They taste amazing. I’ve been sugar free for two weeks. Thank you both for all your tips!
add chicken breast to these and dynamite chicken and waffles
Sure is right. even i was very sad since i workout well for abs but nothing was coming. Between I saw an interview with body building champion where he talks about 7 odd foods he eats to keep his abs hard. worth watch here now bit.ly/12dCkKE?=whmhg
What setting is the pan on? Low? Medium-low? I tried making these and messed them up. Was following someone else’s recipe. I will try yours!
Great video! But i have a question: did you ever tried to make pancakes with this mix? i have been trying to do eggless oatmeal pancakes and i fail everytime because the oatmeal flour starts to cook and stays always with a sticky consistency… The waffles look really good!
Thank you so much for sharing, these are exactly what I was looking for.
I’d like to order a pair of pancakes for tomorrow morning please. Thanks. x
Such a wholesome video! Going to check out these waffles next weekend I think! Thanks buddy!
So i made the maths with the ingrediants used and it seems that the whole recipe has around that much macros:
61g protein
7g fats (+the pam spray)
40g carbs (using no-calorie sweetener)
Does this seem right Michael?
This is good. I made it also adding dates, and I drizzled honey and sprinkled cinnamon at the end… boy was it gooood. Amazing!
Truvia is the best.
You are right about Longley Farm, it is scrummy.
What can you use instead of bananas? I wish I liked bananas, but I don’t.
Hey man I was just wondering where you bought your stevia in the raw?
If you want to get ripped, you might want to Google “Oak Muscle Method”. You are certainly get the appearance you deserve.
I don’t blend my oats up very fine at all and there great.
I add an extra egg and use buttermilk,
It also helps to whip the egg whites and then cut them in.
I go to the gym 5 times a week, lifting weights, Saturday and Sunday I go in the mornings, is it best to eat this before I lift or after?
You reallly do not need to add sweetner, you already have:
Vanilla Protein, Banana, Vanilla extract, Vanilla Coconut milk……
Plus you still would drizzle them with Syrup, Honey, Preserves, etc….
Thanks for the Video
I tried this and it was awesome. I did put some butter on it and it was so good. Thanks for sharing!
I am not a fan of this recipe. The carbs are too high. You can take any waffle recipe and add some protein powder to increase the protein. Reducing the carbs is the hard part.
try 1 banana 2 medium eggs mash the banana then mash with your hands then add the eggs beat and make ur pancakes! also it won’t work with other fruits so banana only
Just made these! This is gonna be my new sunday staple thanks!
Don’t know about that cottage cheese but I’ll give them a try.
man you got to have the most optimistic voice I’ve ever heard, great channel!
Just made these and they’re delicious!! but i ate too many!
hey brother how did you find the split nutrition data for each waffle?
Your recipes seem like healthy and tasty ways to add in meals for bulking!
Hey, What other moisturizer other than the Banana would you recommend using? I like bananas but I prefer something more practical since bananas go ripe and rot fast if you don’t use them fast and I don’t like going to the grocery store often, ty ^.^
its fantastic… i dont hv a waffle maker so i made it on a skillet n then in oven for 10mins turned out perfect n totally guilt free
waffles are my favourite and havnt been able to enjoy them until i saw this video thanks!!
Hey there!
Have you considered Aston Muscle Ripper?
Maybe it could help you build lean muscle in a brilliant way and most importantly get you on the right track, for an impressive body as it actually did for tens of thousands of people who used it.
I analyzed this to other sorts of solutions, and Aston Muscle Ripper continue to works significantly better. It is purely awesome! You can get for yourself why, (simply search in Google for “Aston Muscle Ripper”).
Damn dude!! What are you doing to me?? I’ve had 4 of these in the past 12 hours. These are gonna be the end of me!!
I love all of your videos and I’ve loved every recipe if tried so far!!:)
Someone else asked if you can replace the cottage cheese with greek yogurt, so can we?
@Singh Mahendra You and a lot of other people have the same cousin….
How are there only 787 mg of sodium when you use 1/2 tsp of salt?
