First 4 min of taking about stuff that is not related to the video
How does it compare to the Gurugrid Yoga Mat? I wonder which one to get
it’s really offensive that they put “om” on the mat. We don’t touch it with feet.
Just wondering what your recommendations are for cleaning? And how often?
Not cheap??I bought the same:Aliexpress shop online 12,15 euros shipping free, seller:Wild Hub Store.Your mat is surely and definitely made in China.Ecological and 100%recyclable,yes guys.Stop recommending companies making abusive business practices, please!Real Yoga and yogi doesn’t match with business and making money.Cheers!
hi Liforme, I have just bought the liforme travel mat. unfortunately I’m not in love with it as i expected, maybe u could offer some advice? I have 3 main issues with it:
1. while it’s meant to be thin I don’t find the material supportive at all, in fact it’s painful for my knees and I’ve never experienced this with any other yoga mat before. I’ve tried this on top of another mat but it doesn’t lie flat, it sort of ‘ripples’ on top.
2. the alignment cues seem to be for taller people I suspect. I have been practising for a few years so flexibility isn’t an issue, but using the alignment cues make me too far stretched, to the point of losing balance
3. while the mat is very grippy as it should be, I find it hard to transition between yoga poses, getting ‘stuck’ rather than being able to move easily. also because of this I’m unable to get deeper in poses e.g. in king pigeon, I get stuck rather than being able to shift slightly to get more comfortable / deeper.
please could you help as I’ve been looking forward to this mat for so long and now I’m just so disappointed. if I don’t get to use it, because of the knee pain, it will just be a waste:(
The mat itself does absorb a lot of water and helps during hot yoga. The mat becomes minimally slippery during heavy sweating. Awesome mat and good bag too, solid construction!
hi… how to clean liforme yoga mat? i already use it for a year and only wiped it.but it become little slippery lately. can i soak it in tub with shampoo and water? please give suggestions.thx.
I’ve just discovered your channel and I am already obsessed:) I was looking for a new yoga mat and after watching your different reviews, I can’t decide between the Yoga Design Lab and the Liforme Yoga mat. I live in the south of France where it gets really hot in the summer (I can sweat a lot), and since I practice Yoga everyday, I was wondering if you could help me choose. Thank you very much!
Bought from 3 different sites, favorite from Yogarian (Yogarian Yoga Mats on Google), not expensive but extreme quality
So glad to see a new review video. Please bring back the monthly favorite
How about the the grip while dry? I live in a dry climate and sometimes my hands are dry as a sheet of paper and some mats slip under my hands.

What would you recommend to use for cleaning this specific mat?
How does this compare to the Liforme mat? Which one has better traction (my hands get sweaty)? Overall quality?
it looks so smooth! i have a codependent relationshp to my jade mat. bought a manduka eko and while it was nice, for hot yoga i didn’t feel as confident in my poses and really found myself missing the jade. does it REALLY have as much traction as the jade?
Thanks you so much for this video, was looking for a great mat for Christmas and can’t wait to get this one, just ordered. I love the fact that it will help me align my poses for a safer practice:D
Hi Brett, great video. Please let me know if this mat has a strong rubber smell and if, so what did you do to get rid of it and how long did it take for the smell to finally dissipate? Please let me know as I would like to buy this mat, but it is so expensive, that I don’t want to be stuck with a smelly mat. I just returned the Lululemon 5mm Reversable Mat, (which was great for its “grippyness”), because even after cleaning it with baking soda and water for a week (as suggested by Lulu), the rubber smell would not dissipate and it was so bad, that I was about to puke on it in my yoga class. Even my yoga classmate next to me could smell it. It was so embarassing. Please reply back in full. Thanks in advance.
Just got the mat and when I get my sweat on the mat I slip. Is there away to make it less slippery? I got the middle priced mat.
Ah that’s what those lines & dots for? Lol I thought they were just decorations. Thanks for the explanation Nina. Awesome video again! One day I will win one of those amazing mat!
I just got my mat and when I was trying to open it, it got oil marks from my skin, I almost cried, I just cleaned it and waiting for it to dry. I will never moisturise my skin before yoga. thank you for sharing the tips I was looking for that <3
Reminder to check on my breathing and alignment all in one mat:) This is indeed a great mat to bring the practice to the next level! Thank U for the review!!
how do you clean this mat? and what are the cons? good cushioning? you didn’t mention about it. thanks!
Getting these mats out there such a great mat to have its an investment!
“in 2019, this list helped me decide for the best yoga mat scafe.shop/tbym2019?e6 hope it helps you out too!”
Any who’s been using this for 1-2+ years? I read its only good for 300-500 practices. How does it hold up after a while of using. For its price I would hope itd last longer
Do you have a Facebook or Instagram or email, do you take requests or offer online sessions?
Thanks, even with the verbal diarrhea that doubles the run time.
Hi, Brett! Thank you for your great review! Is it possible that you try and give your opinion about some other products? I am interested in BYoga mat, LiquidBalance Yoga Mat, Alo warrior mat, affirmats. I am having Jade Harmony but I really need a one more mat for change. And one more question about Liforme I’ve heard that it becomes slippery after a year of use or sooner what was your experience?
Great video. Not sure if you’ve noticed but you’ve got some shells in your hair.
I am sooo in love with this matt. ♥ I am so looking forward to doing yoga with this matt. Thank you sooo much for this review short and soo helpful! And I wanna aks do you have a travel version or not and if the bag is included in both versions or not?:D Thank you again you are the best.
Sounds like my dream mat! Thankyou so much for reviewing!! Since it absorbs liquid so fast, do you think that maybe it absorbs bacteria that way too? Hopefully not.
I bought this mat recently and it is worth every penny. I had a cheap Gaiam yoga mat and began slipping, causing my wrists to hurt while trying to transition from several poses to others. That worried me, so I asked several instructors which mat I should buy. Several had only Manduka and liked it, but one had both Manduka and Liforme and recommended Liforme because she started slipping on the Manduka and decided to switch to Liforme. After using this mat, my wrists barely hurt and I grip the mat very easily. As for any odor, it had a very faint/hard-to-tell smell to it when my face was on it during a practice. I did notice my sweat was being absorbed almost instantly because I tried to wipe it off, but some was already absorbed into the mat. This is probably what helps keep me from slipping though, which I don’t mind. Overall, I like my new investment.
Can you talk about the grip of the lifrome mat and also if you ever experienced any slipping, thanks
Hi!!Thanks for the video, there’s barely no info about the guide lines of these mats…I wonder what the dots nextto the shorter lines are for…It was clear on your video the 45º lines and the central line, but would you be so kind to show us or just give us a quick reply about what poses are the other lines for, please????:) Thanks and Namaste
