I have IBS….it started when I used to hold stool till I go home cause at my work we were so busy…it wasn’t worth this IBS
I’m surprised one of the 1st things you don’t cut out is sugars, sugars are normally one of the main reasons of flare ups they feed all bad bacteria in the gut but i do agree with cutting out milk, eggs and gluten too
How are ya’ll able to cook at the same time?! WITCHCRAFT. WIIITCHES. I think my bf and I would end up eating each other.
I’m going to throw something out there. Try insoluble fibre and reduce soluble fibres. I love my leafy greens but they may be contributing to my bloating.
Love this video and I just found that out about avocado and I have loved eating it again. Also I am so excited to make that onion infused oil:) And I definitely have trouble reintroducing things but I have tried gluten and sweet potato lately and I’ve been ok in small portions.
This is just superb, I been tryin to find out about “kefir ibs” for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about Mackorny Defeat IBS Blueprint ( search on google )? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my friend got amazing success with it
I need to do something it’s so hard to eat and get sick or feel bloated all the time. I think I have a problem with meat especially if I combine it with any sort of dairy. Hmmm maybe a week or two I can try this.
Hi Becky, hope your well. Thankyou for the video it was very informative especially regarding portion sizes. I wonder if you could help me regarding portions? I am on the fodmap diet advised to me by a NHS specialist dietician. In the booklet it says suitable veg up to 80g, does this mean a combined weight or individual weight? Sorry it’s a long question. I’m sooo confused lol x
hi, guys! had to look railway curry was once cooked by the chefs working on the Indian railways in the 1900s. has your gi tract improved going vegan?
she speak so much and wastes a lot of time. its boring. i couldn’t watch

How long are you doing your elimination part of the low FODMAP diet? I heard 6 weeks, but I would do 2 if that would work!
Finally I found a channel with low fodmap recipes ♥️♻️
Hi Becky. Hope you are well. My first trigger food I found on Tuesday is raw onion or the cheese and onion sandwich filler. It’s not dairy as I haven’t reacted. Gosh what an awful experience when it’s triggered on top of the pain in already in xx
my stomach issues started after I had a hernia operation and complication couldn’t eat for about 4 months lost lots of weight looked sexy, but was scared I was dying. So God told me to go back to eating baby food. Basically anything I could blend up I ate. Then my stomach healed. Now I have to go back. my stomach is bloating tighting and I am now eating IBS style. Blended broccoli with avocado and waters sprinkled on top of chopped spinach.
This is a very good layout for stomach recovery from bad diet. In Russia, the doctors assigned exactly this therapy without antibiotics and bunch of pills.
Thanks for sharing the informative video. My cousin has IBS for 2 years he tried many medicines but no relaxation. but after using planet AYuvrveda IBS care pack now he recovering day by day
I suffer with ibs and and when I’m on my period it just gets so unbearable that I cannot get out of bed for days
MADI YOU’RE SO AMAZING!! Sarah has inspired me in everything I do, in fitness, in clean eating in everything she does that I’ve created my own youtube channel!! Thank you for being you!!! I would really love some support on my channel, go over and subscribe!! <3 <3 <3
hi, becky! very informative! each hack is a gem you are doing a great job, i hope you are feeling better with the diet changes. have you begun reintroducing foods? you may recall that i am not on low fodmap but have ibs, gastroparesis and celiac. foolishly i had something with soy in it was sick for about 24hrs. live and learn. learn and live. take care! k
I can see that ur navel is displaced to left side and u suffer from diarrhoea and stomach pain and bloating. The left shoulder is downside. I can help u become normal and eat everything. Hope u will try me
Thank you for this useful video! After years of chronic digestive issues, I’ve finally been diagnosed with PI IBS; a complication from contracting Giardia on a camping trip. There’s a lot of information on the internet about low FODMAP diets, but it’s hard to find easy, quick recipes. I appreciate these!
I sugest RAW cabbage and bone briths, ibs is cause by some microorganisms or leaky gut, some anti fugal anti bacteria remmedies Will work great, candida might cause it as well, avoid dairy any kind even butter, BTW 3 meals are no IF but standard, IF is 2 meals in 6 hour window minimal
Hello I am so grateful for the information that you are providing here <3 Just wanted to ask how many meals from that list can I eat per day? 160 gr tofu, 10 hazelnuts etc per day or per meal?
