Apologies if this belongs in the Careers thread but searching the sub there have been similar threads previously so I figured this should be okay.
Basically I’m looking at doing a PGY-6 year fellowship which is fairly laid back clinically (1-2 days of clinic/week) and I’m looking at options for robust correspondence masters programs in Biostats/Clinical Epidemiology. I’ve tried googling around but a lot of information about the programs is vague. The idea is to bolster my abilities in clinical research and statistical analysis. I would likely be able to do up to a month or two of course work in person, and I have both Canadian/American citizenship but I’m training in Canada, so something in North America would be ideal.
We do have a local program but I’ve heard mixed things about it and I figured if I’m going to shell out for something like this I should get a good experience. It’d also be nice to have something that I can easily complete part time and from afar if it ends up requiring more than a year, as I’ll likely be relocating after PGY6.
Anyone have any experience with this?
