thank you again for another wonderful recipe! i used half lakanto golden and half classic just because i was low on the classic, and found the taste/texture was still great! my family also thinks this is the best keto cookie yet. looking forward to see what you share in the future!
I bake these cookies a couple times per month for my family and I miss them. Now I can have my own Cowboy Cookies. Thank you so much for sharing your Keto recipe.
Another awesome recipe!! We still have to talk about open a Keto bakery!! Hahaha
Well, this looks just as delicious as any other of your recipes. I can’t help noticing the cookies lined up like that 2:32 and you picking one up so gracefully, it’s cute and amusing. I’m a cookie monster LOL so I might have to make this my meal for the entire day jk
Just in case the following is of any help, salted butter in Spanish is “mantequilla con sal”; yes, “mantequilla salada” is the exact translation but we don’t ever say that and it sounds odd, like butter you would salt separately.
Net carbs in Spanish is “carbohidratos netos”; carburo is carbon or carbide. I don’t mean to pester, just fyi
Just listening on the background music is addicting already if it’s not too much to ask, could you do a video for blueberry or coconut pie? Great video as always! Tnx
After adding the 2 eggs, what is the flourlike ingredient that you added?
Hi. These look great. Are they unsweetened chocolate chips? Or sweetened without sugar (i.e. Lily’s)?
How many net carbs per cookie?? Damn…that’s the most important part
Yesssss. Thank you. This cookie has all of my favorite ingredients (nuts, coconut and chocolate).
Can’t wait to try this recipe. I am not on a keto diet but I love experiment new recipes and learn new ones! Thank you for sharing
Hey queen nice video man yesterday I made brown butter cookies but these cookies looks so yummy mmmthank you for sharing
For me, it needs a bit of caramel. It looks tempting, for sure. Your channel & TPH keto desserts are my favorite. Have you experimented with many flours and sweetners? I am curious if you have much insight on using certain ones for certain types of baking vs others.
Why these “Keto Cowboys” were in hiding for so long??? Must be that the real good ones are the shy ones……not any more thanks to

How many cookies were you able to make with these measurements?
I love cowboy cookies! I make these but with slight adjustments For sweetener, I do have regular monk fruit and half brown sugar substitute and I also toast the pecans and coconut flakes Thank you for sharing your recipe!❤
Looks to die for. I’ve never been a cake mixed with fruit person. Have you ever tasted it without the pears? Will be making this excluding the pears. Thanks for sharing
Question! What’s the taste difference between melted butter and brown butter? I’ve made chocolate chip cookie batter with melted butter (in the microwave), but never browned butter. Is there a huge taste difference?
Oh wow… You girl are always killing it! Can’t wait to make them.
Im waiting for the cookies in fridge right now and my finished batter seemed so much stiffer than yours so i ended up putting a hint of milk and an extra egg to make it somewhat softer, i hope it comes out good still
I have watched this video and made these cookies at least 4 times, they are awesome!! Love It..
I’m pregnant and I just want to eat the dough. I don’t think it would make it to the oven if I made these.
GIRL YOU CRAZY!!!

ILOVEEEE your channel and this recipe!:) How would we make this into a double chocolate chip cookie?….do we replace a half cup or a full cup of flour with cocoa powder? or just add cocoa powder to the recipe?
Omg I was baking this with my kids and my 7 year old in a rush poured on the butter eggs and chocolate chips before the butter was cooled enough welp the chips melted we baked it so it was no longer a biracial cookie but a chocolate cookie with pecans Almonds and shredded coconut it was SOOOOOOPPPPPPPED up a happy mistake
Been looking for chocolate chips cookies recipe, I tried tons already and cant find the perfect one for me. Will definately try this, hopefully they will come out well! How many cookies did this recipe made? I want to start a small business as my job has been troubled by the pandemic. Hoping for this to be the one!! hahaha

I suggest when making baking or cooking tutorials short nails are more appropriate.
I like mine thin and crispy, but i want the brown butter nutty taste. I normally do creaming butter method. But does brown butter affect the texture of cookies?