You are in deficit calories?? You eat only 1600 calories
New sub. I’ve had IBS since I was nine and been on every meds you could imagine. I just brought the book you recommended and I’m starting the elimination phase tomorrow. I really hope this help so much. I’m so tired of the pain and constantly looking 20 months pregnant lol. My stomach is soooo huge with all this gas ughh.
Most likely if the bottle was shipped and not refrigerated then the probiotics are dead
Thank you for the video! I was vegetarian for a year and a half and I probably didn’t do a great job, as I was eating a lot of meat replacements and wasn’t getting all the nutrients I needed. Overtime I began to feel weaker and my parents wanted me to reintroduce meat into my diet. I’ve been eating meat for about 8/9 months but there are foods I need to avoid, such as fried foods, etc. although I am better than I was a few months ago, every now and again I experience these ‘flair-ups’ when I can’t really eat anything without feeling nauseous and bloated. I’ve had a couple of those over the past few months and got better each time, but I’m currently going through another one and it’s not easy. Btw I’m not saying that being a vegetarian is bad and caused these issues, but rather that not doing your research and not getting all the nutrients into your body will being vegetarian may not to beneficial in the long run
That’s not an Elimination diet. Well, not an AIP Elimination diet. Maybe the IBS one is more forgiving. I’m on the AIP one and it’s far harder: no potatoes, grains or pseudo grains, seeds, black pepper etc. And oatmeal like that with more than a token of fruit AND honey is definitely a no-non. Its a bummer.
I make tea and drink all day long it help me a lot 6 glas of water 2 tablespoon fennel seed 3 cardamom boil 15 minute low heat drink many time I drink with my meal it help a lot
This was a great video Becky. Please do more videos like this. All those points made me think about what l am doing. At times it feels like a battle battle with food. Another tip is to keep a food diary and write down your symptoms. This is made easier if you try one type of food or a single vegetable, fruit etc at a time. Also a green or just ripe banana is Fodmap but a fully ripen banana is not, I will try the chives in small amounts for sure.
Regarding a dietician at the start when your knowledge limited is a good idea. I went to a dietician this week and felt that really I was wasting my time because the reality is everyone different and there are no set of rules. One just has to test the foods themselves and a dietician can’t do this for you or know how a food is reacting when you eat it,
. .
my partner has been suggested this diet, they are already vegetarian, and gluten free so glad I found some recipes that work for them.
This was a new glimmer of hope for me. We went vegan the traditional way for about six weeks and it about killed us. So with a husband who does hard physical labor all day, I just went back to good home cooking with meat, and eggs for breakfast. I couldn’t connect low fodmap with vegan. I am happy to see that you are doing vegetarian so well but I really should not eat cheese. Part of the problem is that here in Ohio we have never had a curry in our life. Ethnic food is not a thing here. So it is hard to adopt everything new all at once.
Yes please do a video of lactose free cheeses and what is low FODMAP. That’s such a great idea
How can I find what portions are low FODMAP? I want to get a scale so I can measure
Is it even possible to gain weight with ibs?? Does ibs cause malabsorbtion??
This video Becky is so AMAZING! All of your hacks are SO TRUE and SO ACCURATE. You do an amazing job. Also for those of you that are wondering yes..she does indeed respond to comments as soon as she can. I also agree about not eating your allowed amounts of Fodmaps together in abundance. I do this with frozen strawberries and frozen blueberries but in moderation. So that I have an “on the go” fruit snack, I separate out 15-20 blueberries + 10 strawberries and put them in Ziploc baggies and take them with me to work. They can thaw on the way to work and I eat them for breakfast. Strawberries are shown to not have fodmaps in them and blueberries do have fodmaps if you eat in excess of 20 per/serving. So I dont push it and add anymore than that to the baggies. They don’t need sugar as they are sweet enough on their own. I use the Monash Food App. It is $10.00 but so worth it. Xx
I have been on this diet for 6 months and it’s so challenging to find different foods.
Excellent…and intermittent fasting is very good idea, I have IBS issues and fast as often as I can, your vid was very informative. Thanks!
I’m lactose intolerant and I just was asked to go low FODMAP to see if it will help my diverticulitis possible second diagnosis of IBS. I’m so lost. I always assumed mozzarella was high lactose because it’s soft. Is that not the case? I am scared to eat because I don’t know what to eat
I’ve been on the low fod map diet for a few weeks now, i’m feeling better but having trouble distinguishing if my stomach hurts bc of what I ate or if i’m hungry. thanks for all the info. I think i’m going to look into fasting.
