Or, ya know, just got some American bacon like a true gent ya sob
I really love gordon but calling cayenne spicy is just crazy
Not bad, could you kindly indicate how much salt, pepper, and oil are needed? I counted ten potatoes and one onion, fine, as for the rest, do we use a teaspoon? Also, which is the ideal temperature in the oven? All the best and cheers in these interesting times. 4 May, 2020.
Ah yes conola oil. Good suggestion to start your day with some nice trans fats.
Ooh, so good and looks delicious. I’m about to make this right now for breakfast. Thank you very much!
Made my first hash browns because of this video. Love it. Thats something i could imagine to cook more often.
Too greasy to be the best breakfast in the world. Still looks tasty though— would probably eat that once every couple of months
Wouldn’t it make sense, chef ramsey, to squeeze the water before putting salt, pepper and olive oil from the potatoes?
Reminds me of poached Huevos Rancheros. Only difference is cooking some bacon first,, draining the grease, then leaving the crispy bacon on the bottom. Then add all ingredients as directed in video or make your own homemade salsa as the base for the sauce. Our cultures are all so inter-connected.
Woah is this heaven on a plate or what?! Tried it though i did use bacon in exchange for the chorizo but still this is one of the delicious omelettes i had
So can I just squeeze the water out of the potatoe first and then season them?
“Pour in a good glug(?) of olive oil”
This time Gordon actually puts the same amount of olive oil as he stated
i grew up eating afghan breakfasts and this looks pretty authentic to me.
Put too much onion in there and it was full of water, impossible to cook
I read Gordon Ramsy and Hash brownies and curios but I guess I’m just illetaret
yes, it may taste good, but it also may be the fattiest/unhealthiest of all, or at least towards that end
Tomato puree i get…but wt is tomato paste???..is it necessary even after using tomato???..js a confused amateur!!
I literally watch this video and just cooked a hashbrow following his style and it taste delicious
Yo everyone search on YouTube MrsTikTok click on 1st vid shows how to get free moeny it works
Just made this for the first time. Sort of messed up as I used cut potatoes to grate which meant the hash brown held a lot of the moisture but the oven dried it out and it tastes amazing! Maple Bacon is a great addition to it.
I keep having the problem of it sticking to the pan, and having to scrape it out rather than it being like an omelette
gave it a go. had no eggs or bacon but turned out just as nice. I used rapeseed oil turned out just as good and the nice part is rapeseed oil is a healthier option then olive oil when it comes to frying
Doesn’t work. Potatoes and onions dont bind together. Whole thing fell apart. Shocking instructions
Should be get the water out first than seasoning.
Or the seasoning out with the water.??
I feel like if someone served him that breakfast looking exactly the way he cooked it, he’d probably tell you to f*k off!
He is right about the potatoes. I used sweet potatoes and it was OK, but not as the one he uses here. Tasty dish tho!
looked really good, I’ll be getting back into omelettes soon I think:)
I love the hip hop dance he does when hes finished cooking
wow looks so delicious. I wil try it at my house. keep sharing creative recipes sis.
Omg i tried that bacon trick by putting olive oil, salt, black pepper, sugar & butter & the bacon turned out perfectly but i added vegetables to the pan afterwards & that mixture added such a delicious flavour . God damn it was wonderful, the sugar caramelized the vegetables too.
Tempting sis.. innovative receipe..Arabian breakfast healthy ND superb sis..
Burn is bad? I’ve finally learnt something on the internet. Gosh, why even bother.
to your information, all these recipes are fucking useless, because you just name the products, and brief explanation of a cooking way. Absolutely no other context, no timings, no explanation, impossible to cook for the untrained person. Always after your videos you should watch some other video, in which a normal person explains how to actually act in the kitchen, to make the dish done. So what’s the use of these videos then?
Why are the comments on gordons videos better than ppl eating shit on dirtbikes and dudes knockin eachother out in the streets??
