So kind of you. Very great information. Thanks for sharing. God bless.
Still eating peas! Bought roasted chicken the other day. Eating with penne, spinach, lemon, and parsley/garlic/cilantro/kalamata olive/red wine vinegar sauce I’ve been making a lot! Delicious!
Were you wearing green because you are telling about peas??
lathyrus Sativus, or toxic “Indian peas” are very nutritional, yet contain a neuro-degenerative toxin that is eaten as a staple in some regions. It’s a killer and destroys the nervous system, but it’s cheap, and the poor eat it. Don’t eat those peas.
Thank you for being a human and not a robot narrator. You are making the world a better place as a disseminator of health news.
I love chilled raw green peas, they nasty tasting cooked tho. eww
Thank you for the information you gave, it answered my questions on the goodness of peas.
I ran out of spinach and other things I normally put in my smoothies. but I want to be healthy and do some raw veggie/ fruit smoothie so I thought screw it… I’ll use what I have it’ll be edible or it won’t. I put in a couple handfuls of raw frozen peas with a winter mix (also questionable) some raw frozen fruit mix for smoothies and a banana. it’s a little thicker than normal and a little deeper flavor but I could drink it. Just wanted to know how healthy it is. Hey pretty healthy. So I’m going outside my box a little and all in all… not bad. B4 you turn your nose up at the weird concoction I’ve definitely drank MUCH worse in the name of health from things we are supposed to consume that way. And probably this is healthier than some disgusting flavored powder drink from an overpriced marketer anyway. Compare this to a protein powder (which you can’t make taste good no matter what you do to it in my opinion)… which by the way is very likely to shorten your tolemeres whereas peas are anti aging.
I love peas. Every kind. I love boiling edamme in their pods then sprinkle rock salt and chilli flakes on them and then popping them in my mouth. Great snack. Great video!
In Kenya these ain’t considered food… Well for humans. Probably livestock. If i told my mum to cook these she’d think i was high

Just thought I’d mention a little tip. Adding a little fenugreek powder and a little asafoetida to your lentil curry will eliminate the ‘gas’ problem. Thank you for your article. It is very helpful.

Peas and chickpeas are my jam since I’ve gone whole plant based.
It’s amazing but I haven’t heard of a lot of these nutrients. I knew peas had high protein and obviously some chlorophyll and fiber but had no idea they were anti aging or so good for you in other ways. yay peas.

I have been drinking P protein shakes and I am getting constipated. I also avoid all dairy so I use almond milk. I also put in a banana. Is the banana constipating me or is the fiber Constipated then or both? Can anybody give me some answers please?
