In a small saucepan, combine quinoa and milk. Heat over low heat until just simmering. Stir in peanut butter and remove from heat.
Then pour into a bowl.In a medium saucepan combine the water and quinoa. Bring to boiling; reduce heat to medium-low.
Cook, covered, for 10 to 15 minutes or until water is.Add quinoa and 2 cups of water to a saucepan on high heat, cover and bring to a boil. Turn heat to low and cook for 12-15 minutes or until quinoa opens and is light and fluffy.
Mash in half the banana, honey, peanut butter, salt and almond milk. Stir until it reaches desired yummy consistency.Instructions Place cooked quinoa in bowl and sprinkle cinnamon and vanilla on top.
Combine and then add slide banana, yogurt and berries. Add the granola and top with peanut butter and then add milk.In a small bowl, add in the peanut butter and heat in the microwave for about 30 seconds or until it is a liquid consistency. Add in the maple syrup and soy sauce and evenly mix.
Step 10 Combine the quinoa, cauliflower, tempeh, beans, edamame, and carrots in a bowl and top with the peanut sauce.Place quinoa, water and coconut milk in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer, cover and cook until liquid is absorbed and germ has spiraled out, about 15-20 mins. To make the peanut butter sauce, simply whisk together peanut butter, coconut oil and maple syrup.
In a small sauce pan (or microwave) heat the almond milk.Beat together peanut butter, syrup, banana and vanilla in a large bowl. Add flax egg and mix to combine. Pour in oats, quinoa flakes, baking powder, cinnamon and salt to the bowl and stir together. Drop 2 tablespoons of dough onto the baking sheet and repeat until no dough remains.
Instructions Cook the quinoa in the broth according to package instructions. Whisk together the oil, peanut butter, vinegar, honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger in a large bowl.Combine the quinoa and soy milk over medium-low heat. Cover and cook for 15 minutes or until quinoa is done, stirring frequently.
While the quinoa is still hot, stir in peanut butter, cocoa, and sweetener. Makes one generous serving.1 tbsp chia seeds. 2 pitted dates, chopped. 2 tbsp chopped almonds.
Preparation. 1. To a medium saucepan on medium-high, add quinoa and almond milk. Bring to a boil and swirl in peanut butter. Cover and reduce heat to low. Cook for 13 to.
Instructions In a medium bowl add cooked quinoa and coconut milk until desired consistency is reached. Warm in microwave for about 45 seconds or so. Put 2 tbsp peanut butter in another small bowl and warm in the microwave for about 20 seconds.

Loaded Quinoa Breakfast Bowl.Directions. In a large bowl, combine the first eight ingredients. Spoon into a greased 9-in. square baking pan.
Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 40-45 minutes.

omg this is soooo good I used canned coconut milk and regular almond milk together. I’m eating the whole pot (makes 1.5 cups cooked quinoa from 1/2 cup uncooked for anyone wondering) which is perfect for someone trying to gain weight like myself thanks for the recipe!

I know im probably going to get heat for this, but Im like 95% vegan. I don’t buy meat, eggs, cows milk, traditional butter at the grocery store nor do I cook with them at home. I eat strictly plant based at home.
However, im a foodie at heart and there are some things you just can’t recreate vegan. Also im in a ‘food desert’ where most of the restaurants are fast food and country spots . But I think making more plant based meals just in general, is a wonderful thing! If every person ate one more plant based meal a week, itd make such a difference! So I think people who are making the effort, even though they may not be absolutely 100% vegan all the time, are still helping the cause!

You can also try oatmeal pancake..Very delicious..Just add mash banana 2 eggs and some butter..But 1st you need to grind your oats using blender or food processesor to make it fine like flour not so fine grain is ok..It taste really good no need to add sugar in it..You can also add baking powder to make it more pluffy.

Did you know that almond farmers truck in bees from Idaho to pollinate their trees? Yes, they do. I am from Idaho and I’ve talked to two large scale beekeepers about their bees and how they are shipped. There would not be the plethora of almonds on the market if not for the bees!

I’m a new subscriber and just wondering how come you don’t wash your quinoa before cooking. Is it a special kind of quinoa? Mine tends to have a bitter taste if I don’t wash it first.
Wow, some of those savoury oatmeal dishes seem like typical rice porridge, just that rice is replaced by oats. Since I find oats to be simpler and quicker to cook than rice, I’ll definitely try these recipes! Thanks for the inspiration.
The savory one sound delicious! I sometimes make a very simple savory oatmeal dish with olive oil, salt, pepper and parmesan cheese.
I also make veggie oatmeal burgers using dry oats! I make a thick mash of any veggie or mix of veggies either cook and mash them with a fork or put raw veggies in a food processor and mash them that way (I usually use eggplant and I cook it in the microwave). You should have about 1&1/2 cups of veggie mash to that you add 1&1/2 cups of dry rolled oats and to that you add spices to taste. I typically add a little bit of garlic and onion powder and about a teaspoon of soy sauce. Wait 10 mins to allow the oats to absorb some of the moisture from the veggies make sure your mix is not too dry or too wet otherwise the burgers won’t hold together (add a little water if too dry and more oats if too wet). Form the burgers this recipe should make about 4 or 5 burgers depending on the size you make them. You can bake them, but I like to flip them in a skillet because the outer surface gets a little crusty. Let them cool a bit before eating. I like to put them in a bun and add a little A1 steak sauce on top. You can also freeze the burgers.