Thank you Protein Chef, I made these today and I think I have a favorite breakfast.
Of course, with an electric skillet, you could make PROTEIN Banana Nut pancakes. Am I right?
Looks yummy. Two questions though…1. No oil? and 2. Can I use oat flour?
I made these this morning and WOW(!!!), thank you so very much for sharing. I’ve been looking for an EASY & SIMPLE basic gluten free non dairy waffle recipe and this was perfect!
These also travel well and would be great take along carbs for endurance events. Thanks a bunch!
This recipe looks amazing! This may be a dumb question, but what do you do with the leftovers? Freeze them? Defrost in a toaster? Just wondering if anyone has tried that.
Yum, they look amazing! I think I need to buy myself a waffle maker, because protein waffles sounds like heaven..
Can I skip the banana and use cottage cheese instead of that?
Thank you for the delicious recipe.. What developed after Vanilla
Awesome waffles bro, Banana makes everything taste better lol
I entered your giveaway by posting a thread on the MISC, so I didn’t have a way to tag you so I sent you a PM with the thread:)
Crazy, I love cooking and good food and your videos help me combine this with my fitness goals. Thanks for making these and I’ll be watching as long as you do them
Hey Derek. Another primo recipe! What might help other viewers in country’s like NZ, where stevia is super expensive, is to share the ratio of liquid sweeter and extra banana needed when substituting the stevia?
I really like this easy & delicious recipe.Thankyou
These look perfect. I’ve been searching for a recipe that doesn’t use starches. One question though, do you think I can substitute sugar free maple syrup for the honey?
The macros in the description don’t seem right…
Without using the sweetener I got:
Carbs: 32
Fat: 12
Protein: 57
Happy new year and I appreciate all the recipes. Would be great if you could do a Q&A soon
exactly what i wanted! added dark chocolate chips and blueberries!
These looks so good! Is is possible to use the same recipe for pancakes? If not, what changes need to be made?
Great recipe, but definitley not 4,000 grams of protein. I would say about 35 grams
Michael Kory hooks us up again thanks man love these simple healthy recipes.
Holla, have you seen Amos Fat Loss? (check on google) You will find out how to lose weight effeciently.
I don’t know if this is helpful but I did her recipe with 1 cup of oat flour instead of 4 cups of oatmeal and it turned out great! I also do recommend that you add enough water to where it liquid before you put the mixture in your waffle maker because the oat flour dries quickly. Thanks you for the recipe!
Didnt work for me….idk what i did wrong. I used oil to grease waffle maker and both sides got stuck to the maker and the middle was gooey …i used the batter for pancakes though and they came out amazing
Hi, I tried to make this recipe but my waffles turn out to be gooey? Why:( i actually cooked it for 10mins already but notjing changes
OMG thank u Michael! U r awesome this was a very helpful fit breakfast!
2:30 YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH, HODGETWEEEEENS back in the kitchen!

Well i will add eggs cuz im not after the eggless waffles actually.i thought of the idea to make flourless waffles and here u go!oats!

Longley Farm the best cottage cheese by a country mile!!xx
I’m a college student, I love the way you can just wing it and get great results. Great video
I keep seeing things with bananas but I cant have them cause they cause me severe migraines. I wonder if they can be replaced?!
Just made them topped with sour cherries and low fat curd. they were absolutely delicious! I didn’t use any sweetener and they were still sweet enough for me since I don’t like too much sweetness. they were the best waffles I’ve ever eaten!thanks for the recipe!
These are a family staple, thank you so much for a great recipe!!
Made this today man. They got a GAF (chris jones voice) rating. Thanks mike!
Margaret, your waffles look great! I never even thought of making oat flour batter pancakes and waffles, excellent. Thank you!
But why not blend most of the oatmeal into batter and leave some whole for texture, I enjoy eating whole rolled oats.. Even blending some banana in the batter and adding whole raisins, cranberries, or a little grated carrot, in the finished batter as well. Makes me hungry just thinking about it!
