am not tat foodie bt work out makes me hungry.
