Milk IS bad for you..Though if you have it occasionally it normally won’t cause problems. A way to know is to totally cut out milk and other dairy for a month then see what happens to your body and how you feel.

Skinny, cut and veiny arms and I could eat a horse. Only NO SUGAR and very little cheese once in a while. Once you quit sugar, you’re body and your brain no longer want it.

I’m not a vegan but diabetic and took a chance at buying the unsweetened ripple. To my amazement taste like milk. 8 grams of protein. No sugar and creamy. I could never get past the taste of all the other alternatives to milk. I saw the chocolate ripple but still has sugar so I wouldn’t buy it

here’s several suggestions for giving up drinking quickly
Try eating food while you are drinking this cuts down the amount you drink.
Take a break from alcohol.
Make a note of how much you drink, then you know if you are cutting down.
Set yourself goals don’t make them too difficult at first.
Choose one or two days or each week when you will not drink at all. Then, try to stop drinking for one week per month.

My daughter is allergic to dairy and soy. There are alternative milks with added protein (pea protein -ripple and silk almond protein milk). We use those and keep a really rich and varied diet as well as giving a multivitamin.
Every Race needs to eat and drink as per body uniqueness. We all have oposing acidic liquids for digestion.
I’ve been using Ripplemilk for quite some time now. From my experience it has been one of the best alternatives. I haven’t had any dairy for almost a year now; yeah I don’t miss it one bit!
Lies!!!! The plain one totally tastes like pea protein. Tastes like a vegan protein powder is in there. The vanilla one is ok, the chocolate one is the best! I only buy the plain one to use it for baking and such because I can taste the pea protein the most in it and it’s not a super pleasant taste on its own. Maybe someone with a bad taster couldn’t taste it but if you have an advantage palate you will. I’m going to make ice cream with it because it’s creamy enough. Will be interesting to put it to the test!
I’ve been drinking almond milk for 12 years now and love it but learned that there are only about 3 almonds in 8 ounces and it takes 1.5 gallons of water to grow one almond. That’s rediculous. I need to switch.
I used to get so much gas from a glass of milk. I just said f it and drank a liter a day for couple weeks. It was so bad being on the toilet every hour just for gas. But took a short break and drank milk again. No gas ever since

I think it depends on the person. I never had acne until after 6 years of Veganism, zero dairy, then I suddenly had all sorts of skin problems. Left veganism but still didn’t go back to milk and the majority of acne/dermatitis and redness went away but remained hormonal once a month. Then I cut out processed food and sugar, added back dairy and all acne and other skin issues disappeared. Definitely not a dairy problem in my particular case. My descent is Northen European though and I’m sure my ancestors were used to drinking it.

I’m part Asian. Milk and dairy products I can’t have due to colon problems. Is NON-Dairy products is helpful for muscle mass?
My only problem with soy or almond, cashew, coconut milk was the carrageenan they used to add. Carrageenan would tear up my stomach bad and give me instant diarrhea. Carrageenan messed up my gut flora so bad I became lactose and gluten intolerant for a year due to excessive inflammation in my bowels.
But I know Silk and a few other brands no longer add carrageenan so now I can consume it, no problem.
Carrageenan is hiding in many fast food items, usually ice cream that I have to be careful of.
‘Calcium in dairy milk is naturally occurring while that in other is added’ sure yeah why not say that the whole concept of humans drinking milk of it’s own kind after infancy is unnatural too let alone of another animal.