Hey Derek! Love these, however I can’t eat the batch in one sitting. How long do the waffles keep in the fridge for? Do recommend making them all at once or make the batter and use as needed. Keep those vids coming. You rock!
I’m going to try this soon using Bee Free Honee. Thanks for the recipe!
Margaret, Thank you for sharing your family recipe. Looks scrumptious! Can’t wait to try them out!
damn everything you make makes it seem so effortless and yummy!
i just tried this recipe for pancakes and they pancakes turned out really soft almost soggy and i didnt use a lot of oil. i think it was uncooked? could it be my frying method? nevertheless, great recipe!!
Megan ewijk -Did you use oats from the bulk section of the health food store or grocery store? Batter shouldn’t be too thin have it on the thick side like cake batter. Make sure the waffle iron is heated up. I hope that helps….xoxo
Thanks so much for sharing this recipe! Its sooo good! I tried them this morning, they tasted really good, but it was very sticky so it didn´t look like a waffle.. Maybe I was doing something wrong? I put some coconut oil on the wafflemaker but it was still sticky, do you have any suggestions to solve that? xx
What could I use in place of the banana since I’m allergic to them? Thanks
Looks great. Is that a non-stick waffle maker? I don’t have a waffle maker but I was reading a discussion on the forks over knives facebook group and people were complaining and acting like it was impossible to make waffles without spraying their waffle makers with oil.
I love this recipe. It is so delicious and doesn’t taste like protein powder like most protein waffles do. Thank you!
Hey Derek, subscribed to your channel recently, and it is really, cool. The presentation is top notch, really informative and awesome recipes!! Cannot wait and try some of this stuff, waiting for my Protein to arrive.
will definitely be trying this one out. also saw that shot glass (i think) that yo u used to pour in that sweetner; very subtle:). hope to see your fitness videos soon!
Thanks for this video. Looking for good healthy food to eat. What do you recommend for a topping that is healthy?
I haven’t tried making pancakes with this mix. I just got done making waffles this morning and next time I make them I could easily try pancakes too.: )
I’m also looking for the biggest pressure cooker, food processor and so on… I’m moving to my first own apartment & I eat HUGE portions. Plus, I would like to start meal preping for few days ahead… I don’t think cookware industry has predicted people like me…:)))
Nutella waffle which I’m now craving. Newly subscribed from the group. Love the accent. Look forward to more videos.
Hey YouTubers, have you experienced H6x Muscle Monster? (Go Google it) You will find out about the serious crimes we commit against ourselves. With H6x Muscle Monster, you will discover how to build muscle fast.
Yum! I’ve been obsessed with anything banana lately. Time to dig out my waffle iron.
Awesome. Tried to make pancakes but didnt like it. Thanks for this recipe. Gonna try that. Guess the crispy feeling is better
If you want to build strength, you should search google for Max Muscle Method. You are bound to get the body you deserve.
Please consider using maple or date syrup instead of honey. Bees as overstretched and most honey companies just “sweep” the bees tending the honeycombs (which are most of them at certain times) along the honey, then filter the honey. It’s cruel and unnecessary. Thank You!
Michael, i think your videos would be more awesome if you were to add some kind of sound dampening material close to you and the mic. (THere is alot of echoing in your videos)
You could make some kind of wall on wheels or something with sound dampening material
Anyhow, great video:)
Hi mate, I love the look of your waffles I’m competing in a world finals in Boston next week which will be my last show of the season so I will be trying out your recipe….
Hi! I want to try to make the waffle you tech but but i don’t know what salt you put.
1. Oatmeal, 2. Honey, 3. Vanilla Essence, 4.?, 5. Water
Check out the Cuisinart Griddler. You can get waffle iron plates for it, and it can also be a griddle and a grill, and used as a press if you wanted to.
You’ve may have already this question in a video but I appreciate you to answer this a gain. Question: Is it okay to eat after a late night workout? one source said eating right before bed may cause me not to really sleep fully cause my stomach is busy digesting.