I made these cookies today. WOW WOW WOW!!! 1st time I ever browned butter. TY!!
I agree with some of your feedback. You should totally have your own show. U are hilarious and I love it I cannot wait to make this recipe. Very easy to follow. Thank you for posting
What if the dough isn’t as wet as yours? Like its a little dry
Girl!!!!!!!!! New subbie! I’m in love with your videos
I know it has raw eggs in it, but I like living on the edge by taste testing the dough before cooking. Bih!!!! When I tell you, I could eat the whole bowl RAW … if it were safe, I’d eff it up straight like that!! Thank you for blessing my soul this evening and for all the many scalp snatching recipes you grace us with.
Just tried the recipe.. The cookies came out great!!!! Thanks so much!!!!
Made these for the 5th time last night and used vanilla bean paste instead of vanilla extract and cut up some Valrhona chocolate from a bar instead of using chips. Best batch yet!
Im weak she said drink koolaid. U should have your own show on tv.
I just watched a video you did on some guys channel and…

Beautiful.
I don’t understand why you don’t just have the camera on you. I don’t give a damn about this stupid ass food gurl!!!!!
These were amazing! I added two scoops of espresso powder along with the pecan and chocolate chips. These are so freaking addictive, I want to make more. I’ve never browned butter before but I think that is a game changer. Thanks again for the wonderful recipe!
Girlllll Yasssss!! The only way I make cookies now!!! These are a hit!!!✊♥️
I feel like I’m listening to an episode of “Sister Sister.”

im only one minute into this and im already subscribed you got me crackin up!! idk you but i know i wanna be your friend! hahaha ♥️
I made these yesterday and they may be my go to chocolate chip cookie from now on. I did use only 2 tsp of vanilla and added some molasses as I only have light brown sugar but like a richer flavor.
Chile… this has been the best chocolate chip cookie recipe I’ve tried so far! Browning the butter makes a total difference then room temperature butter!!! I made plain cc, cc/pecan & cc/pecan/coconut out of my batch. Soooo yummy!!! Thanks for sharing! #SoppedUp‼️
No joke, I just made these and they are actually REALLY good! I was worried about browning the butter because I had never done it before and when I was making it the butter almost bubbled over! I ended up taking it off the stove while stirring and if it still wasn’t brown, I put it back for more heat and repeat. You have to stir it though because the brown starts at the bottom! After it got some color, I took it off the flame and kept stirring. The pot I used is iron so it was basically still cooking. It gets a nice sweet scent!
Chilled the dough in the fridge for about 45 minutes. I just used an old fashioned spoon to portion them out and I did my best to make them even. I baked them 6 at a time on a standard size cooking sheet with a silicone mat (although parchment should work just fine). The first time I baked for 9 minutes, it needed a little more time so I did 10-12 for the rest of the batches. They’ll be ready when you see a golden rim forming around the cookie so keep an eye on them.
This yielded 24 very decent sized (probs 2-2.5 inch) cookies!
I repeat, these cookies are the real deal!!!
I JUST MADE THIS RECIPE AND THE COOKIES ARE IN THE OVENNNN!! I’m soo excited!!!!!
Those are yummy cookies! Heck, even Cookie Monster would love to have one of your cookies. Hope he doesn’t steal one.
I made these cookies and they are delicious. However mine did not flatten the way yours did. Mine are chunkier, but I prefer thin. I’m not sure what I did wrong. Any idea what happened? Thank you. Love all of your videos btw
I’m loving us because of her. Nobody got that style like we do. Perfect instructions and beautiful voice.
You had me at ‘Pecan’. Just about everything is better with pecans!!
Another great recipe! I never thought to use butterscotch chips in my oatmeal cookies… I usually use white chocolate chips.

Made these cookies yesterday for my family and they loved it Thanks so much.
Wow! Thank you! I’ve been waiting for a keto cookie recipe with brown butter. I’m making these ASAP!
So if I don’t want them chewy I shouldn’t add cornstarch correct?
