You lost me at “burn belly fat”. It’s the responsibility of people in the health community to not promote the idea that you can lose fat in isolation. It’s missed leading to tell people that they can burn fat from a specific part of their body. This seems like a well thought out channel, please don’t fall into this category of people.

if you (as a woman) have developed a resistance to leptin it does not matter how much you increase it. primarily women on average have higher levels of leptin then men anyway. I would suggest looking up 10 foods for weight loss and correct resistance to leptin. It may help prevent you (as women) from getting frustrated when increased leptin levels doesn’t work.

You realize that actual Leptin level count is not the reason why people store weight or the reason they are hungry? These people have tonnes of Leptin, but they are resistant to it. Meaning the brain has become resistant to the signals Leptin is sending from fat cells telling the body to use fat as fuel or to store it.

Sadly, I went off this diet a year ago. I lost 43 pounds in 2.5 months. My energy was up, I felt well, my clothes were sagging and I was on my way. I gained it back after some life trials. The Rosedale diet explains the whole process. I am getting back on tomorrow and by Christmas eve plan on being 50 pounds lighter. By my birthday in early spring, I want to be 75 pounds less. There are REASONS for lepton to go low while doing an diet, it not just “that’s the way it is” like she said on the video. Your lepton levels go low because if you’re eating very little your body goes in resistance mode, hence, lepton levels decrease, as your body doesn’t know when you will start feeding it correctly. I’m not sure if I explained myself correctly, but that is the reason why lepton evens can go low. Check out The Venus Factor Program if you want to loose weight. I’ve read about leptin my psychology book and they tested leptin in rats that were obese. Researchers injected these rats (who didn’t have a lot of leptin levels) and the rats lost their weight. Also they injected leptin in a very obese boy who I believe was around 4-5 and compared to his pic as a teen (13 yrs old) he wasn’t obese anymore. Of course my thought was ‘why don’t they give this to obese/overweight people?’ It’s because our body naturally has leptin but there are people who have too much or not enough of it and if there’s way way too much leptin then someone could potentially die.

Leptin doesnt burn fat..it tells the brain you have enough energy to burn and your brain tells your body that you dont have to eat. Of course psychological eating is a different story.

I take one teaspoon per day of coconut oil. But i also take butter with my coffee, kerrygold butter 80% fat between one and two teaspoon per day. Too much leptin can lead to a defensive mechanism ‘leptin resistance’, which is caused by sugar and high fatty foods, leading to obesity. so yeah take her advice and obviously avoid those foods as much as you can. BUT do read up on leptin resistance, it is quite interesting topic to research if you’re into nutrition/biochemistry.

forgive me if I am wrong but by “boosting” or increasing Leptin levels don’t you increase your appetite level, which also reduces the chance of actually losing fat? from what I have read from several sites, leptin is not a fat loss hormone, in actuality it controls appetite, the more of the hormone you have the larger your appetite and the more rewarding the food is (as in taste)

Lol…yet another bro scientist…first of all leptin is the main fat burning hormone in your body…the REAL way to boost your leptin level (assuming you are and have been at a caloric deficit for quite some time and weight loss has stalled) is to bring your calories up to maintenance or slightly above just for this one day (so you will still be at a weekly deficit).