I took a picture of it through my phone that’s how good it looked
i tried making this and the hash browns failed hard bottom was burning and sticking to the bottom while the top was not even cooking i guess i did not drain it enough but i did drain it pretty well so idk how his cooked so well
“The secret, are the Potatoes”?.now you tell me Gordon!.I’d been using ‘Hash’ to make my Hash Browns. I had to stop eating it because it was getting too expensive and I got into some serious debt, owing thousands to violent drug dealers: my wife left me, I lost my job; my house; and was made homeless….pffft..all because of a bloody Potato!
Chorizo packs a lot of bang for your buck, so I know this breakfast will be excellent!
This is bullshit it is so dark it wood taste like burned niggas
Vc tem q comer mt cuscuz com bode essa porra ai n chega nem perto do melhor cafe da manha do mundo vai tomar no cu
I will definitely make this for the weekend ❤️❤️ soo comforting! love it
Kisses my darling.God be praised for charisma and talent.I.salute….
Just let me get this straight. You add olive oil and spices and then squeeze to remove the water (and olive oil and spices)?
How thank you for revealing that incredible secret, would’ve never guess that potatoes would be important for making hash browns
Awesome video:) thanks for sharing. I gave it a thumbs up! Xo
Uhm good way to cook lịke this. Thank you.hope you also stop my house for supporting me.
New friend sending my support,Fully
watched let’s grow together hug me back
thanks and god bless
While i was cooking, i was waiting for him to start screaming on me
Using oil butter and sugar to cook bacon lol doesn’t get any American than that
Is it possible to skip the onions? I really dislike onions.
Dude, edges are burnt!
another guy making it he would be
Yelling down his throat!! Lol
Oh wow u put a bunch of things in there. My mother only uses eggs and tomato’s and sometimes we put Thai chilli for spice
Gotta follow this great chef, wanna learn more american style foodies
If i dont have an oven, can i make the eggs over the hashbrown or will be better make the eggs apart and later put them over the hashbrown
I coarsely grated the potatoes instead of dice. Also used harissa paste instead of tomato paste. Added cilantro instead of parsley. Tasted delicious.
The only thing I don’t like about this is the fact that he said the USA does the best breakfast…….bullshit!!!
Give me the Great British breakfast any day
Ummmmm…that runny egg sure soaks up the flavors. And I love the versatility!
Where do you get that chorizo? I get mine from the Mexican store and it comes in a plastic casing as soon as you put it in the pan it breaks down into more of a chorizo paste then i add beans or eggs. I had this chorizo skillet at denny’s and it was more solid chorizo bites like yours. So if you could tell me where you get yours i would greatly appreciate it. Breakfast hash is my favorite adding chorizo would be fantastic
By the way if you add tortillas and queso fresco i think youil be pleasantly surprised.
It looks really so yoummy, thnx for sharing new friend here.
Never add oil to your chorizo, it fries up in its own rendering fat. U could actually add a lil water on the pan and cover it for a bit.
while watching, i put the captions on and when he said crispiness it processed as “crisp penis” lol
Love your cooking. I’ve used a couple of your recipes and really enjoyed them. Looking forward to trying this one:)
Hey I made this is was great but do you not find that adding the veg to potatoes makes the crispyness go away?
fuck me so i made this but burnt my fucking hand on the handle of the pan i used to bake it in the oven fuck me i literally branded myself, it was absolutely delicious btw quit simple, just dont burn your fucking hand!
Here in the Netherlands, “hash browns” qre a little different…
Hi,
Nice sharing
New friend here#401
Lets grow together so
Hoping for the same
Yummy breakfast! Not to be a know it all, but if u accidentally do add too much seasonings you can take them away. Add a splash if water and roll it around to absorb some of the seasonings, then pour it out. Definitely works better on things like ground beef, not quite as well on potatoes as it could sog a few out. But I would say better than enedibly over seasoned or salted.
that mexican chorizo looks so soft and not hard at all, I love adding bell peppers to, to just about anything:) great looking dish Eric
Been smoking stardawg all evening, gonna knock this up right now!