Yo. I’m too done with you ma’am. Hi-freaking-larious. Love the tutorial. I’m make mine almost the same way.
this recipe has officially become my go-to I decided to add dark chocolate and caramel instead of chocolate chips and pecans and every time I make them they disappear within 5 min. According to my friends these cookies just hit different . Thank you for the great recipe.
Love your vid! I am definitely going to try this recipe! Your enthusiasm is infectious! Quick question though, what’s the reason for the cornstarch?
I am so glad I came across your channel! You make me laugh and smile.. live your energy and love ANYTHING you cook!!
Just made these, but used walnuts instead of pecans! Waiting the dough to cool in the fridge. I’m so excited!!!
Stove top kisses these scrumptious cookies are so sopped up good and delicious!!!!! I can’t wait to make some more which I think may be this evening will be the time to do just that. Do you think we could do the same brown butter for peanut butter cookies also? Just curious Thank you so much for awesome recipes. God bless you and yours
Love it!! Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe!!
These are amazing!!! This recipe has people thinking I can bake. Asking for “my” cookies. I’m going to try & substitute raisins & cinnamon for chocolate chips & pecans just to see what happens. ❤
Is there anything you can substitute for the xanthan gum? Could you use cornstarch?
How do you store these? In fridge/freezer, or do they hold up out of there?
Easy holiday treat the I can make and eat and indulge without cheating!
Easy holiday treat the I can make and eat and indulge without cheating!
These look amazing! And simple to make, yay:). Thank you very much for this recipe.
Thank you so much for listing the ingredients and instructions in the description box. Thank you!!!!!
I definitely going to try these…I’m learning to use xanthum gum…try to make a gravy for my pork chops from pan drippings I won’t tell how bad it was….I should have known with gum at the end of the name
OMG! Brown butter! Toasted oats! BUTTERSCOTCH!!!! Sign me-and my quarantine widened butt-UP!!! This sounds beyond wonderful
I tried a recipe browned butter for the first time a few months ago for a browned butter chocolate chip cookie and..I am absolutely addicted! there is even a browned butter cookie company in a beautiful little place in CA by the ocean…these two girls started with that little browned butter cookie….like your recipe will try.
I just tried these minus the butterscotch chips cuz I didn’t have any. It was wonderful. Especially with a glass of milk
This video’s got way less views than it deserves… those cookies look deliciuos!
These cookies not only look amazing but I made them following your recipe and they turned out heavenly!!! There goes my waist line 😉 Thank you so much!!!!!
I tried these today without the butterscotch chips and they were great! This is going to be my new go to recipe.
I love brown butter and the gorgeous scent it fills my kitchen with. I’m trying these out tomorrow and I’m sure these cookies are going to be a family keeper. Thank you so much!
Can you brown salted butter? That’s the only butter I have on hand
I tried this today and it’s YUM!!!! may i ask about how I should mix the melted butter, sugar and eggs? do i have to beat it until it’s slightly fluffy? or just until it’s thoroughly incorporated? And for how long should i mix?:(( whenever I bake my cookies they turn out too chewy like gum:(
Oh my goodness I love with how much love you make your videos and talk about baking and cooking!:) thank you for showing how to get brown butter!:)
OK, I just made these… honestly, the BEST cookies I have had in MoNthS!! (And I do eat my fair share of cookies.) They’re perfect for this blustery Fall day. I followed the recipe to a T, and will definitely make these over and over. Thank you for posting!!
Update: Yaaaasss. Cookies just came out the oven. These look like some professional cookies from Panera or somethin. I let them sit for 10 min and just took a bite. I had to slap myself and come back to update my comment. Yes ma’am and yessuh.
Just made the dough, but substituted the pecans with walnuts because that’s what I had on hand and we gone make it do what it do. It’s 12:56AM and you got me up here making cookie dough. SMH!
omg…what a cookie..love love love this..thank you so much…
These cookies look AMAZING! Thanks for showing how it’s done…I’m going to go try it!:)
Omg! I LOVE butterscotch chips too! These look really delicious so I am definitely going to make these!:D
Way to go Cookie Sweetie Santa is gone love these cookies Thanks for sharing BLESSINGS 06 29 2020
Another great sounding recipe! I’m definitely making these! I made your cornbread and it was divine. I need to go get that butter browning.