Hi Becky I have just been diagnosed with IBS and I am devastated the only trouble is that I have a disability of dyslexia so the information is not very good for me but your channel has helped me immensely with knowing what foods to cook so I will just wanted you you to know that I am grateful for your channel and it made my life a little bit easier thank you
I just ordered a kind of supplement that is high in protein and nutrients because I need nutrition that’s reliable. I am trying to limit high histamine foods. Some nuts are okay for me in small doses. I can eat pecans and Brazil nuts. Eggs, I am not sure. Usually, I am fine. Chocolate doesn’t work for me. I think wheat and whey and dairy can be issues. I would love to be able to everything I want. Yep, these issues can make you feel in a difficult way. I remember two years ago, I had horrible diarrhea after eating a salad. LOL
Thank you, I will be trying these also, you guys have seriously been my saviour.
I went out yesterday what a nightmare, went into a cafe the only gluten free they had was bread so I ended up having 2 slices of toast whilst my friend had scones jam and cream, and they only toasted it on one side.. your dishes are fantastic.. Being new to this, I think I’ve learnt quicker from following you.. Thank you ❤
Around 4-5 days my stomach clear and flush out totally
But every after 4-5 days 1-2 days i have not my stomcah clear, and blotting, lots of gas trap continuous farting, CONSTIPATION
Is it IBS
i’m a normal dude, i just clicked for the girl in bikini, the video show me no girl in bikini..
I got the FODMAP from Australia and it’s very good. Costs $10 so a good buy. It tells you all the foods that are low FODMAP. They recommend eliminating all FODMAP foods over 6 to 8 weeks. Then reintroduce foods one at a time to actually see what is affecting you.
Did you know you can only have 1 Blackberry? I am going to trust the Australian experts as their success rate is high!
Like from me! Thank you so much for your last reply! I’m on a diet right now and I think it’s helping me. I feel a lot better. I wish you good health. I just hope that you’ll get rid of IBS one day, you’re the best. Keep up the great work!
Please please
Please! You’d be everyone’s hero, no one seems to recognise our condition some of us are desperate, all I eat is 400gr of chicken and rice each day how boring is that
Have subscribed really looking forward to watching you
( I have bam and Crohn’s btw’ x
Thanks for sharing your journey Madi I love how real you are and that you give the details on what your eating & doing to workout. You totally were cracking me up in the car with person staring that sounds like me when I’m trying to record…it’s like “don’t you get it? I’m talking to my online peeps! “ haha. I’ve been working out 2-3 days a week at gym since January 21st, I do calorie count but have been low carb (40-80) carbs a day and some days I’m at 100 carbs. I’ve lost 20” inches off my tummy which is awesome but Only 7-10 pounds that part drives me crazy! However I sleep better, feel better and have many positive benefits. I’m super sensitive to foods too…I had to cut out lectins which has helped & not having any gluten since beginning of January has been life changing. I’m trying to cut out dairy to see if it helps with weight loss but homegirl loves half & half in my coffee☕️. I tried almond milk in it yesterday and Naaahhhhh. So I might have to cut coffee but that is one thing that I enjoy and I’ve cut so many things out. Ugh. Anyways, I have 80-100 pounds I’m working to shed. I’d love to see the scale down especially since I track everything I eat and stay between 1500-1900 calories a day. Thanks for all your tips girl and that soup looks YUM!!!!
Im eating bone broth with rice at the moment, I hope it does not come back to bite me in my gut.
Hi, just watched you video, I’m suffering from similar pain and wind in my abdominal area, so I think it’s it’s as it’s happened 3-4 in the last few weeks. Thanks so much for all of your diet tips. I hard part for me is working out what foods are causing the problem. I hope get well soon, take care and thanks again. God bless.
Seus vídeos são bons, mais gostaria que colocasse legenda em português do Brasil..✌
I know this video is a few months old now but just wanted to say, it’s pronounced fodmap, not foodmap (short o, same as when you say fog)
Blueberries, ripe bananas and broccoli are all foods you should avoid when you’re doing the elimination diet as they all are higher in fodmaps. A tip is to season your food with lemon and herbs which taste nice and is low in fodmaps:)
Monash app is best for Fodmaps. What you where eating this morning was not the best. That a lot of fruit. It’s hard to do.
