Can you use brown sugar..?? Instead of the white one..? Thanks great video
do you know how long it will last with a shot of vodka in it?
Keep creating, be happy and stay blessed Serein and Chris!! ❤
I also like adding some squeezed orange juices and salt on the sweet and sour mix.
40 years. Doesn’t know the right way to put the citrus in the press. Impressive.
Hi Bruce…. I made this and it is definitely a keeper for me. It was delish. Had the girls over for a party…. smooth. I’ve checked out your other videos looking
for homemade tia maria or baileys. Something along that line. I couldn’t find one. Can you post one. Cheers:)
Can I say you look great in this video. I mean you always look good but this day your extra ketogenic or is that photogenic. thanks for all you videos by the way.
I think i will make a new one tomorrow.. Can u pls guide me steps by steps to make a perfect sour mix..im confused bout the amount of SUGAR, LEMON, LIME to use if i mixing using 34 oz carafe.. pls pls help me!! Thank you in advance…
Thank you for all the great video and stories Bruce! you are the best!
Just discover you channel! It is amazing!
Quick question…
does adding the egg white change the shelf life even when the vodka is added?
Thanks and keep the great work.
Ps. Don’t let the haters of the internet get to you! You rock and the advice you’re giving is priceless!!
Also, should i use lemon concentrate by monin syrup for sour mix? Or shud i use freshly squeezed Lemon & Lime? How many should i squeeze?
That pot straight into fridge from heat will raise temp of everything in fridge possibly spoiling some things particularly dairy.
He’s been Bartending all is life and he doesn’t know how to use a lemon/lime squeezer? He puts the halves in upside down. They go flesh side DOWN, rind side UP.
Nice enough guy though.
In his defense, only very high end bars/restaurants use FRESH LEMONS & LIMES. Most all have it coming out of their guns, which is artificially made, with High Fructose syrup. Blech!
I will def have to try these because I have been using the SF jello and Knox. I love my silicone molds and I use a dropper (can be a child’s medicine dropper) which makes it so easy to fill my molds without making a huge mess. I love watching your videos and I sohope you will also do some cookbooks in the future.
Hi Bruce… Great videos… can you please make a few videos on how to make triple sec/ Midori / Kaluha / Grenadine…? Can you also mention how to increase the shelf life of these home made cocktail mixers….? Would be of a great help.. Thanks a million and keep up the good work and treat us with more cocktail recepies…!!:)
I need to try these tips one day you make it seems so [Pun intended] Simple.
Hope you enjoy these yummy gummy bears, I literally can’t stop eating them. Good thing they are sugar free and high in protein, lol. What would you like to see next here? Comment below!
Great recipe. We had a taste for grape flavor so we made grape gummy bears. How should we store them?
Yum!!!! I’m making almond flour biscuits with sausage gravy as we speak!!
I was looking forward to seeing how you do these since I saw you bought the silicone trays and showed them on Ig stories!
Nice content. Try making your liqueurs, such as the triple sec. Also monin makes a sugar free triple sec syrup that is really good. Also, check out fatrumpirate.com they have a large dated rum distillers that add sugar after distillation. You would be surprised how many rum brands have added sugar. Keep up the good work and cheers
TY TY!!!! I can not wait to try this today. My hubby really misses his jelly beans and this will be a great substitute for him. I’ve been experimenting with the Great Lakes gelatin, but was missing something. Your recipe explains why! TY
Can other liquor be used besides vodka to preserve longer or is Vodka the liquor to go to & which vodka. Thanks in advance
Hi.. How long will it last after add an egg white? Will it still be good for 6months?
Thank you Kristie for another great recipe. What brand is your strawberry flavoring and where did you get it? Best regards.
Wouldn’t adding some psyllium husk powder add more chewiness and fiber?
i have the flavor oils u have in watermelon how much do i use. i cant seem to get it right.
My little Gabriella will love this! Great idea! Thanks for sharing…your videos keep me motivated because I fall off the wagon sometimes lol With my muscle disease I get inflamed and bloated easily so staying on the keto diet really helps but it’s challenging for me. I love your ideas and recipes!
You’re putting the lemons and limes upside down in the mexican elbow lol
Makes a mess
Yum! I wanna go make these right now.. I just might.. I’ve got the red can gelatin hiding in my cupboard somewhere.. BTW.. you could use a little bit of beet juice to color your gummies which would work much better than the strawberries.. a little goes a long way. Blessings!
There is no way that citrus juice is gonna taste good after 6 months in the fridge!
Does strawberry extract work just as well? I don’t want to have to order something online.
I like (and use often) the Great Lakes gelatin and collagen powders! I love the Vital Proteins brand more, but sometimes it’s difficult to swallow their price tag. I find blooming the gelatin in cool/cold water first, then adding the hot water prevents any clumping when I make gummies for my girls. They love them! I’ve got a super cute gummy bear mold on amazon that makes them feel like they’re eating the “real deal”! Great video!
You say the extract adds a “taste” but it’s listed in the ingredients list….?
Im trying to figure put how to measure “parts” for this recipe:/ lol Im a noob, i know!
Once u add that egg white in it. Is it still good to keep for 6 months in fridge or does it go bad quicker?
Thanks for the healthy version of Gummies. I am cofused as to ingredients. The recipe calls for teaspoons of flavoring, but you say tablespoons in your video. Can you clarify please?
In case you’re still wondering, “part” isn’t a specific amount; it’s a relative thing. Here, first you use as much water and sugar, the amount depends on how much sour mix you want to have. In the second phase, you use for example 1 dl of lemon juice, 1 dl of lime juice and 3 dl of sugar-water.:)
WTH, 3 parts syrup? thats too sweet, every other vids out there uses 1 part of each