I’ll need to find an online shop to buy butterscotch chips… not something you’d normally find in a supermarket here in Denmark! But the cookies look and sound really great!
You are so sweet and have so many great ideas……your subscriber’s rate is going to skyrocket!:-)
Looks great…….You don’t have the butterscotch chips under the ingredient list. I was going to make them that’s why I noticed.
Thanks for posting.
Goodness those cookies look fantastic! I also love anything butterscotch but we can’t get butterscotch chips here unfortunately. I’ll sub with white or dark. Thank you for this
I could not look away! I’m gonna try these tonight!!! beautiful video
Yummy these look so so good.
Your so creative. Thankyou another beautiful video you guys are great. Hope you have a wonderful week
A couple months ago I found a recipe for browned butter chocolate chip cookies. It’s very similar to this one. I haven’t tried this one but I can affirm that browning the butter makes them absolutely next-level. The smell of the butter when mixed with the sugar and vanilla is AMAZING!
Hi. This looks soooo good! Im gonna try it this weekend. But I have a question, can I sprinkle the sea salt before baking?
Hi Yummy looking cake. Trying to make this for the father’s day. One package of cream cheese = to how many grams? I get 200 g package cream cheese where i live. Thanks for the tutorial.
Great video!!! My heart has been broken every since Haagen Daaz stopped making their caramelized pear and toasted pecan ice cream and this looks like an even better flavor combination!
This cake is about to become a new hit!:):)
I love the cookies and I love Sam’s beautiful smile. It’s quite the combo
Hi, just wondering if I can use butter flavored shortening in the frosting if I don’t have plain? Thanks. Looks great
LOVE browned butter! Worth the extra effort, for sure. And the aroma… Oh my, the aroma… <3
Baked these today for fourth of July. Followed the instructions to a “T”. Came out perfectly and were delicious. Hubby went back for seconds & thirds. lol! Thank you for this amazing recipe:)
This is a great cookie. I have made them about 4 times now and everyone loves them. Thank you for the recipe.
hello! i wanna try this recipe but would it be possible to bake these using a toaster oven?:)
Sooo i just made these. Maybe a little less brown sugar or a mix of light and dark would have been better BUT HOLY S%!T THESE ARE AWESOME!!! How awesome??? Neighbors that never even say hi said SMELLS GOOD IN THERE, like what?!?!?! THANK YOU!!!!
These look amazing!
I have some questions though. What does the corn starch do exactly? Is it making the cookies chewier?
Also can I lessen the sugar in the recipe?
Thank you. Can’t wait to try these!
So I made these cookies this afternoon following this recipe to a “t” and they turned out absolutely DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!
This is hands down the best chocolate chip cookie recipe ever!! The cookies are very chewy on the inside and the sweetness is just right. Hope a lot more people could discover and try this amazing recipe!
Just a tip for anyone trying this at home. If you’re using salted butter, you might want to go easy on the salt later on. Your cookie will become salty and you won’t know how to fix it and then you will lose motivation and then you will end up eating peanut butter on bread.
These are some of the best cookies I’ve ever made!! I added a bit of clove (something I do with all of my cookies) and it really took them next level. Thank you for this!!!
What kind of “chocolate Bar” do you use to chop ‘chunks’ instead of using traditional chocolate chips in your ‘Brown Butter Chocolate Chunk’ cookies?
Oh My Good!!! Right now is 11 pm o”clock and I’m seriously thinking about making these delicious cookies right now hahahaha I can’t wait to try them!!!! thanks a lot for all your recipes!!!!
actually does it have any difference if i only added in among baking powder/soda?
Would this be a great base for snicker doodles too? Curious lol cus I would love to use this as a base for snickerdoodles
As soon as I hit send on my comment I heard you say add baking soda I missed this step.