I use the digestive enzyme almost nightly, usually my heaviest meal, and have found that papaya enzymes are great
My son was recently diagnosed after years of suffering. Gastroenterologist put him on a low fodmap diet. He says his stomach was a 5 before and is now 7 out of 10 but he has complained a couple times that his stomachs hurts. He doesn’t seem to do corn well even though its low fodmap. Do you recommend a better way to find out what foods bother him rather than just low fodmap. Its been 4 weeks in and was thinking he should be feeling better than a 7 at this far along so wondering if something non low fodmap is also to blame? He seems to not feel good after low fodmap tacos
i have severe ulcerative colitis and i had someone tell me i dont have to worry about my diet but try and eat more dairy and just avoid fats.
What helped me was a 24 hour water fast. And taking rifaxamin 400mg per day for 1 month. Do a 24 hr water fast once per week. Then no veggies. Just fats like burger mozzarella. Only eat once or twice per day hope this helps someone
Great video as always! I’m learning so much from watching you. My husband had stomach issues for a long time but started eating activia once a day. He gets the plain one and adds fresh fruit. Can you have that? Or maybe probiotics you need. Keep up the great work ♥️
This is a really helpful video thanks. I my self have IBS and also have PCOS I had an ovary removed when I was only 19.. and been diabetic for the past 2 years finding it really hard to loose weight and eat right.. just joined back to the gym a few weeks ago and been doing well just need to change my eating habits…love seeing the helpful videos u post thanks again…
Would this work too for Left sided colitis I believe I may have that, The left side of my abdomen burns. And it’s been painful.I’m also having a hard time differentiating Colitis,Ibs,And chrons disease Since there symptoms sound so similar

so the top result from google according “water and meals” shows this:
“There’s no concern that water will dilute the digestive juices or interfere with digestion. In fact, drinking water during or after a meal actually aids digestion. Water is essential for good health. Water and other liquids help break down food so that your body can absorb the nutrients.”
I hate the internet…
I would love more videos like this, it’s very helpful. All week I have been slowly eating blueberries because all fruit has been awful. So I don’t know how many blueberries is in five grams so I just went for a skinned tiny wedge. Next day I skinned half and the day after I ate a whole. My energy drained for a while after a berry and a half but its better than the other reactions so I’m going to keep at the berries until one a day for four days becomes at least six berries in one sitting. Fingers crossed my insides don’t just revert back to the major intolerance. Good luck to you, as well Becky
Avocado, ripe banana, and blackberries are considered high FODMAP… low FODMAP diet are better for IBS. Eggs, dark chocolate, and nuts is typically considered good for IBS.
Not drinking during meals is interesting, since the intestines pulls and retains water causing bloating.
Kimchi might have probiotics but because it’s fermented and is spicy might not be so good for you.
Yeah I definitely have a question on why I get so bloated and I seem to always have problems going to the bathroom at the same time♂️ I cut out dairy and gluten but seeing this video clear things up so I’ll see if it’ll help for sure
Good day, Becky. I just want to say that your videos are a lifechanger for everyone who has IBS. I’ve only had symptoms manifest less than a year ago, but the thought of having this condition my whole life horrifies me. I used to be a glutton, I crave all of those things that used to be my favourite food just a couple of months ago. It’s difficult to keep a strict diet, and the thought that this bland, textureless food is what I’ll eat for the rest of my life makes me want to cry. Which is why your videos are important. Sure, It’s nothing like the life I’ve had, and all these new products are difficult to come by in Russia. Not to mention that Gluten free lactose free vegan all natural food sounds unbelievably gay, and I sound pretentious while ordering it. But you showed me it’s not over. I can have a life full of (strange and expensive) tasty treats and food. You are a content creator and a helping hand. Thank you.
I’ve had IBS for three years. As well as chronic fatigue syndrome and I just feel extremely tired and bloated and generally horrible all of the time. I don’t feel any pain though just almost constant bloating and my gut just doesn’t feel right, I often hear it digesting my food at night. I just feel so miserable as I can’t do anything anymore.:( I will do anything to make it better. I will try the supplements that you have put in the description and see if they help. I currently take peppermint tablets but they don’t seem to help much.
Thanks for making this video and I hope I am deafly one else who is suffering from this problem gets better soon. Otherwise if I don’t I might have to switch to liquid food!