Just made made it with greak yogurt an mixed yougur and strawberries together and toped it
…. amazing
i luv that part.. eyeaaaaaaahhhh.. i still confuse with the thing called cheez,cheddar..err wut else..
Love your videos! I was wondering if you can sub the cottage cheese with greek yogurt?
That brand not available here, so I made my own cottage cheese
I made these today it was so good exactly like flour waffles, thank u for the recipe
Michael, I just wanted to thank you for adding grams to your videos, instead of only cups and other weird American measurements. Great work!
So glad I came across your video today! Looks great! Can’t wait to try them! And my toddler would be happy too:-)
I just made these this morning and they are amazing! Thank you, Michael, for always giving me great ideas for food. Most of what I cook is inspired by your videos.
Omg these people and their “what blender do you use” comment lol
if i have pancake/waffle mix could i just add whey powder to the mix?
Hey do u know of or have a recipe for a good healthy syrup to use if u make these or the pancakes??
I have the exact same waffle maker.
How do you get it to be crunchy or toasty? How long you cook it for?
Love your recipes! I have a Krupps waffle make it makes 4 large waffles
MichaelKoryFitness… wrong name.. should me MichaelKoryFoodPorn
Mine had too much of a protein after taste mine tasted like shit
These videos you make? I would say that they are kinda the cheat meals/snacks to a diet plan? Do you agree?:-) But really nice videos i love making them for cheat meals!
Mine looked good but refused to cook in the middle. Maybe my batter was too wet. Also I noticed no one is eating these waffles in their videos.
Cuisinart. Temp just over 3 for nine minutes then turn over for one minute…. perfect every time (Ann and Jane Esselston)
Thanks for the recipe Michael! Is it a good idea to use chocolate protein powder instead of vanilla powder?
Thanks for the video. Youtube is wonderful for this sort of info.My cousin had been bullied. He stated he was gonna get bigger muscle and strength. I did not believe him. Until before long he packed on 40 pounds of genuine muscle. He tried the Muscle Building Bible Google it. No-one dares to intimidate him nowadays.:-) I actually subscribed the other day. And the mans emails are fascinating…
I don’t like cottage cheese so I’m going to try to make it without that…hope it doesn’t turn into a disaster…
Could you substitute something for oats if you wanna make it low carb? Maybe almond flour or something like that?
The first recipe didn’t work for me at ALL. The batter did not cook at all and it was still soggy. Am I doing something wrong:(
Making these for the second time now! Making a double batch so I can freeze them up. NOM! NOM!! NOM!!!
This + Walden Farms calorie free syrup and trailmix on top = mouth orgasm
It would be a shame for you not to build muscle when other normal people accomplish it so easily with “Smashing Ripped X” (search for it on Google).
I wonder instead of cottage cheese could you use plan Greek yogurt?? I found some that has virtually no carbs or sugars and 20 grams of protein. I’ve never been able to do plain before but trying to expand my horizons to reach goals!!
Hey Michael is there anything that could be subbed for cottage cheese? GY?
What u recommend I put on them? They look delicious!!! Thanks for the vids.
Thanks Micheal! I’m trying to eat right again and start lifting, but I don’t like eggs without a load of cheese! I’ve been looking for more breakast ideas, and you are the first place I came to look!
bullied.
Thanks a lot for the video clip. Youtube is fantastic for this sort of content. My cousin was formerly bullied. He stated he was gonna get bigger. I didn’t believe him. Right up until in only weeks he packed on 40 pounds of absolute muscle mass. He made use of the Muscle Building Bible (look for it in Google). No person dares to bully him now. I actually subscribed earlier this week. See what happens. Not to mention the mans emails are fucking fascinating!
Hi Michael, love these recipes man! The food looks really good, I’m hoping to try one of them out at some point. One thing though, in future would it be possible if you could perhaps give us the nutritional values (calories, protein, carbs etc.) of the food too? That way it’d be easier to arrange the meals around macros.:)
yup, i’m going to eat this whole recipe in one sitting without a shred of regret haha
Yummm! This is a super high protein recipe! Nice and healthy!