It looks so delicious and so pretty! I will go make it right now!!!
i’ve been wanting to try this recipe out and i wanna know, is it just the right amount of sweetness or do i need to lessen the sugar?
Love anything with brown butter.
So making this.
Thankyou for sharing this wonderful recipe.
Im doing KETO but the next time i take a day off i am making these cookies… lets take care of each other… lets respect each other and enjoy some amazing looking cookies
We use this browned butter or clarified butter extensively in all yummy Indian cuisines and we call it Ghee. It’s usually available in Costco.
Best cookies ever..it’s a total win..chunky,crunchy edges, gooey centre..followed the recipe to T and mind blowing it was..shared ur recipe to almost 10 -15 ppl…can’t wait to try all of ur recipes finally a YouTube Channel whom I can trust blindly
This looks great. Can’t wait to try it. I burnt my first batch of butter and found your video so I won’t fail again!
Can I ask why the cornstarch? I’ve never seen it anywhere else.
Is this a crispy cookie or a chewy type?
Can I reduce the sugar? I feel American recipes are too sweet. There’s a total of 340g of sugar in this. Would it affect the recipe if I reduced by 25%?
You don’t have to add baking powder or cornstarch. But a very good recipe otherwise
Brown butter is the only way to make cookies! It’s my favorite!
Oh my god i made this recipe it’s super delicious, Thank you beautiful
I don’t have any corn starch on hand for this recipe, can I omit it or is their something else I can substitute it with? Thanks!
My cookies didn’t flatten… i measured exactly as per the recipe. What did I do wrong? BUT it is soooo good!!! Maybe its ok to leave it exactly the way it is!
I first measured the ingredients using cups and then noticed that you put the weight in grams. I remeasured using grams and the measurements are totally different! Big difference! Which should I follow? I will follow grams now since I already browned my butter. Crossing my fingers.
Lord why am I looking at them delicious looking cookies at 10:30 pm.. ♀️ now I gotta go to the grocery store in the morning to get chocolate chips and pecans.. gotta have it!!!!
What the hell is an ounce? lol. Americans don’t know it’s only them and 3 African villages that don’t use the metric system.
Yuuummmm!! Definitely going to make this for our Eid celebration.. But quick question, can i substitute the butterscotch with choc chips? As a bit challenging at this part of the world to find butterscotch:))
The brown butter smells so good, I’m going to use brown butter for everything now. I’m going to put browned butter in my cereal tomorrow morning!
I made these yesterday and they were gone in less than a day. Everyone loved them especially my mom, she had them for breakfast the next morning lol.
Is there a way to make it with less sugar, but maintain the chewiness?
Great recipe, just a question on baking soda and baking powder, what is the reason for adding both?
Oh my goodness!!!! I made your cookies and they were delicious!!!! They were a hit for my family and friends. These cookies are a taste of heaven! Thank you! I’m looking forward to other recipes you will share.
This recipe is perfect! Appreciate the added notes and tips for browning butter as it was my first time. They are so good and can’t wait to share them
I made it it’s an amazing recipe only thing I found was that 30 minutes was to long I baked for about 20 minutes and it was amazing
For the ghirreldi’s chocolate bar do you use dark chocolate or semi sweet chocolate?
I must have done something wrong because mine didn’t turn out well at all. My cookies stayed the shape of a puffy round ball and didn’t flatten at all. So I tried flattening them first before baking but then they came out hard as rock! Measured everything, not sure what went wrong! I took the cookies out when they were just lightly browned
Can you please tell me whether it’s ok to use salted butter coz it’s difficult to find unsalted version where I am and i can’t wait to make this
It’s not hyperbole when I say these are the best chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever had. Even my son, who is in culinary school, said the same! The browned butter, chunked chocolate bars (we used an XL Hershey bar), and sea salt send them over the top. We also love how they stay thick and moist after baking…just heavenly delicious!