I’m having problems with dairy gluten and soy foodsmost dairy free contains soy which makes my skin break out. Asda only do a small free from section. I’m finding it hard avoiding all these food groups. I’m currently waiting to see a gastro doctor to figure out what is wrong with me! I will give the cornflakes recipe a try
Kimchi/cabbage would kill me. Corn and dairy also flare it up. You only have it three times a year? I have flare ups like every 2-3 weeks.
Hi Warren! Yes, please, make more Low FODMAP recipe videos! My dietitian put me on the Low FODMAP Diet about a month ago and I’ve been having a hard time knowing what to cook. Pasta was my favorite food and I used to put garlic in everything. I like how you said at the beginning of this video that people need to consult a dietitian because it’s quite complicated and I just watched another video by someone else who put herself on the Low FODMAP Diet and read about it online. She showed what she bought on her first Low FODMAP grocery trip and two of the items were not Low FODMAP. Also, many people only have intolerances to some of the sugars eliminated by the Low FODMAP Diet, not all of them, and a dietitian can help them figure out which ones.
Yay! So glad to see someone making the FODMAP diet actually look doable and even sometimes enjoyable lol. This plan has been the only thing to keep my tummy issues manageable. I hope it continues to help you!
I dont understand how im gaining weight and i don’t eat meat
I have IBS. I’ve had diarrhea for two weeks now. Can you compile recipes that might help. I have trouble eating anything at all.
Thank you…love from Singapore!
As usual great info. Thanks for the great and informative content
I like your advice to work with a dietitian. Is a nutritionist the same thing? Once I move back to D.C., I would love to work with one. I have never gone through the elimination and reintroduction stage, because I have been busy and it is hard to regulate what I eat in China. How long did the whole process take?
Hello there, I have Gerd and have substantially cut out carbs and red meats but now I’m severely skinny. My stomach has shrank even more. I wanted to ask if you also eat red meat? Yesterday my arms were very tingly and I felt so weak, my family said I looked pale and frail and thought I might be Anemic. Besides eating red meat if you do, do you also eat any kind of beans?
I’ve had IBS for just about a year now in reaction to a strong acne medication, and it’s definitely been a huge struggle! It’s my GCSE year, and my IBS has been such a pain as I have missed so many valuable days off school, and sitting through 2-3 hour exams is very hard and its so difficult to concentrate through the pain!
Thank you so much for these videos though, defo so helpful! Hopefully one day we’ll both be IBS free xxx
Congrats on 100 lbs down….thatis amazing. I am a new friend to you and think you are beautiful. I found this very helpful….I also have some crazy stomach issues.
First of all, thank you so much for these great videos, very helpfull!: ) I have tried to download the mealmaker, i entered my email but it doesn´t seem to work?
I’m from Iran and Saffron is one of our main and traditional spices in many of our cuisines. This is not the proper way to use saffron. Saffron should be crushed in a small mortar and pestle, then just 1/8 of a teaspoon should brewed in a bit of hot water (About 2 or 3 tablespoons) with a closed lid for about 10 minutes. Then it is ready to use, it release all its wonderful aroma and with very little amount of the liquid, you can flavor a large pot of food and you can store the rest of brewed saffron in the fridge for a week and use it for various foods. Saffron has a very unique and strong aroma and flavor, but it MUST be crushed and brewed in hot water to release that wonderful aroma:)
I just been diagnosed with IBS and I am a food lover. This video has helped a lot. Thank you.
Time to heal my GUT! It got better but the past week it’s been a MESS and my mom recommended the elimination diet… now I’m here trying to learn all the things to do it the best thanks for this video
This is just superb, been searching for “how to cure ibs permanently” for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across Mackorny Defeat IBS Blueprint (should be on google have a look )? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my partner got amazing results with it
Thank you so much for this informative video! I just found out yesterday I have ibs. I have a question for you do you recommend or not recommend taking Laxatives for times when going to the toilet is a real struggle? I’m not sure if I take them if that means my body will rely on them. Thanks!
I enjoy drinks more than food, unfortunately when ever i drink water or any other kind of liquid it dilutes the small digestive enzymes i have.