: I love it. It’s a wonderful dish. Thank you for posting.:)

hello new friend watching you from kuwait..I would love to try that too..looks so good. see you around
I love these but I never get them right first time. The key to cooking is the small details which always seem to be missed in these types of videos
Burns something
Nobody:
Gordon’s: look at the way it’s caramelised
Yummmyyyyy dlicious recipe, Thank you for sharing, Like and Susc.
Your shouldn’t use red wine on your cast iron. The acidity degrades the season

My birthday tomorrow and ive got the most beautiful sack of cheshire spuds down stairs and everything else i need to make this glorious breakfast. Thanks Gordon i think i’ll have this for breakfast:)
How would this recipe work if you replaced the tomatoes with salsa?
I wish he posted quantities/weights in grams of potatoes/onions used!! I find it difficult to cook without having these measurements:(
Ohh CAYENNE. I thought he said KM I was like wtf is KM I’ve never even heard of it..
The end result look amaZing btw….bn trying to introduce this dish to my familu…ty for sharing!

I just moved out of my RV camper in los angelas to pursue my life long dream of becoming a pop star singing next to my favourite artist lizzy mcguire. Please help me achieve my goal by liking and commenting on this comment. I would very much sppreciate your love. Thank and goodnight. Thats all folks
clickbait…came here to see gordon making some hash-brownies:/
They don’t even sell a brisket cut at the market near me. We have to go to an actual butcher and it’s expensive. Arizona has high food prices.
Fat people cant make this because they dont have leftovers 😉
Well look who it is Chief Gennady Golovkin!!! After his very 1st loss from Canelo Alvarez he became a famous chief!
Try lookiing like less of a TEENAGE ASSWHIPE. I wouldn’t trust you to make a chreseburger.
Julia, this is amazing! Your recipe fits perfectly into my low-carb lifestyle; but what’s best is that it looks magnificent, utterly luscious! “Golden and beautiful,” as you say! Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful recipe my friend!
You’re hilarious man! I instantly because a fan when I watched you on Netflix, keep up the great work.
Maybe you should squeeze the potatoes then add the salt and pepper so it will not be lost
Yea I don’t know about that kinda hash so much Matt, but I am willing to give it a shot. You’ve never let me down yet.
I went to the store and bought kale. Im gonna do a spin off of this and try spam with it and colby jack cheese. Thanks for the video. It looked delicious.
Thanks Gordon, you made it easy. I tried it without the bacon and covered on the stovetop, no oven and it come out superb!

that’s my kind of eating there!!! awesome dish! thanks 4 sharing.
So that you call “best breakfast in the world “? You gotta f*cking kidding me
I am just getting down to the nuts and bolts of cooking. I feel like people really have a tendency to over-complicate dishes. I like your one skillet approach.
My guy put oil and butter and then fried bacon. Sheesh. My arteries
Loved this video and really want to try this recipe…but… Cayenne pepper. Do you need it for hash brown? Or can you still make hash Browns without the Cayenne pepper?
EGG WITH TAMATOES AND POTATOES
VERY NICE PRESENTATION
WE MADE AT HOME WAS VERY VERY TASTY
Id still rather a roll on square with a tattie scone. Ram yer yank shite lol a hash brown is a triangle !!!
It’s an ex-Arab Empire recipe. It spread across what it once was the Dar al-Islam. Extravirgin Olive Oil is the proper cooking fat. But, as with everything, you can make changes according to your tastes. SHAKSHOUKA: “EGGS IN HELL”:D
Funny how I was searching for a good Hash Brownie recipe and the first recomended video is Gordon Ramsay… sadly not making what I had in mind:(
this video was taken very clean and clear, you are a great chef!