Update: Mom and grandma agree!! ✅✅✅✅
Gurl! Why couldn’t you live close by me for Thanksgiving?♀️
Do you Fed Ex?♀️
How does this recipe compare to your “worst chocolate chip cookies” recipe? Which is better? They both look great!
Very good recipe. I made dough last weekend and baked them this morning ( for this weekend) no I didnt add salt!
I made these a few months ago and they were fantastic but this time it was different. Did you change how much flour to add to the recipe? Is it 2 cups and 3/4 cup or (2) 3/4 cup?
Can I add nuts in this recipe? Will nuts can affect the chewiness of the cookies?
I am going to make the “worst” chocolate chip cookies BUT with browned butter and chopped chocolate and see how it goes
Can i just use brown sugar and skip the white? I dont like cookies that are too swee.. will there be any difference with the texture of the cookies after baking? Will going to try your recipe soon. Thanks
Not sure if you still read these comments, but I’m wanting to make your cookie recipe with Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bar with Mini M&Ms and Almond Slivers (that whole thing is the title of the bar) along with semisweet chocolate chips.. Should I adjust the sugar in the recipe to compensate?
Your subscriber count deserves at least two more zeroes. Thanks for sharing ALL of your fantastic recipes!
if i were to put walnuts, how much would you recommend to add? thanks in advance!
Just made these and they turned out great! My first batch I left in a little longer so they were a bit crispier but the second batch I took out earlier and they’re so soft and melty! This recipe was so simple but delicious!
She stole the recipe from Tasty’s 2 minute, 2 hour, and 2 day cookies!
Hi cookies look yummy going to try your recipe right now.. this is the first time of hearing of browning butter fir cookies…awesome thanks for sharing
Hi! Can we omit the cornstarch and is it ok to use self-raising flour?
Going to try!!! Thank you!!! What chocolate bars did you use????
I want to know why my cookies brown so much. I baked them for both 375 for 11 mins and 350 for 13 mins but it still looks brown
These look amazing! Brown butter is one of my favorite ingredients. Your videos and recipes are awesome! Thanks so much!
Thank you for your Chocolate Chunk Cookie recipe!
Question:
Low-carb or Vegan alternative ingredients. Have you made this same recipe with a low-carb or Vegan emphasis in order to deliver the same taste but with dietary considerations?
Alternative options would be like an egg replacement, almond flour or oil instead of butter. Thanks.
What happens if you cook the butter a little longer and still use it for the batter?
What happens when you don’t add baking soda to the cookie batter??
Excellent browned butter tutorial(: got it on the first try!
Hi,i love ur recipe, the cookies look so delicious..but can i make it in small/mini?whether it can affect the results later?
I just made these. Taking a baking journey and starting out these types of recipes are wonderful… as are the cookies this recipe produced! Just amazing! Thank you Sam!
As a tip, after making the dough and before chilling, roll the dough out into a log so that you can just cut off 2 tablespoons before rolling it into a ball for baking. This is MUCH easier than trying to dig it out of a big, cold, hard dough ball thats been chilling for 2 days.
Hi Sam: I had to tell you again how fantastic this recipe is… really easy to make as well… I browned the butter because I enjoy doing it…seriously fry’s had a sale a couple of weeks ago on Land Of Lakes butter….I bought ten lbs to put in the freezer…, just as you mentioned you can put the cookie dough in the frig a day or two…even more…I just baked a batch I’d had in frig four days and they are just delicious….I took some of the dough out before adding the chocolate because I just love the browned butter….you have such talent!…Seriously appreciate that you go out of your way to make recipes as uncomplicated as possible with losing any quality….this is the BEST chocolate chip ever flavor…texture…this cookie has it all..
Y’all these are NO JOKE. I just made them and I have NEVER eaten a better cookie. I’m not even kidding. Everyone who has tried them is so shocked I made them from scratch and they aren’t from a bakery. Also, I was nervous about putting the sea salt on top but it is the PERFECT balance. Wow.
Why do you put cornstarch? Just wondering. And why my cookies spread too much? Thanks, love the recipe
