Garlic is poisonous. I thought I m lowering my cholesterol with raw garlic, chop or soak with hot water, but I got uneasy feeling in my bladder. Than I took 21 century garlic pill, my body weakened heat, coughing, dehidrate, and bloated. I took half of pills than I feel better, nothing changes noticably, only farts that’s all. Then I watched videos garlic was poisonous.

Seriously, thank for the information. I’m using it to select my produce, prep methods (crushing etc…), and cooking times (or raw.) Is there one table that shows recommendations on one place for the say, 25, most common vegetables or fruits…one of your books perhaps.

Vitamin C does NOT do anything for colds, that’s a myth, look up the REAL science about it. All it does is prevent scurvy which unless you’re out at sea with no plants or spices at all should not be a problem.

I tried making roast garlic crushed with olive oil. It was very mild. I then added a little raw garlic and it became really strong!
I’m eating mine raw rn with veggies and rice its good and has good Crunch. but im eating the long Green one raw and some cooked.
Why not just crush the garlic, put the pulp in an empty capsule, and then swallow? Would that work?

So the take aways from this video is to eat garlic and onion raw rather than cooked (which is essentially the only way I currently consume both today)? Or I can add some of the minced garlic juice back into my soup? Are those correct? Yikes. I guess I will be making garlic hummus more often going forward…and carrying toothbrush and toothpaste with me everywhere I go.

I like onions, I eat them around 3-5 times per week but your information about fibre is actually incorrect. Fibre does not help with digestive regularity, it has recently been proven that a person with a high fibre diet is likely to shit 1-2 times per day at random times and experience constipation at a higher rate than a protein rich diet.
I’m not trying to suggest that you should stop eating fibre as it is harmless, almost totally indigestable due to a change in the human digestion system that occurred millions of years ago when our ancestors left the trees and began to hunt and forage for food that requires enzymes other than cellulase to metabolize.

Not sure if all garlic lovers know this, but I hate peeling the skin off garlic, learned on you tube, put garlic bulbs in a pot, cover with lid and shake like crazy, all garlic peeled and separated!!! also, I chop chop or grind in coffee grinder, put in jar, cover with olive oil and refrigerate.. at my fingertips!! love it. the oil preserves the garlic.