My IBS is no dairy no spices no fatty foods over 2o years now and some drinks too I just try and get on with it flare ups bloating most of the time change my diet lots of times
“you won’t be able to eat anything except rice and oats” currently me
are all ur recipes FODMAP friendly and Gluten Free? I am Celiac
I can highly recommend winter squashes, like Crown Prince and Hokkaido. As far as I know they are allowed on the low Fodmap diet plus they are super delicious and very nutritious, excellent for soups. As for fruits
I love black grapes.
I can’t eat kimchi at all all cabbage and brocolli I miss it so much.
Is shortness of breathe common with this. Could you please ans
I have multiple gut and digestive disorders and see a specialist, she said water with meals and smaller bites help with the digestion. I wish you well
I’d just like to mention that people that suffer from IBS doesn’t have the same triggers, for example, there is no way I can eat chive because it’s part of onions family so it would be very painful. Same for leeks and shallot.
Life really gets disturbed with this disease. My career has been affected. Also I lost so much muscles that i got back pain. Now after 3 years of struggling, it’s in a little bit of control as I exercise regularly and restricted my diet heavily, but sometimes like once in a week I get diarrhoea and need to take some remosetron tablets.I didn’t knew about the probiotics and enzyme part.I will try it after recommendations from doctors.
Some doctors didn’t say that I had IBS and then they told me to take unrestricted diet which really harmed me a lot.
Stress might also be a factor,I don’t know…I was confused and so I started researching myself.
Hello, I am looking for your meal plan to download and I can’t seem to find it! I am vegan as well and just found out that I need to try the low FODMAP diet. Could you please send me the meal plan. Thank you!
I discovered your channel just today. I was feeling lost and misunderstood regarding my IBS. My doctor is a gastroenterologist but didn’t seem to take my problem seriously. Episode of diareeha bloating and pain is miserable. In this scenario your videos seem like an understanding friend giving practical advice. Thankyou so much dear. I really appreciate you sharing your journey with IBS. A big problem is that most ingredients in your recepies like hemp or nut milks, berries, coconut suger and other stuff is not available in Pakistan.
I have IBS and it’s the worst especially when I go out to eat! A lot of restaurants or fast food places don’t specify which of their dishes are gluten/dairy free. As for your elimination trick, it helped me find out that I’m sensitive to gluten! Despite cutting out all dairy, I was still having a negative reaction and then I realized the problem was all the bread and pasta I was eating.
It’s not fun but just stop eating for a while really helps me
Thank you very much for these tips! I’ve been enjoying your videos and your honesty, I don’t feel so alone.
Great vid! Sounds like you nd me have similar guts. Can i ask, were you already eating reletively healthy when this problem arose? Also does your family have a history of autoimmune disease? This seems to be getting more common
Probiotics get killed in the stomach, that why you need to take late release capsule probiotic suplements
I love brown rice pasta but my only complaint in that is takes quite a while to cook
You must look into navel displacement, that’s what causes IBS. there are many yoga techniques that can fix that.
You can make the porridge nicer with vegan protein!!! Just cook the porridge on its own and in a separate pot mix the vegan protein with a small dash of almond milk to make a liquid chocolate consistency. Then just pour this into the cooked porridge. Honestly its a life saver x
It’s important to note that if you’re seeing a GI and they are going to test for Celiac’s disease they will tell you to keep eating bread until they say not to.
You should do the gut test called “GI Map” it’s the Mercedes Benz of gut test. Your general practitioner Dr won’t know what it is… you need to see a Integrative Dr. Google GI Mapfind a Dr. This test is like 20 test in one. You could actually cure yourself with the results… For exampleyou mentioned taking probiotics. Taking them could give you the probiotic you don’t need to repair your gut. (Waste time + money) The GI Map test will tell you which products your missing, if you have too much bad bacteria, parasites, viruses, and your inflammation markers. Etc… It’s really a cutting edge test. It has a bunch of other gut marker test, but I don’t remember right now. Really, this test will pin point “exactly” what’s wrong with your gut. And tell you about your food. allergies. Check it out!
Hi I am Avik Mukherjee from india although I don’t have any issues related to IBS…. I maintain a normal healthy diet and exercise routine. I find your videos very education and helpfull for even normal healthy people. Your way of talking and presentation is amazing almost every day or the other I watch your videos with high interest……
Doesn’t the oatmeal make you more bloated if especially if you have IBS-C? I personally am sensitive to A LOT of food/ingredients… Literally because of this I lost about 50 lbs in a very short time… From around 170 lbs to around 120 lbs…
I Read the quran and i feel much better pray to god allah heal your pain
This is very informative! I use the chive hack a lot. I love union flavour and much Dutch food has union in it:c. Chive is a perfect alternative! I cannot escape union completly. I think I still eat stuff at times with union powder in it. Its always hidding into something. I can tolerate low concentration of union powder (even though most times, unions will try to kill me).
