Ingredients. 2 cups chopped broccoli. 1 tablespoon olive oil. 1/2 teaspoon sea salt.
1 large lemon, peeled and juiced. 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes. 1/8 teaspoon.Place the broccoli florets in a large baking dish and toss with the garlic ghee. Squeeze the lemon over the broccoli and season with salt.
Place in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes. When done, the broccoli.Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Step 2 In a large bowl, toss broccoli florets with the extra virgin olive oil, sea salt, pepper and garlic.

Roast until the broccoli.Place broccoli in a large gallon-size Ziplock bag, then add refined coconut oil, salt and pepper, and shake bag to coat the broccoli with the oil and spices. Pour out onto a baking tray and roast for 20-25 minutes or until slightly crisped on the top.Cut broccoli into florets and add to the bowl.
Pour Garlic Lemony Herb Butter over the vegetables and toss to coat. Place on cookie sheet and bake 10 minutes. Stir and bake another 5 to 10 minutes.

How do I stop the edges of my broccoli from getting charred/burnt before colour as developed over the rest of the area? It seems like the edges of the florettes are just too ‘loose’ and get burnt easily

I stumbled upon this recipe from literally experimenting at home but it’s fun to see it’s actually a thing. I toss the broccoli in a bowl with garlic, lemon zest, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper (never thought to use basil!), and then I cook 20 min at 425 then grate fresh parm regg on top then cook an additional 5 minutes. The only other way I cook it is by sautéing in a wok!!!
I’ve seen a few recipes and many don’t wash the broccoli …. Should we refrain from washing it?
I like to grab the tough outside of the stem with a paring knife and kinda peel it back! Kinda like I’m peeling a blanched tomato or something. Your way works too! This looks wonderful

Boy my oil with the half lemons in it really burned badly, and quickly. I even used avocado oil because I thought olive oil would burn at 425 degrees fahrenheit. It would have been nice to have the remaining sauce in the baking dish, but I just added olive oil instead as the garlic paste was too thick. What did I do wrong?

Well im making this tonight. I didn’t have lemmons so I used limes and i left them for 45 minutes so they burnt. But I seldom lol. Did my garlic mixed it all together. It tastes delicious!! Ill roast the broccoli. But i have to cook chicken in the oven too. So gow do you do both? Because are two different temperatures and the length of time are different. So what I was wondering can I roasted broccoli and just keep it to the side until my chicken is done and throw the broccoli into the microwave and warm it up and then throwing the lemon garlic sauce?

Seeing her dump all that oil had me disgusted I just don’t see the point but it looked yummy I just don’t like a lot of oil and try to minimize excess oil like coat the pan or whats going to touch the food but don’t coat the food but I get it pan was already to hot
I just made this. I dearly wanted to love it. The lemons were gorgeous when they came out but the strong lemon flavor over powered the garlic and it was all a bit too much. It was very bitter. I do not want to discourage people from trying it, it was easy enough to do all this roasting, but I just wanted to give honest feedback regarding the flavors and recipe.
3 ingredients and still hard 4 me I’ll just eat the broccoli raw and down it with sum lemonade

I like to slice down cutting one particular floret off, but continuing the slice down in to the trunk of the broccoli, so that it cuts a long spear resembling tender stem broccoli only it’s regular… that make sense?

Are we suppose to use olive oil with heated foods? I thought it will become toxic
One key to this that wasn’t mentioned is that the broccoli needs to be totally dry in order for the tiny buds to crisp up properly. So you either want to not wash it or wash it way (like, several days) ahead of time.
Is there a calorie and macro breakdown for this? I put every bite I eat on my app that counts calories and macros.

A tips that’s gonna blow your minds:
Rub the oil and seasoning in the broccoli with your hands, mix them thoroughly, then add parmesan. Roasting dry broccoli is nowhere near as good as roasting oiled/seasoned all the way around.

PROTIP: The stem is the best part! Peel the tough green fibrous outside to reveal a pale green center, its known to exceptional chef’s as the best part of the broccoli! It’s very sweet!

This is a great recipe. You don’t need to slather on velveta like the cafeteria another naysayer said, I’m not a big broccoli fan, it’s OK but like your husband, I normally take it or leave it. I’m I not only made it for us (I’m the chef) I thought it tasted great! Nice twist on Broccoli. Really really good!
PS I used granulated garlic, i used my last whole head of garlic on a vampire hunt two nights ago. Almost got one the other flew away.
Instead of using sliced cheese on hamburgers I use Pub Cheese. It’s real cheese but soft and comes in a container like Cream cheese. I like the extra sharp variety but, other flavors are available. Toast the bun spread the cheese and build your burger BBQ season is around the corner. Also I’d use the Tahini-Lemon dressing recipe you posted on the broccoli.
I will try this, but without the cheese. I’m trying to eat healthier. And maybe I’ll add some spices:D because spices are good!

Hi!, Love your channel and also i love that i can check in your website the recipes step by step, i wanted to thank you for you recipes, they’re great and many of them are so simple that even an inexperienced “cook” like me can folllow them and they’re so yummi!, i have learned a lot when cooking my meals and im always trying to prep ahead, so i can pick them up when going anywhere or if not, i don’t need to cook every single day:). I love broccoli, i always eat it with just olive oil and lemon and maybe a little mayo, and sometimes stir fry it with oil and butter and tastes great. I wanted to do this recipe, but since i just cook for myself 6 servings will last 6 days:), can i keep this in the fridge with no problem? maybe not adding lemon to the whole recipe and maybe just add the lemon juice everyday for each serving? Any sugeestion? Also i don’t have (and never seen around here) that sumac spice:( but i’m gonna replace it with lemon zest like you said. Also you should use Macadamia Oil or Coconut oil for their higher smoking point and better nutritional value than Olive oil..Unless your spending 60 U.S. dollars for a very small bottle from a guarenteed reputable (hard to do by the way) southern Italy Olive farm.All yes ALL Olive oil sold is not very good for you.Most of it is mixed oils so they can bring the acidity # down to mask the fact that its not that TRUE (very expensive)Extra virgin Olive oil..Never haaa use restauraunt olive oil..Macadamie the way to go.Just saying