I made these for breakfast today for the first time. Soooo yummy. My husband and I went vegetarian in June 2019 and WFPB in November. He grew up on a farm so he was all about meat, dairy, eggs. You’ve made this transition easy for him. He just finished telling me how good these waffles were. And we had the nacho cheese sauce last night with WFPB chili.
Sir kindly want to add receip on fitness pal for recording my calories,
4000 grams of protein?!! Wtf?!!! That’s like a 16,000 calorie pancake then! Not even the rock can handle that. Jokes aside your math was waaaaaay off. Let’s see 0.5 cup of cottage cheese has about 14 gram protein. Each egg about 5, so 20 gram protein. Oats about 4 grams of protein. So grand total of 38 grams of protein. That’s a good amount of protein for one serving but not enough to get you through the day.
Looks really good man. I have to go out and buy a waffle iron now.
I like to also add dates for a healthier sweetener, you don’t taste the dates and the texture as well
Omg they look amazing I’m going to make them during the week thank you for sharing your recipe yum yum:)
Flour is a plant food, why do you make oat pancakes and not use flour. I’m curious?
I appreciate your hard work in putting these videos together. It really helps us who do not have time to be chefs
Just made these this morning! Used almond milk and added some chia seeds. It was super yummy! Thankyou!
I’m still making these every weekend! My partner uses them as fuel during his endurance events!! Thank you
I have a mini heart shaped waffle maker. The waffles are so cute for any time of the year. Need to get a larger waffle maker.
Do you know about how much banana it is? Bananas are so different in size. Plus I was thinking of using Pumpkin or applesauce sometime. We loved them following your recipe. Thank you for sharing.
OMG. He totally looks like Matt Donavan in Vampire Diaries…! Or is it just me?
I don’t think I’ve had cottage cheese! love waffles though..
Just made these! I couldn’t add all of the batter at once without it spilling over so I did it in layers. Added a little bit waited a few minutes And then added a little more. And repeatedMade one great big Belgian waffle and I ate every bite! Delicious!!
Just gotta say you have improved ALOT since your leanbodylifestyle channel.. I watched some old vids of you right now and you were so tightened up and stiff man:D. Right now you are cool and confident, great job.
@The Protein Chef. Those macros are kray kray im going to try this what can i sub in for the protein powder
I love this recipe, I use unsweetened almond milk and a little vanilla and make an oatmeal bake and I add mix berries in it soo good
I followed your recipe this morning and the waffles turn out great. Thanks for sharing
Not sure your sodium calc is correct. With 1/2 tsp salt, that’s about 1000mg of sodium, plus the cottage cheese could be another 400, the egg, and any other ingredient. Might need to edit the total recipe for that. Personally, I’d forgo adding the salt by itself. You wont miss it and other ingredients make up for it.
what can i substitute for cottage cheese? im lactose intolerant D:
i just made these this morning these things are delicious.
thanks man.
Looks great, Brittany! I do something very similar with buckwheat and love them. I have a Cuisinart non-stick waffle maker and it makes 4 waffles. Like that you add the chia & flax both into your mix. Must try that. I think my favourite topping is warmed up applesauce over a bit of nut-butter, but maple syrup is mighty nice too! Thanks for sharing!
My Cuisinart Panini Grill Griddle has waffle plates to buy. I am still using our little waffle iron so am saving up for the separate plates…

You have impressed me as always! I am originally from Alabama, moved to Maryland almost 4 years ago AND I am a new vegan! Thanks to you and your videos and of course the books you recommend, I am doing good! Chicken an waffles are a must at brunches and dinners in Alabama and I was wondering if a savory waffle would work, and use your cauliflower chicken wing bites? Is there any other recipe you have for “chicken” since I still have not taken a liking to cauliflower? I’m trying!
-4 cups of oats
-2tbs of honey (for colour)
-2tsp vanilla essence
-1tbs sugar
-Water to cover oats on blender to create a thick batter.
7mins to cook.
Thanks so much for your recipe ❤️
i made oat banana pancakes today coincidentally! i would have loved to see how well your batter poured into the waffle iron