I’ve been drinking raw cow milk that was not processed and boiled in any way for 15 years now, and it is the best tasting milk you can get. To those who say negatively about it, I’ve never had any issue with it and was the tallest guy in high school, never broke a single bone even though bones took so many painful hits. Before I start watching this I will assume this video will discredit the health benefits of soya and almond drink and have a heavy bias towards cow milk. Cow’s milk has a protein in it that, when consumed constantly in our diet, facilitates entry of carcinogens into human cells and promotes their cancer-promoting effect in them according to the research done by Dr. T Collin Campbell, author of the famous book called “The China Study”.
Ok, now, after watching the entire video I felt compelled to share what the findings are of Dr. Campbell in his research. In the book he wrote, which I mentioned above, when the American conglomeration of food and pharmaceutical corporations and lobby groups was trying to block his work from reaching public attention, he was informed by scientists in India of their findings that lab rats administered more than 5% animal protein, tumors starts to grow on them and when lowered to 5% or less, the tumors shrinks and eventually disappears. This findings led them to believe that animal protein has something to do with cancer growth in human body. Dr. Campbell maintained an open mind, and had asked for more funding back in USA to study this nutritional phenomenon further but failed to acquire it. It was blocked by the lobby groups who have strong ties with US governement. This is a good opportunity to mention that Dr. Campbell, a person of cattle farming background himself, said that high protein diet is detrimental to human health. That is the reason why plant foods have low protein content in them. He also recommends a whole-food, plant-based diet because he believes, based on his reasearch, that isolating certain nutrients from food do more harm than good to human health. Would you trust a gypsy looking woman or a person of scienific background?

I love that people still are an advocate for milk. It has been shown that most positive results are from dairy funded research so even if you do meta analysis it will just point to the same conclusion as their research outnumber the ones who do not agree with their findings. That said, it is clearly that people are trying to vilify a food group. No milk is not as bad as vegans think, but no it is aint as good as carnivores think. The problem with milk and their derived product cheese is we eat range from 30 to 70 lbs per year. That is way too much since dairy products are in lots of more products. As with many things related to nutrient it is not the food type but the amount we consume. The conclusions of the research papers are really biased as there is never a down side.

I once fought a man over milk… I was returning back college to visit my friends. and all was going well. My friend and I drove up to another friends house and immediately as a joke asked for their gallon of milk. We drank about two glasses worth and it was pretty funny. we all decided to go to mcdonalds when my friend and I stole a gallon of milk out of my friends fridge. Which for us, was hilarious. we got into the car and flashed the gallon to my friends vehicle telling them we stole their milk, and all of them laughed… but one. We went to park after mcdonalds after laughing for a few minutes about milk, when my friend started swinging on us telling us ” quit it with the milk dog”. We are rather larger than him so we played along and was pushing him around chanting ” enjoy our milk brother” when he started getting genuinely upset over milk. we argued for hours at midnight in a park over what we were doing. That night I lost a friend. and he vowed never to drink milk again. But I know that we were victorious because when he checks his fridge tomorrow morning for breakfast, he’ll be greeted by a gallon of sweet, protein filled, and calcium rich milk

I have lactose intolerance but I find this helpful, when ever I need to go I just drink a few cups of milk and I feel like a soft serve ice cream machine. I love milk but I dont drink it at work only at home.

I think it’s silly to try to stop others using certain words. Vegan milk is called milk because it is used in place of cow’s milk for cereal, baked goods, smoothies in the exact same manner. The nutritious content is a different thing and consumers normally choose the one that fits their needs, for example, “snacks” can include a wide range of products from toxic (sugary, trans-fat laden cookies) to very healthy (nuts, seeds, kale chips) ones, so preserving certain words/terms just for one particular kind of product is not right.
I have no problem with almond milk not containing much protein because we can get enough protein from other foods like beans, so the fact that almond milk tastes the best in my opinion, I’ll continue using it in my cereal, soups and baking:)

Almond milk is the biggest fraud. It contains 2% or less of almonds per serving and is so absent of nutrition that it must be fortified. In addition almond farming is far from green. The amount of water it takes to grow almonds is tremendous. To take a beautiful nut like an almond, pulverize the living shit out of it and make almond juice/ tea out of it is a pure crying shame. Drink what you like, but we need to stop calling fake milk “milk”. A nut, a lm oat, a soybean cannot be milked!!