I agree that a fodmap dieet should never be done alone. I did that and it took me 2 years. Yes I did it alone, but at such a slow pace! It could have gone faster if I went to a dietitian.
Hi! I not only have IBS but I also have a very similar hyper pigmented spot in my eye. I was wondering if you had any info on that? Thank you!
Loved your video and the information sounds reliable since it’s of your own experience. I just wonder if your problems have something to do with the cat? Have you checked this option?
Hello Carrie! I just found you this week as I struggled through several very unhappy episodes of IBS and discovered FODMAPS. Your website and videos have helped me so much, thank you for sharing your knowledge, experience with the diet and the great “cheat sheets”, they will all be very helpful as I try to navigate yet another attempt to find relief. I get particularly miserable in stressful situations which I am learning is not uncommon.
I’ll look forward to your emails in my inbox and your lovely videos.
IBS can be cured… you need to take the GI Map test. Just Google it.
I’m just getting into eating better so this video gave me so many good ideas!! Thank you girl!
Sometimes it also takes up to 3 to 5 days for foods to cause a reaction, particularly dairy and eggs.
It is very painful. I pray that it will leave each person’s body on here. Dairy, soft drinks and greasy foods will cause it. Not having enough fiber or drinking enough water. H. pylori is dominate in gut. So probiotics are needed for stomach issues. Thanks for your video.
Wow I feel I might have ibs I haven’t been diagnosed which is really bad idk but everything I’m experiencing I believe that’s what I have my mid section under my breast hurt really bad nights sometimes mornings. It make me so sad because I don’t know what to eat my whole life I’ve pretty much have ate everything nothing healthy at all. I’m 34 and I’ve been having this problem for almost 2 years but has recently gotten worse.
This low fodmap diet is confusing but it is also not recommended for longer than 2 months.
Sorry, but I get migraines without a minimum of 60 grams of protein daily. If I choose vegetable proteins I get sick. You understand that feeling. Veggies low in protein are the only ones I can have, and only in small amounts. I need meat and eggs to not be on the toilet with a splitting headache. I’m sorry, but I have to let you go.
Hi there! New here and I have a question, I thought low fodmap is dairy free as well? But perhaps you all can tolerate it!
This was relly informative and useful! I have been looking for foods that are completely fodmaps free and it has been suprisingly challenging… This video was a great help! Thank you ☺️
At the beginning of the video you mentioned that vegans do not have to worry about disaccharides, because that refers to lactose. There are other disaccharides as well, though, such as maltose and sucrose. I was wondering if you ment that these ones are fine in low fodmaps diet? If so, then do you know why? Does it have something to do with the glucose/fructose ratio?
I suffered from IBS for 5 years. Now fully cured for the last 1 year. I am ready to help. Those who are interested please call 9703626383
Hope this helps:
Fruits should never be eaten with other foods. Melons should only be eaten with melons. One should wait at least 90 min to 2 hours before consuming regular food. Please Google the science/reason behind this. Ayurvedic food combining dos and don’ts may also be very helpful
I have ibs attack with oatmeal can’t have during ibs attack period
I love meal 3! Unfortunetelly, corn flakes (>30g) and coconut (>37g) are not low fodmap and be caucious when using it:)

I find it interesting that anyone who is into fitness mostly end up finding out they have some kind of food intolerances myself included. Usually it’s gluten, dairy, soy, corn or tree nuts. I think it’s because of all the gmos in our food and when you eat clean you’re more in tune and aware of your body.
I have IBS for many years after the diagnosis in my early 30… I can’t eat much my hubby and my kids will tell anyone I eat only one meal
a day cause I have sarcoidosis for
about 11 yrs… Its hard on me!
weirdly asafoetida is an IBS trigger for me so I was really upset when I couldn’t substitute onion with it
Great to see that I’m eating very similarly so I hope I see good results soon
nice content could I ask are the following low in fructose green beans, coriander/herbs, green tea? my staple veggies are cauliflour and Brussel sprouts which I hear are low in fructose?
I love rice cake and tuna and rice cake with banana and peanut butter