I like quickcook instant oatmeal… gives a smoother texture. My basic savory meal is just 3 items:
instant oatmeal
white pepper (lots of it)
Maggi seasoning soy sauce (square bottle)
I can top with sliced sausage/meatloaf/fried dpam or add seafood like scallops and mussels and squid and a then some cilantro. Just so many good choices.
can I eat that 2xday? or is it too much quinoa I one day. is there a such thing as eating too much of it? im on a raw n broth diet and IM STARVING Lol. eating theses type dishes is new to me.
I have tried every single one of these, and they’re all delicious!! The mushroom & corn/scallion savory oatmeals work w/o the goat cheese and the fried egg, respectively, but the mushroom oatmeal in particular is significantly improved with that topping

Ugh I can’t stand eating sweet food when I’m actually hungry. It’s so much easier to make a soup rather than a smoothie imo.
Healthy oatmealone cup oatmeal, two cups water. Bring to a boil and simmer till cooked. Pour into a bowl, when set (i.e. firmed up) pour a little milk around the side, sprinkle on al little salt and add a good grind of black pepper. A savoury alternative which is my favourite.

I also put the ingredients into Cronometer (scaling the recipes to one serve), and it adds up to 1120 calories… so plenty of room left for some healthy snacks. I’ll also add some tofu to the pad thai for extra protein. For those that are interested, the macros for this day (per the recipes provided) are as follows:
Protein 45.8g
Carbs 140.1
Fat 28.2g

Ive always had steamed broccoli stems as a snack ever since you mentioned in another video, that broccoli stems are edible. But I never thought of putting them in smoothies. A few years ago there was a big commotion when companies like blue diamond and almond breeze were discovered to have actually little to no almond in them! Hi Caitlin. My cousin is in her junior year of college and is trying to get down to a healthy weight. I’ve been suggesting she go vegan but its hard for her because she’s allergic to soy, nuts, and even some fruits. I make a big batch of smoothies, blend them, then freeze them in jars. Put in the fridge before bed the night before, and give a shake in the morning before enjoying. Just make sure to leave room at top of jar so it doesn’t explode.
I usually freeze broccoli stems and when I have enough, I make soup

I wish I could drink even more green smoothies…but I find a lot of the raw veggies rough on my tummy, especially raw broccoli. I have to use more gentle veggies in smoothies like spinach, baby kale or mixed greens. Another gorgeous video!

Could you substitute a different flavor of milk in this recipe? I’m not the biggest fan of coconut lol I’ve never liked the taste of coconut water so I don’t think I would like coconut milk but I want to try this recipe someday!
These recipes look great! However I’m confused about the pho comment. Miso is Japanese, usually containing only was in the pack, pho is Vietnamese made with bone broth and contains none of the same ingredients shown here.

I’m not a fan of the mushroom dish because I hate mushrooms, but I have to admit, these are some really interesting dishes. I’m really intrigued by the carrot cake dish and chocolate dish. Totally going to try these! Love the tip on the frozen cherries too!

I like to mix meatless meatballs, sautéed red onion, tomato sauce and nutritional yeast. Then I pour it on top of quinoa! Going to try that oatmeal! I always look forward to your vegan meals!

So have yet to read a comment that says “tried it and it works.” Cause mine didn’t. When I put it to simmer on low and covered it, I walked away for just a few minutes and half the liquid had poured out. Epic fail and was looking forward to it. Will look at other videos. Btw, this doesn’t happen to me with oatmeal or other quinoa recipes. Wonder what went wrong.

I like to have a bowl of hot Oat Meal with extras 5 out of 7 days a week. In a big bowl I mix 2 cups of each, Quick oats, Steel Cut Oats, 12-grain cereal, bran, ground flax, hearts of hemp, millet, & dried cranberries. I fill a 6-liter bucket, put that in the frig, bag the rest & put in the freezer. I have 1/2 cup on those 5 out of 7!! My cholesterol levels are right on. Even better than expected for being 63 years young!! My doctor is happy!! Having oatmeal in a persons diet is a step in the right direction!! Great Video!! Keep Up The Great Job!!
I like the idea of quinoa porridge…but cooking blueberries for over 20 minutes? How many vitamins are left after 20 minutes of cooking?

The last two quinoa bowls looked almost like oatmeal! They actually looked really good!
I tried out a new flavor with apples: quinoa, apple cider, small slices of one apple, and a little bit of cinnamon. I put a full cup of apple cider and it made the quinoa pretty sticky, maybe adding some water will help. I put it on the stove for about 15 min. And let it cool for 5. At the end I put a serving of applesauce on top.

Quinua is from Perú and we actually have always have quinua as a breakfast, the lunch ideas are so perfect, I’ve tried a couple of them and my family loved it!!.. Sincé Quinua became famous in different countries a few years ago, we started experimenting with it in different ways and actually lunch with quinua is perfect!! You can also blend quinua with your favourite fruit, banana for example and some honey… it makes a wonderful mid morning snack for kids and babies because it’s so nutricious! My son loves plain quinua with milk and some drops of vainilla extract as a breakfast!
I thought you were promoting a vegan diet. Showing in YouTube with that many YouTubers that is “fine” to eat eggs implies so much pain and cruelty to animals. This is not a diet. This is about lifes that are taken away because of our taste buds. With love.
